Wrestling legend, and one half of the IWF tag team champions Spike Kane was late last night admitted to hospital with a suspected concussion after he was brutally assaulted by Stephen Kingsley, and Cyrus Daniels [Criminal Intent] after the ending of his singles match with the Criminal Intent member Cyrus Daniels. Spike suffered a defeat, his second singles defeat since joining the Imperial Wrestling Federation, and was subsequently attacked by both members of the Australian outfit. IWF's medical team overlooked the God of Xtreme after his match despite his assurances that he was fine, and reluctantly allowed the superstar to leave.
However later in the night Spike's tag team partner Rob Diamond received some messages from Spike which were off character and confusing, Diamond acted on this and the result was Mr Kane being admitted over night, and sources say that he will undergo tests today. Rumour has it that the concussion is the reason why neither member of InFamous is booked this week.
"Dude....where were you? I needed you and you bailed on me" - First text message sent from Spike to Rob.
"The corruption runs deeper than I thought, we need to stamp it out. Tell me you have my back, I can't battle alone." - The message that sent warning signals off for Mr Diamond.
"They're watching me. I can see them. Everywhere. Those eyes, than can pierce the veil. They see it all.....oh god they see it all....." - the final message sent from Spike Kane before his friend arrived and along with his wife Alysson Gardner-Kane convinced the xtreme legend to attend the hospital and undergo checks.
