A moment in time fades in on the screen.
MAY 31, 2015
NIGHT OF THE IMMORTALS
JOKER IN THE PACK MATCH
It fades out to that moment…{Rob gets the better of Mike atop the ladder, and grabs him by the head, looking for a Diamond Cutter from the top of the ladder.}Vasco Dias: DON’T DO THAT! YOU’LL KILL HIM!
Terri Morasco: That may be what has to be done in the mind of Rob Diamond.
{The footage slows down as Alexis slides into the ring. The clip jumps to her grabbing hold of Rob’s foot pleading with Rob as he looks on in shock. It then jumps to Rob as he yells at her.}Rob Diamond: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YOU CRAZY BITCH!?!?
{The music in the background screams “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE NOW!?” as Alexis’ eyes immediately narrow, and she tilts her head with the meanest of intentions before swinging her arm upward between the legs of Rob Diamond, a crack of thunder heard in the background AS Terri Morasco’s voice echoes.}Terri Morasco: WHAT THE HELL!?
{The footage goes to Laszlo who looks down at his now wife, who by then had a smile on her face. Mike flashes an evil grin of his own before shoving Rob in the back OFF THE LADDER! Rob does a flip in mid-air and crashes through the ladder Mike setup on the outside, breaking it in half! The chant of the crowd echoes through the clip.}The Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
{Followed by Terri’s voice echoing again.}Terri Morasco: They may have killed that man!!!
{The clip zips to Mike as he perched himself atop the ladder, reached up, and grabbed the briefcase, the bell ringing and him laughing as the winner is announced.}Alison Valance: Here is your winner of the Joker in the Pack Match…MIIIIIKE LASZLOOOOO!
{The camera slowly pans out on the smiling faces of Mike and Alexis.}Another moment in time fades in…July 26, 2015
LINEAGE
IWF IMPERIAL TITLE MATCH
MIKE LASZLO: VS RENEE PLEASANT{The scene zips to Laszlo wrenching back on the Crossface portion of his Down Payment Maneuver.}Terri Morasco: What the hell!?
{The footage fast forwards but then goes to slow motion as Rob Diamond jumps the barricade. It resumes normal speed as he runs toward Alexis, then it slows down as he’s in mid-air delivering a Diamond Cutter to the Diamonds Champion!}Vasco Dias: What the hell!? She’s a woman!
{The footage speeds up to Laszlo’s stunned reaction and shows Rob jumping the barricade as Mike tends to Alexis. Renee is shown taking advantage, eventually hitting the RAV in the middle of the ring for the win. The camera zooms up on Rob with a smile on his face in the crowd as “What Have You Done Now” trails off.}We then jump to the week after Lineage.{We see Laszlo looking on as Rob stands on the stage.}Rob Diamond: Even though it’s quite clear who the real man is between us…let’s find out who the better man is…IN A CELL MATCH!
{It fast forwards to Mike’s answer.}Mike Laszlo:: Well you know what Rob? Yoooooouuuuuuu’ll find out next week.
{Rob is shown disappointed as Mike’s words echoe.}Mike Laszlo:: Suck it!
We re-live last week.Mike Laszlo:: You want a Cell match!? You’ve got a Cell match but trust me Rob… You’re going to regret it.
Rob Diamond: Yeah, I don’t think so.
{ Rob suddenly hauls off and looks for a kick to the balls but his shin collides with something hard in between Mike’s legs, Laszlo smiles and quickly hits Rob in the head with the microphone and Diamond drops. Rob tries to get up quickly but Mike is on him before he can do anything and drops him with Malicious Intent! }Vasco Dias: Oh my god!? How’d he take that nut shot!?
{ Laszlo stuffs his hands into his pants and pulls out a metal cup. }Vasco Dias: Ingenious!
Terri Morasco: He saw that nut shot coming a mile away.
{ Alexis joins Mike in the ring as Mike mockingly crotch chops Diamond who is laid out on the mat. The footage speeds up to Mike and Alexis standing tall over Rob who is out on the mat.}We then see the words that everyone loves to see in the live audience.
LIVE VIA SATELLITE{As we come to the scene and the camera is panning out, we see Mike Laszlo and Alexis Caffrey sitting on a leather sofa with the Diamonds Title on a table to the right of Alexis and the Joker In The Pack Briefcase on a table to the left of Mike. They look forward as the announcers stand up and ask some questions.}Terri Morasco: Mike, Alexis, thanks for joining us. One has to wonder first off why neither of you are here tonight?
Mike Laszlo:: Why aren’t we there? Why the hell should we lower ourselves to being in the same building with the likes of all those low life pieces of crap in the audience?
{There’s boos running rampant.}Mike Laszlo:: Quiet down and mow my lawn you bunch of morons.
{The boos continue as Terri talks over them.}Terri Morasco: Some would say it’s because you’re afraid of Rob Diamond.
{The crowd pops at his name.}Mike Laszlo:: Well that’s what they get for thinking. I threw that bearded piece of crap off a ladder, and last week, I let him know that this Cell match we have at Legacy will be the worst mistake he ever made.
Vasco Dias: Indeed you did. Why don’t you tell us why this is the biggest mistake of Rob’s life?
Mike Laszlo:: See Terri, take after him. He knows who to back. To answer your question Vasco, Rob is simply put a moron. He may have more of a God complex than Angel did. The facts are there in front of everyone. Rob Diamond is nothing when compared to the man who nearly killed him a couple months ago. He wants to cost me the title last month, he wants to Diamond Cut my wife. He’s gone too far and now I end him once and for all. If he thought falling off that ladder and crashing through another down to the floor was bad…just wait til Legacy.
{The crowd shows their displeasure as there’s a pause in questioning until Terri speaks up.}Terri Morasco: Switching gears here, let’s go to you Alexis. The finals to the Heiress to the Throne are tonight. It’s Amber Richards versus Eternity, the winner getting a shot in your first title defense since you won the title at Night of the Immortals.
{Before Terri can continue, Alexis chimes in, leaning forward in her seat.}Alexis Caffrey: Is that a shot at me Terri? Are you trying to insinuate that I’m a bad champion because I have yet to defend the title? Are you trying to say I’m a horrible champion because I don’t pad my reigns with useless defenses like Alex Jones?
Terri Morasco: No, not at all. I just wanted your thoughts on the Heiress to the Throne Finals tonight.
{Alexis shakes her head as she sits back in the seat.}Alexis Caffrey: It’s a lot more of the same old crap around here. Amber and Eternity fighting for a shot at the top prize…because we haven’t seen that before. Terri, when I was coming after this title, fighting off all the others in the Iron Maiden and even before, I said I was here to change the Diamonds Division. I said I was going to shatter glass ceilings and take things to places they’ve never gone before. I then beat Ana Valentine in the center of that ring. I took advantage of the opportunity presented to me, as anyone else would, and I pinned her one, two, three. I now hold this.
{She reaches over and pulls the Diamonds Title in front of her.}Alexis Caffrey: This says I am the best female competitor in this organization. This says I am on top looking down at all the little bugs crawling around my feet. One by one I will step on each and every single one of them until there are none left.
Vasco Dias: Do you have a preference as far as which of the two you’d want to face?
Alexis Caffrey: Not at all. Whether it’s Eternity and her strange motherly feelings or Amber praising the hell out of Ana, it’s all exactly the same as it was, and like when I beat Ana Valentine, I will beat either one of those so called women, ushering in a new era in Diamonds wrestling, an era free of hot potato with this gorgeous title, an era where I am the queen, and I’m telling you now…I don’t plan on being dethroned anytime soon.
Terri Morasco: Thank you both for your time.
{The two smile as “Cult of Personality” hits the speakers and the scene fades.}----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Nathan Baloff vs Soloman Khan
----------------------------------------------------------
{“Nothing to Gein” by Mudvayne starts to blare over the speakers in the arena as Nathan Baloff comes out from behind the curtain to meet his opponent who is already waiting in the ring for him. Baloff comes down the ramp slowly and deliberately, staring at his opponent like he’s a piece of meat. Baloff slides into the ring and pops up to virtually no recation.}
Vasco Dias: We don’t know a lot about the new comer to the IWF, but he’s certainly going to get his chance to show his stuff inside one of our rings. Word has it, he trained at the same place that produced Alex Atwater.
Terri Morasco: Well hopefully that camp has turned out another quality competitor. And if he’s anything like Alex Atwater, the fans and the IWF should welcome him with open arms.
{The match opens up with Baloff and Khan meeting in the center of the ring. The two tie up and Baloff gets the go behind. The second he gets the go behind, he rifles off a punch to Khan’s liver that makes his knees buckle. Baloff stands over Khan menacingly, waiting for him to get up. When he does, Baloff clubs him across the back. Khan drops to a knee, but Baloff picks him up with a gutwrench and suplexes him over on the mat. Baloff wastes no time and stays on Khan, pummeling him with a wild series of rights that leaves Khan stunned. Baloff picks up Khan and whips him across the ring, charging in and hitting him with an incredibly stiff and devastating running forearm. Khan drops in the corner and Baloff takes off, coming back and boot scraping Khan clean out of the ring.}
Vasco Dias: Baloff is off to a wicked start here in the beginning, but he’s leaving no room for Khan to breathe.
Terri Morasco: Jesus, this guy looks like a vicious dog that wants to chew Soloman Khan’s leg off!
Vasco Dias: Wow, I think he damn near knocked him out with that forearm. This guy is holding nothing back.
Terri Morasco: Khan is out of the ring, and I think this is going to spill to the outside all together Vasco.
{Baloff climbs out of the ring, despite the ref trying to stop him. Baloff picks up Khan and runs him head first into the ring post, and then carelessly chucks him into the guard railing. Khan lands in a heap and the referee starts his counting, but Baloff pays it no mind, grabbing a chord from the camera crew. Baloff wraps it around Khan’s neck and starts to wrench on it, turning Khan purple. Baloff has a sick smile on his face as he drops Khan on his face and turns around; causing a child to recoil in horror in the stands. Baloff picks up Khan, grabs him by the back of the head, and slams him down on the guard railing right in front of the little kid. Baloff picks up and Khan and rolls him back into the ring and climbs back into the ring to avoid the ten count.}Vasco Dias: Khan’s head must be ringing like the post is after his head bounced off of it. Baloff is just savaging this kid.
Terri Morasco: Oh come on! Someone has to stop that! He’s choking him with the camera chords for Christ sake!
Vasco Dias: Did he just scare a little kid? Oh my god! He just bashed Khan’s head off the guard railing right in front of that little kid; and I think this guy did it on purpose!
Terri Morasco: What is wrong with Nathan Baloff?
{ Khan gets up and tries to get away, scrambling to the ropes and hanging on them. Baloff grins, thinking he has Khan lined up right where he wants him. Baloff charges and Khan drops, pulling the ropes down. Baloff goes crashing over to the outside. He gets up from his crash, looking angry as he does. Khan takes off running and dives over the ropes, going for a suicide plancha, but Baloff catches him in mid air, and then swings him over with a t-bone suplex, that drops Khan across the guard railing. Khan comes down in a heap, but Baloff wastes no time picking him back up and throwing him back into the ring. Baloff comes back in, looking for Khan. Khan rolls onto his stomach, but Baloff hooks his legs, and grabs his arms; driving Khan down with a curb stomp.}
Vasco Dias: Baloff has Khan all lined up. This could be a doozy! Khan pulls the ropes down! Good for you kid, find your way back into this!
Terri Morasco: Baloff is up! He caught Khan in mid air! He just broke him in two on the guard railing! Someone call a doctor!
Vasco Dias: They’re back in the ring, thank god!
Terri Morasco: Oh god no! He’s just trying to hurt Khan now! I don’t think this guy cares at all what happens here.
{Baloff stands over Khan and looks at him with a sick grin on his face. Khan starts to get up, and Baloff picks him up off the mat, scooping him up onto his shoulder in the Canadian backbreaker position. Baloff swings Khan down, hitting him with a sickening piledriver that Baloff calls the Decapitator. Khan lands in a heap in the center of the ring on his face. Baloff gets up and walks around grabbing Khan’s legs, twisting him around into the gorilla clutch. Baloff sinches in his Butcher’s Hook submission hold, clamping down on Khan until he has no choice but to slap the mat in submission. Even while he slaps the mat wildly in submission, Baloff continues to crank on the hold, prompting the ref to pry him away from Khan’s legs} Announcer: The winner of the match via Submission… Nathan Baloff!
Vasco Dias: Nathan Baloff comes out and dominates Soloman Khan, forcing him to tap out!
Terri Morasco: I don’t think he’s satisfied with just that Vasco! I think this guy doesn’t care at all.
{Baloff gets up from the mat, leaving Khan writhing in pain. Baloff drops down, getting into Khan’s face, very visibly laughing at Khan’s suffering as he clutches his knee. Baloff grabs Khan’s face and talks menacingly to him before Baloff pops up and jumps up driving an elbow into him. Baloff gets up and picks up Khan, whipping him head first into the corner and straight into the ring post. Khan tumbles to the outside of the ring and Baloff follows after him. Baloff goes right back to the same kid sitting in the front row that he scared earlier and takes the chair away from the little boy, prompting the child’s father to go wild in the stands. Baloff winds back and cracks Khan in the back with the chair.}Vasco Dias: Oh come on! Just leave him alone! You won the match already!
Terri Morasco: He stole that chair from that kid! And he’s using it to whip the hell out of Khan!
Vasco Dias: The kids father seems really upset and I can’t say I blame him!
Terri Morasco: You never know what’s going to happen on Sacrifice, that’s for sure!
{Khan tries to get up, but Baloff swings for the fences and connects with Khan’s head. Khan’s head opens up, and the sight of blood seems to send Baloff into a frenzied state. Baloff drops the chair and digs into his pocket, pulling out a pizza wheel. Baloff grabs Khan by the hair and cranks his head back. Baloff grinds the wheel into Khan’s head and starts to rake it back and forth, opening him up and letting his blood pour out. The referees have all run down to the ring by this point and are trying to peel Baloff off of Khan. Baloff tosses the refs to the side, and punches Khan in the head a few more times. Baloff walks over and grabs the camera chord again and wraps it around the Khan’s neck again, refusing to let up his assault. The bell rings for the millionth time and finally the announcer comes back on the microphone.}Announcer: The referee has declared that he is reversing his decision and declaring Soloman Khan the winner of this match via disqualification!
Vasco Dias: Someone call the doctors! Khan’s pouring blood out of his head like a faucet because this psycho is carving him up with a pizza cutter!
Terri Morasco: As if that weren’t bad enough, he’s choking the hell out of him! He’s forcing more blood out and not letting him breath! He’s even tossing our referees around! But I think our head referee is doing the right thing here!
[Baloff chokes Khan a few more times and then lets him drop, leaving him lifeless on the floor. Baloff starts to walk away as his music begins to play. Baloff walks over to the ring announcer, causing her to drop the microphone. Baloff laughs and picks up the microphone, letting everyone hear the sick laugh as he puts the microphone up to his mouth.} Nathan Baloff: Thanks. I had a lot of… fun.
[Baloff snickers like the cat that at the canary and drops the microphone, walking away from the ringside area like nothing at all had happened, as his music starts playing again and he disappears.}----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Alexander Atwater vs Todd Williams
----------------------------------------------------------
{“The Justinian Code” by Byzantine hits the speakers and Alex Atwater comes out from behind the curtain, and marches down to the ring. Atwater slides into the ring as the fans cheer. Atwater pops up with his hands over his head and his fists clenched. Atwater rifles off a quick salute to the cameras and then stands in the ring waiting for Todd Williams to come out from behind the curtain.}Vasco Dias: Atwater is out here and he looks like he’s ready to do battle.
Terri Morasco: Well, he should get one tonight, because here comes his opponent.
{Todd Williams music starts, but no one comes out through the curtain. Atwater stands there with his hands on his hips, looking entirely unhappy that his opponent isn’t coming out. Atwater waits as the music hits again, and again, there’s absolutely nothing. Atwater shakes his head and rolls out of the ring, grabbing the microphone. He rolls back into the ring and pops back to his feet, looking at the ramp.}Alex Atwater: Well isn’t this a bunch of bullshit?
{Atwater sits back in the corner, letting the crowd react to his question.}
Crowd: Bullshit! Bullshit! Bullshit!
{Atwater smirks and waits for the crowd to die down before he starts speaking again.} Alex Atwater: You know what else is a big bunch of bullshit? Me not getting my god damn Invictus title shot.
Crowd: Bullshit! Bullshit! Bullshit!
Alex Atwater: Yeah, you got that right. The IWF fans see it, I see it, the whole god damn world sees it. There is no more ignoring it. There is no more running from it anymore. Because I don’t care what the hell I have to do… I’m going to get what’s coming to me.
{Atwater paces around the ring, pandering to the various cameras and the crowd as he talks.}Alex Atwater: There’s a little pay-per-view coming up here real soon… and I’ma thinking that this big ol Texan is going to find some how, some way… to make sure that the Invictus champion and myself end up in the ring, ready to do battle with one another. In fact, I don’t think there’s going to be much he can do about what’s coming his way.
{The crowd buzzes as Atwater waves his free hand around and gestures towards the back}Alex Atwater: I’ve had this contract in my possession for months. I’ve been waiting and biding my time until I could get my hands on whoever the Invictus champion was. So Mohammed… is daddy’s money going to buy your way out of this? Is the almight allah coming down to fight your battle for you? Are all those hangers on walking out to the ring to defend that title you care about so much? No son, this one is going to have to be all you.
{Atwater smirks and continues his tirade.} Alex Atwater: It’s going to be up to you when we walk down the aisle and get in the ring . At Legacy, you don’t have a choice but to get in the ring and put that precious little belt on the line. Only it ain’t going to be a dumb shit Aaron Owens. It’s not going to be some lack wit like Rob Diamond. It’s going to be the finest fighting machine the USA has ever produced. And it’s going to be a very fucking short reign as Invictus champion for you.
{Atwater continues and steps towards the ropes, continue to cut his promo}Alex Atwater: So do me a favor and get that thing polished up. Get your bank account straight too. Cuz you’re going to have an invoice coming across your desk. And maybe daddy has enough money to cover it, maybe he doesn’t. But since I’m a Texan and I’m a good guy, I’ll ship it all out to you anyway… because I know you’re going to give me what’s rightfully mine. And in return, you’ll get exactly what you truly need.
{Alex laughs and leans on the ropes, staring into the cameras.}Alex Atwater: And that’s a good old fashioned American ass whooping.
{Atwater drops the microphone and rolls out of the ring as his music plays and he walks back up the ramp.}----------------------------------------------------------
TAG TEAM MATCH
Rob Diamond & Aaron Owens vs Mohamed Al-Thani & Guernica
----------------------------------------------------------
Result: The match goes back and forth with Al-Thani and Guernica getting the upper hand on Aaron Owens until Rob comes in and fights off Guernica, taking himself and Guernica outside to the floor, both hitting hard on the apron and crashing to the floor. Owens starts to fight back but the Invictus Champion is able to get around him and roll him up, and pulling on the tights, pins Owens for the three count.
----------------------------------------------------------
HEIR TO THE THRONE FINAL FLASHBACK 2013
Joe Everyman vs Lex Sense
----------------------------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: The time has come, ladies and gentlemen. After a grueling Heir to the Throne tournament it has come down to two men, one of which will be the first ever Imperial Champion.
Vasco Dias: Definitely an exciting time. I have a feeling we are about to witness a match for the ages.
{"Live To Rise", by Soundgarden starts blasting over the PA system. Pyros are going off on the stage all over the place. Joe Everyman comes out onto the stage, not as ecstatic as earlier as he is clearly sporting some injuries after facing Cable. Joe limps down the ramp, focused and determined and only slightly acknowledging the fans who cheer for him. Joe then comes to the end of the ramp and instead of doing his normal entrance, Joe slides in through the bottom rope. Loud blue pyros shoot from the ring posts as Joe warms his aching body for the test ahead of him.}Vasco Dias: Joe Everyman has truly impressed as of recent weeks. After a failed start he seems to have found himself in the Final Four and now the Finals themselves. What a shock it would be if he were to win?
Terri Morasco: I wouldn't put it past him right now. He's been on one hell of a roll but not as much of a tear as his former partner turned rival.
{The haunting strum of an acoustic guitar ushers in Mark Collie's, "In Time" as the ring is illuminated with a black light.}"I can tell what you're thinking,
All your doubts and fears.
And if you look in my eyes, in time you'll find
The reason I'm here."
{The final words echo into the ether and the song transitions into the organs that intro "Destroy the World Around Me", by Mushroomhead. A wave of fog has begun to blanket the stage, traversing towards the crowd and ring. An audience stands still in anticipation, some frightened others enthralled. Sense raises up from underneath the stage, shirtless and also sporting fresh bruises. He stares out into a raucous audience that love to hate the man with no fear. Once risen, Sense steps through the pillars of fire that explode one after the other across the stage as the harsh drums, guitars and vocals blare throughout the arena. He stomps his way down the ramp to the beat of the drums, slapping himself in the face with a fiery intensity. Sense stalks around the corner of the ring before grabbing the top rope and pulling himself up and over and into the squared circle, releasing a primal scream that brings the fans into a near riot.}Terri Morasco: Lex Sense is so far undefeated and has some scary momentum. I just don't see Joe being able to withstand such raw strength and power.
Vasco Dias: Stranger things have happened Terri. After a grueling match with Mike Laszlo, Sense may be more injured than he is letting on. Either way, the time has come to find the Imperial Title a waist to call home.
{The giant Sense stares at Joe from across the ring with an intense fury that would cause any man to tremble. Everyman doesn't seem to be intimidated but is concerned as the bell rings. Joe begins moving about, expecting Lex to do the same only Lex does not. Lex simply continues with the sharp glare, cutting through Joe to the center of his core. Joe doesn't break eye contact, waving Sense on, taunting him to make the first move. Sense simply scoffs as he tightens the tape around his wrist.}Terri Morasco: Looks like Sense isn't in a hurry to start this match.
Vasco Dias: Joe took one hell of a beating earlier against Cable. I think Sense knows he has this thing won.
{Joe continues with the taunts, eventually holding his hands up as he bravely challenges the much stronger behemoth to a strength test. Sense continues to scoff as he lurches forward, answering the challenge with a giant kitchen sink to the midsection. Joe has no time to respond as the giant running knee connects and he flips over the blow unto his back. Joe tries to immediately sit up but Sense drops a huge standing elbow drop to his chest, quickly getting back to his feet to deliver a second, followed by a third and then ending with a fourth. Sense then kneels before Everyman, facepalms him with one hand, lifts his head a couple of feet off the ground before planting it back into the mat with so much force the ring actually shakes. Sense then mounts Joe and delivers lefts and rights in a ground and pound that seems to never let up.}Terri Morasco: This is a mugging. Shouldn't the ref stop this?
Vasco Dias: Not if he wants to continue collecting paychecks. He better give these wrestlers some freedom.
{Lex is hitting hooks after hook until growing bored and simply repositioning himself to make a pin, pushing down on his chest as though executing push-ups on Joe's downed body and 1... JOE GETS THE SHOULDER UP! Sense doesn't look surprised as his smirk tales the tell of someone that is happy to continue the beating. Sense gets back to a vertical base, pulling Joe with him before throwing him into the corner. Joe's feet launch off the floor as his back collides with the turnbuckles with such force that blood shoots out of Joe's mouth. Sense follows this with a huge rib-crushing corner body splash. Joe leans on Sense as he pulls away slightly, clearly in dire straits and would've most likely faceplanted on the floor if Sense wasn't standing there. Sense hugs his little buddy, patting the back of his head and mouthing the words, "Everything will be alright". The crowd is booing horrendously, all the negative feedback feeding Sense's drive as he pulls Joe off of him just to deliver a stiff cutting European uppercut that levels Joe, sending him plummeting, banging his head on each turnbuckle before coming to rest with a sitdown against the bottom turnbuckle. Sense then motions his hands like a conductor to an orchestra as the crowd is a chorus of displeased noise.}Vasco Dias: Lex is one hell of a unique monster. I have never seen anybody like him.
Terri Morasco: Anybody? More like anything. I wouldn't want to be left alone in a room with him.
Vasco Dias: I hear that's how ladies get pregnant.
{Sense takes his time taunting a crowd that has begun to cheer out of blue. Lex wonders why for a second before turning to find Joe pulling himself back to a standing position. Sense shakes his head, chuckling slightly before charging into him head-on without a care in the world which proves to be a mistake as Joe hits a perfectly executed standing dropkick dead on in the center of his massive chest. Sense stumbles back after the blow and Joe hurries back to his feet to take advantage and assaults Sense with a flurry of left and rights, kicks to the stomach and knees, chest chops, anything he could use to hit Sense in any place that wont get him disqualified. Sense is surprised as he takes blow after blow but the man only stumbles into a corner and never once did it look like he was on the verge of tipping over.}Terri Morasco: Nothing technical about a good old fashioned slugfest but I think we could forgive him this one time.
Vasco Dias: You could but I wont. It's going to take a whole lot of wrestling to finally put Sense down and I'm not too sure Joe has anything left in the tank.
{Sense is cornered and The American Dream is relentless in his physical beatdown only now it seems he's directed his line of sight towards the big man's knees. Boot after boot connects with Lex's right knee until Sense finally comes around and leans in with a headbutt. Joe is immediately dazed, backpedaling far enough for Sense to burst out of the corner with a big boot that takes Everyman off his feet. Joe writhes around as Sense angrily stomps around, limping a bit as he recovers quickly from the assault. An enraged Lex goes back on the attack, wrapping both meaty paws around Joe's throat as he lays on the mat. Lex rips him off of his back and straight into the air with a Standing Double Armed Chokehold. The ref begins his count for an illegal submission as Joe's feet dangle beneath him desperately reaching for the ground. The ref is nearing 5 when Everyman comes to life and raises both legs and shotguns them straight into Sense's chest. Lex drops Joe back to his knees as he stumbles back into the ropes. Joe looks to be gasping for air but he pushes through it and launches himself into Lex using his whole body as a weapon in some type of crossbody that sends both men over the ropes to the outside. However, as Joe smacks the ringside floor hard, Sense somehow flips back to his feet and only stumbles against the announcer's table.}Vasco Dias: Lex hasn't been off his feet once in this match. It doesn't appear he is too winded after a grueling match earlier.
Terri Morasco: He can take massive amounts of punishment and I think his recovery rate is the fastest I have ever seen. Joe needs to try something new here.
{Though still standing, the small of Lex's back did collide with the table's edge. He reaches back for it in pain as Joe pushes through with everything he's got and gets behind Sense, propelling him forward head first into the steel post. Lex stumbles back looking concussed after headbutting steel but is still able to stop Joe from doing it a second time by rearing a back elbow to his temple. Everyman takes a few steps away, leaning against the announcer's table for support. Sense shakes the cobwebs and lumbers towards Joe, going to grab him from behind when Everyman strikes out of nowhere with an "EKO" (RKO)! Somehow Sense ends up lying on top of the table after the maneuver, completely in dreamsville. Joe notices the ref's count nearing 10 so he quickly slides back in to break it by shoving the ref by his collar and telling him to stop.}Vasco Dias: Joe better stop before he finds himself disqualified. Earlier he was more than willing to win with a 10 count and now that doesn't seem good enough.
Terri Morasco: He's been outspoken about beating Lex legitimately in the ring. I don't think he wants to do it by countout.
{Joe hurries towards the corner with something in mind and quickly ascends them, standing on the top turnbuckle and staring out into a crowd that is going wild. Sense is still shaking off the effects on top of the table and spots Joe but it is too late as Everyman flies across the air with a picture perfect "Swanton Bomb" that smashes Sense through the announcer's table! Joe looks to have taken some damage from the spectacular move but Sense took the brunt of it. Both men lay on the ringside floor on top of ruined metal and wood as the crowd starts up an IWF chant. Luckily, Terri and Vasco got out of the way in time.}Terri Morasco: Looks like we wont be working with our monitors from now on. That was effing crazy!
Vasco Dias: I'm a purist when it comes to wrestling but that was one amazing display of athleticism.
{The ref isn't even counting as he looks absolutely stunned by what he just saw. Sense, somehow, is still the first to crawl out of the wreckage but for the first time he doesn't looked as confident as he once was. Sense uses both hands and pushes himself to a standing position, seemingly getting ready to go back and pull Joe out when Everyman shoots out of the wreckage with a lightning quick "BANG!" (CDK Gore)! Sense finds himself once again on his back but Joe is looking rather winded as he is giving it his all to push the giant to his limits. Sense writhes around, as Joe uses the apron's edge to get back to a standing position. The ref looks to be in the middle of a double countout and Joe sees that Sense is actually having a hard time so he reaches down and musters up the strength to lift the deadweight of Lex. Joe struggles but eventually he slides the big man back into the ring, sliding in right after to hook the leg and 1... SENSE BENCHPRESSES JOE OFF OF HIM!}Vasco Dias: Not even a two count but Joe is definitely not making it easy on Sense.
Terri Morasco: Agreed. This fight is no longer one sided.
{Joe seems a bit frustrated as Sense turns over to get back to a vertical base. Everyman gets to his feet and begins laying in stomps in a futile effort to keep Sense from standing. Lex's body is clearly bruised and welted but the 7 foot train of pain will not be derailed as he raises both hands from a kneeling position and then shoves them into Joe's chest, pushing him into the ropes which he rebounds off of right into a rising clothesline that sends Joe head over heels back to the mat. Lex doesn't look too pleased as a primal scream proceeds the grabbing of a prone Joe's legs. Lex then wraps them securely around his head and with a show of raw power, Sense deadlifts Joe into the air before bringing him slamming back down to the mat with a Powerbomb! Sense doesn't let go as he deadlifts once again and then drills him to the mat with a second Powerbomb! Sense repeats the cycle for a third time, completing his "Top to Bottom" {Triple Powerbombs)! Sense then goes for the Jackknife Pin and 1... 2... JOE KICKS OUT!} Vasco Dias: Didn't expect that. Joe is really giving 110 percent tonight.
Terri Morasco: Are you listening to this crowd? They have rallied behind Joe. This is incredible.
{Sense rises to his feet with so much rage that the ref quickly slides out of the ring before an argument over the count can even begin. Sense shakes his head in disbelief as he stares down at his former partner, proudly smirking at the little fella's fortitude. However, that admiration quickly washes away as Sense reaches down and rips Joe off the floor. In one fluid motion Everyman goes from prone to on top of Sense's shoulder's in a Fireman's Carry. Lex looks to be going for his "Left Senseless Driver" but Joe refuses to lie down and die as he kicks out his own legs until slipping behind Sense, making sure his arm wrapped around the giant's face, bending him back and then drilling him to the mat with a Reverse DDT! The ring shakes as Sense frustratingly finds himself pained and on the ground. Joe forces his feet under him, hurrying to get around to Sense's legs, grabbing them as he looks to lock in his "Streets of Gold" (Haas of Pain).}Terri Morasco: Is Joe really going for what I think he is going for?
Vasco Dias: Nothing better to slay a giant than a well executed submission on the legs.
{Joe is attempting to tie Sense's legs up, however, the task is too much and Sense comes around, snapping his legs forward and sending Joe chest first into the turnbuckles. Everyman backpedals out of the corner in pain with his arms crossed over his chest right into Lex's waiting hands who crosses his arms over Joe's and then snaps him back with a "Straightjacket" (X-Plex)! Sense actually bridges for the cover and 1... 2... 3-NO! JOE SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY FINDS THE WILL TO KICKOUT!}Terri Morasco: Holy smokes! This may be the match of the year right here.
Vasco Dias: He may be standing up to a giant, Terri, but no way Joe has much more left in the tank.
{Sense is now clearly frustrated, enraged at the what he considers to be a slow count. The ref stands his ground from a distance and Sense has had just about enough of it all. Sense rises with intensity burning in his eyes, his intentions set on ending this. As he grabs Joe by the arm and pulls him to his feet he finds Joe has little fight left in him. Sense Irish Whips him into the ropes. Joe rebounds right into Sense who catches, lifts and then twists Joe's body, going for the "Lex Marks the Spot" (AA Spinebuster) but Joe comes to life and counters at the last second with one hell of an "Aurora Driver" (Leaping Reverse STO)!}Vasco Dias: Joe won earlier with that very move and now it seems he might do it again.
{A winded Joe turns over on top of Sense and goes for the cover and 1... 2... 3-NO! SENSE GETS THE SHOULDER UP! A disappointed crowd voices it's frustration as Sense rolls unto his stomach while Joe pulls at his hair looking absolutely bewildered.} Terri Morasco: Sense is dangerously durable and he doesn't look too happy now.
{Joe just doesn't know what to do as Sense gets on all fours, on his way to getting to his feet. Everyman begins kicking at Sense's head but nothing is stopping him from rising. Joe goes for a leg drop to the back of the head but Sense rolls out of the way and back to his feet. Joe stays seated for a second after the miss, a pained expression plastered on his face. Joe goes to stand but once he finds himself on his feet, Sense runs him over with a rushing double axe handle. Everyman falls flat on his back but he doesn't stay down for long as Sense rips him off the mat and then pitches him into the corner. Sense runs towards a cornered Joe going for a a huge body splash but Joe slips through the ropes to the apron. Sense collides chest-first into the turnbuckles while simultaneously Joe is climbing the ropes from the apron. Lex stumbles back just enough for Everyman to come flipping over him off the top rope with a Blockbuster! The back of Sense's neck snaps off the mat and in a confused state, he begins pushing himself back to his feet, completely unaware of where Joe was in the ring. Joe waits for the opportune time before locking in a Guillotine as Sense was keeled over in the process of standing before swiftly dropping him cold with a "Twist of Fate"! Joe works to push Sense unto his back, hooking the leg as an excited crowd counts along and 1... 2... SENSE RAISES THE SHOULDER BUT IS HALF A SECOND TOO LATE SO 3!}Terri Morasco: Two upsets in one night! Joe Everyman is our first ever Imperial Champion and the world never saw it coming. What an exciting time to "Believe in Joe".
Vasco Dias: I am absolutely speechless right now. After a grueling tournament that Sense dominated we find ourselves with a champion that nobody predicted. What an amazing night, and I always wanted to say this.... THE CROWD GOES WILD!!
{"Live to Rise" hits the speakers as Joe looks stunned that he actually pulled out the victory. Red, white and blue confetti begins to fall from the rafters as Joe sits up, tears streaming down his face in utter disbelief. The referee comes around to reassure Joe that he has one by raising his arm and then handing him the Imperial Championship Title. Joe clutches it, kissing it as some fans in the crowd actually join him in crying while others chant his name.}Terri Morasco: What a beautiful sight!
{Joe forgets about the pain he has endured and hops to his feet, heading towards a corner and climbing it, holding the belt high into the air as the crowd cheers so loud they could probably hear it from space. Joe hops back down and turns to find Sense towering over him... Joe clutches the belt as though Lex was going to steal it from him, ready to continue the fight if he had to.}Vasco Dias: I don't think Sense is going to give him this moment.
{The mood is tense as the crowd quiets down unsure of what is going to occur. Sense lifts his hand as though he is going to deck Joe in the mouth but instead extends it and offers it to Joe.}Vasco Dias: What a show of sportsmanship. Really classy coming from someone like Sense.
{Joe is apprehensive but after a second he clutches it and shakes it. Sense shakes back as he gives him a respectful nod before stepping over of the ropes to the outside of the ring, leaving Joe to continue celebrating. Joe is ecstatic as he stares at his well deserved reward when from behind, Xander Famularo appears and takes Joe for a trip with the "Metal Health" (Backdrop Driver)! Xander rises to his feet and kicks the trinket away as he points down to Joe and mouths some obscenities before dropping down and delivering fist after fist to a downed Joe.}Vasco Dias: Looks like the target on Joe's back did not take long to activate.
Terri Morasco: This is absolutely disgusting! Joe has had one hard night and now a vulture Xander attacks him from behind...
{Halfway up the ramp, Sense looks at the jumbotron and sees Xander delivering a beating to Joe. The crowd goes wild as Sense runs back into the ring and yanks Xander off of Joe, standing over the newly crowned champion like a guard protecting his quarterback. Xander clearly tells Sense that he is not here for him, pointing to Joe to reveal his intentions. Sense doesn't move and Xander begins to back out of the ring.}Terri Morasco: Looks like EverySense is not dead after all.
{Joe, refusing to let his big moment end with him on the floor uses the ropes to stand, noticing that Sense is protecting him. He thanks Lex and Sense goes to retrieve the belt, handing it back to Joe who he pats on the back as Xander slowly backs up the ramp with a big smile on his face as he points back at the pair in the ring. }Vasco Dias: Well, this is a touching moment, Lex is going to let Joe have his moment no matter what it seems.
{ Joe thanks Lex again and continues to celebrate, the barricades being little defence to a few bold fans who hop into the ring and rush to Joe, surrounding the man who has accomplished his dream tonight. Lex gets out of the way as they raise him onto their shoulders and the security hang back slightly to let them parade Joe around the ring as he visibly is so touched emotionally by the outpouring of sheer joy over his monumental achievement. }Terri Morasco: I can't express in words how special this moment is.
Vasco Dias: Perhaps, but Joe is out of the frying pan and into the fire here, Xander has his eyes on him after destroying Xavier Cross earlier.
Terri Morasco: Let's just let him live in this moment Vasco, congratulations to a guy with a whole lot of heart.
{ Xander has finally disappeared but our final shot of the evening is Joe being thrown up in the air and caught by his adoring fans but being watched very, very attentively by Lex Sense who smiles at his friend, but is his delight genuine? Lineage closes an absolutely epic night which has made history and shocked the world. }----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Jessica Reed vs Crystal Hilton
----------------------------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: Welcome everyone to our next match for the evening and what a treat we have in store for you! IWF Hall of Famer, Jessica Reed, makes a relatively rare in ring appearance against one of the icon of women’s wrestling, Crystal Hilton!
Vasco Dias: Oh, how privileged we are that Jess has decided to grace us with her presence.
Terri Morasco: Do you have to put a down on absolutely everything?
Alison Valance: The next match is scheduled for one fall.
{ The lights in the arena go out as "Die Young" by Ke$ha hits the PA system and the crowd go nuts. Strobe lighting begins to flash in various colours around the arena as Jessica Reed emerges from behind the curtain to a standing ovation. She smile and waves to the fans before steadying herself for a gentle sprint to the ring, slapping the hands of fans as she goes much to their delight. Reaching the ring steps she climbs up to the top of the turnbuckle and continues to wave the crowd, pumping them up even more before hopping down into the ring. }Alison Valance: Introducing first, she is an IWF Hall of Famer, Jessica Reeeeeed!
Terri Morasco: Love her or hate her, you can’t deny the impact Jessica had on the early stages of the Diamond’s division. She was one of the forerunners of one of our most successful divisions.
Vasco Dias: I’ll give her that, but injury or not, Jessica hasn’t been around for over a year, in that time other apex predators in the guise of Ana Valentine, Amber Richard, Alexis Caffrey and Eternity.
Terri Morasco: I won’t argue with you there.
{ All of a sudden “Superstar” by Lupe Fiasco starts playing all over the Pa system. Two lights are pointed at the entrance way. Crystal Emerges through the curtains and is greeted by multiple pyros that start shooting off one by one. The crowd roars at her with a loud ovation of boos and she slowly makes her way out walking down the aisle. Crystal cracks a grin as her photographers line up to take a picture of her but she turns her nose up at the fans as she makes her way to the ring. She finally makes it to the ring and places one foot on the apron and stretches the other one on the apron as well. She does a split to enter the ring and she finally makes it to her feet. She smiles bouncing around a bit as she awaits the start of the match. }Alison Valance: And her opponent, she goes by the name the Rose Goddess, she is Crystal Hiltooooooonnnnnn!
Vasco Dias: Now here comes a woman with lots of experience, exactly what I like.
Terri Morasco: Although she has been in indifferent form so far during her career in IWF, you cannot forget that she has been associated with some of the biggest names in the business and had a lot of success in NCW too.
Vasco Dias: And now she has aligned herself with the most dominant Diamond is the world today, Ana Jones, she sure knows how to keep good company.
{ The bell rings as the two competitors begin to circle the ring and the noise begins to raise as they rush forward and lock up, testing one another’s strength early on here. Eventually Crystal gains the upper hand and pushes Jess tumbling backward who rights herself and smiles, clearly feeling a little bit of ring rust in the early stages. She picks herself up and charges at Crystal and goes for a clothesline, but Crystal see’s it coming and ducks underneath, turning quickly to deliver a elbow to Jess’ lower back. Jess yelps in pain but before she can do much else she turns and eats a vicious right hook that sends her staggering across the ring before Crystal grabs her by the head and drives her face first into the turnbuckle. Turning her around, Crystal lays Jess in the corner as she begins to deliver a series of shin kicks to her opponent, sending her down the turnbuckles one by one before she finishes her assault be delivering a series of vicious stomps to take control early on. }Vasco Dias: Crystal is showing all of her nous tonight, she’s clearly learned a vicious and efficient streak from Ana Jones.
Terri Morasco: Jess seems to have a little bit of rust early on, which is understandable after so long out of the ring full time.
Vasco Dias: And Crystal just exploited that to her full advantage.
{ Crystal grabs Jess and lifts her out of the corner before the official pulls her off her and hits a well-executed suplex before picking her up to drop her down again with a DDT before going for a pinfall. 1….2.NO! Jess is dazed but she’s still got some fight left in her tonight. Crystal slaps the mat in frustration before picking herself up and landing a few kicks to Jess before yanking her off the mat and whipping her into the ropes. Crystal goes for a clothesline but Jess manages to recover and duck in her arm, bouncing off the ropes before returning with a spinning elbow which knocks Crystal flat on her back! }Terri Morasco: Here we go! Jess is still in this thing!
Vasco Dias: Come on Crystal, pick it up! Get back in control!
Terri Morasco: This isn’t over yet.
{ Jess lifts herself up and hits a spinning heel kick on a resurgent Crystal who tries to get back into this but is sent flat on her back. Crystal comes at Jess again but this time she eats a clothesline for her troubles before getting up to take another and another before she finally stays flat on her back. Jess sees her chance as she leaps into the air and lands a well placed leg drop across the throat of Hilton who is starting to feel the effects of Jess’ comeback. Realising she has a little more time Jess picks herself up and yanks Hilton off the mat before grabbing her and hitting a series of snap suplexes in quick succession which shakes the ring. Noticing Crystal is planted for the time being Jess decides to climb the turnbuckle, leaping from the second to plant a knee into the temple of Hilton. }Vasco Dias: I can’t believe this.
Terri Morasco: Jess has fought her way back into this admirably, but can she capitalise before Crystal has a chance to find an opening?
Vasco Dias: She’s a veteran of this business, she’s just waiting for her chance!
{ Jess goes for a cover but Crystal is quick to kick out at one, leaving little time for the official to pick himself back up. Jess picks herself up and then leans down to pick Crystal up but as she grabs her hair Crystal suddenly leans up and drags her fingers across Jess’ eyes before the referee can spot her, sending Jess reeling off in search of the ropes to steady herself as the crowd boos heavily. }Vasco Dias: What a clever play by Crystal!
Terri Morasco: What a dirty move, this is completely out of the spirit of competition.
Vasco Dias: Vintage Hilton.
{ Crystal picks herself up, desperately chasing after Jess in an attempt to gain some ascendancy from her sly eye rake but as she lays a hand on her shoulder Jess grabs Crystal and in one fluid motion she flips Crystal into position to lock in the Snap, Crackle and Pop seated Fujiwara arm bar! Jess screams at the top her lungs as she wrenches the move in firmly as Crystal cries in agony, desperately scrambling to get as close to the ropes as possible but it appears to be to no avail as she is far too distant from them to stand any realistic chance of reaching them. Crystal face is a picture of a desperate internal struggle as she tries her hardest to ignore the pain which is tempting her to quit. She tries one last time to claw her way but Jess has it locked in tightly. }Vasco Dias: No Crystal, don’t give up!
Terri Morasco: She may have little choice in the matter Vasco, Jess landed this in the perfect area of the ring. Crystal is in no man’s land out there.
{ Jess wrenches Crystal’s arm one more time and the victim of her hold look ready to tap when suddenly the PA system erupts and “In This Moment” by Sex Metal Barbie resonates around the arena. Jess’ head immediately tears up and looks towards the ramp as Ana Jones emerges from behind the curtains clutching a microphone in her hand as boos rain down heavily on her. She takes a few steps forward as Jess relinquishes the hold and walks over to the ropes. }Ana Jones: Hi Jessica, I hope you’ll accept my humblest of apologies, I was just so excited to see you back in action I had to get a better look.
{ Jess begins to shout at her as Ana raises a hand. }Ana Jones: Now I know Roberto said I was barred from ringside but as you can see… I’m all the way up here, and you’re all the way down there so I am in no way violating his order…
{ Ana pauses briefly. }Ana Jones: But of course, the same can’t be said for Crystal…
{ Ana points down at the ring as Jess turns around, to find Crystal Hilton standing behind her with a steel chair in her hand. Before she can do anything Hilton swings the object straight into Jess’ head as the referee immediately calls for the bell and Ana laughs on the stage. The fans boo as Crystal stands over Jess, shouting down expletives. }Ana Jones: Aw shucks, better luck next time Jessica. Oh, and one more thing before I go… that little match of yours? Consider it accepted. I’ll see you in two weeks times and prove once and for all who the better woman is.
{ Ana drops her microphone and begins to laugh but as she turns around the PA system explodes again as “King of the World” by Porcelain and the tramps blasts out of the speakers and Roberto Verona marches out of the backstage area clutching a microphone of his own. Ana begins to backtrack and walk away, holding her hands up in the air innocently as Verona calls for his music to be cut. }Roberto Verona: Enough! This ends now!
{ Verona steps out of the way as security begins to flood down to the ring and towards Ana. }Roberto Verona: I’ve stayed quiet for months as you have run your mouth Ana and whilst your husband has continued to disrespect my authority because it fails to match his uncontrollable ambition. This is going to end, once and for all, at Legacy. You and Jess are going to settle this in the ring, where it should have been settled months ago. But I am going to add some insurance to this match, we’re going to have it inside a cell and let me make this perfectly clear, if anybody interferes on behalf of either of you their contract will be terminated with immediate effect and they will be permanently blacklisted from this company.
{ Roberto turns to look at Ana. }Roberto Verona: Now get them out of
my arena, if you see a single member of this movement remove them immediately.
{ Verona turns and walks to the backstage area as security does its best to try and get a handle of the situation as we cut to a commercial break. }----------------------------------------------------------
HEIR TO THE THRONE FINAL FLASHBACK 2014
Mike Laszlo vs Xavier Cross
----------------------------------------------------------
Vasco Dias: This match has been one month in the making. Mike Laszlo and Xavier Cross have fought through hellfire and brimstone to be here tonight, the last two men in the Heir to the Throne tournament. One of these two men will go on to face the IWF Imperial, or self proclaimed World Champion, the man formerly known as Angel Blake now referring to himself as God.
Terri Morasco: That’s one long name.
Vasco Dias: I don’t care who he thinks he is, he isn’t my god.
Terri Morasco: Couldn’t agree with you more and personally I don’t care who wins this match as long as either one of them take that belt off of Angel.
Vasco Dias: I’m with you there.
{ "Cult of Personality" by Living Colour hits the sound system, Mike Laszlo walking out onto the stage, followed by Alexis Caffrey, to a favored reaction from the crowd. Surveying those who cheer, a grin comes over his face as he heads for the ring with a confident walk, slapping hands with some fans along the isle who outstretch their hands, Alexis by his side holding his other hand. }Alison Valance: Making his way to the ring, accompanied to the ring by Alexis Caffrey, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing 237 pounds…MIIIIKE LASZLOOOOO!
{ The two get to the end of the ramp before Mike lifts Alexis onto the apron. She enters the ring as Mike rolls in under the bottom rope. He climbs the outside ropes to the top rope in the corner nearest the entrance ramp and poses for the crowd amassing a magnitude of cheers. He jumps down and goes to the opposite corner and does the same, garnering the same reaction. With a smile on his face he jumps down and backs into the corner, clasping his hands together and twirling his wrists as he gets ready for the match. }Vasco Dias: Mike Laszlo has been one of the few constants in IWF. He’s been here since day one, he’s scratched and clawed his way to several title opportunities, managing to bring home the Man of Steel title in a match against Sephiroth Du Lac.
Terri Morasco: Since then he’s been looking to break through that glass ceiling and finally grab what he feels is his destiny by the horns. Tonight could be the beginning of the end of that journey.
Vasco Dias: It’s truly been an inspirational story watching Mike Laszlo overcome great personal trials and tribulations, he’d make an excellent face of IWF.
{ The intro of "Immortal" starts playing, as smoke starts to well up at the top of the stage. When the drums and guitar kick in, Xavier pops out of the floor, hair dripping wet. He looks around in a daze for a moment, looking towards the crowd getting a mixed reaction. He takes a few steps forward, taking a deep inhale before marching down to the ring, slamming his hand onto his chest. }Alison Valance: "Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, coming to you from Lexington, Virginia....He stands at Six Feet...three inches, weighing in at Two-Hundred, and Thirty One pounds. Xavier.......CROOOOOSSSS!"
{ Cross stares at the ring for a second before marching up the steps, looking around he doesn’t enter through the apron but climbs the outside of the turnbuckle, standing tall as he looks around the arena a grin on his face. He slaps his chest three times before hopping into the ring. He kisses his middle and index finger, pointing them to the sky, before looking down, crossing each wrist to make an X, he slowly raises his arms up. Each post shoots a pyro cannon perpendicular to each other, creating a flaming X for a moment. Xavier moves to the corner, pulling himself on top of the turnbuckle, adjusting the tape on his wrists, waiting for the bell to ring and the match to begin. }Vasco Dias: Another man that is no stranger to hard work and dedication is Xavier Cross. The first IWF Heavy Weight Champion, the first man to hold any belt in IWF twice, he’s been teetering on the bring of main event status since day one.
Terri Morasco: Xavier Cross was taken out several months ago by Spike Kane[/quote][/b] only to return at Angel’s side but it appeared that was all a ruse to propel himself back into the spot light.
Vasco Dias: I’ve got no problem with a man doing what has to be done to succeed and succeed is what Xavier Cross has done here in IWF which is why it’s him in that ring with Mike Laszlo and not someone else.
Terri Morasco: Both men are extremely deserving of this shot.
{ Both men move out of their corners as the bell sounds. They slowly move to the center of the ring where they exchange hand shakes. }Vasco Dias: A rare show of sportsmanship.
Terri Morasco: That is what wrestling used to be about.
{ They back off and begin to dance around each other, sizing the other one up. The two of them move in and tie up in the middle of the ring. Xavier goes for the side head lock but Laszlo gets behind and goes for a rear waist lock but Cross reverse that and tries for a wrist lock but Mike spins him around and pushes him off. Mike charges Cross, Cross ducks and goes for a back body drop, Mike lands on his feet and spins around for a clothes line, Cross gets under it and looks for a neck breaker, Laszlo pushes him off and tries for a drop kick but Cross swats him out of the way. Cross runs at Mike but Laszlo catches him for an arm drag. Cross is right up to his feet and both men jump into the air for double drop kicks! }Vasco Dias: Two extremely technically gifted wrestlers who have each other well scouted.
Terri Morasco: Neither one is picking up the early advantage here but both look to be in top form.
{ The two of them are right up to their feet and lock up. Laszlo pushes Cross into the corner but Cross reverse him into the corner and hits a gut kick. Cross lunges with a clothes line but Laszlo moves and Cross hits the turn buckles. Mike grabs him from around the waist and tries for a German suplex but Cross manages to roll off his shoulders and looks for a German of his own, Mike also lands on his feet and grabs Cross by the head, he goes to slam his head into the turn buckles but Cross blocks it and sends an elbow into Laszlo’s jaw. Cross spins around and swings for the fences but Laszlo takes him over with a hip toss. Cross springs right back to his feet and the two of them charge each other for a double clothes line! }Vasco Dias: This is amazing back and forth action we’re seeing from two of the top wrestlers in the industry today.
Terri Morasco: I’m just waiting for the big move that’s going to give one of these men the advantage.
{ Both of them get to their feet and Cross tries to lock up with Laszlo but Laszlo swings behind Cross and pulls him down into back slide pin. ONE! KICK OUT! They both get up and Cross hits a quick kick to the mid section and follows up with the BST combo that culminates with standing shooting star press into a pin ONE! KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: A couple of quick pin fall attempts but only for one counts.
Terri Morasco: Absolutely way too much gas left in the tanks for this one to end so quickly.
{ Cross is up and pulls Laszlo to his feet but Laszlo throws Cross’ arms off of him and hits him with a jawbreaker. Laszlo pops up and hoists Cross into the air and brings him down hard for NO MERCY! Laszlo goes for the cover. ONE! KICK OUT! Laszlo pulls Cross up and throws him hard into the corner. Laszlo runs in and Cross throws up both boot heels into his jaw. Cross explodes out of the corner and connects with a massive clothes line that sends Laszlo spinning over backward. Cross runs across the ring and bounces off the opposing turn buckle, Laszlo gets to his feet just in time to catch a running kick to the face! Cross is quick to climb the ropes and leap off the top with Heaven’s Tribute Elbow drop! }Vasco Dias: A big time elbow drop!
{ Cross hooks the leg. ONE! KICK OUT! }Terri Morasco: But there wasn’t enough behind it.
{ Cross pulls Laszlo up and throws him into the ropes, he ducks down for the back drop and Laszlo kicks him right in the chest and then Welcomes him to the CLE! With the double underhook back breaker! Laszlo looks for the quick cover and hooks the leg. ONE! KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: Both men are pulling out their trade mark moves relatively early on in this match.
Terri Morasco: But nothing is sticking as they keep kicking out at one.
{ Laszlo pulls Cross up to his feet but Cross fires off an elbow to his mid section and runs across the rings where he bounces off the ropes and comes back with a diving shoulder block. Both men pop back up and Laszlo misses a clothes line attempt and Cross picks him up for an atomic drop and then drops him into a dragon sleeper back breaker over his knee. Cross bounces off the ropes and comes back across the ring looking for a knee across Laszlo’s chest but Mike moves. Cross tries to pop back up but Laszlo is right there with the swinging neck breaker. Laszlo stays right on him as he pulls Cross up and sends him flying into the corner. Laszlo dives in with a stinger splash and then pulls Cross up into the air for a brain buster! }Vasco Dias: Laszlo and Cross, Cross and Laszlo, neither of them are capable of staying in control for very long.
Terri Morasco: The action has just been back and forth, Cross hits a few combos and Laszlo follows it right up with a few moves of his own.
Vasco Dias: Technical wrestling at it’s best.
{ Laszlo looks for the cover and ONE! TW-KICK OUT! Laszlo peels Cross off the mat and pushes him back into the corner. Laszlo charges in but Cross drops the shoulder and hits the shoulder block again. Cross wraps his arms around the waist of Mike Laszlo and belly to belly overhead suplexs him right into the turnbuckles! Cross is right up and Laszlo pulls himself up on the ropes and Cross bounces off the ropes with a spring board and hits the Phoenix Driver ddt! Cross rolls him right over into a cover. ONE! TW-KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: And another kickout after that Phoenix Driver.
{ Cross pulls Laszlo up, Laszlo lunges forward Russian leg sweep out of no where. Laszlo rolls over on top of Cross and locks in the Crippler Crossface. Xavier reaches for the ropes as Laszlo wrenches back hard on him. }Terri Morasco: Laszlo has that crossface locked in tight.
Vasco Dias: And Xavier has no where to go!
{ Laszlo keeps pulling back and Cross digs his nails into the mat and tries to claw himself forward with one hand while pushing with his feet. }Vasco Dias: Cross is digging deep to try and reach those ropes.
Terri Morasco: It’s that or tap, he has no other choice.
{ Xavier drags himself within inches of the ropes, Laszlo pulls back, Xavier’s neck is angled in an ungodly position as he reaches and reaches and reaches and FINALLY GRABS THE ROPES! }Vasco Dias: HE GOT THE ROPES!
{ Cross pulls himself out onto the apron after Laszlo breaks the hold. Laszlo jumps up and bounces off the ropes and comes flying back across the ring as Cross gets to his feet on the apron, Laszlo goes for a diving spear but CROSS MOVES!!!! }Vasco Dias: LASZLO CRASHES AND BURNS ON THE OUTSIDE!!!
Terri Morasco: That’s a game changer right there, if Cross can take advantage of the situation he could have this match won.
Vasco Dias: He needs to keep pressing his advantage.
{ Laszlo is laid out on the floor right now nursing his right shoulder as Cross walks over to the ring post and makes the climb to the top rope. }Vasco Dias: Cross is taking a huge risk here.
Terri Morasco: It could pay off!
{ Xavier stands up on the top rope and the crowd loses their mind as he leaps to the outside and hits Heaven’s Tribute elbow drop right onto the prone Mike Laszlo!!! }Vasco Dias: OH MY GOD!!!
{ Cross pulls himself right up to a huge pop and grabs Laszlo by the hair, he rolls him into the ring and rushes in after him where he hooks his leg for the cover. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: AND THE KICK OUT!
{ Cross pulls Laszlo right up off the mat and whips him across the ring into the corner. Cross sprints across the ring but Laszlo kicks his feet up into the face of Xavier Cross and rushes out of the corner with a running bull dog. }Terri Morasco: Laszlo turned the momentum right back around on Xavier Cross.
Vasco Dias: These two men have each other so well scouted it’s amazing.
{ Laszlo is slow to get up and is still favoring his shoulder as he does so. Cross is up and Laszlo looks for a left hand but Cross gets under it and lifts him up into a belly to beck back breaker! Laszlo lays on the mat in obvious pain as Cross grabs the ropes and jumps into the air and comes down with a double foot stomp to the back of Laszlo’s head. }Vasco Dias: A double foot stomp right there could cause some serious brain damage.
Terri Morasco: These guys are putting it all on the line just for the chance to face the Imperial Champion, their bodies, their lives, all they care about tonight is the win.
{ Cross smiles as he pulls Mike up to his feet, he goes to pull him up into the Nazi Hunter but Laszlo locks his foot around Cross’ ankle and then fires off a fore arm shiver. Cross staggers and hits a big right hand, Mike responds with a left hook, Cross with a right, Laszlo with a left, Cross with a right that Laszlo ducks and he pulls Cross down into an inverted face buster. Laszlo pulls Cross right back up and hoists him ankles first onto the top rope and then pulls him off with the Executioner! Mike quickly makes the cover. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: Laszlo hit the Executioner off the ropes but it just wasn’t enough to put Cross away.
Terri Morasco: There is too much on the line right now!
{ Mike gets right back to his feet, he tries to loosen his shoulder up as Cross pulls himself up on the ropes. Mike charges Cross, Cross ducks and back drops Laszlo over the ropes, Laszlo lands on the apron and blocks a shot from Cross, Laszlo grabs Cross and pulls him up into the air with a stalling vertical suplex on the ring apron before dropping him to the outside onto the arena floor! }Vasco Dias: VERTICAL SUPLEX TO THE OUTSIDE!
{ Laszlo lays still for a few moments as the fans cheer the both of them on. He rolls over onto his stomach and gets to his feet. Laszlo staggers as he grabs Cross and stands him up. Cross comes back to life suddenly when he grabs Laszlo and ddt’s him right into the ring barrier! }Terri Morasco: Wicked ddt!
Vasco Dias: Absolutely going to kill some brain cells with that one.
{ Cross is very slow to his feet, he pulls Laszlo up as well and throws him into the ring apron. Cross hits a stiff kick and pulls Mike up into power bomb position and hits a running power bomb right into the ring post, crushing Laszlo’s shoulder! }Vasco Dias: Running power bomb!
Terri Morasco: Cross is digging deep, looking for that one move to put Laszlo away.
{ Laszlo lays against the ring post as Xavier backs up then runs down the side of the ring and looks for knee to the face, LASZLO MOVES! CROSS KNEES THE POST! }Vasco Dias: OH! Xavier Cross could of just shattered his knee cap!
{ Cross goes right down holding his knee as Laszlo steadily pulls himself up and rolls into the ring. Laszlo climbs up the ropes in the corner and stands on the top rope. Cross stumbles to his feet and is clearly favoring his right knee as pulls himself half way down the ring apron. Cross turns and looks up just as Laszlo dives off the top rope to the outside and catches Cross with a DDT! }Vasco Dias: OH MY GOD!
Terri Morasco: DIVING DDT TO THE OUTSIDE!
Vasco Dias: They are literally taking years off of each other’s lives.
Terri Morasco: All for a single shot at the Imperial Championship
{ Both men lay there for several very long moments, Laszlo is the first to pull himself up and roll into the ring, Cross follows him shortly after. Laszlo lays in three hard stomps to Cross’ back before pulling him up and hits MALICIOUS INTENT!!! }Vasco Dias: MALICIOUS INTENT! MALICIOUS INTENT!
{ Laszlo drops down and covers Cross, ONE! TWO! THRE-KICK OUT!!! }Vasco Dias: HE KICKED OUT!? HOW DID HE KICK OUT!?
Terri Morasco: Pure willpower…
{ Laszlo can’t believe it as he rolls onto his back. }Vasco Dias: Laszlo must be questioning himself right now.
Terri Morasco: He’s literally hit Cross with everything he has.
{ Laszlo pulls himself up by the ropes and demands that Cross get to his feet. Cross is slow, labored, he pulls himself up on the ropes and Laszlo runs at him, Cross moves and Laszlo hits the turn buckles. Cross unloads a series of right hands before driving his knee into the mid section of Laszlo, he spins him around and rips his feet out from under him and drops Laszlo face first into the turn buckles. Cross backs up and runs in to complete the Afternoon Delight with stomp to the back of Mike’s head! }Vasco Dias: AFTER NOON DELIGHT!
Terri Morasco: That has got to be it, no way Laszlo kicks out of that.
{ Cross is slow but he turns Laszlo over and covers him. ONE! TWO! THREE!!! }Vasco Dias: HE DID IT! XAVIER CROSS HAS DONE IT!!!
{ Cross pops up as the crowd goes crazy and throws his arms up into the air. }Vasco Dias: I don’t believe it!
{ But the referee is pointing at Mike Laszlo’s foot that’s on the ropes! }Terri Morasco: NO! It’s not over! Laszlo’s foot was on the ropes!
Vasco Dias: What!
{ Xavier Cross drops to his knees, he still thinks he’s won, the referee is trying to tell him as Laszlo pulls himself up to his feet, Laszlo runs up behind him and hits a roll over neck breaker on the seat Cross and quickly covers him! }Vasco Dias: THIS IS IT!
{ ONE TWO! KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: NO!!!
{ Laszlo is up and he pulls Cross back up but Cross hits a sit out jaw breaker and then pops up off the mat with a European upper cut. Cross throws Laszlo into the corner and runs in with the knee! Cross looks for the running bull dog but Laszlo pushes him off into the other corner and connects with his own knee! Laszlo looks for the bull dog now but Cross throws his hips for a release German suplex! }Vasco Dias: We’re right back to where we started!
Terri Morasco: Both men are putting it all on the line for this one win!
{ Cross is right up and tries to cover but Laszlo kicks right out and rolls Cross up who also kicks right out. Both men pop up back to their feet and Laszlo gets under the right hand and picks Cross up DRAGON SUPLEX! }Vasco Dias: Where did that come from!?
Terri Morasco: No idea.
{ Mike staggers to his feet and begs Cross to stand up, he does and Mike spins him around and lifts him up for MALICIOUS INTENT! Laszlo covers and ONE! TWO! THREE!!! }Vasco Dias: Mike Laszlo has done it! He’s won the Heir to the Throne and a shot at Angel next month!
Terri Morasco: That match was awesome! Cross and Laszlo put on a real show tonight and I think proved that IWF is truly the best wrestling in the world!
Vasco Dias: Absolutely! And Mike Laszlo may very well be the best in the world!
{ The referee has Laszlo’s hand held high as he’s announced as the winner when suddenly the lights in the arena go out. }Vasco Dias: No! Tha-
{ The commentators microphones go to static, after severalong moments in darkness fire erupts from all four ring posts, Mike Laszlo can be seen standing in the center of the ring as a voice booms over the sound system. }GOD: HEAR ME NOW IWF! I am the one true GOD. I am the beginning and the end. The Alpha and the Omega. I AM THE ONLY! This promotion, that ring and the IWF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP all belong to ME!
{ Laszlo is still turning around in circles as the flames seem to rise higher out of the posts. }GOD: False prophets come and go but I am ETERNAL! I am FOREVER! I was there in the beginning, I will be there in the end. Mike Laszlo you have done well to earn yourself a shot at MY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! Congratulations my child, it will be my pleasure to face you in MY ring.
{ Laszlo glares defiantly toward the back. }GOD: But know this, in MY Age of X it is Survival of the Fittest and there are none more fit than I!
{ The pyro explodes again as Laszlo readies himself for a fight, Angel and The brothers black start to come down to the ring. As they get to the base of the ramp they stop as the crowd cheers, Roberto Verona slides in the ring!. He leaps up and hits Cross with his version of the codebreaker!. Cross goes down and Verona and Laszlo lock eyes. Verona stands over Cross and raises Mike's hand as the show closes }----------------------------------------------------------
HEIR TO THE THRONE FINAL
Malaki Toala vs Jack Gaither
----------------------------------------------------------
{"Warrior" by Disturbed blasts out of the speaker as Joey Leroux and Malaki Toala step out from behind the curtains to a chorus of cheers. Malaki stands still as Joey walks confidently and cock-surely a few feet away before he begins to perform the Siva Tau Samoan war dance before letting out a large roar as pyro explodes either side of him. Marching down to the ring with intent Joey psyches up the big man whilst arrogantly insulting the crowd, despite the fact they're cheering him, on their way to the ring. As they reach the apron Malaki lifts himself up as he climbs into the ring whilst Joe begins to circle clapping and both psyching and winding up the crowd into a frenzy.}Terri Morasco: This is it! The 2015 Heir to the Throne Series concludes with the final match! One of these men—either Jack Gaither or Malaki Toala—is gonna leave Mexico City with a shot at Renee Pleasant's Imperial title at Legacy—
Vasco Dias: And the other's simply gonna wind up bein' a court jester.
Terri Morasco: Everyone expected Malaki Toala to get to this point, and he appears to be the heavy favorite comin' in.
Vasco Dias: Yeah, but he's had the Imperial and Man of Steel titles in his IWF career—only to fumble 'em away when it mattered the most.
{The familiar screech of an eagle is heard, and a burst of pyro goes off as Rage Against the Machine's "Bulls On Parade" kicks into high gear. Within the plumes of white smoke, a lone spotlight shines brightly as the figure of Jack Gaither appears on-stage, his head covered by a gleaming silver mask featuring blue and gold trims on all sides. Wearing a sports jersey and all silver tights with a pattern of gold and blue flames on both sides--not to mention blue boots with silver tassels--the "Golden Eagle" quickly springs down to ringside, high-fiving random folks along the way. As he approaches the ring, Jack takes off his mask and gives it to a lucky fan. A cannon goes off just as the lights come back on en masse.}Terri Morasco: Did ANYONE expect Jack Gaither to be in this match?! Personally, I didn't think so—and perhaps the entire IWF social media crazies would agree with me.
Vasco Dias: Yeah they would...to a fault. Anyways, after havin' to watch Fifi McFlaps get carted off to the funny farm, I'm sure Jack's gotta be in a distracted state.
Terri Morasco: Au contraire, mon ami. Jack's done a lot to overcome the odds throughout his entire life just to get here. People said he was too small to be a good quarterback on the gridiron, yet he proved them wrong. People said he was too fallable to be a lead singer in a moderately successful indie rock band, but he showed them who was boss. People said that he only cared about himself instead of the ones he loved when it comes to wrestling, and I KNOW that's the farthest thing from the truth.
Vasco Dias: Spoken like a homer, huh?
{The referee checks both Jack and Malaki to make sure that there isn't gonna be any shenanigans from both parties before calling for the bell.}[DING!]
Vasco Dias: Welp...here we go!
Terri Morasco: Ex-gridiron star versus ex-rugby standout—with a chance to headline Legacy up for grabs!
{The two men are engaged in a staredown as the mostly 70-30 pro-Jack crowd cheers for the smaller Texan as he locks up with the much bigger Samoan. This proves to be futile for Jack as he's immediately backed into the corner; the ref calls for the clean break, to which Toala does as he's told. The two men lock up again, and once more the ex-QB is backed up into the corner. Instead of a clean break, however, Malaki goes to work on Jack, thrusting his shoulders into his opponent's midsection before sending him for the ride. Jack bounces off the ropes and into a clothesline; the Texan kips back up to his feet—only to be stopped cold courtesy of a belly-to-belly suplex...followed by a second and a trifecta! Toala goes for the cover as Joey Leroux looks on with a sly grin on his face.}1...!
2...!!
NOPE!!!
{The former Imperial and Man of Steel champ goes back on the offense, putting Jack back to his feet before shoving back into the corner. After a couple more shoulder thrusts, Toala backs up and flattens Gaither with a running splash! Jack stumbles and bumbles around the ring for a moment before falling flat on his face as Joey grins.}Vasco Dias: Looks like the fat rugby dude is leveling the smallish gridiron starlet out there.
Terri Morasco: Malaki ain't fat, Vasco. He's big, strong, and he's got Jack in his sights.
{Malaki picks Jack up off the deck and places him into a fireman's carry. The mainly pro-Gaither crowd gasps as Jack is planted to the mat via a sitout powerslam and pinning combination—much to the delight of Joey Leroux and the small, yet boisterous, contingent of Toala diehards who flew in from Samoa just to see this match!}1...!
2...!!
KICKOUT!!!
{Toala shakes his head as Leroux does the same thing over the zebra's counting, but the big fellow goes back on the attack, placing Jack in a bearhug that would make Bob Barker cringe! The official asks Jack if he wants to give up, but the North Texan springs to life, boxing his opponent's ears out with his hands and breaking up the hold! Jack bounds back and charges forward, nailing Malaki with a hard clothesline—and a second! The Samoan staggers around the ring and into a Gaither-approved dropkick—then a second and a third to complete the hat trick! Toala slowly picks himself off the ground and charges at his opponent, only to be met with a shocking German suplex that shakes the ring!}1...!
2...!!
NOPE!!!
{Toala firmly powers out of the pin and pulls himself up in the corner; he makes a charge, but this proves futile as Jack stuns him with a heavily-modified headscissor takedown that flips the former champ head over heels!}Terri Morasco: Wow!
Vasco Dias: You're tellin' me! Where'd he get this bit of strength from?!
{Malaki slowly pulls himself back to a vertical base by using the ropes; the Arlington native awaits him at every step of the way, picking up the big man and raising him high up in the air to the crowd's delight!}Vasco Dias: WHOA! WHOA! WHOA!
Terri Morasco: Wow..and all Joey Leroux can do is watch his client go down!
{Indeed, Joey musters a large gulp as Toala is sent down to the canvas with a Jack-endorsed stalling vertical suplex that shakes the ring again! Yet Jack can only place his left arm over his opponent's chest—for the move has done a bit of damage to his lower back!}1...!
2...!!
KICKOUT!!!
Vasco Dias: Jack Gaither's a moron for picking up a man who's 120 pounds bigger than him!
Terri Morasco: Give the man credit for tryin' SOMETHING different.
{Jack grimaces in pain, holding his lower back as he struggles to pull himself back together. Meanwhile, Leroux is practically screaming bloody murder for his charge to get back up as well; Malaki is the first to get to his feet as Jack is still on all fours. With a battle roar, Toala heads toward his stricken rival and picks him up, planting him to the canvas with a jackhammer!}Vasco Dias: Goodbye!
{Malaki goes for the pin...}1...!
2...!!
THREEEEEE-NO!! NO!!
{Joey Leroux is beside himself, opting to hop onto the apron and scream at the striped shirt, who calmly holds up two fingers and threatens to eject him from ringside if he doesn't calm down! The Samoan preps the Texan for a second jackhammer, but Jack squirms out, gets behind his larger opponent, and applies a reverse full nelson! Disregarding the fact that his back is killing him, Jack arcs forward—taking the 300-pounder on his spine and pinning his shoulders to the mat with a sleek nelson pin!}1...!
2...!!
NO! NO!! NO!!!
{The larger Gaither army groans as the small group of Toala supporters cheer. Jack shakes his head, favoring his lower back as he climbs up to the top rope, eager to put an end to this match once and for all!}Vasco Dias: Uh-oh...the praying mantis pose!
Terri Morasco: Mantis Kick comin' up!
{Yet as Jack flies off the top rope, Toala catches him in midair before planting him to the deck with his front powerslam he calls ENTER THE RED ZONE!! The Gaither fans all sit down, for they know what's coming next...}1...!
2...!!
THREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!
[DING-DING-DING!!!]
{“Warrior” plays once more as Malaki's army erupts in cheers; Jack shakes his head, wondering what went wrong as the Samoan pats him on the shoulders in an act of good sportsmanship.}Vasco Dias: Welp...there ya go.
Terri Morasco: Malaki Toala has earned the right to face Renee Pleasant at Legacy as the Heir to the Throne for 2015! Jack Gaither gave it a fun ride but fell just flat!

HEIRESS TO THE THRONE FINAL FLASHBACK 2013
Jessica Reed vs Kathleen Conway
----------------------------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: It's the moment we've all been waiting for. The IWF Heiress to the throne FINALS!!!! This match will determine the first ever Diamond's Champion!
Vasco Dias: We saw both Kathy Conway and Jessica Reed fight through two extremely brutal matches to get here tonight and now one of them will walk away as the first ever Diamond's Champion.
Terri Morasco: I'd be lying if I said I didn't have goose bumps going into this. I am very excited as should both Kathy and Jess. Earlier tonight we saw Kathy fight for the honor of her sister as she waged war with Eternity. Eternity it seems gave Kathy that little extra something to push her into position to claim her first major title in her career!
{ The lights in the arena start to twinkle like diamonds, green, purple and red with the melodic holler and drum beat of ''Black and Silver" by Xandria. The chords of an organ punctuate the words as Kathleen Conway appears on the stage with one hand on her right hip and her husband, The Ace by her side. She begins her walk down the ramp, alongside her huband, Kathy has a smile on her face. At the foot of the ramp the couple share a kiss before Kathy gets to the ring and climbs on to the apron with her back to the ropes, she drops to one knee. She holds onto the ropes behind her as she flips her hair to the side and winks at The Ace before standing up and climbing through the middle rope into the ring. She walks to the middle and flips her hair again with a hand on her hip as the lights return to normal and the music fades. }Vasco Dias: Kathy looks as ready as she's ever going to be after her match earlier tonight.
Terri Morasco: Absolutely. Luckily for her, Jessica Reed had a pretty tough opponent herself that she was able to overcome to get here!
{ "Die Young" by Ke$ha hits the PA as Jessica Reed steps out to a huge roar from the crowd. She looks all around and smiles before running down to the ring and sliding in under the bottom rope. She jumps up and throws up her fist up in the air! }Terri Morasco: If Jess is spent from earlier you wouldn't be able to tell because she looks pumped and ready to go!
Vasco Dias: She looks ready but once that bell rings and these two start going at it I'm sure the fatigue will set in.
{ The bell sounds and Kathy moves slowly out of her corner, sizing up Jess. Kathy goes to lock up with her but Jess gets underneath her arms and goes right to the ropes where she spring boards off and catches Kathy with a flying forearm! Kathy stumbles back as Jess hits the ropes and comes back with a running shoulder block that sends Kathy to the mat. Kathy gets up quick and Jess hits another spring board and nails KAthy with a drop kick that sends her rolling over backward. Kathy tries to get up but Jess is on her with a running drop kick that sends Kathy rolling to the outside of the ring. Jess is right up, grabs the top rope and sling shots herself up and over and catches Kathy with a flying cross body! }Terri Morasco: Jessica Reed is all over the place tonight!
Vasco Dias: Amazing she still has this kind of pep!
{ Jess is right up and backs into the crowd to get a shot with some fans before running over and pulling Kathy up to her feet. She rolls Kathy into the ring and follows her in. Jess runs over Kathy, spring boards off the ropes and Kat gets up just in time to catch Jess in mid air with a SPEAR! Kathy mounts Jessica and begins to unload some rights and lefts of Jessica Reed! Kathy rolls off of Jess, pulls her up to her feet, hooks her around the shoulder and throws her over with a snap vertical suplex. Kathy gets back up and rips Jess off the mat and sends her into the corner. Kathy runs in with a clothes line in the corner then rams her shoulder into the midsection of Jessica before wrapping her around the waist and throwing her over head with a belly to belly suplex and bridging for a pin! ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }Vasco Dias: Kathy is making a come back here and nearly ended the match already1
Terri Morasco: Jessica isn't going to back down here.
{ Kathy pulls Jess back up and spins her around and grabd her again for a release German suplex! Jessica looks in serious pain now as her back has taken a beating the last few mintues. Kathy charges Jess and drops an elbow across her back before getting to her feet and pulling Jess up and right into a BACKBREAKER! Kathy smirks to herself as she looks at the fallen Jessica Reed. Jess starts to push herself up off the mat and Kathy comes off the ropes with the FAMEACER! Kathy rolls Jess over and covers. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! }Terri Morasco: Jessica Reed is in a bad way here, she needs to start mounting some offense before it's too late.
Vasco Dias: I told you the fatigue was going to set in. She came into this match a head full of steam and now she is out of gas.
{ Kathy pulls Jess up and lifts her into the air for the Kat Nap but Jess throws her legs back and lands on her feet and catches Kathy off guard with a stiff kick to the stomach and a DDT! Jess gets up as fast as she can, Kathy right behind her. Jessica connects with a leaping enzugiri that sends Kathy stumbling into the corner. Jess runs in with the shining wizard running knee followed right up with the bull dog out of the corner! Jess is right up, turns and hits the standing shooting star press!!! She covers Kathy. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! Jessica gets up, hits the ropes. Kathy leaps to her feet and looks for a clothes line and Jessica gets under it, spring boards off the ropes and connects with a tornado ddt! Jessica gets up, heads to the corner and climbs up as fast as she can. Jess looks down and leaps off with the ROFLCopter! KATHY MOVES!!! }Vasco Dias: Just missed with the ROFLCopter!
Terri Morasco: Oh, so close to putting Kathy away right there.
Vasco Dias: That is exactly why I hate high fliers.
{ Kathy is up, Jess tries to stand and Kathy hits her with a double axe handle that sends her down to the mat. Jess springs back up and Kathy hits several knife edge chops and drives Jess back into the corner. Kathy grabs the ropes and starts to hit some high knee lifts on Jess in the corner. She hits six before she allows Jess to slump out of the corner. Kathy grabs her around the waist and lifts her into the air with a pump handle slam right onto the mat. Kathy covers her. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! Kathy looks for a submission attempt know and locks Jess into the four leaf clover! }Terri Morasco: Oh no, this could be all over!
Vasco Dias: Kathy is one of the best technical Diamonds on the roster and she's got Jessica right where she wants her.
{ Jessica screams in the middle of the ring as Kathy keeps the hold locked in. Slowly Jessica begins to claw at the mat and pulls herself closer to the ropes as Kathy tries to keep her in the center of the ring. Jessica makes it to the ropes and the ref counts to four before breaking the hold. Kathy gets up and shakes her head as Jess roles to the outside. Kathy follows her out and grabs Jessica by the hair and spins her around and slams her face first into the ring post. Jess tumbles and Kathy picks her up in a bear hug and runs her into the post, further hurting her back. Jessica drops to her knees and Kathy connects with a running boot! }Terri Morasco: Jessica Reed is falling apart right now.
Vasco Dias: Kathy Conway is breaking this woman's body and her will and soon enough she will be walking away as our Diamond's Champion.
Terri Morasco: I can't argue with you there.
{ Kathy pulls Jess up and rams her into the guard rails back first and then whips her into the apron. Kathy rolls Jessica back into the ring and follows her in. Jessica crawls on the mat as Kathy looks to the corner. She smiles as she climbs the corner. }Vasco Dias: What is she doing?
Terri Morasco: Looks like she wants to add some insult to injury here.
{ Kathy signals for the Fameacer off the top rope as Jess struggles to stand. Kathy jumps off and Jessica turns just in time to catch Kathy in mid air with a DROP KICK!!!! }Terri Morasco: OH! You can't ever count Jessica Reed out. Both women want this belt so badly!
{ Jessica gets to her feet as Kathy rolls around in pain. Kathy starts to get up and Jessica comes off the ropes with a running neckbreaker! Jessica goes to the ropes again and spring boards off with a moonsult and hooks the leg. ONE! TWO! KICK OUT! Jessica gets right back up and Kathy is trying to stand as Jessica comes off the ropes with a running clothes line and then a running drop kick to the legs! Kathy drops down and Jess comes off the ropes with a cork screw elbow drop! }Terri Morasco: Jessica is mounting the come back here!
Vasco Dias: Kathy is in trouble she needs to get back in control of this match and ground Reed.
{ Kathy staggers to her feet and catches Jessica off guard with a tilt a whirl back breaker as she comes off the ropes! Kathy stumbles and drops to a knee. Jessica is slow to her feet. Kathy grabs her from behind in a choke hold, trying to turn it into a chicken wing. Jessica fights her as best she can as Kathy chokes the life out of her. }Vasco Dias: Here we go, control the pace of the match, keep her off the ropes.
{ Jessica breaks an arm free and begins to drive her elbow into the side of the head of Kathy over and over and over again. Kathy lets go. Jess hits the ropes and both women collide in the middle of the ring with clothes lines! Both women are down now as the crowd "OOOOH" at the collision. }Terri Morasco: Oh my god, this is either woman's match if they can just get to their feet.
Vasco Dias: This match is close to over, I can feel it. Neither woman has much left to give.
{ Jessica is slow to her feet but she's the first up. Kathy is still down, worn out. Jessica climbs the ropes and looks down as the crowd goes wild. Jessica leaps off with another leg drop and this time Kathy doesn't move as Jessica connects square in the middle of the ring. With literally nothing left she just lays limp on top of Kathy and ONE! TWO! THREE!!!! }Terri Morasco: JESSICA REED HAS DONE IT!!!!!
Vasco Dias: WE'VE GOT OUR FIRST DIAMOND'S CHAMPION!!!!
{ The ref holds Jessica's hand up and gives her the Diamond's championship. She isn't even fully aware of whats happened yet. }Terri Morasco: What an intensely hard fought battle between Jessica Reed and Kathy Conway but in the end, Jessica Reed just managed to beat Kathy Conway and become our first Diamond's Champion. What an amazing match.
Vasco Dias: Truly one of the best matches of the night and next we name our first Imperial Champion. Crazy!
{ Jessica finally comes too and sees the belt in her hands for the first time and begins to cry with joy as gold confetti falls down on her. She clutches the belt tightly and looks up at the sky and seems to be mouthing to herself before suddenly Tifa Heafy comes rushing down the ramp where she dives in and hugs her best friend who is incredibly emotional. The crowd start to chant Jess' name as she just breaks down again as she waves to them, clearly overcome by the fulfilment of a lifelong dream. }----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT
"Come On Down"
----------------------------------------------------------
{Backstage, Maria Iniesta is with Mercedes Vargas for an interview. The former Ruby Champion is ready to roll as her match with Paige Garcia was moments away.}Maria Iniesta: Joining me at this time is the opponent who will be facing Paige Garcia moments from now, Mercedes Vargas, Mercedes, there seems to be a lot of publicity, good and bad, coming your way in the last few months, whether it's from former IWF Imperial Champions like Alex Jones to Roberto Verona to various talents in the Diamonds Division. It appears you've gotten under the skin of Paige Garcia, your opponent tonight, as she isn't much of a fan and said as much ahead of your match tonight. What do you have to say in response?
Mercedes Vargas: I'm kind of surprised, to be honest. I was under the impression that most people usually ignored me and just went about their daily business up to now but apparently I was wrong. I felt that what I said in my promo was fairly accurate and wasn't something I pulled out of thin air, they're facts. I didn't think my words would eventually lead to her attempting to end my career tonight. I hear all the cool kids are doing it now, but that's just my irrelevant opinion.
Maria Iniesta: I think your “irrelevant opinions” is what's causing such a stir in the Diamonds Division and IWF as a whole. Do you enjoy doing this? Sending these verbal salvos and trying to sell the fight and getting under the skin of your opponent?
Mercedes Vargas: Well, you know, I think I'm doing a public service. Most people find my delivery boring, and that's fine. To the people who are having trouble sleeping at night, they've finally found an answer that's better than taking medication. For those who have finally found purpose in life, they now have a reason to be pissed off. Either way, when I hear people like Paige wanting to end my career, that only brings a smile to my face. The success rate hasn't been very good lately, but when has that stopped them before, right?
{Mercedes seems amused than afraid that her career was in jeopardy from her opponent. Tossing her hair back, she continues.}Mercedes Vargas: Never in a million years did I think my career would lead up to this moment. Life is good. I mean, I have my own hashtag, I've gotten favorable mentions from former IWF Imperial Champions like Alex Jones and even the COO of the company. What more, the Diamonds Division has made a game of trying to see who will try and end my career first. With the hatred that Amber and Ana get on an almost daily basis, I don't think I've ever heard anyone wanting to end their careers. Isn't that crazy?
{She gives off a casual shrug and smiles as Maria is ready to wrap this interview.}Maria Iniesta: Any final words before you head out for your match?
Mercedes Vargas: Don't I always?
{Mercedes turns to the camera.}Mercedes Vargas: So Paige, you want to be THE ONE tonight to send me off? Well, win, lose, or draw tonight, all I have to say to you is: COME OOOOOOOON DOOOOOWN! YOU'RE THE NEXT CONTESTANT ON 'END MERCEDES' CAREER!'
{Mercedes walks off the set laughing, then goes into some tangent of Spanish before the scene fades.}----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Paige Garcia vs Mercedes Vargas
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following is scheduled for one fall…
{“Over You” by Girlicious plays throughout the arena. Seventeen seconds into the song, Paige and Sara come out to a negative reaction as they holds their hand in the air above their heads, their index fingers pointed down at themselves as they do a quick spin around before walking down to the ring, talking themselves up to all of those in attendance and everyone watching at home.}Alison Valance: Accompanied to the ring by her sister Sara, from San Diego, California, weighing 126 pounds…PAIGE Garcia!
{The two sisters jump up on the apron, posing for the crowd, showing off their beauty before each sitting on the middle rope and swinging their legs to the left, pulling the rest of their bodies in as well. They pose again for the crowd who boo as the two talk strategy for the match.}Vasco Dias: Talk about a girl with momentum.
Terri Morasco: She did defeat the Richards sisters and Eliza in a two week span.
Alison Valance: And her opponent…
{Suddenly, the arena lights turn off and the crowd is hyped up for what was in store. As the opening of “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me” by U2 blares across the PA system, the mood of the crowd changes instantly and the arena is under the subtle glowing of the lights. As the lyrics finally kick in, a figure emerges; the highlight of their attire is being under the illusion. Mercedes Vargas stops short of the entrance ramp, hands on waist, and overlooking the crowd.} Alison Valance: Making her way to the ring, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, weighing in at 127 pounds…MERCEEEEEDEEEES VAAAARGAAAAS!
{Cheers, boos and catcalls soon greet her. Oblivious and yet satisfied with their reaction for several seconds, she flips her long hair, then makes her way to the ring. As she goes up the steps and walks to the end of the ring apron, she climbs to the turnbuckle, then turns her head back and stares over at the Garcias.}Terri Morasco: Mercedes couldn’t quite make it to the finals this year, repeating her position in last year’s Heiress to the Throne.
Vasco Dias: She’s all talk, just like Paige said during the week.
{The two women get in the center of the ring and start talking trash to one another in the center. Paige then hauls off and shoves Mercedes who shoves back. Paige slaps her across the face then ducks the retort, hitting Mercedes with a huge forearm that levels the former Ruby Champion.}Terri Morasco: What a shot!
Vasco Dias: She laid her out…maybe we won’t have to hear her again.
{Paige goes for the quick cover but only gets a two-ish count before Mercedes kicks out.}Terri Morasco: It will take more than that.
Vasco Dias: Paige has what it takes.
{Paige lifts Mercy to her feet and throws her into the ropes. She goes to clothesline Mercy who ducks and heads into the opposite ropes. Paige ducks her head and gets grabbed by her hair and thrown back into the mat for her troubles, her head bouncing off the mat hard. As she gets up, Mercy levels her with a clothesline, followed by another. She tries for a third but Paige ducks and heads into the ropes, again looking for a clothesline of her own, but Mercy leans back with a matrix bend. Vasco Dias: Just like Mercedes, Paige is a tough cookie…she’s hotter too.
{Mercy lifts Paige before kicking her in the gut and planting her right back down with a DDT! She gets up and stalks Paige who is slow to her feet. HEIRESS TO THE THRONE FINAL FLASHBACK 2014
Amber Richards vs Mercedes Vargas
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Vance: The following match is the Heiress to the throne final!. The winner will become the number one contender for the IWF Diamonds Championship
{Your ordinary entrance, try not to make it too long} Suddenly, the arena lights turn off and the crowd is hyped up for what was in store. Mercedes Vargas stops short of the entrance ramp, hands on waist, and overlooking the crowd.
Cheers, boos and catcalls soon greet her. Oblivious and yet satisfied with their reaction for several seconds, she flips her long hair, then makes her way to the ring. As she goes up the steps and walks to the end of the ring apron, she climbs to the turnbuckle, then turns her head back as the camera shows her determined expression-perhaps a message that her opponent will be in for a tough fight. She vaults into the ring and walks over to the opposite corner where she relaxes along the corner ropes while waiting for her opponent to arrive.}Alison Vance: Standing in the ring, from from Buenos Aires, Argentina, she is the former and longest reigning IWF Ruby Champion in history, weighing in at 127 pounds…MERCEEEEEDEEEES VAAAARGAAAAS!

HEIRESS TO THE THRONE FINAL
Eternity vs Amber Richards
----------------------------------------------------------
{The lights in the arena go down to a blue hue and purple smoke begins to fill the entrance way as the banging drums of "Apex Predator" by Otep resound throughout the arena, the sirens and the lyrics introduce Eternity to the audience and as the adults boo, the children seem to fear the shadowy woman who is wearing a black hat and a veil with her head bowed as she walks down the ramp. She stops in the middle of the ramp and takes a bow, taking her veiled black hat off and posing with it in her outstretched arms. She continues her journey down the ramp, skipping and carrying her hat in her right hand accompanied by the chorus. She slides under the bottom rope into the ring and when she reaches the centre, she transitions into a skip, over to the turnbuckle where she hangs her hat on a ringpost, patting it. She then skips to the middle of the ring and gets down on one knee, a leg outstretched behind her, as she looks heavenward and raises an arm in front of her, her hand reaching towards the sky. This gesture now triggers the lights to slowly be raised back up to normal levels as her music starts also to fade away.}Vasco Dias: Here comes Eternity, and this young lady is nuttier than a box of squirrel shit.
Terri Morasco: Yeah, but she’s been incredibly effective on her way through the Heiress to the Throne tournament.
Vasco Dias: That she has, but so has Amber Richards, and that is nothing new to this young lady.
Terri Morasco: This is going to be a war, and they’re going to shine brightly tonight.

Terri Morasco: Well she should be. There is a lot on the line and getting a crack at the Diamond Champion at Legacy is one tall order
Vasco Dias: This tournament has taken several months and we’re getting a winner here tonight.
