IWF.com can once again exclusively reveal that a new match has been confirmed for the inaugural IWF Monday Night Sacrifice: Open Fight Night, this time involving the reigning, defending, Imperial Champion Renee Pleasant. Earlier this week Pleasant sounded the rallying cry, challenging anybody from the roster to step up and prove themselves against the face of the men's division and he was answered by a rather unlikely face: IWF's brand new acquisition, Zasshu!
Excitement is already abound following the announcement of IWF's latest recruit, signed by Roberto Verona on the latest tour of Mexico, but few could have predicted that he would make his first splash by answering the call of the apex of the men's division in Pleasant. Whilst many have been quick to point out that the odds are firmly stacked against the new comer, an air of excitement in seeing him in action on such a grand stage has washed across the internet.
Zasshu and Renee have now officially booked their names alongside Nighthawk and Andrew Jacobsen, who confirmed their match earlier this week.
