Kyle Mason returned from his short absence this week to issue a challenge: to none other than Rob Diamond, the IWF Man of Steel. The champion duly accepted, meaning that Kyle’s return to in ring action will also prove to be one of his toughest tests to date. Yet, as with many things in IWF, it wasn’t ever going to be quite that simple.
Following an inflammatory statement from Rob on Twitter, however, the reigning Man of Steel champion soon found out what the latest consequences for his outspoken nature would be. A No Disqualification Man of Steel match against Kyle Mason.
With Cyrus Daniels as the Special Guest Enforcer.
Rob’s vocal objections to the running of the company have already landed him in hot water with his recent attack at the hands of Daniels, Verona and Conway and it seems that his mouth, or in this case his fingers, have led to further recriminations. The question now on everybody’s lips is what on earth will happen inside the cage with Cyrus Daniels presiding over matters? Can Rob emerge with his title intact? Will he suffer another catastrophe due to his, arguably, ill-advised comments?
