SINGLES MATCHJayson Matthews vs Renee Pleasant
-------------------------------------------------------
The lights in the arena turn orange as the opening sounds and riffs of the guitar play.
“LET'S ROCK”
The guitar starts jamming and Jayson Matthews comes out with all his entrance gear and starts rocking out and head banging to the guitar and trying to hype up the fans. He runs to both sides of the entrance ramp and and then runs down to the ring and slides into the ring, he head bangs some more then shakes the ropes as hard as he can and then climbs the turnbuckle head bangs a bit more and then climbs down and waits for his opponent.
Terri Morasco: This newcomer stands at five foot nine inches and one hundred ninety pounds. Any match he contends in he will give up the height advantage. But none more so than tonight as he faces Renee Pleasant.
Vasco Dias: Jayson Matthews looked impressive in his tryouts but this is a former world champion he is facing....it doesn't look good.
The opening bar of I smell a massacre hits the speakers as red lights swirl around the crowd, before settling on Reñee Pleasant who stands in the middle of the stage, Amber Richards by his side, smirking at the crowd as a chorus of cheers rise up.
Reñee shrugs and walks down the ramp with purpose, he jumps up onto the apron and holds down the middle rope for amber before he enters the ring through the top and middle ropes. He approaches the referee for a moment and towers over him with a laugh, before walking away, shaking his head still laughing as the music fades out.
Terri Morasco: Renee is on a mission of violence and it starts this week against Jayson Matthews.
Vasco Dias: I hope Jayson kissed his family goodbye before he came to the arena.
Terri Morasco: This match is going to be very interesting based on the extreme size difference between the two men. Jayson Matthews standing at five foot nine, Renee Pleasant stands and six foot seven with over a hundred pound size difference.
Vasco Dias: This is definitely speed verse strength. Let's see who will prevail.
Jayson and Renee circle the ring. Renee motions for him to come at him and Jayson does but Renee just shoves him backward and Jayson goes head over heels towards the other side of the ring. Jayson slaps the mat in fustration and gets up and goes after Renee again but ends up tossed backward by the strength advantage of Renee.
Vasco Diaz: Looks like strength is winning so far.
Terri Morasco: Renee is much too strong for Jayson Matthews.
Jayson gets up and runs after Renee and Renee catches him with a brutal big boot that sends Jayson to the mat like a sack of potatoes. Jayson looks down for the count.
Terri Morasco: DEAD MAN'S FOOT! This one might be over quickly.
Vasco Dias: Renee caught the poor kid right on the button. I think he's out!
Renee goes for the cover and the ref counts, 1.....2.....but Renee lifts Jayson's shoulder off the mat himself and shakes his head no.
Vasco Dias: Looks like Renee doesn't want to let Jayson Matthews out of this match that easy.
Terri Morasco: Oh no, Renee Pleasant has been very adamant about hurting somebody this week. And poor Jayson Matthews may be the first victim.
Renee peels Jayson up off the mat and starts toying with him by slapping him around a little bit. He then follows it up with a vicious short arm clothesline. Jayson's whole body does a one eighty and he lands with his feet in the air and his head and neck taking the impact.
Terri Morasco: Did you see the way Jayson landed? Your neck isn't supposed to take that type of punishment!
Vasco Dias: How is this kid still moving after a head shot like that?
Jayson starts pushing himself up off the ground and Renee catches him with a kick to the ribs that sounded like someone just hit a bass drum. Jayson spins from the impact and lies in the ring holding his ribs and gasping for air. Renee looks proud of the pain he's caused as he watches Jayson frantically refill his lungs.
Terri Morasco: And Renee just loves what he's done. Why? Why brutalize this young man for?
Vasco Dias: Renee Pleasant has never necessarily been a man of mercy, Terri, I don't know why he would start now.
Renee walks over and grabs Jayson by the legs in order to spin him but Jayson manages to rip a leg free and he manages to smash Renee's face with his boot. Bam! Bam! Bam! Three solid strikes to the front of the face catch the big man off guard and stagger him a bit and Jayson manages to get to his feet. Renee lunges after Jayson but Jayson manages to duck it and he runs to the ropes and springboards off and back at Renee with a springboard clotheline. The clothesline hits but it only staggers the big man. Jayson bounces off the rope again but this type he does a flying spinning wheel kick that also hits his mark and Pleasant takes a knee. Jayson realizes he has Renee down to his size now runs in for a ddt but Renee over powers him and drives him back into the turnbuckle!
Vasco Dias: Oh man! Renee almost drove right through Jayson Matthews with that one.
Terri Morasco: The power of Renee Pleasant. He just drove right through the offense of Jayson Matthews.
Renee follows up in the corner with a few right hands and a teeth shaking uppercut. Renee pulls him out of the corner and then hits him hard with a backbreaker. Jayson rolls off the knee of Renee Pleasant and Renee immediately follows up with a reverse chin lock. Just bending back as far as he can as Jayson screams out in agony.
Vasco Dias: It's only just a matter of time for this, Jayson Matthews, kid. He can't hold out much longer.
Terri Morasco: I'd have to agree with you.
Luckily, Jayson was nearby the ropes and he grabs the bottom rope. Renee breaks the hold but immediately starts dragging Jayson Matthews to his feet but Jayson snaps out of the grapple! Jayson immediately nails Renee right in the side of the his left knee knee with a brutal kick. Renee groans and goes to hold his leg and Jayson backfists him in the right side of the ribs and then when Renee leans forward he takes a heel kick from Jayson.
Terri Morasco: Look at Matthews, utilizing his quickness and his strikes.
Vasco Dias: Renee is dazed!
Terri Morasco: Matthews runs to the ropes, he ducks under a swing from Pleasant, and he comes back OH! A dropkick to the knee. The big man didn't like that. Jayson runs and ohh another dropkick right to the front of the knee!
Vasco Dias: That is smart wrestling, Terri. Take out the big mans knee.
Terri Morasco: Pleasant is staggering now, Jayson runs to the ropes one more time but Renee counters with a back body wait no! Jayson lands on his feet! He keeps running to the opposite ropes and TORNADO DDT OFF THE SECOND ROPE! Cover! Can he do it!?
The ref goes for the cover 1...2....but Renee kicks out. Jayson is shocked that he didn't have it there. But he notices Renee is shaking off the cobwebs and Jayson climbs to the top rope. When Renee turns around Jayson dives but Renee catches him and uses his forward momentum to slam him into the mat with a huge tilt to whirl powerslam. Renee connects it into a cover. 1....2.....just kicks out! Renee looks a little annoyed. He grabs Jayson and lifts him up over his head for a military press, and then drops him over his knee. Jayson falls chest first on Renee's knee. And Renee goes for another cover. 1....2......but he kicked out again! Renee yells.
Vasco Dias: I think Renee said something like don't prolong this ass whippen boy.
Terri Morasco: i'm surprised to see such resiliency in Jayson Matthews here tonight. Renee peels Jayson off the mat once again, Jayson doesn't know where he is, and OH Primal Scream!
Vasco Dias: That's it, stick a fork in him.
Terri Morasco: The ref counts, one, two, NO HE GOT A SHOULDER UP! How did Jayson Matthews kick out of that? Nobody in this arena can believe it. Not even Renee!
Vasco Dias: Even the ref can't believe it!
Renee just shakes his head and signals for the end. He peels Jayson up one more time and calls for the RAV. Renee takes Jayson's arm but from out of nowhere Jayson rolls Renee up.
Terri Morasco: SMALL PACKAGE!
Vaso dias: What! No way! You gotta be kidding me!
The ref falls into the count.
1......
Vasco Dias: Renee kick out!
2..........
Terri Morasco: Biggest upset in history!
3.............
Terri Morasco: NO! Renee kicked out! The ref says Renee kicked out!
Vasco Dias: That had to be two and seven eighths!
Terri Morasco: Mere molecules away from a three Vasco.
Now Renee is pissed! That was too close. He gets up and grabs at Jayson but Jayson goes to bounce off the second rope but Renee catches him and drills him hard with one hell of a RAV! Renee hooks the leg.
1.....2......3!!!!!!!!!
Renee's music hits and the ref raises his hand and Renee celebrates like he does in the ring.
Terri Morasco: What a match that was! Jayson Matthews gave that match everything he had, despite the huge disadvantage he had going in.
Vasco Dias: He took an awful lot of punishment and he just kept on going, but finally Renee Pleasant found something to put him down for the count.
Renee finishes enjoying his win and starts heading up the ramp when he notices Jayson Matthews start to pull himself up to his feet with the ropes.
Terri Morasco: There is absolutely no quit in this kid.
Vasco Dias: Renee Pleasant doesnt seem to like it very much.
Jayson pulls himself to his feet and stumbles back to prop himself up in the turnbuckle. The crowd claps for the new guy but Renee shakes his head. Renee shouts some threats at Jayson who just glares at Renee from the ring.

This is survival of the fittest
This is do or die
This is the winner takes it all
So take it all
{The start of Eminem's "survival" hits as the lights go out except for a line of spot lights changing colors leading from the entrance all the way to the ring. A hooded figure steps out in jeans and a vest hoodie with a sleeveless denim jacket over the top.}Vasco Dias: What the hell is this?...
Terri Morasco: I have no idea....
{He makes his way down to the ring and leaps onto the ring apron before leaping over the top rope, he then throws his arms out and flips the hood back raising up the house lights revealing Austin James Mercer. His long blond and brown hair tied back half up and half down, he smirks and grabs a mic as the music shuts off.}Vasco Dias: Austin Mercer?....he hasn't really been around lately...
Terri Morasco: He's been dealing with his girlfriend Eliza Valentine's injuries....
Austin Mercer: Nice to see some of you remember me. After all IWF seems to believe no one would care. That I'd be met with silence. See before I left I had started beating some bigger names and was on a bit of a roll. I was carving out my own niche in IWF....then Eliza got hurt...bad.....
{Austin pauses for a moment.}Austin Mercer: So I took some time off, and in that time IWF management has lost faith in me as a viable moneymaking star......apparently i have gone "cold" but instead of booking me or releasing me they seem fine with just letting me sit around....i sit around and do nothing while Andrew Jacobsen has TV time....while Kyle Mason has TV time.....what kind of crap is that?....so...I am starting a movement....FREE AJM......

TWO OUT OF THREE FALLS MATCH
Nighthawk vs Alex Jones
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: “This next contest is scheduled for the best 2-out-of-3 falls with no time limit.”
{The entrance fills with red mist as two voices are heard over the PA.}Justice, for my sister and her children
If you want justice you've come to the wrong place....
I disagree, I want to bring those who have wronged me to justice and all those who have wronged me are right here...
{Killswitch engage's "Loyalty" blasts over the PA as Alex Jones steps out onto the stage. His long two tone hair wet down his back and sides. He wears a black Alex Jones shirt and his wrestling gear. He gets down to the ring and leaps onto the apron before wiping his feet off and getting into the ring, he throws his arms out to the side before slapping his chest}{As his opponent stands in a neutral corner the lights in the arena slowly click off, one by one, as the sold-out crowd rises to its feet in anticipation of what is to come. And as the opening strains of "Holding Out For A Hero (The Autumn Wind Intro)" by Emery boom out over the sound system Nighthawk walks out through the curtain and stands at the top of the ramp, hands on his hips as he looks all around at the sold-out crowd with the barest hint of a smile on his face before raising both hands above his head as the ring suddenly is flooded with blue light. Walking down the ring, shaking hands with the fans in the first 2 rows of the building and making a special effort to shake the hands and give out hugs to the kids in the front row as behind him blue-and-white Roman columns of fireworks go off, the "Wrestling Machine" finally gets to the ring and stands on the top turnbuckle while raising his left hand above his head as the crowd chants "Best in the World."}Alison Valance: “Introducing 1st, in the corner to my left, weighing in at 200 pounds from Dallas, Texas…. He is one of the most decorated wrestlers in IWF history with reigns as the IWF Imperial Champion, 1\2 of the Imperial Tag Team Champions, the IWF Cruiserweight Champion, as well as the inaugural winner of the Joker in the Pack. Wearing black trimmed with blue and white please welcome….. ‘The Black Dragon’ Alex Jones!”
{As Alex Jones steps out of the corner, posing with his hands on his hips and carrying an air of supreme confidence, the crowd showers the ring with black streamers and chants “Die, Alex, Die!”}Alison Valance: “And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois and weighing in at 185 pounds… He is also one of the most decorated wrestlers in the world, with reigns as the Mexican Middleweight Champion, King of Europe, and British Commonwealth Mid-Heavyweight Champion to his credit. Please welcome, wearing blue trimmed with white and orange… ‘The Man of 1000 Holds’… ‘The Wrestling Machine’ Nighthawk!”
{As Nighthawk steps out of the corner, coolly taping up his hands before standing on the 2nd turnbuckle looking across the ring at Alex Jones, the crowd bombs the ring with blue, white, and orange streamers as the crowd chants “Best in the World” and “Let’s go Nighthawk!”}Terri Morasco: “This is the match that people have waited to see, that everyone believes can steal the show. Nighthawk, perhaps the best pure technician on the IWF roster, against Alex Jones, who was perhaps the best pure athlete on the IWF roster when he was a full-time competitor. The questions for this match are numerous. Can Alex Jones return to his Imperial Championship form? Is Nighthawk truly ready to win a match this big?”
Vasco Dias: “An underrated question is this: How is Alex Jones’s conditioning? We heard Allison Valance at the start of this match. This is 2-out-of-3 falls with no time limit. I can speak to the idea of not being in wrestling shape. It doesn’t matter how good your conditioning program is, nothing anywhere can properly prepare you for wrestling like wrestling. Nighthawk is not only known as a cardio machine, but he has been wrestling a full schedule for quite a while now. The longer this match goes, the advantage has to go to Nighthawk based solely on conditioning.”
{As the referee checks both men for contraband and foreign objects and delivers a speech to each man about the way he expects them to conduct themselves Nighthawk & Alex Jones refuse to take their eyes off of the other, until the referee rings the bell for the 1st fall. Standing in the center of the ring they each go for a collar-and-elbow lock-up at more or less the same time, Alex coming out of the back door with a deep standing side headlock that he tries to take over with the aid of a judo throw known as an ipponzei. However as he tries to put it on Nighthawk sprawls out to block the throw attempt and instead starts to work on a counter to the side headlock, reaching his hands inside the headlock to force it open just far enough where he can attempt a flying jujigatame from that position which Alex Jones blocks by rolling himself through into a La Majistral that gets a 1-count before Nighthawk rolls that back into the Jorge Rivera Special that gets another 1-count for him before both men pop up to their feet and go for standing dropkicks at the exact same time. Staring holes through each other, each man loosening up their wrists for the battle that they now have come to understand is waiting for them, both men stand up again and stretch out against the ropes. Moving back into the center of the ring, each man a little warier than they were at the start of the match, they again lock up and this time Alex Jones quickly moves to use his strength advantage and execute a perfect standing switch right through into a standing full nelson which Nighthawk smoothly counters out of by bringing his knees up to his chest one after the other until he is able to loosen the full nelson to the point that he simply wriggles and writhes his way out of it as Alex looks on gob smacked before he yells “What the FUCK was that?” to no one in particular. Standing in the center of the ring, the barest hint of a smile beginning to cross his face at the slickness of the counter, the “Wrestling Machine” goes back into a collar-and-elbow lockup only for this time Alex to sneak out with a tight side headlock as he hooks it in and then tries to take that over but settles for grinding the bone of his forearm against the ear of Nighthawk. Going down to a knee and then to all fours as the side headlock is now beginning to do its work Alex exults to the sold-out crowd who is in no mood for his shenanigans, taking his eyes off of his opponent just long enough for the “Man of 1000 Holds” to escape the side headlock and stand to his feet while rotating the muscles in his neck.}Terri Morasco: “We knew there’d be some feeling out here, Vasco. These 2 guys are both too good, and too polished, to not want to see what the other has in this 1st fall. Nighthawk’s advantage, and I think even Alex Jones would admit this, is on the mat. If he can keep this a wrestling match for the 1st fall, he has a very good chance of winning it.”
Vasco Dias: “Let’s not sell Alex Jones’s technical ability short. You don’t win as many titles as he has won without being capable of wrestling on the mat if he needs to.”
{As both men stand in the ring, sweat beginning to drip from off of them now, they again go for a collar-and-elbow lockup as Nighthawk is somehow able to execute an armbar and quickly torque that to the mat, placing his knee right in the shoulder capsule and his thumb right in the middle of the palm to keep the arm immobilized in both directions. Swatting away the headscissors attempt with his other hand Nighthawk slowly begins to crank on the armbar, bending back the wrist to get the most out of the hold that he possibly can. Continuing to swat the headscissors attempts away Nighthawk now scoots himself closer to the middle of the ring which in turn drags Alex away from the ropes and their use as an escape hatch for himself. Cranking tighter and tighter on the wristlock Nighthawk finds himself countered when Alex feints another headscissors attempt and cups the inside of Nighthawk’s knee to distract him just long enough to get the headscissors he had been so doggedly searching for. Crossing his ankles together underneath the jawbone the “Black Dragon” cranks tighter and tighter on the headscissors as he tries to both wear his opponent down and try to submit him in the same breath, posting his elbows in between the shoulders of the “Wrestling Machine” to add even more pressure and torque on the hold. Wagging his finger no in the direction of the referee when he comes over to see if he wants to submit Nighthawk now begins to work on escaping the headscissors, going into a full headstand and then coolly escaping the hold as Alex Jones leans back on his elbows gob smacked before being forced to kick out quickly as Nighthawk takes advantage of his momentary confusion to try and win the 1st fall via a prawn hold that gets a quick 2-count which Alex quickly reverses into a prawn hold of his own that gets another 2-count. Standing back against the ropes, wiping his brow as he shakes out the muscles of his neck as Alex Jones does the same with his left arm, Nighthawk again moves into the center of the ring and this time goes for a single-leg takedown which he is able to get and quickly slides up into position to go for and get a short-arm scissors which he supplements by crossing his ankles together to get the most out of the hold. Trying to wriggle his left arm free of the scissors the former Imperial Champion instead uses his free right hand to deliver open-hand blows to the ribs of the “Man of 1000 Holds” to force him to let go of the hold.}Terri Morasco: “And we’re seeing the one thing about Nighthawk that I ever get tired of seeing. He is relentless on the left arm. Absolutely relentless. You combine that mindset with the sheer number of holds in that arsenal and you begin to see why so many think of him as a future champion.”
Vasco Dias: “Alex Jones has to keep this off the mat. It’s vital to his winning this 1st fall. The longer that it stays on the mat the more damage Nighthawk does to the left arm.”
{Finally releasing the short-arm scissors, wincing as the handprint on his ribs begins to show almost immediately, Nighthawk again moves back to the center of the ring and quickly goes for a deep armdrag which he gets as he tries to hold onto the arm for an armbar only for Alex to attempt to roll through out of danger into a side headlock, but Nighthawk is too dogged for that and instead rolls through that into a La Casita which gets a 2-count and gives Nighthawk the opening to hook in the wristlock that he was looking for originally. Placing his thumb in the flat of the palm while bending back the left wrist Nighthawk continues to crank and twist on the left arm, blocking a headscissors attempt with his right hand as he simply lets the wristlock do its work, the Chicago native steps through the wristlock and turns his grip over into a kimura variant of the hold while also managing to turn both men more towards the middle of the ring. Stepping through into a traditional Kimura lock the “Black Dragon” almost immediately scrambles to the nearest set of ropes and forces a break, before quickly rolling to the floor to shake out his left arm, dipping back in to avoid a count out before rolling to the floor a 2nd time as he tries to get his left arm back to where he can use it. Finally sliding back into the ring, continually shaking out his left arm to the point where the referee asks him if he wants to submit, Alex again locks up with Nighthawk and backs them both up into the ropes where he waits until the referee forces a break and then slaps the “Wrestling Machine” across the face. Running his tongue across his teeth in shock and annoyance Nighthawk demands that Alex try that again, only for Nighthawk to grab the left hand and chain that through into a rope-hung armbar which he is forced to break on the count of 4 before landing with both feet on the ring apron as the “Man of 1000 Holds” glares a hole through his opponent.}Terri Morasco: “And as this 1st fall keeps going, we see the difference between the two men. Nighthawk simply doesn’t get frustrated. He keeps pressing away at something until he sees the opening. And right now, he has focused on the left arm.”
Vasco Dias: “Something I’m noticing here. Alex is really trying to give himself time to think and catch his breath. You don’t often see him go to the side headlock as often as he’s doing here. I think he’s not as fit, cardiovascular-wise, as he would have wanted us to believe. That’s something to watch as this match goes on.”
{Leaning back on the ring apron to remove a stray piece of cerulean-blue wrist tape Nighthawk turns his head away from Alex Jones for just a minute, allowing him to try and go for a step-up enzuigiri using the middle rope as a springboard. Seeing it coming out of the corner of his eye Nighthawk leans back further causing the Dallas native to both miss the enzuigiri and bang his already-weakened left arm on the canvas, allowing the Chicago native to springboard in with an arm-trap La Majistral that gets a 3-count and the 1st fall.}Alison Valance: “The winner of the 1st fall….. ‘The Wrestling Machine’ Nighthawk!”
Terri Morasco: “And the arm pays dividends for Nighthawk, not with a submission but with a pinfall.”
Vasco Dias: “That arm work was brilliant. Because now it’s put the spectre of the Hangman’s Clutch over this match as the proverbial sword of Damocles, and it also prevented Alex from doing anything to block that tight pinning combination. A La Majistral is difficult to get out of normally, but when it’s that arm-trap variation, it becomes even more impossible.”
{As the referee enforces the 3o-second rest period Nighthawk leans in the corner with his face remaining absolutely impassive as he removes yet more stray and fraying tape from around his wrists while Alex Jones leans against the other corner, shaking out his left arm as he tries to figure out what his strategy should be. Ringing the bell to start the 2nd fall Alex Jones quickly moves into the center of the ring and again slaps Nighthawk in the face who responds by feinting a European uppercut and using the momentum of that to hit a tilt-a-whirl armdrag followed by a wraparound armdrag and then a monkey flip which sends the Dallas native rolling to the floor. Following him out the Chicago native hits a gorgeous tope suicida before rolling back into the ring and landing a second tope suicida. But as he goes for a 3rd Alex moves out of the way at the last moment forcing Nighthawk to land on his feet, allowing Alex to slide through with a baseball slide dropkick to the face followed by a backdrop driver against the back of the ring apron as the “Black Dragon” slides into the ring to break the count before sliding back out onto the ring apron and landing a running somersault senton off of the apron, before hitting an Asai moonsault and smirking to the sold-out crowd at the Tacoma Dome while standing on Nighthawk’s abdomen and delivering sing-song chants of “Best in the World”. Rolling Nighthawk back into the ring Alex then quickly follows him in with a slingshot high-arcing senton, before quickly hitting a quebrada moonsault and then covering with no intensity whatsoever only to be infuriated when the “Wrestling Machine” manages to kick out at the count of two. Taking a moment to debate the correctness of the call with the referee Alex Jones nonetheless keeps the pressure on by landing a shotgun basement dropkick to the base of the neck before heading up to the top turnbuckle, stopping as an evil grin comes on his face before climbing back off of the turnbuckles and whipping Nighthawk into a neutral corner and following him in with a handspring elbow right underneath the chin that leaves the “Man of 1000 Holds” on jelly legs but still somehow managing to stagger out of the corner only to walk right into a vicious Michinoku Driver.}Terri Morasco: “This is the pace Alex Jones wants to work at. It is a highly physical matchup so far in the 2nd fall, and if Alex can carpet-bomb him with enough high-impact offense, he’ll tie this match up.”
Vasco Dias: “We saw in the 1st fall a hold-for-hold mat contest, and Nighthawk won that. We are about to see if Nighthawk can compete in a physical bomb-throwing contest.”
{Executing another lackadaisical cover Alex again looks shocked that Nighthawk somehow has managed to kick out before the 3-count was registered before pulling him up to his feet and hitting a gorgeous STO right into a Koji Clutch. Shaking his fingers no, as the crowd chants “Please Don’t Tap” with an almost frantic edge Nighthawk crawls forward on his forearms towards the ropes, finally getting to them and forcing a break of the hold, which Alex reluctantly gives on the count of 4 before the Chicago native rolls to the floor in an attempt to catch his breath. However, as the referee moves to check on Nighthawk and start the 10-count Alex Jones refuses to let that happen and instead does a gorgeous tope con Hilo over the referee, rolling him in and quickly landing a snap standing moonsault. Getting a cocky smirk on his face the “Black Dragon” pulls Nighthawk up to his feet and insultingly slaps him across the face only to see the “Wrestling Machine” return fire with forearms and European uppercuts as he desperately tries to regain control of the match. Running towards the ropes Nighthawk attempts a palm strike only to be caught with a gorgeous belly-to-belly suplex from Alex Jones. Taking a deep breath as much for the purposes of steadying himself as to expel some of the frustration that he might be feeling the Dallas native gets another evil grin on his face as he drags Nighthawk to a neutral corner and laces his legs around the post, before standing on the ring apron and insultingly firing short superior football-style kicks to the forehead as the referee frantically attempts to remove him from the ring post. Smirking as Nighthawk crumples against the outside of the bottom turnbuckle Alex Jones gauges the distance and then springboards back in smoothly, seemingly going for a slingshot guillotine leg drop before landing on his feet and slapping the “Man of 1000 Holds” across the face.} Terri Morasco: “Alex Jones’s supreme arrogance on display here so far. And yet, not going for a lot of covers. Does he think he has him where he wants him?”
Vasco Dias: “He has to, Terri, because otherwise this is not a strategy that makes a whole lot of sense. Alex Jones is wrestling to hurt Nighthawk, and embarrass him, and not so much to pick up a pinfall.”
{Smirking as the sold-out crowd of the Tacoma Dome now clearly pours all of their support behind Nighthawk Alex quickly pulls him up to his feet and goes for a folding powerbomb only for the Chicago native to counter out of that into a hurricanrana that gets a 2-count. Taking a deep breath Nighthawk attempts to keep the advantage by throwing another desperation armdrag, which sends Alex to the floor, giving Nighthawk the perception of an opening to try to go for another dive. However, as he gets up a head of steam Alex simply grabs him by the feet and ensnares him in the ring skirt before climbing up on the ring apron and obliterating him with a running punt kick. Rolling him back in the ring Alex exhorts the crowd to boo even louder before springboarding in with an elbowdrop right to the pit of the stomach, mockingly accepting applause from the crowd before hitting a snap flash legdrop to the throat. Picking the “Wrestling Machine” up by the hair Alex whips him hard into the top turnbuckle chest-first and then follows that up with a release Dragon Suplex as he has apparently made the decision to try to punish Nighthawk in the 2nd fall for the temerity of winning the 1st fall. Slapping him hard across the face Alex yells in his face that “you’re not better than me” before running the ropes looking for the Curb Stomp, only to find himself caught with a massive palm strike that echoes throughout the Tacoma Dome and sends both men slumped to the mat as the referee immediately begins the 10-count. Pulling himself up to his feet with the aid of the ropes Nighthawk blinks his eyes to refocus himself on the task at hand before waiting for the “Black Dragon” to get up to his feet. Almost as soon as he does Nighthawk signals for the Blue Destiny which he can’t get as Alex spins out only to walk right into a superkick which lands as a glancing blow, right through into the Lakeshore Driver II. Heading up to the top turnbuckle the “Man of 1000 Holds” signals for the Pressure Drop but finds a pair of knees driven into his abdomen for the effort.}Terri Morasco: “Nighthawk is fighting hard, but he might have just had all the air taken out of him with those knees to the abdomen.”
Vasco Dias: “And if you’re Alex Jones, you have to try and go for the win here. You can’t let Nighthawk off the hook again.”
{Staggering into a neutral corner Nighthawk seems to be out on his feet as Alex follows him in with a corner dropkick only to be shocked when he doesn’t go down, smirking evilly before he steps back and lands another pair of corner dropkicks which finally sends Nighthawk staggering out of the corner right into a 2nd backdrop driver with a bridge this time that gets the 3-count and ties the match at 1 fall a piece.}Alison Valance: “The winner of the 2nd fall, tying the match at 1 fall a piece, Alex Jones!”
Terri Morasco: “Nighthawk won a hold-for-hold 1st fall. Alex Jones won a physical 2nd fall. We are about to find out who is the better man.”
Vasco Dias: “And if Alex Jones has the killer instinct, he might finish this off very early. Nighthawk took an absolutely tremendous amount of punishment in that 2nd fall, including 2 backdrop drivers. How he kept fighting for as long as he did is beyond me.”
{As the referee enforces the 30-second rest period before the start of the 3rd fall Alex Jones sips from a bottle of Gatorade as Nighthawk slowly pulls himself up to his feet, his eyes looking glassy-eyed as the referee checks to see if he is physically able to continue before signaling for the bell to be rung to start the 3rd fall. Almost as soon as the referee rings the bell Alex is on top of Nighthawk with a running calf kick before heading up to the top turnbuckle and coming off with a cannonball senton. Covering quickly now, irritation evident in his body language that the match has somehow managed to go on this long, the Dallas native shoots a look of even more rage towards the referee when Nighthawk kicks out at 2. Stomping on his hands as he tries to crawl to the ropes Alex then locks in a seated Buffalo Sleeper, twisting intently on it as he now tries to win the 3rd fall via submission. Squinting towards the ring ropes to try and see how far away he is from them the Chicago native looks back up and wags his fingers no when the referee asks if he wants to quit, even as his body starts to sag from exhaustion from the breakneck pace of the match up to now. Frantically scrambling to the ropes as best he can Nighthawk finally appears to go limp, quickly drawing the referee over to check to see if he submits. Checking the arm once, and seeing it drop, the referee signals “one” towards the timekeeper before doing the same thing and seeing it drop a 2nd time. Doing it a 3rd time the referee sees the arm drop and moves to tell the referee to ring the bell only to notice that the “Wrestling Machine” has grabbed onto his pant leg at the ankle, causing him to turn around and continue the match just long enough for Nighthawk to reach out and grab the ropes to force a break of the hold before rolling onto the ring apron to catch his breath. Kicking the ropes in frustration Alex yells at the referee for not properly calling the submission before heading to the ring apron and seemingly looking to go for a running double stomp on the ring apron only to see Nighthawk counter that by using his legs to slingshot the “Black Dragon” into the ring post who then quickly goes flying to the floor. Slowly pulling himself to his feet Nighthawk takes one quick look at the situation before climbing to the top turnbuckle and coming off with a diving frankensteiner before rolling him over the guardrail as the “Man of 1000 Holds” instructs the first row of ringside to give him some space.}Terri Morasco: “Words cheapen what we’re seeing from Nighthawk. This is true resilience. He is still fighting in this 3rd fall.”
Vasco Dias: “Not just fighting, Terri, but competing. He might win this 3rd fall.”
{Climbing in the ring Nighthawk calmly springboards up to the top strand of ring rope before flying out to the 1st row with a gorgeous tope con Hilo on Alex Jones. Standing on top of one of the chairs the Chicago native listens to the crowd’s loud and vociferous chants of “Best in the World” before rolling Alex Jones first over the guardrail and then back into the ring. Continuing to keep the pressure on Nighthawk heads to the ring apron and gets a gorgeous springboard clothesline, before quickly going up to the top rope and hitting a swandive elbowdrop right into the pit of the stomach. Covering quickly, hooking a leg just to be sure, Nighthawk looks up at the referee for a split second when he informs him of the 2-count before keeping the pressure on by hitting a gorgeous 2nd-rope cannonball senton and again covering only to again get a 2-count. Hitting a textbook vertical suplex the “Wrestling Machine” covers again and again gets a 2-count before hooking in a stepover armbar as he attempts to win the match via submission. Cranking tightly on the hold Nighthawk nonetheless looks frustrated when the “Black Dragon” is able to grab hold of the bottom rope and force a break of the hold which he gets immediately. Measuring Alex for what looks to be a Tiger Suplex Nighthawk finds himself spun through into a gorgeous Orange Crush Bomb. Covering cockily, hooking a leg with supreme self-assuredness, Alex screams at the referee and appears to almost be on the verge of tears when the referee tells him that Nighthawk still managed to kick out at 2 before keeping the pressure on with a seated dropkick to the back of the neck. Dragging him into position for a top-rope move Alex grabs Nighthawk by the hair and yells at him “You’re MAKING me do this!” before heading up to the top turnbuckle and going for a double-rotation moonsault only to see Nighthawk move out of the way at the last possible moment as both men again find themselves on the canvas exhausted and trying to grab any air that they can. Pulling themselves up to their feet at more or less the same time Nighthawk and Alex Jones trade forearms, although the exhaustion and the breakneck pace they’ve been keeping means they don’t have as much behind them as they might normally. Ducking under a forearm strike Nighthawk lands a fusillade of knife-edge chops before stepping back and going for a superkick only to get wobbled by a forearm from Alex Jones who then whips him into a neutral corner and follows him in with a running corner dropkick followed by the Flashback. But as Alex covers the “Man of 1000 Holds” pops right out at the count of 1 which draws a loud roar from the sold-out crowd.}Terri Morasco: “There aren’t words, Vasco. There really aren’t.”
Vasco Dias: “Alex Jones has to be thinking, how can I keep this guy down? What do I have to do to beat him?”
{Getting to his feet with absolute anger in his eyes Nighthawk hits a discus European uppercut followed by a snap suplex, before going for and getting a cravate suplex followed by a quebrada moonsault that gets a two-count as Nighthawk is too tired to cover properly. Keeping the pressure on Nighthawk hits a side Russian legsweep and again goes for a cover, and again gets a 2-count. Climbing up to the 2nd turnbuckle the Chicago native measures and lands a gorgeous diving elbowdrop which again gets another 2-count. Looking at the referee in something approaching confusion Nighthawk is distracted long enough to allow Alex to get to his feet and attempt an O'Connor roll, only to get a 2-count. Taking one look at the situation in front of him the “Black Dragon” plasters Nighthawk with a step-up enzuigiri before heading up to the top turnbuckle. Taking a moment to look down at his exhausted opponent Alex climbs down from the turnbuckle and grabs a steel chair from ringside over the protestations of the referee and places it across the chest of the “Wrestling Machine” before signaling for a Phoenix Splash.}Terri Morasco: “In a match that has gone on this long, we should have figured we’d see this.”
Vasco Dias: “This will either be a great decision or a nightmarish mistake. We’re about to find out which.”
{Taking a moment to measure his man Alex Jones flies off of the top rope and lands a gorgeous phoenix splash, landing in perfect position for a cover as the referee comes in and counts the 3-count. Gasping for air and slowly crawling off of Nighthawk Alex Jones looks exhausted and smug.} Alison Valance: “The winner of the match, Alex Jones!”

IWF DIAMONDS CHAMPIONSHIP
#1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH
Eternity vs Eliza Valentine
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the right to named the next Number One Contender for the IWF Diamonds World Championship...
{The lights in the arena go out and a simple but bouncy circus beat starts to play. As the drums kick in, purple strobe lights on the stage begin flashing in time with the music accompanied by matching coloured smoke which slowly rises to fill the entranceway. Shortly after the lyrics to "Something Wicked (That Way Went)" by Vernian Process begin, Eternity emerges from the smoke. There is a mixed reaction from the adults, but the children seem to fear the shadowy woman who is wearing a black hat and a veil with her head bowed as she seems to lightly bounce halfway down the ramp. She stops in the middle of the ramp and takes a bow, taking her veiled black hat off and posing with it in her outstretched arms.}Alison Valance: Introducing first...from The Other Side...ETERRRNNNNITTTY!
{The gesture causes Eliza Valentine to walk slowly out on to the stage and down the ramp, remaining in the shadow of her opponent.}Alison Valance: And her opponent...from the same place as all her fears...EEEELLLLIIIIZZZAAAA VAAAALLLEEEEENNNNNNTIIINNNNEEEE!
Terri Morasco: I can honestly say I've never seen anything like this before, Vasco, have you?
Vasco Dias: This is not a tag team match, these ladies are not partners here tonight, they're supposed to be opponents, yet look at Eliza, she's just following Eternity's lead as they make their way to the ring together...it's insane!
{Eternity continues her journey down the ramp, skipping and carrying her hat in her right hand. She slides under the bottom rope into the ring and when she reaches the centre, she transitions into a skip, over to the turnbuckle where she hangs her hat on a ringpost, patting it. Eliza waits patiently at the foot of the ramp, apparently content to just watch the spectacle that is Eternity. Eternity then skips to the middle of the ring and falls to her knees, keeping her head bowed for a moment and her eyes closed. Eliza mimics this gesture at ringside. Both women tilt their head back and slowly open their eyes to the heavens. This gesture now triggers the lights to slowly be raised back up to normal levels as her music starts also to fade away.}Vasco Dias: I just don't understand how anybody in their right mind could follow Eternity...
Terri Morasco: If I were to guess, I don't think she has much of a choice, Vasco...
Vasco Dias: Yeah, I suppose Eliza has been more than a little out of it since her coma...
Terri Morasco: A coma Eternity herself put Eliza in, just in case you've forgotten...
{The bell rings to start the contest, but Eliza waits patiently, keeping her eyes fixed on Eternity as if waiting instruction. Eternity then grabs the microphone from Alison Valance and addresses Eliza from her position in the middle of the ring. Eliza takes a step forward, but then hesitates and backs off, shaking her head.}Eternity: Come on Lizzie. It's okay, little one, don't be scared. It won't hurt, it'll be just like we practiced, remember?
{Eternity walks over to the side and abandons the microphone to a stagehand. Eliza now is more confident as she slides under the bottom rope and meets Eternity in the middle of the ring and lets her opponent grab her and throw her over the top rope out of the ring. Eliza quickly rolls to her feet and charges towards Eternity again, and once more Eternity grabs her and tosses her over the top rope. The two ladies repeat this sequence three more times.}
Terri Morasco: Are they doing what I think they're doing?
Vasco Dias: That depends, what do you think they're doing?
Terri Morasco: Call me crazy, but if I didn't know better I'd say they were going through a common amateur wrestling drill...
Vasco Dias: Aren't there usually more than two people involved in the over the top rope drill?
Terri Morasco: Usually, yes.
{As Eliza rushes at Eternity for the sixth time, Eternity simply cuts her off with a stiff clothesline. Eliza falls flat on her back as Eternity giggles. Eliza sits up and looks over her shoulder at Eternity, confused. Eternity just shrugs before helping Eliza back to her feet, only to use her power advantage and scoop slam Eliza in the middle of the ring. This now motivates Eliza even more as she slowly finds her feet again. Eliza rushes at her opponent, mounting Eternity and delivering stiff shots to the side of her head. Eternity rolls over and gets in a few shots of her own, but the resolute Eliza will not be denied as she once again ends up on top of the situation, delivering slaps across Eternity's face now. Eternity yells at her to stop, and it works as Eliza gets off Eternity and even backs up a few steps. Eternity sits up and quickly rolls to her feet, and Eliza just waits patiently once more.}
Vasco Dias: For lack of a better term, Eternity is in total control of her opponent here...
Terri Morasco: Under normal circumstances, that would be a great thing for Eternity...
{Eternity then invites Eliza in for a lock up, and Eliza obliges, showing some of her wrestling prowess as she executes a wrist lock which she then manages to transition into a standing switch, getting behind Eternity and slapping her across the back of the head, followed by a stiff lariat as a receipt for earlier. Eternity lands face down on the mat. Seeing this Eliza tries to make the most of her advantage by isolating and extending Eternity's left arm and dropping a knee on it, then a second and a third, before she decides that she's had enough.
She rolls Eternity onto her back and tries for the cover, she manages a one count before she tries a second time, this time hooking the leg and getting a two before Eternity kicks out. Not so easily denied, Eliza grabs a handful of Eternity's hair as she pulls her back to her feet.}
Vasco Dias: Now Eliza seems to be back in control...
Terri Morasco: But for how long, that's the real question.
{Seizing her advantage, Eliza grabs Eternity and irish whips her across the ring and into the corner, looking to follow up with a run towards her opponent, looking to strike her in the face with a running dropkick, but Eternity is just quick enough to side step out of the corner and watch Eliza land on her hip. eternity cocks her head to the side at the familiar sight and sighs before dragging Eliza back to her feet by her pretty blonde hair. Eternity shakes some feeling back into her left arm before kicking Eliza in the gut and trying for a suplex.
Eliza blocks the attempt and counters with a suplex of her own, quickly floating over into the cover and getting a two count before Eternity manages to get her shoulder up.}
Vasco Dias: Eliza is trying to cause what many people would consider a huge upset here.
Terri Morasco: It's a sound strategy Vasco, stay on top of your opponent for as long as you can, that's how you beat a former two time Diamonds World Champion.
{Rather unexpectedly, Eliza suddenly separates herself from Eternity who is still laying on her back. Eliza begins screaming at Eternity to get up. Eternity does so but slowly, as Eliza stalks her. As soon as Eternity finds her feet, Eliza brings her back down to the mat with a Russian Leg Sweep, before kipping back up to her feet and dropping three elbows in succession across Eternity's heart. The fourth however misses as Eternity rolls out of the way and to her feet.
Eternity once again invites Eliza in for a lock up, but this time when Eliza obliges, eternity answers with a wrist lock of her own. With Eliza's arm isolated, Eternity walks backwards to the nearest corner, climbing the turnbuckle and walking the top rope. Upon seeing this action, Eliza goes completely limp and appears to allow Eternity to complete the Burning Angel without any resistance at all.}
Terri Morasco: Okay, what was that all about?
Vasco Dias: Well, maybe seeing Eternity walk the rope like that reminded Eliza of her fear of the circus....
{ Seeing Eliza has stopped fighting completely now, Eternity yells the word "CLOWNS!" waking her up from her fear induced trance. Eliza scrambles to her feet, inspired by a sudden adrenalin rush and on this occasion chooses to fight response as a natural reaction to her fear. She starts striking Eternity in the face who takes each shot, but stands firm. Eliza strikes Eternity three times before turning away and running towards the ropes. She rebounds with an attempted clothesline, which Eternity manages to counter into her Dying Wish submission hold.}
Terri Morasco: Eternity is looking to put Eliza away...
Vasco Dias: Or break her arm...
{However Eliza doesn't allow Eternity to get a firm grip on her arm as she frantically kicks Eternity away whilst both women are still standing. Having created just enough separation between them, Eliza instinctively follows up with a short arm clothesline, and reflexively drops down into a cover. Having forgotten to hook Eternity's leg in her desperate panic, Eliza only manages to get a one count.
Eliza's eyes tell the story of her absolute terror as she scrambles backward, toward the ropes.}
Vasco Dias: Eliza Valentine has looked scared out of her mind ever since Eternity yelled "Clowns!" at her.
Terri Morasco: I believe that was the idea, Vasco!
{Eternity sits bolt upright and snaps her neck, looking right at Eliza. She grins which only seems to freak Eliza out even more as she stands frozen in fear staring at that creepy clownish grin. Eternity gets to her feet and beckons Eliza, saying: "Come on, little one, don't be scared..."
Eliza takes a deep breath before running towards Eternity. Eternity catches her with the Tears of Sorrow (Side Effect). Eternity rolls to her feet once more before she then rolls Eliza onto her stomach before attempting to lock in her signature Deliverance submission hold. Eternity rolls onto her back with Eliza held up in the air and completes the surfboard stretch part of her hold, Eliza manages to shift her weight slightly, so that Eternity's shoulders are pinned to the mat. The referee falls down to her knees to count the impromptu pinfall attempt as Eliza screams out in pain. 1.........2........Eliza nods her head in submission just as the referee gets to 3... }
Vasco Dias: Eliza has just submitted...Eternity wins...
Terri Morasco: No, Eternity's shoulders were clearly pinned to the mat...Eliza wins...
{As Eternity finally releases the hold, the official goes over to talk to Alison Valance. She leans over the ropes informing her of her decision. Alison nods before raising the microphone.}
Alison Valance: Ladies and Gentlemen, the official has ruled this contest a draw...therefore your new contenders for the Diamonds World Championship are both Eliza Valentine and Eternity!
----------------------------------------------------------
DRAGON’S DEN MATCH
Mohamed Al-Thani vs Spike Kane
----------------------------------------------------------
{The Qatari national anthem is dying down as Mohammed Al Thani enters the ring.}
Terri Morasco: Never one to overdo his entrance is Mohammed Al Thani, but tonight might be a cause for celebration if he can pull of an upset here.
{The crowd grow silent as the lights go out, monks chanting can be heard, as the chanting gets louder the stage area starts to fill with smoke. Suddenly, and abruptly as the drums and guitars kick in a pyro explodes around the stage.}
“BROTHERS! MY BROTHERS!
Is this all what we are?
SISTERS! MY SISTERS!
We’ve been crushed by the fists of GOD!!!”
{On the word God another pyro explodes either side of the rampway as Spike Kane appears through the smoke. He stands with his arms outstretched, fists balled up soaking in the reaction from the crowd. After a few seconds he simply heads right to the ring, rolling under the bottom rope and standing right in the center of the ring, extending his arms once more, before the lights fade to normal and the music fades.}
Vasco Dias: We’re finally ready to go here for arguably the biggest match of Mohammed Al Thani’s career…..and just a normal Sunday for Spike Kane...
{The referee locks the door to the Den, and the bell rings for the match to begin. Inside the ring, Spike is looking over his shoulder checking on the referee, with Al Thani in front of him. Thani seems to take insult to Spike’s actions and charges at him nailing Spike with a huge right hand t the face, Spike retaliates with one of his own and the two start throwing lefts and right as wildly as they possibly can, before Spike takes the initiative and sends a kick straight to the privates of Mohammed Al Thani!}
Terri Morasco: Well, I guess we’re not going to play around here?
Vasco Dias: I think it’s going to be a bloobath!
{Mo drops to a knee hunching over as he grabs at his genitals feeling the full force of Spike’s superior football kick. Kane hits the ropes and comes running with a huge knee to the face of Al Thani sending the challenger to the ground hard. Spike doesn’t stop however, as he hits the opposite ropes this time and comes crashing down with a running senton. Al Thani seems winded after the move, and Spike scrambles for a quick cover, a smirk on his face as he does so.}
Terri Morasco: He doesn’t think that’s enough does he!?
Vasco Dias: It’ a message to Al Thani, an insult!
{One! ...Tw-kick out by Al Thani. Mohammed seems to be fired up by the pinfall attempt, taking it, as it was meant, as an insult. He rolls to his feet and hits the ropes. On the rebound Spike swings for a lariat but Mohammed ducks underneath, he jumps up onto the ropes and springboards backwards into a crossbody on Spike. Al Thani takes the Hall of Famer down, but quickly rolls to the outside of the ring reaching up into the barbed wire and pulling off a kendo stick.}
Vasco Dias: It’s time for business to pick up!
Terri Morasco: And insurance fees.
{However, the crossbody didn’t do much to keep Spike down and he is already on his feet, he hits the ropes opposite Al Thani, and just as Mohammed turns around Spike dives through the ropes with a suicide dive forcing Mohammed Al Thani into the barbed wire wall!!! Sandwiched between Spike, steel, and barbed wire, Mohammed cries out in pain as Spike rises to his feet, to a surprisingly loud cheer, the legend takes a moment to catch his breath.}
Vasco Dias: Did you see that!? What a feat of athleticism from Spike!
{Spike grabs Al Thani by the head and goes to throw him into the ring, but Al Thani sends a swift elbow to the gut of Kane and then uses all of his strength to football tackle Spike back into the wall of the Den himself, Spike shouts out in pain as his back is shoved onto the barbed wired and steel. The crowd are starting to get into this match as Mohammed steps back to take a running start but as he charges forwards Spike explodes off of the wall with the BLOODY SUNDAY!}
Terri Morasco: Oh! Bloody Sunday!
Vasco Dias: Say goodnight Al Thani.
{The crowd explode just as the kick connects, and Al Thani hits the floor like a sack of potatoes. Spike doesn’t waste any time though, and he starts rummaging under the ring for items galore. He carefully pulls out a table that is already wrapped in barbed wire, in the process he pulls out some bolt cutters, but tosses them aside. He’s about to slide the table into the ring when Mohammed Al Thani connects with the bolt cutters to the back of the head, forcing Spike to go down hard.}
Vasco Dias: Oh come on! Such a cowardly act!
Terri Morasco: Not that I condone an attack from behind, but would you say the same if Spike did it?
Vasco Dias: Spike would never stoop so low!
{Al Thani raises the bolt cutters into the air, to a huge chorus of boos from the crowd, before he heads over and starts to cut the lock on the Den door. The referees are trying to stop him, but he threatens to hit them with the cutters if they don’t back off. On the other side of the apron, Spike is slowly getting to his feet, using the apron itself to help himself up. As he does so he drags something else from underneath the ring…..a sledgehammer wrapped in barbed wire….the Spiked One Version 7.0!}
Vasco Dias: Oh oh….this doesn’t bode well.
{Mohammed Al Thani has the door wide open and decides it’s time to go get Spike, who is struggling to stay on his feet. As Al Thani comes around the corner, Spike springs to life and hefts up his trademark weapon before SLAMMING IT INTO THE FACE OF AL THANI!!!! Mohammed goes down hard with a thud, and blood is instantly pouring from his face. The crowd are stunned with a mixed reaction of cheers and worry for Mohammed who took the shot full force into his face.}
Terri Morasco: OH MY WORD!!!
Vasco Dias: DOWN GOES AL THANI!
{Spike roars as he lifts the sledgehammer up into the air, one of the referees has run into the Den to check on Al Thani as his face fills with blood, the referee makes a motion and some EMT’s start running down. Spike, however, takes exception to this and grabs the referee and drags him towards the door before throwing him out into the EMT’s. Everyone is complaining and shouting at Spike, but he grabs some of the loose barbed wire and slams the door shut, wrapping the barbed wire around the door to keep it closed. He leans in to the camera and shouts: “He wanted the Den, so he’s going to get it!”}
Terri Morasco: Spike seems to be losing it here, they just wanted to check on Al Thani…
Vasco Dias: I don’t like the guy, but I think Spike might be going too far.
{Spike heads back over to Al Thani, but Mohammed had fumbled around and found the kendo stick, he flicks it upward and backward and nails Spike straight in the forehead with it. The attack seems to cut Spike open too, and now both men are bleeding. Mohammed slides the barbed wire table into the ring and rolls in after it to begin setting it up. Spike manages to get back to his senses and rolls into the ring after Al Thani.}
Terri Morasco: There’s signs of life in Al Thani yet!
{Mohammed catches Spike off guard and goes for the Arabic Asphyxiation! But somehow, Spike hooks Al Thani and lifts him up and over into a modified THUNDERSTRUCK!!!! The crowd are going wild for this match up, and chants of “Holy Shit” can be heard as well as “This is Awesome!” Spike is on a knee, looking around through his crimson mask as he tries to plot his next move.}
Vasco Dias: Mohammed Al Thani is having one of the most violent lessons of his entire life right here.
{Spike drags Al Thani to his feet, who is feebly clawing and trying to get to Spike. Kane positions Al Thani between his legs, and signals that he’s going for the Wings of Liberty, but at the last minute Al Thani drops to a knee and delivers a thunderous uppercut to the privates of Spike Kane! Spike reacts loudly as he lets go of Al Thani and stumbles to the corner, leaning into the turnbuckle. Al Thani spots the table wrapped in barbed wire and the other items Spike had pulled out earlier. He leans over and grabs the gas can, and the lighter, before pouring gas all over the barbed wire table and then setting it on fire!}
Terri Morasco: What is Al Thani thinking!?
{Al Thani laughs with a vicious intent as he charges towards Spike to go for his patented corner uppercut, but out of nowhere Spike pops Mohammed Al Thani up into the air and POP UP POWERBOMBS HIM THROUGH THE FLAMING BARBED WIRE TABLE!!!!! The crowd are losing their minds as Mohammed lies in the embers of the fire, now put out by the impact, and tangled in barbed wire. Spike leans backwards on the ropes with an absolutely sick grin on his face.}
Vasco Dias: HOLY SHIT!
Terri Morasco: DEAR GOD IN HEAVEN!
{Spike manages to pull Mohammed free of the barbed wire and shoves him down to the mat, he leans over as if to go for the cover, but instead smirks more and wags his finger. Spike throws the lifeless Al Thani into the turnbuckle, and drags the remnants of the barbed wire table into a different position before going back to Al Thani, he lifts him up onto the top turnbuckle and follows suit….lifting him up….SPIKE IMPAILER OFF THE TOP ROPE INTO THE REMNANTS OF THE BARBED WIRE TABLE!!!! Spike does damage to himself in the process, but the sick smile on his face never leaves. A referee can be heard telling Spike to end it, but he simply tells the referee where to go.}
Vasco Dias: Come on Spike….it’s over….end this.
Terri Morasco: I get that Spike is trying to make an example of Al Thani, but this is sick.
{Now Spike is on his feet, there’s blood trickling from his arm and shoulder, as well as that on his face, but he looks like a child on christmas. He has more trouble dragging Al Thani from the wreckage this time, and his frustration shows as he kicks and shouts at the bits of wood and barbed wire. He drags Mohammed into the center of the ring, and finally shows some mercy and covers him, the referee doesn’t even drop he just shouts the count….ONE! …...TWO! …..THREE!! The bell rings and Spike Kane climbs to his feet, holding his own arms into the air.}
Terri Morasco: Finally, some mercy….
{The referees and EMT’s have managed to cut through the barbed wire and flood the ring, they begin to work on Al Thani and immediately put him on a stretcher with a neck brace. They start to wheel him out, as one referee does his job and holds Spike’s arm in the air. Spike snatches his arm away. The EMT’s seem to be rushing Al Thani away, and Spike slides out of the ring after them. Just as they reach the top of the rampway Spike catches up with them and shoves them all away. He grabs the almost lifeless blood soaked body of Mohammed Al Thani and sets him up for a POWERBOMB OFF THE STAGE!!! OH MY GOD!!!}
Terri Morasco: FOR GOD SAKE SPIKE KANE! YOU SICK BASTARD! THERE WAS NO NEED FOR THIS! YOU HORRIBLE HORRRIBLE PERSON!
Vasco Dias: We really need to get some help out here for Al Thani…..Spike made an impact here with his victory over Al Thani, but his actions here are above and beyond and even I can’t condone this...
{The crowd don’t know how to react, and there’s a lot of boos ringing through the arena, mixed with some “holy shits” the gaggle of referees are screaming and shouting at Spike, before the camera shows the broken body of Mohammed Al Thani just off the stage and ramp area. EMT’s are rushing to his aid, but the camera focuses on the sick grin of Spike Kane standing at the top of the stage with his arms outstretched.}
Terri Morasco: We need to go to commercial…..this is sick.
----------------------------------------------------------
IWF SHIELDMAIDEN MATCH
Mercedes Vargas vs Kayla Richards (C)
----------------------------------------------------------
{Suddenly, the arena lights turn off and the crowd is hyped up for what was in store. As the opening of “Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me” by U2 blares across the PA system, the mood of the crowd changes instantly and the arena is under the subtle glowing of the lights. As the lyrics finally kick in, a figure emerges; the highlight of their attire is being under the illusion. Mercedes Vargas stops short of the entrance ramp, hands on waist, and overlooking the crowd.}
RING ANNOUNCER: Introducing first, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, weighing in at 127 pounds…MERCEEEEEDEEEES VAAAARGAAAAS!
{Cheers, boos and catcalls soon greet her. Oblivious and yet satisfied with their reaction for several seconds, she flips her long hair, then makes her way to the ring. As she goes up the steps and walks to the end of the ring apron, she climbs to the turnbuckle, then turns her head back as the camera shows her determined expression-perhaps a message that her opponent will be in for a tough fight. She vaults into the ring and walks over to the opposite corner where she relaxes along the corner ropes while waiting for her opponent to arrive.}
Vasco Dias: This is so unfair, why is Mercedes being punished like this?
Terri Morasco: Punished? Despite her bad attitude she's getting a Shieldmaiden title match...a belt she basically ran down and spat on...
Vasco Dias: Spat on?.....she just said she believes she's above it....
{"Vice grip" by parkway drive blares out as Kayla Richards emerges from the back. She stands at the entrance and looks around at the fans shaking her head. She makes her way down to the ring lifting the IWF shieldmaiden title belt over her head before running and sliding under the bottom rope, she gets onto the second rope and shakes her hair around to the music, she turns and nod's to the fans at ringside}
Terri Morasco: There's our shieldmaiden champion
Vasco Dias: I admit Kayla has been very..lucky lately...
Terri Morasco: Lucky?..there's lucky and there's good..and Kayla's good
{The bell rings, Kayla and Mercedes come face to face in the center of the ring, Mercedes mouths off at her and Kayla just smiles. Mercedes gets angry and shoves Kayla who then shoves her back, Mercedes steps forward fast and Kayla catches Mercy in a headlock takedown, she wrenches it in and Mercedes pushes against Kayla's head until she is able to scissor her head, Kayla rolls back and kips up from the head scissors to her feet. Mercedes slides up as well and they lock up, Kayla hits an arm drag, they pop up and Vargas hits one on Kayla, they both then leap up for a dropkick and end up in a standoff.}
Vasco Dias: Ok that was a good start.....
Terri Morasco: These girls can go Vasco....
{They move around each other measuring up, they lock up but Kayla spins and pulls Vargas into a side headlock, Vargas backs Kayla into the ropes and shoves her off, Kayla rebounds and hits a shoulder block, Vargas lands on her back, Kayla hits the ropes and Vargas rolls over so Kayla and jump over. Vargas pops to her feet and leapfrogs Kayla, she then turns to her side and hits Kayla with a hiptoss, Kayla kicks Vargas away and gets to her feet.
Kayla steps forward going to lock up again, Vargas though has other ideas kicking Kayla in the stomach doubling her over. Vargas hits the ropes before leaping up and over Kayla's back hooking her arm with an armdrag, Kayla gets up and runs at Vargas who steps sideways hitting a tiltawhirl backbreaker, Vargas pins 1....2....Kayla kicks out.}
Terri Morasco: That was very close...we almost had a new shieldmaiden....
Vasco Dias: Mercedes Vargas would bring some real prestige to the title Terri...
Terri Morasco: Like Kayla hasn't?....
Vasco Dias: She's...she's done ok I guess....
Terri Morasco: Idiot....
{Vargas pulls Kayla to her feet she whips Kayla to the corner and runs in hitting a high velocity back elbow, Kayla holds her jaw stumbling out, Vargas grabs Kayla by the hair snaping her down before rolling up and over with a neck snap. Kayla holds her neck as Vargas struts around getting the fans to boo. Kayla starts to shake it off and get to her feet, Vargas runs up grabbing Kayla's arm backing her against the ropes for a whip, Vargas ducks down for a back body drop and throws Kayla up but Kayla pushes off her back and front flips onto her feet}
Vasco Dias: Ok that was impressive.....
Terri Morasco: Indeed it was
{Vargas runs at Kayla and Kayla ducks down pulling the top rope down causing Vargas to fall over the top rope to the floor. Kayla hits the ropes and dives through the top and middle with a suicide dive onto Vargas, the crowd pops as Kayla gets to her feet and leaps into the front row with the fans.}
Vasco Dias: Well that was crazy!...and now she's in the fans
Terri Morasco: Kayla has become a fan favorite...
{Vargas gets to her feet and slides in as Kayla follows Vargas dives on her with rights and lefts beating her down. She looks up and let's out a frustrated scream. Mercedes pulls Kayla up and sets her up for the black rose overdrive (burning hammer), Mercedes flips Kayla but Kayla throws her body up and over landing on her feet, she spins around grabbing Vargas and rolling forward into her submission the calf killer!. Vargas reaches towards the ropes and Kayla keeps pulling hard, Vargas can't make it and taps..}
Vasco Dias: Oh come on no!
Terri Morasco: She did it again!

IWF INVICTUS CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
The Loser’s Contract Will Be Terminated IMMEDIATELY
Andrew Jacobsen vs Warren Kane
----------------------------------------------------------
{The drumbeat of "When the Levee Breaks" begins echoing through the arena, and a raspy harmonica heralds Andrew Jacobsen as he walks onto the stage, Danielle Chase a few steps behind him. Andrew adjusts his gloves, eyes zeroed in on the ring, and walks with purpose down the ramp, nodding to fans in the crowd as he walks. He picks up a burst of speed as he leaves the ramp to leap up onto the apron. Andrew kneels on the apron, hanging onto the middle rope with one hand as he turns to look back at the ramp and Danielle. He closes his eyes, taking a deep breath, and stands up, stepping between the ropes. Andrew walks to a corner, slumping slightly against the ropes, and stares ahead, eyes practically tunneling through the turnbuckle as Danielle joins him in his corner and he waits for the bell.}
Terri Morasco: I feel bad for Andrew Jacobsen and Warren Kane. One of these two men is gonna win...
Vasco Dias: ..while the other gets to hang with the hookers of Tacoma's red light district after losing his contract!
Terri Morasco: I hate it when you say lines like that. Really, I do.
{The lights go out as the crowd chanting fills the arena.}
"Da da da de da da da
Da da da de da da da
Da da da de da da da
Da da da de da da da
LET'S GO!"
{As the song kicks in the tron explodes to life with a quick pyro as red and white strobe lights begin to flash. Warren Kane comes to the front of the stage and brings his arms up infront of his chest before extending them outwards and upwards creating a reaction from the crowd.}
"It's not easy making a name for yourself, Where do you draw the line?
I never thought I'd be in this far.
Let's have some fun and never change that for anyone, try not to miss me when I'm gone
Woooh, wooooh"
I sold my soul to the open road!"
{He then heads towards the ring, clicking his neck, wrists and elbows to prepare for his match before jumping up onto the apron, climbing the turnbuckle on the outside and raising his arms once more. The music dies down and the lights return to normal as he drops into the ring.}
Terri Morasco: You gotta love Warren Kane--
Vasco Dias: --I don't. How can he possibly justify costin' his pops a match against Jack Gaither?! Don't give me that "it's a family thing" bullcrap either.
Teri Morasco: I can't...really, I can't. After all, either by accident or design, he DID drag Jack into the middle of his personal feud with Spike.
[DING!]
{The man in stripes calls for the bell to get things rolling along. The two men look around the Tacoma Dome crowd, knowing the gravity of the situation they've found themselves in, before locking up in the center. Warren and Andrew jockey for position until the former backs the latter up in the corner; immediately, the younger Kane breaks the clinch and the two tie up for a second time. This time, Jacobsen backs the Invictus champ into the opposite corner and, like the first time, breaks the hold on a subtle command. The two lock up for a third time--only this time, Warren grabs Andrew's left arm and twists it into a classic hammerlock. Jacobsen reverses the hammerlock into one of his own--followed by a Warren reversal that eventually leads into a hammerlock takedown that sends his challenger to the deck. On the mat, Warren quickly transitions into a reverse chinlock; the zebra checks to make sure that it's not a chokehold as the 205-pounder holds his own against the vastly experienced Jacobsen. Andrew is able to squirm free of the chinlock and stands back up, only to be sent crumpling to the canvas once again with a vertical suplex--folowed by a second and a third, transitioning into a pin.}

2...!!
NOPE!!!
{Warren immediately picks up Andrew and sends him for the ride. But the savvy vet senses this and reverses; now it's the younger Kane who bounces off the ropes and into a standing dropkick, followed by a second and a third as Andrew gets himself all jacked up.}
Vasco Dias: I've got a feeling that this ain't gonna be a straight wrasslin' match for much longer.
Terri Morasco: I'm merely hopin' they keep things fair and honest.
{Jacobsen grabs Warren by the left arm and sends him careening into the corner; Kane crunches the buckles with his back as Andrew takes control, thrusting his shoulder into his opponent's ribs several times before sending him crashing toward the opposite corner. Warren crunches the buckles and staggers out--right into an inverted atomic drop! The Invictus champ sings soprano figuratively, clutching his family jewels before stumbling into a vertical suplex! Andrew holds onto his rival and quickly lands a snap DDT before turning him over for a pin!}

2...!!
KICKOUT!!!
{Jacobsen says he's had enough and decides that he wants to end the match right here, right now. Shaking his head over the importance of winning, and knowing full-well that a fellow comrade in IWF could lose his job soon, Andrew lifts Warren above his head in anticipation for his dreaded snap-release powerbomb!}
Terri Morasco: Here it comes--the Ice Breaker! This could be the end!
Vasco Dias: Someone's goin' home!
{But Warren manages to wriggle his way out of danger and connects with his TUNDERSTRUCK Stunner out of nowhere! Andrew Jacobsen lies spread-eagle in the ring as Kane covers!}

IWF MAN OF STEEL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Extreme Rules
Zasshu vs Rob Diamond (C)
----------------------------------------------------------
Are you ready??
{ Jekyll and Hyde by FFDP hits the pa as the lights start to strobe pink. Rob Diamond slowly struts out onto the ramp as the crowd pops huge for him, he smiles and looks around the arena and slowly raises his arms over his head. Just as Jekyll and Hyde kicks into high gear he brings his arms down in an epic crotch chop as pink pyro explodes in an X behind him. He begins his march down the ramp slapping hands with fans holding signs for him and wearing his awesome t-shirts. He points here and there making certain women feel special and wet in their pants as he gets to the ring and in through the cage door. }
Allison Valance: Introducing to the ring at this time, weighing in at two hundred and four pounds, he is THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME! The King of Diamonds, The Xtreme American Dream, The Bloody Cinderella, The one and only, the Alpha and Omega, The beginning and the end, The baddest mama jama in the multiverse, You can't believe there's none better, Better than Butter, The Mad Titan, The Dark Lord of the Sith... THE MAN OF STEEL CHAMPION!!! THE INFAMOUS ROB DIAMOND!!!!!
{ Rob stands in the middle of the ring and asks the crowd for silence, he takes a mic as the crowd dies down and so does his music... }
Rob Diamond: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls and single ladies of ALL AGES!!!!!..... LETS GET READY TO SUCK IT!!!!!!!
{ He tosses the mic and hits one final crotch chop as the crowd goes nuts then rips the Man of Steel Championship off of his waist and holds it high over his head. }
Vasco Dias: I can't wait for Zasshu to wipe that smug look off his face.
Terri Morasco: What if Zasshu comes up short?
Vasco Dias: He won't.
{ The arena lights dim to a low hue as a golden spot light shines on the stage, the opening to Trivium's "Villainy Thrives" begins to play as the golden light strobes to the piano. Once the song kicks into gear Zasshu comes exploding out from the stage with a burst of pyro and to a boos from the crowd. He lands in a crouched position and looks all around before standing up and throws his arms out. Laura Howlett marches out from the back and walks beside Zasshu as they head toward the ring. Zasshu steps in through the cage door and looks out over the crowd while Laura stops at the end of the apron and watches with an approving smile. }
Vasco Dias: That right there is a true champion.
Terri Morasco: He's not the champion yet.
Vasco Dias: He will be.
{ The referee closes and locks the cage door and calls for the bell. Rob Diamond explodes out of his corner and crashes right into Zasshu with a series of right and left hands that knock the masked man back into his corner. Rob starts to viciously kick Zasshu in the gut before grabbing him by the head and spinning him face first into the cage wall. }
Vasco Dias: The referee needs to get this under control!
Terri Morasco: This is an Extreme Rules Man of Steel Match, there is no control!
{ Rob bashes Zasshu's face into the wall over and over and over again before finally just sending him flying with a release german suplex into the middle of the ring. Rob looks to the wall and unlatches a steel chair. }
Vasco Dias: I don't like this.
Terri Morasco: I'm sure Zasshu doesn't either but this is what he asked for when he attacked Rob Diamond.
{ Rob raises the chair up high and cracks it over the back of Zasshu as he tries to stand. Rob hits him again and again and again until the chair is literally bent in half over Zasshu's back at which point Rob just slams it down on him and walks over to another wall and starts to unhook a table that's hanging there. }
Vasco Dias: The referee needs to get involved.
Terri Morasco: He's just there to count the knockout or hear the submission.
Vasco Dias: He needs to do his damn job.
{ Rob props the table up in the corner of the ring and then turns his attention back to Zasshu who is trying to get up again before the ten count. Rob grabs him by the head and whips him hard into the propped up table. Rob lines up his shot and takes off looking for the spear but Zasshu rolls out of the way and Rob sends himself crashing through the table!!! }
Vasco Dias: YES!
{ Zasshu reaches up and pulls a kendo stick off the wall and begins to hit Rob with it as he lays in the rubble of the table. }
Vasco Dias: KILL HIM!!!!
Terri Morasco: Calm the hell down.
Vasco Dias: KILL HIM!!!!
{ Zasshu whips Rob over his back and shoulders as he lays in the wood before grabbing him around the throat with the stick and pulling Rob up to his feet. Zasshu uses the kendo stick around the throat of Rob Diamond to hit a modified release German suplex and drops Rob directly on his head! }
Terri Morasco: OH MY GOD!!!!
Vasco Dias: HE KILLED HIM!!!
{ Rob twitches on the mat as Zasshu pulls himself up on the ropes and watches as the referee counts. The referee hits six and Rob starts to move and by eight he is back up to his feet. }
Vasco Dias: NO!
{ Zasshu comes at Rob with a karate chop combo as he staggers backward. Zasshu grabs him around the head and runs up the ropes for SLICED BREAD!!! Zasshu quickly leaps up to the topped rope and is looking for the 450 splash but instead he climbs to the top of the cage and perches himself fifteen feet in the air. }
Vasco Dias: This is it, he's going to put Rob down for good!!!
{ Zasshu flies off with a 450 splash from the top of the cage but Rob grabs the kendo stick and holds it pointed end up first and Zasshu crashes down right on top of it and completely shatters the stick before rolling around the ring in pain! }
Terri Morasco: Rob with amazing ring awareness!
Vasco Dias: He could of broken Zasshu's sternum!
Terri Morasco: Well he deserved it in my opinion.
{ Rob pulls himself to his feet as Zasshu tries to get up, Rob clubs him over the back of the head and then drives him face first into the steel cage again. He picks Zasshu up over his shoulder and runs across the ring and throws him like a spear into the cage wall! }
Terri Morasco: Rob is getting nasty.
{ Diamond looks to another wall of the cage and pulls a trash can off the wall, he turns it upside down and dumps thumb tacks out in the center of the ring. }
Vasco Dias: Come on this has to be against the rules!
Terri Morasco: There are no rules!
{ Zasshu is back to his feet but Rob crushes the trash can over his back in one blow and it completely caves in on itself. Rob tosses the trash can aside and pulls Zasshu over to the thumb tacks, he sets him up for the Dominicus Pile Driver but Zasshu manages to fight it off, he reverses and gets Rob up for the Zasshu Driver on the thumb tacks!!!! }
Vasco Dias: HOLY CRAP!!!!
Terri Morasco: God...
{ Rob rolls off the tacks as Zasshu pulls himself back up to his feet looking around for something else to hit Rob with, his eyes lock on a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat and hops onto the ropes to pull it down. }
Terri Morasco: This is going from bad to worse!
{ Rob starts to pull himself up, his back bleeding from the dozens of little holes in it, Zasshu comes up from behind and hits him across the back with the bat and then drags the barbed wire over it like a cheese grater and opens up many more wounds! }
Terri Morasco: This is getting extremely brutal!
Vasco Dias: And soon we will have a new man of steel champion, a deserving one.
Terri Morasco: I won't take anything away from Zasshu, he's holding his own.
{ Zasshu turns Rob around and throws him into the corner, he raises the bat up and swings it but Rob moves out of the way as the bat comes down on the turnbuckle, shredding the padding. Rob connects with a right hand and then another, he grabs Zasshu and slams his face right into the barbed wire bat that is still latched onto the ripped up turnbuckle! }
Terri Morasco: OHHHH!!!
{ Rob rams his face into the barbed wire three more times, shredding Zasshu's mask before hitting him with a drop toe hold into the bat! }
Terri Morasco: Rob is unrelenting!
Vasco Dias: He's a mad man and he needs to be stopped.
{ Rob pulls Zasshu back up to his feet and throws him across the ring with a belly to belly suplex. Zasshu grabs for the ropes and tries to pull himself up to his feet and Rob comes running right at him but Zasshu connects with a super kick that rocks Rob's jaw. Zasshu connects with a step up knee to the face of Diamond. }
Terri Morasco: Zasshu is fighting back here.
{ Zasshu grabs him under the arms but Rob counters with a head butt and grabs Zasshu for a release over head belly to belly suplex and dumps Zasshu against the cage door. Rob stumbles toward another steel chair hanging off a wall of the cage and rips it down. Zasshu pulls himself up on the ropes against the wall and Rob comes running at him, he braces the chair and SPEARS ZASSHU WITH THE CHAIR AND BOTH MEN GOING CRASHING THROUGH THE CAGE DOOR AND ONTO THE ARENA FLOOR!!!! }
Terri Morasco: They crashed through the door! They crashed through the door!
Vasco Dias: You can't leave the cage! This match should be over and Zasshu declared the winner!
{ Both men are down laying in the wreckage of the door and the chair, blood oozing out from various wounds as the referee starts his count. }
Terri Morasco: He's counting! We could have a double knock out!
Vasco Dias: No! There has to be a winner!
{ The referee hits four then five and six. Neither man moves. }
Terri Morasco: I don't believe this!
{ Seven. Eight. They both start to move and pull themselves up. Nine! THEY BOTH REACH THEIR FEET! }
Terri Morasco: They just barely beat the count.
Vasco Dias: This is insane!
{ Rob throws a right, Zasshu throws a right, then Rob, then Zasshu. They go back and forth but Rob starts to get the upper hand and goes to throw Zasshu into the steps but Zasshu turns it around and throws Rob into the steel steps. He sits against the steps and Zasshu drills him with a knee to the face. Zasshu pulls Rob up and rips the top of the steps off, he grabs Rob again and hits him with a power bomb on the lower half of the steps! }
Terri Morasco: Rob's back is taking some serious punishment.
Vasco Dias: Zasshu is looking to end him.
{ Zasshu peels him off the steps and then walks him down the side of the cage, dragging his face along the chain link and then whipping him hard into the front of the announce table. }
Terri Morasco: Time to move!
{ Terri and Vasco get out of the way as Zasshu goes to pick Rob up but Diamond counters with a kick between the legs and a DIAMOND CUTTER!!!! The crowd pops huge as Rob staggers to his feet, seemingly out of it. He pulls Zasshu u to his feet and rolls him onto the announce table. }
Terri Morasco: This isn't going to be good.
Vasco Dias: Zasshu needs to get off the table and kick some ass.
{ Rob starts to climb the side of the cage. }
Terri Morasco: Where's he going!?
{ Rob reaches the top of the cage, Zasshu is still out of it. Rob pulls himself up using the cables for support, hits a massive crotch chop and then leaps off with the FIFTY STAR FROG SPLASH!!!!! }
Terri Morasco: OH MY GOD!!!!!
{ Rob crashes down on top of Zasshu and completely obliterates the announce table! }
Vasco Dias: Jesus...
{ Both men just lay there, unmoving. }
Terri Morasco: They may be dead...
Vasco Dias: I hope one of them is.
{ A blond haired girl suddenly jumps the barrier and rushes over to Rob's side as he rolls off of Zasshu. }
Vasco Dias: Who the hell is that!?
Terri Morasco: I'm not sure but she looks very concerned.
{ She's checking on Rob trying to see if he's ok but he isn't answering her. The referee reaches the count of six and neither man has really moved. }
Vasco Dias: She can't be out here.
Terri Morasco: Well tell her yourself.
{ The referee hits Eight and the blond haired girl starts to help Rob up when ALEXIS CAFFREY COMES RUNNING AROUND THE SIDE OF THE CAGE AND SUPER KICKS THE BLOND!!!! }
Terri Morasco: WHAT THE HELL!!!
{ Rob is barely on his feet, the referee has stopped counting, he looks from the blond to Alexis and looks pissed, he starts to move toward her but MIKE LASZLO COMES OUT OF THE CROWD AND SPINS ROB AROUND FOR MALICIOUS INTENT!!!! }
Terri Morasco: Mike Laszlo and Alexis Caffrey!!!! Mike Laszlo is back and he's looking to cost Rob the Man of Steel Championship!
Vasco Dias: Thank god for Mike Laszlo.
{ Mike turns to Zasshu who still hasn't moved and pulls the bloody masked man to his feet. Rob starts to come to but Mike peels the padding up off the concrete floor. Zasshu comes to and together they pull Rob up, Zasshu connects with the CIESTA KICK! And Laszlo hits him with another MALICIOUS INTENT ON THE CONCRETE!!!! }
Terri Morasco: This is bad.
{ Alexis laughs hysterically as she grabs the blond by the hair and screams into her face "This is what you get for dating dirt bags!" She slams the blonds head back onto the padded floor as Zasshu yells at the referee to count. }
Terri Morasco: This can't end like this.
Vasco Dias: It sure as hell can, Rob shouldn't of asked for Extreme Rules.
{ The referee counts. ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! Rob isn't moving and Zasshu has already collected the Championship belt. Mike stands over Rob. FIVE! SIX! }
Terri Morasco: This is a travesty!
Vasco Dias: This is justice!
{ SEVEN! EIGHT! Rob starts to claw at the boot of Laszlo. NINE! TEN!!!! }
Alison Valance: Your winner and NEW MAN OF STEEL CHAMPION!!!! ZASSHU!!!!!
Terri Morasco: NO! This is total horse shit!
Vasco Dias: This is what happens when you cross the boss!
{ Laszlo stomps on Rob again as Zasshu holds the Man of Steel Championship up over his head. The crowd boos unrelentingly. }
Terri Morasco: This is not how this match should have gone.
Vasco Dias: Too bad, because this is how it went and it's all Rob's fault.
{ Laszlo takes Alexis in his arms and the two beam with pride over what they've done. Zasshu stands at the top of the ramp now as pyro goes off all around him, the Man of Steel Championship still being held high over his head. }

IWF DIAMONDS CHAMPIONSHIP
FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH
Crystal Millar vs Fiona McFly vs Emma Danielson vs Alexis Caffrey (C)
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is the FATAL FOUR WAY MATCH for the IWF DIAMONDS CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
{The crowd pops as the announcers hype us on the Title Match upcoming.}
Vasco Dias: The queen of the ring has been put as some insurmountable odds. This just isn’t fair.
Terri Morasco: Alexis and the Garcias made her bed, and now she’s stuck defending the title against three women who they’ve had a gripe with in the past.
Alison Valance: Introducing first…
{The crunching opening riff of “Coming Undone” plays as Emma Danielson stalks quietly out onto the stage, cracking her neck. She rolls her wrists, eyes slowly scanning the audience before she walks down to the ring, eyes narrowed and focused on the ring. Emma stalks up the ring steps, ducking between the ropes and walking to the far turnbuckle. She climbs it, throwing her fist up in the air and thumping her chest as she shouts at the crowd. Emma lowers her arm, hopping down and cracking her knuckles as the music fades.}
Alison Valance: From Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, weighing in at 157 pounds…the HARD-CORE HELLION…EMMAAAA DANIELSON!
Vasco Dias: This is Kathleen Conway’s help for Alexis? She’s putting her in here because they’re buddies. What the hell has Emma done to deserve this?
Terri Morasco: She is the insurance policy against the dual threat of Crystal and Fiona McFly. She has a laundry list of accomplishments…
Vasco Dias: NOT HERE!
Terri Morasco: Regardless, her past speaks for itself.
Alison Valance: And one of her opponents…
{"I'm Shipping Up to Boston" by Dropkick Murphys kicks into high gear as Fiona McFly marches out on stage, takes a bow, and heads down to the ring--giving lucky fans quick pecks on the cheek along the way.}
Alison Valance: From Belfast, Ireland, FIONA…MCFLYYYYY!
Terri Morasco: She came to the rescue of Crystal last week on Sacrifice as she was looking like she was going to get decimated by the vicious trio of Alexis and the Garcias.
Vasco Dias: So just like that, she’s in a title match? WHAT IS CONWAY THINKING!?
Alison Valance: And the third challenger…

THE SILVER SCREEN QUEEN IS HERE!!!!
I’m Coming Out by Diana Ross begins to blast all across the speakers and as that happens we are able to see Christina Millar emerging through the backstage curtain and the roaring boos of the crowd are deafening. She isn’t alone as her husband Jonathan comes out beside her. Crystal smiles as her grouping of paparazzi gather up in front of the ring and they snag photo after of the Latina beauty. She walks down the ramp as she begins to pie face the crowd. The crowd boos loudly in return as they glance back at the Hollywood hottie, and Jonathan stays attached to his wife.
Her following of paparazzi meet her as does a red carpet. She takes in appeal of the cameras smiling as flashes begin to go off one after another. She then runs up the steps where she walks towards the middle of the apron. She blows kisses out to the crowd before she drops into a split entering the ring. The crowd begins to go nuts and she waits patiently for the match to begin.}
Alison Valance: From Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 120 pounds…The Silver Screen Queen…CRYSTAAAAAAL HILTOOOOON!
Vasco Dias: Another undeserving. Alexis BEAT HER LAST WEEK!
Terri Morasco: To be fair though, she’s beaten all of these women at one point or another. This might be Ms. Conway’s hope that maybe one of them learned from their mistake, and can capitalize on it here tonight.
Alison Valance: And now…the champion.
Vasco Dias: Here we go…
{“Cult of Love” by Living Colour hits the sound system with a slow piano theme. The drums beat as "Cult of Personality" is mashed in just as Alexis and The Garcias walk out onto the stage. The two step back and let Alexis pose with the Diamonds Title for the crowd who show their distain while The Garcias applaud with a huge smiles on their faces. Alexis skips toward the ring as the twins follow.}
Alison Valance: Making her way to the ring accompanied by the Garcia Twins, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 115 pounds, she is the IWF DIAMONDS CHAMPION...ALEXIS…CAAAAAAFFREY!!
Vasco Dias: The queen in all her glory. The Era of Caffrey is upon you Terri.
Terri Morasco: If by the Era of Scandal and Cheating, you’d be correct.
Vasco Dias: When are you going to learn numb-skull, it doesn’t matter how you win…as long as you win!
{She gets to the ring and climbs up on the apron and into the ring. She holds the title over her head with one hand, her other arm outstretched as she twirls for the admiration of the crowd before backing into the ropes, perching herself on the middle rope, waiting for the match to begin.}
Terri Morasco: This should be an action packed match. The only thing I’m worried about is the Garcia Twins at ringside, clearly giving an advantage to the champion.
Vasco Dias: Giving an advantage to the champion!? If anything it’s leveling the playing field. Alexis doesn’t have to be involved in the decision and on top of that, she’s in there with three women who don’t like her.
{The referee holds up the Diamonds Title.}
Terri Morasco: That’s what this match is all about…the coveted Diamonds Championship.
{The referee hands the belt off to the time keeper and rings the bell.}
Terri Morasco: And here we go folks.
{The four Diamonds move a few steps closer to the center of the ring before the other three women fixate on the champion with smiles on their faces. Alexis realizes this and her eyes start darting from side to side before she bolts from the situation, sliding out under the bottom rope, escaping harm before turning back and yelling at her challengers.}
Vasco Dias: See? I told you this wasn’t fair! They’re all after her!
Terri Morasco: If they take her out of the equation, they guarantee a new champion by the time this thing is over.
{The three challengers get out of the ring and surround Alexis and the Garcias on the outside. The threesome are back to back in a triangle before the other girls charge in and a massive brawl starts on the outside of the ring! Emma and Sara go at it while Crystal and Paige go at it on the other hand, and it’s Alexis and Fiona in the middle.}
Terri Morasco: This is chaos out here!
Vasco Dias: Well, that’s what happens when people attack innocent bystanders.
{The group separates as Crystal and Emma continue the assault on the Garcias as Fiona grabs Alexis by the hair and rolls her into the ring. Fiona follows and seems to have the champ in dire straits as she gets to her feet and pulls Alexis to hers, flipping her arm overhead and hitting the champion with a Snap Suplex. She gets to her feet, pulling Alexis to hers again and hitting a picture perfect Dropkick!}
Terri Morasco: Fiona seems to be stepping up her game here.
Vasco Dias: Weather the storm champ…weather the storm.
{Fiona grabs hold of Alexis a third time, but Emma comes in from behind and clubs Fiona in the back of the head with a huge clothesline before grabbing the champ herself and hoisting her on her shoulders, running across the ring and delivering the Running Powerslam. She hooks the leg and gets a two count before Crystal dives in and interrupts the pin attempt, kneeing Emma in the back of the head. She then grabs the Hardcore Hellion and delivers a standing Enziguri as Emma tries to get to her feet. Crystal then grabs Alexis as Emma rolls out of the ring and flips her over with a Snapmare Takedown, where she then plants a boot into the spine of Alexis who cries out in pain.}
Vasco Dias: Everyone taking their shots at the champ…this isn’t fair.
Terri Morasco: It’s all fair sir…all fair.
{Crystal stalks the champion before grabbing her by the legs and trying to turn her over into the Elevated Boston Crab that she calls the “Withering Rose”, and does get her turned over, only to have her head nearly taken off by Fiona with a Spinning Wheel Kick. Alexis rolls out of the ring, joining Emma on the floor while Fiona grabs Crystal and executes another Snap Suplex. She floats over into the cover but only gets a two count with Crystal kicking out.}
Terri Morasco: Fiona is Suplexing everyone in sight.
Vasco Dias: There’s a bit of improvement in her game, but she hasn’t done anything yet.
{Fiona goes to capitalize but it’s Emma, grabbing her by the hair and pulling her under the bottom rope and to the outside before whipping her by the head into the barricade at ringside. Fiona crashes hard and falls to the floor while Crystal runs to one side of the ring and dives through the ropes, nailing Emma with a Suicide Dive!}
Terri Morasco: And Crystal taking out Emma!
Vasco Dias: She put it on the line there.
{Alexis grabs Crystal by the hair and throws her into the barricade as well before rolling back into the ring.}
Terri Morasco: What’s she doing?
{Alexis climbs to the top turnbuckle as the other Diamonds are getting back up on the outside.}
Vasco Dias: LOOK OUT!
{Alexis dives off with a modified Crossbody, taking everyone, herself included to the ground as the referee looks at the destruction on the outside.}
Terri Morasco: All of these women are showing what it means to them to be Diamonds Champion!
Vasco Dias: And the champ is showing what she’ll do to keep it.
{Slowly, Alexis is first to her feet, grabbing hold of Crystal who was getting up herself and hurling her into the ring with what strength she had. Alexis then rolls Fiona in as well. The two in the ring are slow to their feet as Alexis demands the Garcias to lift Emma, to which they oblige. They then let go as Alexis unleashes a harsh kick to the side of the head of Emma, knocking her limp to the floor.}
Vasco Dias: What a shot!
Terri Morasco: The Garcias helping the champion again.
Vasco Dias: There’s no DQs, it’s a Fatal Four Way.
{Alexis goes to slide in the ring where Crystal is waiting, leaping into the air to deliver an elbow, but again the Garcias get involved, grabbing Alexis, and pulling her out of the ring to avoid the contact!}
Terri Morasco: Damn it!
Vasco Dias: Calm down.
{Fiona capitalizes, grabbing hold of Crystal and locking her in the Shamlock…pulling her to the center of the ring!}
Vasco Dias: What the…
Terri Morasco: She’s got her locked in the Shamlock and Crystal looks like she’s in some trouble here!
{Crystal struggles and looks like she’s about to tap out when Alexis lunges into the ring and holds both of her hands up as she writhes in pain!}
Terri Morasco: Crystal might be trying to tap.
Vasco Dias: But Alexis won’t let her!
{Crystal screams before Emma rolls into the ring, grabs Fiona by the hair, and throws her out of the ring over the top rope, Fiona landing hard on the floor!}
Vasco Dias: Well, that’s a way down.
Terri Morasco: She landed awkwardly on that ankle.
{Emma then drops an elbow on Alexis before she could get up. She then grabs Crystal by the hair and pulls her into and lifts her up for the Detoxifier…HITTING IT! Emma scrambles for the cover, but Crystal rolls out of the ring.}
Terri Morasco: Great ring awareness by the veteran Crystal.
Vasco Dias: Emma screwed up again.
{Emma can’t believe her luck as she stands to her feet kicking the bottom rope. She doesn’t see behind her, Alexis blowing her a kiss and as Emma turns…KISS GOODNIGHT! (Spinning Codebreaker)}
Vasco Dias: YES!
{Alexis hooks the leg…
1!
2!}
Terri Morasco: What the hell?
Vasco Dias: PERFECT!
{The Garcias are on each side of the ring and grabbing hold of the legs of both Crystal and Fiona who are scraping and crawling to break up the pin only to watch the referee’s hand come down again…
3!
The bell rings!}
Terri Morasco: I can’t believe this!
{The Garcias let go of the other contenders before rolling in the ring as the referee hands Alexis the title as she raises it in triumph.}
Vasco Dias: She’s done it! She’s defied the dastardly odds!
Alison Valance: Here is your winner…AND STILL…IWF…DIAMONDS CHAMPION…ALEXIS..CAFFFFFREY!!!
Terri Morasco: She stole the damn match again!
Vasco Dias: She took advantage of the opportunity…again.
{Crystal and Fiona slide into the ring and charge the threesome who duck out of harm’s way and back up the ramp as “Cult of Love” plays throughout the arena. Alexis holds the title in the air as she and the Garcia Twins laugh at the two standing in the ring, clearly disappointed.}

Vasco Dias: Now, it’s time for the main event of the evening! I can’t wait, two veterans going one on one until only one emerges victorious.
Terri Morasco: Many are calling this a match draped in nepotism and favoritism, they accuse Verona of just giving his friends handouts, that this is just a chance for them both to boost their own egos.
Vasco Dias: Have you been reading the dirt sheets again, Morasco? Who cares what other people think, they’re often ill-informed. This isn’t a time for stupid conspiracy theories, it’s a time to enjoy two wrestlers in their prime who know how to put on a show.
Alison Valance: The following contest is schedule for one fall and is for the Imperial Championship!
{The lights in the arena dim with the opening chords and then start to flash red, green, yellow and purple in rotation as the synthesized guitar riff kicks in. The big screen shows the silhouette of a woman with her hair blowing across her face and holding a playing card between the forefingers of her right hand, she flips it over in her fingers to reveal the Ace Of Spades, the symbol grows out of the card and gets larger with every repetition of the guitar riff until it envelops the screen. Huge flame pyros explode either side of the ramp as cards begin to fall from the rafters. As the lyrics to 'Voodoo Child' by Brick + Mortar begin, the circular platform on which The Ace is stood with his back towards us and the Union Jack draped across his shoulders, starts to turn.
Well I stand up next to a mountain...
The platform is decorated to look like a roulette wheel.
Well I stand up next to a mountain...
Slowly it spins a full one-eighty degrees as we now see The Ace take a swig from the water bottle in his right hand and spit the water in the air. After this Kathy Conway appears on stage beside her husband and takes his hand as she leads him off the platform. He throws the bottle to one side.
Well I pick up all the pieces, maybe even make, maybe there's a little sand...
Well I pick up all the pieces, maybe even make, maybe there's a little sand...
The couple walks down through the shower of falling cards, hand in hand, Kathy carrying her husband's rake in her other hand.
Well I stand up next to a mountain
And I chop it down with the edge of my hand
Well I stand up next to a mountain
And I chop it down with the edge of my hand
The Ace gets to the foot of the ramp and the cards stop falling, the couple share a kiss before The Ace enters the ring himself, climbing the steel steps and getting the official to part the ropes for him as he steps through them. He walks over to the adjacent turnbuckle, climbing the second rope whilst an armed Kathy stays at ringside.
The Ace raises both arms in the air.
'Cause I'm a voodoo child, yeah
Lord knows I'm a voodoo child
'Cause I'm a voodoo child
Lord knows I'm a voodoo child
The Ace climbs down and hands the flag over to a stagehand before he walks to the middle of the ring, and the song fades...}
Alison Valance: Introducing first, the challenger, now residing in Las Vegas, Nevada and weighing in at 260lbs, Jake “The Ace” Conway!
Terri Morasco: People have criticized how Jake won his shot in this match, but arguably they have short memories. Conway was one of the best Man of Steel champions in company history, arguably he earned his chance with that run.
Vasco Dias: Let’s not forget that Jake has only had one shot at this belt in IWF’s entire history before tonight, against Angel Blake, he will be desperate to not go 0-2.
Terri Morasco: Can Jake finally silence the critics?
{The lights in the arena all go out at "King of the World" by Porcelain and the Tramps begins to blare out of the PA system. Spotlights begin to scan the crowd before fixating on a figure at the top of the stage which is revealed to be Roberto Verona, his head bowed towards the floor. As cheers being to resonate around the arena Verona raises his head and he begins a slow methodical march down the ramp, the spotlight following him as golden pyro rains down from above on the stage. Verona stares with disgust at the crowd who cheer him as he approaches the ring, but he doesn't react to them. As he reaches the steps he slowly ascends them before walking towards the middle of the ring apron, turning around to look into the crowd one last time before looking up and closing his eyes as he stretches his arms out wide and basks in the adulation. After indulging himself Verona climbs into the ring, psyching himself up as he awaits the beginning of the match.}
Alison Valance: And his opponent, from Firenze, Italy, weighing in at 220lbs, he is the reigning, defending Imperial Champion and COO of IWF, Roberto Verona!
Vasco Dias: Verona will be determined tonight to prove a lot of his doubters wrong. So many people have criticized him for his title reign.
Terri Morasco: Nobody likes to see the boss succeed, arguably his recent behavior justifies their feelings.
Vasco Dias: Then they’re idiots too, Verona did what everyone wanted and got rid of Renee Pleasant’s reign of terror, he has nothing to apologize for.
{The referee holds the Imperial Title high in the air. He then hands it to ringside and signals for the bell as the two friends stare one another down. The two show some sportsmanship and shake hands with one another, but quickly turn it into a tug of war with Ace pulling Roberto into a headlock before Roberto pushes Ace up against the ropes, shooting him to the far side, leap frogging him as Ace goes to the other ropes before trying to grab him by the hair and throw him over the top rope, only to have it reversed and have Ace throw Roberto into the ropes, and upon return, duck under him against the mat, and then trying to execute a Superkick, but Roberto grabs hold of the ropes, stopping all momentum to avoid the kick before lunging forward, attempting his own, but Ace ducks and tries to twist him into a Spinning Neckbreaker, but Roberto gets out of it and turns it into a Backslide cover, only to get a one before Ace rolls out of it and sweeps the legs of Roberto, jack knifing him with a pin attempt of his own, also only getting a one count. After the kickout, the two stand to their feet as the crowd applauds the stalemate.}
Vasco Dias: These two know each other so well.
Terri Morasco: That they do. It’s going to take a mistake for someone to get the upperhand.
{The two lock up again and it’s The Ace going behind and grabbing Roberto by the neck and trying to get a neckbreaker again, but Roberto counters, spinning Ace frontward into a knee to the gut followed by a swift DDT!}
Terri Morasco: The first real move of the match and it’s a hard DDT from the COO.
{Verona pushes his way past the official as he stalks after Conway, who has retreated to the corner before running at him to land a clothesline which takes the wind out of the challenger and sends him down to the mat. Verona senses blood and begins to stomp on his fallen comrade before the official finally pulls him away. Roberto is furious and he pushes the official sending him staggering backwards before he turns back around, but as the official is momentarily distracted Jake reaches up and rakes across Verona’s eyes! The champ is taken by surprised and stagger backwards clutching his face as Jake Conway grins from ear to ear. Verona falls to the mat as Jake picks himself up, clearly pleased with himself.}
Terri Morasco: What a cheap shot, but you could argue Verona deserved it for the way he treated the official.
Vasco Dias: Screw the official, he was getting in the way of a good fight!
{Verona rolls around in pain as Jake begins to stalk over his pray, leaning down to try and throw some punches to the champion but as he does so Verona grabs his shoulders and lashing out with a fast knee straight to the regions Kat Conway is most likely to be concerned about. The official doesn’t quite catch the desperate low blow but Jake feels the full effects as he grabs his crotch and tumbles to the mat. Both men clutch to their respective injuries, clearly in visible pain as the official does his best to check on both men whilst Kathy looks on horrified.}
Vasco Dias: Maybe Jake won’t be celebrating as much as he’d like tonight!
Terri Morasco: Some would call it karma, I’d still call it cheating.
Vasco Dias: Nobody cares what you’d call it, Morasco.
{Jake wrenches in the Trente et Quarante tightly, locking Verona in squarely in the middle of the ring. The situation is looking increasingly grim for the Imperial Champion who shakes his head and pounds the mat with his fist to try and re-direct the pain. Jake keeps pulling as hard as he can as he tries his best to force Verona to submit, but thus far it is to no avail. The official drops to his knees and asks Verona if he wants to give up but the champion shakes his head before spitting something out to the referee who suddenly looks incredibly puzzled. The official hesitates as he seems to ask Verona if he is sure, the champion nods his head as best he can as the referee stands to his feet and leans through the ropes to tell Alison Valance something. Alison looks a little confused but raises the microphone to her lips.}
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentleman, I have been informed that an amendment to this contest’s stipulation has been made. This match may now only end in a pin fall, count out or failure by both competitors to answer a ten count.
Vasco Dias: Ha ha! Brilliant! Verona just changed the stipulation!
Terri Morasco: What the hell is this? This isn’t fair!
Vasco Dias: Nothing is fair in war, Morasco.
{Jake looks up with a surprised look on his face as he relinquishes the hold. Conway gets to his knees and shakes his head, but as we can see he as a knowing smile on his face as he even seems to laugh whilst nodding his head. Conway stands up with his hands on his hips as the referee seems to apologize to him but Jake doesn’t seem to care as he pushes the official out of his way before proceeding to stamp on Verona’s back and the back of his head to ensure that, despite his setback, he remains in the ascendency. Ace jumps in the air and plants a few elbows into the hurting spine of Verona who, despite escaping the submission, still looks in a bad way.}
Terri Morasco: So The Ace has him in a bad way, and the boss changes the rules. I thought this was going to be a fair fight?
Vasco Dias: These two know each other so well. You gotta believe they know each other’s tricks.
{The Ace walks up and drops a knee right into the small of the back of the champion who writhes in pain as Ace pulls him up to his feet, throwing him into the ropes, and upon return, lifts him and spins him through the air, taking him down hard with a Tilt-a-Whirl Slam, hooking the leg and only getting a two count much to his chagrin. Ace nods to himself as he stares down at his opponent who rolls to his stomach.}
Terri Morasco: It seems like the Ace knows what he needs to do.
Vasco Dias: He may, but then again…he may not.
{Ace stalks Verona who is up on all fours and soon to his feet, back turned to The Ace who locks him up for the Russian Roulette but Verona drops to his knees, bringing Ace over his head, rolling forward. As Ace stands Verona gets up and grabs him from behind, lifting him into the air and hitting an Inverted Brainbuster! Both men lie on the mat as the referee counts.}
Vasco Dias: Back and forth they go.
Terri Morasco: This is the teacher and the student in many respects.
{The referee gets to five before Roberto crawls into a cover after the big move, but only gets a two count as The Ace shoots the shoulder off the mat. Roberto rolls to his back and both men gingerly start to get to their feet before trading blows. Roberto finally hits a shot that rocks Ace into the ropes, where he bounces him to the far side and goes to level him with the “Silencer” Superkick, but Ace ducks it, stops on a dime, and plants Roberto with THE RUSSIAN ROULETTE! Ace shoots the half and hooks the leg…
1!
2!!
NO!
Ace sits up and smacks the mat in frustration.}
Terri Morasco: They’re hitting each other with their best moves here.
Vasco Dias: And it just isn’t enough to keep the other man down.
{Kathy at ringside, grabs hold of a chair from under the ring and sets it in the corner, opposite the referee, behind his back. She then heads to the side as Ace stands and Roberto is getting to his feet. Ace grabs hold of the chair as Kathy climbs up on the apron…}
Vasco Dias: He wouldn’t?
Terri Morasco: Perhaps there’s a lesson left to teach?
{Roberto is on all fours and looks at Jake, noticing Kathy’s distraction. He stands and he and Jake stare at one another as Conway’s grip around the chair tightens whilst the official is distracted by Kathy at ringside. Verona braces himself as Jake raises the chair above his head, shutting his eyes as he prepares for the impact as a sickening crunch is heard. Verona stands, still bracing himself before opening eye…. Where he notices that Jake has not only let go of the chair, but its writhing around in “agony” on the mat. Verona’s eyes open in a wide panic as he looks around desperately, noticing that suddenly Kathy seems to be relinquishing her apparent objections. Verona suddenly freeze still before he too suddenly hits the deck, clutching his face. The official turns around, staring at the battered steel chair between the pair as both men writhe in pain. The referee stands with his hands on his hips looking down at the pair. }
Terri Morasco: Look at these two, they just can’t help themselves!
Vasco Dias: It’s called playing possum, Morasco.
Terri Morasco: Do you even know what the means you idiot?
Vasco Dias: There’s no need for profanities!
{The official shakes his head as both men peer through their fingers, suddenly realizing the ploy isn’t quite going as planned. Both of them suddenly make a miraculous recovery as they plead their cases to the official on their knees, demanding that he punish the other. The referee raises his hands and refuses to make a decision, remind both men that he didn’t see any offence take place as the pair turn to stare at one another. Both men are clearly frustrated that yet another one of their ruses hasn’t seemed to outfox the other before they begin to shout at one another before seemingly nodding. Suddenly Ace throws a right hand which gets the noise levels in the building amped up before Verona retaliates with one of his own as the pair begin to exchange blows. As each one throws a punch they gradually get to one knee before lifting themselves up, continuing to throw punch after punch which seems to have fired up this capacity crowd.}
Terri Morasco: Looks like both men realize they’ve conned their way to a stalemate.
Vasco Dias: Neither man is capable of out cunning the other it seems, looks like we’re in for a good old fashioned fight!
Terri Morasco: It’s about God damn time.
{The wild punching continues, with both men even going for a knee at the same time before falling to the mat and rolling over the bottom rope, tumbling to the outside where both men separate holding their ribs after the fall. They get up and Roberto throws the first punch on the outside, but Ace retaliates. Roberto goes to retaliate but Ace ducks and shoves his friend’s face into the steel ring post. Verona bounces and stumbles to his knees, grasping hold of the barrier to pull himself back up. He stumbles along to the bend in the barrier by the time keeper and Ace stops in his tracks…thinking of his next move before charging full speed toward Verona…SPEARING HIM THROUGH THE BARRIER! The crowd goes nuts as the referee is up to five in his count.}
Terri Morasco: The Ace showing what it means to him to become the Imperial Champion!
Vasco Dias: He sure the hell is with that move! He could have killed him!
{Ace is to his feet, stumbling toward the ring as the referee hits seven. He rolls in the ring, but quickly realizes he can’t win the title via count out and rolls back under the ring rope to the floor, breaking the referee’s count before rolling Roberto into the ring, scrambling as much as he can for the cover…
1!
2!!
NO! SOMEHOW VERONA GETS THE SHOULDER UP!
Ace can’t believe it, holding up three fingers and the referee just shakes his head.}
Terri Morasco: The resiliency of the champion to not relinquish what is his!
Vasco Dias: Don’t EVER question that man’s passion!
{Ace pushes himself to his feet as Verona starts to stir, but is quickly picked up by the challenger who boots him in the gut and runs to the ropes, jumping in the air, looking for a FameAcer, only for Roberto to stand up, taking hold of him under the arms, and falling forward with all his strength, nailing Ace with a “Fallen Idol” Crucifix Powerbomb!}
Terri Morasco: How the hell did he do that?
Vasco Dias: He’s not the Imperial Champion for no reason Terri!
{Both men are down and breathing heavy. Ace looks like he’s out, and Roberto is trying to catch any semblance of sense and put it back in his head. He starts the slow crawl, draping his arm over Conway…
ONE!
TWO!
THRE…NO!}
Vasco Dias: How the hell did he kick out of that!?
Terri Morasco: I don’t know how much these two have left!
{Both are barely moving, yet crawling to the ropes to pull themselves up. They both get to their feet and lunge at one another with duel Superkicks, standing each other straight up before The Ace falls flat on his back with Verona falling into the ropes, then back ON TOP OF CONWAY…
1!
2!!
3!!!
The bell rings as Kathy enters the ring and Hannah Reed comes rushing down the ramp, sliding into the ring to check on each man as the winner is announced.}
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this contest…and STILL IWF IMPERIAL CHAMPION…ROBERTOOOOOOO VERONAAAA!
{The women tend to their men as ringside medical staff rush in to check on them as well. After a few moments, they get both to sit up and after a sip of water or two are pulled to their feet, meeting in the middle of the ring, first shaking hands and falling into each other’s arms with an embrace, propped up by those who surround them.}
Terri Morasco: A hell of a match to end the show!
Vasco Dias: Like them or hate them…they put on a match for the ages and gave it their all.
Terri Morasco: I’m Terri Morasco, he’s Vasco Dias…we hope you enjoyed the telecast…GOODNIGHT EVERYBODY!
{The two head up the ramp, surrounded by staff and their respective female counterparts, turning to acknowledge the crowd who cheer out of respect, Ace holding Roberto’s hand in the air as the scene goes black.}
