- Recent speculation suggests that the Mike Laszlo and Rob Diamond match is yet to be set in stone by the company. IWF are reportedly keen to keep the exact stipulation close to their chests as fans continue to speculate online to create more interest in one of the key matches on the upcoming Danger Zone card after Rob Diamond's match at Open Fight Night created a large amount of uncertainty around the bout. Our sources previously understood that it was likely Laszlo would go over in his first major match since returning, but apparently this may no longer be the case with company toying with the idea of keeping Diamond looking strong going into is match with Roberto Verona.
- Speaking of Verona, it has been revealed that the major reason for his absence over the past month, and subsequent removal from the Danger Zone card is down to a rotator cuff problem which was exacerbated during his match with Jake "The Ace " Conway. IWF were keen to gloss over this in kayfabe and utilised it as an opportunity to garner the COO more heat. It as yet unclear what exact role he will play at Danger Zone, if any.
- In other news, we can confirm that the recent departure of Nighthawk was indeed a shock to those involved in the higher echelons of the company, resulting in the vague announcement that he had been released from his contract at IWF. Senior management were reportedly surprised by Nighthawk's request, which is rumoured to centre around his belief that he cannot continue with the hectic schedule IWF employees are expected to perform. No animosity between either party is understood to exist and the door appears firmly open for any future appearances.
- After earlier rumours were originally denied, our sources can reveal that Mercedes Vargas was fined by senior management for arriving late to the arena on a number of occasions over recent months. Management is reportedly frustrated with the outspoken Latina, who they are keen to try and help progress with her current onscreen fued with Kat Conway.
