It had been months, though it seemed like years, since he had set foot inside of a professional wrestling ring. The urge to maim and destroy had long since left him, filled instead with a desire to love and be loved by the family he had adopted as his own.
“Come play with me daddy!”
The little red headed girl he referred to as his daughter squealed as she ran past him in the kitchen of his white picket fence raised ranch in the middle of suburbia. He laughed as she passed and followed suit as she bolted out the rear sliding door onto the dark stained porch.
“Catch me!”
“There’s no escape!”
The two laughed as the little girl ran down the steps, her “father” close behind as she leaped from the second to last step onto the soft green grass, her hands bracing her fall. He leaped behind her from slightly higher up on the steps and came down with a crash, she shrieked as she looked up into his cold black eyes.
“I’m going to get you!”
He reached out for her with his pale granite like hands but she forward rolled out of his reach and jumped to her feet with a giggle.
“No you aren’t!”
She took off with a start toward the in ground pool still covered from the moderate winter that seemed to be nearly over. He watched for a moment with a proud look in his eyes, the black fading to a dark brown as he smiled.
“”I’m too fast for you!”
“We’ll see about that!”
He took off after her but she dipped to the right onto the stone patio and bounded over the lawn chairs, her “father” closing in on her.
“Nooooo!”
“Here I come!”
He reached out for her, his long talon like fingers about to grip the hood of her sweat shirt when a voice from the porch distracted both of them.
“Hey you two! Dinners ready!”
They both looked up to the beautiful auburn haired woman standing on the porch, smiling from ear to ear at her husband and daughter playing in the yard. She shook her head with a laugh, turning her back on the two of them and heading into the house.
“Come on Daddy!”
The little red haired girl danced around her “father” as she started back toward the porch. He held back for a moment just to watch as she went, a smile on his face, happy, content, with no regret for the life he left behind…
A life that was full of blood, torment, pain and a never ending lust for more. More blood, more torment, more pain but most of all… More power…
The power was intoxicating like a drug, he was the addict, always returning for another quick fix until the night was over and he was left craving all over again the following morning. He closed his eyes now, remembering how it all felt, how depraved and hopeless he was, how evil he had once become.
But the life was over now, this family, his wife, their children, it filled him in a way the wrestling ring never could…
That’s what he told himself every night right before he closed his eyes, fighting the urge to victimize the lovely woman who slept by his side…

It feels like it has been an eternity since I have addressed you…
My children…
Like a tired old shepherd I left you…
My flock…
In my absence the wolves have moved in…
One by one they have picked you apart to the bare bone…
Leaving you for dead…
I am so sorry that I was not there for you…
That my hand was not present to guide you…
But fear not my children fore I have returned…
And with me…
So has justice…
No longer will you have to live in fear of tyrants and monsters…
No longer will you be left wondering about your fate…
No longer will false Gods reign over you…
Fore I have returned…
Bask in my glory…
Feel protected in my light…
Bow before me…
And worship me…
Fore there is no God before me…
There is no idol before me…
There is no one…
But me…
The Alpha…
The Omega…
The beginning…
The end…
The once and future Imperial Champion…
I make my return at High Stakes…
I will set foot once again in the Roulette…
I will eliminate the infidels who stand in my way…
And at Night of the Immortals…
I reclaim my throne….
Those who fall to their knees now…
Will be spared…
Those who choose to stand in opposition of me…
Will burn forever in the fire pits of damnation…
This time there will be no second chances…
I will not offer my mercy again…
So take heed…
BOW DOWN!!!
Praise be to me…
Your Lord…
Your Savior…
Your God.
My children…
Like a tired old shepherd I left you…
