âA challenge.â
----------------------------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: Welcome to Monday Night Sacrifice!
Vasco Dias: It is my pleasure to welcome to you to Monday Night Sacrifice! My name is Vasco Dias and this is my broadcast partner, Terri Morasco.
Terri Morasco: OkâŠ
Vasco Dias: What a show we have for you tonight!
Terri Morasco: Absolutely itâs open fight night and we have some huge bouts for you! But before we get to that Iâm told that the former Man of Steel Champion has some words for the man who defeated him at Destiny!
Vasco Dias: The greatest Man of Steel Champion weâve ever had.
Terri Morasco: Iâm not so sure about that.
Vasco Dias: In all honesty I donât understand what Ryan Shaneâs problem is, he put an open challenge out there and Zasshu accepted it.
Terri Morasco: Laura accepted it.
Vasco Dias: She speaks for her client.
Terri Morasco: And then he tried to attack him!
Vasco Dias: And because of him Laura was sent to the hospital.
Terri Morasco: The two of them brought that on themselves!
Vasco Dias: As a supporter of womenâs rights I am shocked and appalled by what youâre saying. Iâd just like to say the views and opinions of Terri Morasco do not represent those of myself or Imperial Wrestling.
Terri Morasco: I could slap youâŠ
{ âVillainy Thrivesâ hits the pa as the lights dim to a golden hue and strobe, the fans immediately start booing as Zasshu walks solemnly out onto the stage. He looks around himself before heading down the ramp toward the ring. }Terri Morasco: The crowd is always so pleased to see Zasshu.
Vasco Dias: They should worship the ground he walks on!
{ Zasshu leaps up onto the aporn with a knee, pulls himself to his feet and climbs in through the ropes. His music dies down as Allison Valance hands him a microphone. The crowd starts an âCOWARD! COWARD!â chant as Zasshu stands in the center of the ring. }Vasco Dias: Coward!? Heâs the greatest Man of Steel Champion in the history of the company!
Terri Morasco: In one manâs mind.
Vasco Dias: They only mind that matters.
{ The crowd doesnât let up as Zasshu raises the microphone to his mouth. }Zasshu: Last week Mr. Shane referred to me as a coward simply because I chose to live my life following the edict of our beloved and respected Imperial Champion, Roberto Verona.
{ The crowd explodes with boos over the mention of Veronaâs name. }Zasshu: Kill or be killed.
{ âSHUT THE FUCK UP!â }Zasshu: But it was Mr. Shane who took our little feud over the Man of Steel Championship and made it personal when he used my lovely and completely innocent manager as a human shield last week.
{ âBULLSHIT! BULLSHIT!â }Zasshu: After disrespecting her in such a blatant manner, speaking down to her as if we live in an uncivilized third world country, telling her that her word was not good enough to accept his challenge. Well Mr. Shane, Laura Howlett is not out here this evening for fear of another round of physical abuse by your hands but I am! And I am challenging you to a rematch for MY Man of Steel Championship at Night of the Immortals!
Terri Morasco: He made the challenge! Will Shane accept!?
Vasco Dias: The coward probably wonât!
{ Zasshu stands in the middle of the ring waiting when "Victim" by Eighteen Visions begins to play. Ryan Shane makes his way out with microphone in hand, the IWF Man on Steel championship draped over his left shoulder.}Terri Morasco: Ryan Shane is here. Is he still a coward?
Vasco Dias: I don't see him heading to the ring.
{The music dies down and the crowds begins to cheer for the current MoS champ.}Crowd: Shane! Shane! Shane!
Ryan Shane: Thank you for that. First off I want to say I'm sorry for happened to Laura Howlett. That wasn't my intention. I have never condoned violence against women.
Terri Morasco: He is apologizing for something that wasn't even his fault.
Vasco Dias: Sounds like he is accepting blame.
Ryan Shane: Zasshu when I asked for a title shot you made me jump through hoops. All you had to say was yes or no, but you couldn't do that. All I wanted you to do was come out here and ask me for a rematch like a man. Instead you tried to attack me from behind like a coward. The coward we all know you are.
Terri Morasco: Ryan Shane is telling it like he sees it.
Vasco Dias: He is going to regret every word.
Ryan Shane: It is that cowardice that put Laura Howlett in danger. Everything that happened to her was YOUR fault not mine. Now you want to come out here and issue challenges of your own? You want a rematch at Night of the Immortals? If you want to face me you've got it!
Terri Morasco: Shane just accepted Zasshu's challenge!
Vasco Dias: He continues to make mistake after mistake.
{Inside the ring Zasshu seems pleased with this decision.}Ryan Shane: You will have your shot IF you can win a qualifying match. You wanted to make me jump through hoops? Here is one for you.
{ Zasshu no longer looks pleased as he stares daggers at Ryan Shane, his hand visibly shakes from anger as he raises the microphone. }Zasshu: Who?
{ Shane smirks as he looks down the ramp at Zasshu. }Ryan Shane: I will let you know... Next week! Let you stew for a little bit.
{ "Victim" hits the pa again as Shane slaps the belt on his shoulder before turning his back on Zasshu and exiting through the curtain. Zasshu throws the mic up the ramp making a loud echoing thump when it hits the steel as Zasshu's chest heaves up and down with anger. }Vasco Dias: Are you kidding me!?
Terri Morasco: Hey, Zasshu likes to play games maybe Shane does too?
Vasco Dias: When Zasshu gets his hands on Shane he is going to regret it.
Terri Morasco: I think the former champion may be regretting not just playing by the rules.
Vasco Dias: Kill or be killed, Terri, that's the way of IWF.
{ Zasshu drops out of the ring as the crowd is still cheering for Ryan Shane. }----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Nighthawk vs Warren Kane
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: âThis next contest is scheduled for 1 fall with no time limit. â
{The lights go out as the crowd chanting fills the arena.}"Da da da de da da da
Da da da de da da da
Da da da de da da da
Da da da de da da da
LET'S GO!"
{As the song kicks in the tron explodes to life with a quick pyro as red and white strobe lights begin to flash. Warren Kane comes to the front of the stage and brings his arms up in front of his chest before extending them outwards and upwards creating a reaction from the crowd.}"It's not easy making a name for yourself, Where do you draw the line?
I never thought I'd be in this far.
Let's have some fun and never change that for anyone, try not to miss me when I'm gone
Woooh, wooooh"
I sold my soul to the open road!"
{He then heads towards the ring, clicking his neck, wrists and elbows to prepare for his match before jumping up onto the apron, climbing the turnbuckle on the outside and raising his arms once more. The music dies down and the lights return to normal as he drops into the ring.}Alison Valance: âIntroducing first, from London, England, weighing in at 220 poundsâŠ. Warren Kane!â
{As the ring announcer moves to a neutral corner the lights in the sold-out arena dim for just a moment as the opening strains of "I Remember (Hail To The Victors Intro)" by Tristam boom out over the sound speakers, as Nighthawk walks to the ring confidently shaking hands with the crowd as he does so. Climbing up on the outside of the 2nd and 3rd turnbuckles the "Wrestling Machine" exhorts the crowd to make more and more noise before climbing into the ring and submitting himself to be checked out by the referee.} Alison Valance: âHis opponent, from Chicago, Illinois and weighing in at 185 poundsâŠ.. âThe Master of 1000 Holdsâ⊠âThe Wrestling Machineâ Nighthawk!â
Terri Morasco: âThis is something of a dream match, Vasco Dias. Nighthawk, who has come back to IWF and not lost a step, faces off against Warren Kane who might be the best Invictus Champion in the history of the division. They have faced off three times, and two of those times, there was a third man involved. The only time it was Nighthawk against Warren Kane 1-on-1, Warren lost via submission to the Hangmanâs Clutch. Will tonight be any different?â
Vasco Dias: âThe man Nighthawk beat that night was a raging dog, with next to no hint of the poise and patience that we see from him every night now. The question is not whether we will see that Warren Kane again. Will we see Nighthawk be able to wrestle at the level that we saw him at that night?â
{Stretching out against the ropes both men immediately go into an aggressive collar-and-elbow lockup, each jockeying for position before they find themselves locked up against the ropes where the referee quickly moves to separate both men as he does not seem interested in letting things get too far out of control if they can help it. Moving back into the center of the ring they again go for a collar-and-elbow tie-up and this time Warren Kane comes out of the back door with a side headlock which he squeezes on supremely tight, trying to take that over but finding that difficult to do as Nighthawk somehow manages to shift his weight just enough to block the takeover attempt and then quickly works to try and somehow grab an attempt at a flipping jujigatame which is blocked by Warren grabbing the ropes to force a break.}Terri Morasco: âEarly on, these 2 highly popular athletes are feeling each other out. Youâd expect nothing less from either one of them, especially when you realize that each one of them is stepping into the ring knowing just how big this match can be for future title opportunities.â
Vasco Dias: âThatâs an interesting point. If Nighthawk can beat someone the caliber of Warren Kane, you have to believe he will catapult himself right into title contention. Conversely, if Warren Kane can beat Nighthawk, that will get him one step closer to perhaps the IWF Imperial Championship rematch that has been eluding him. A lot on the line for both men here tonight.â
{As Nighthawk steps back into the center of the ring, his ice-blue eyes now utterly focused on his opponent, Warren Kane shows the same focus as they again lock up and this time Warren is again able to come out the back door with a standing full nelson. But as he tries to lock his fingers behind the head Nighthawk does a rapid-fire series of standing leg lifts to completely reverse the hold into a standing hammerlock as the crowd buzzes in appreciation at ringside for the slickness of the counter, leaning his head back to avoid Warren easily finding the snapmare counter. Saying âNo, Mr. Officialâ sotto voce to the referee when he comes over to see if the Londoner wants to submit Warren reaches his right boot up and slowly pries apart the grip on the hammerlock with the toes of his boot, finally forcing the release of the hold as both men stand at the ready. Shaking out his left arm slightly, trying to do his best to do so in such a way that the Chicago native doesnât pick up how weakened the limb actually is, Warren moves back into the middle of the ring and again goes for a collar-and-elbow lock-up before going back for another tight side headlock, taking that over as he tries to slow the pace of the match down to something more approaching a crawl to take advantage of his size and strength advantage. Continuing to lean in on the side headlock as he works the hold tighter and tighter the referee now comes to see if the âWrestling Machineâ wants to quit, only to receive the same sotto voce answer that he got earlier. Crossing his ankles together Nighthawk rocks back and forth until he leaves the headlock completely, leaving Warren Kane on the floor gob smacked as the âMan of 1000 Holdsâ stretches himself out against the nearest set of ropes.} Terri Morasco: âWhile for a lot of people the British style is difficult to explain, there are two vastly different main branches of that style. Nighthawk is more commonly wrestling the lightweight version of that style, built around graceful matwork and knowing how to escape out of any hold that exists. Warren, on the other hand, wrestles more of the British heavyweight style which is a little rougher.â
Vasco Dias: âWhen I was a pro wrestler, I was known as a heavyweight European-style wrestler so I know what Warren wants to do. He wants to lean on Nighthawk, and wear him down. That is a strategy many have tried, and it has not worked. If I were in Warrenâs shoes, I would try to draw him into a brawl. Getting him into a situation where he canât think his way out of a problem is what you need to do.â
{Stretching out against the ropes again, both men still working on feeling each other out, they again go for a collar-and-elbow lockup and this time Nighthawk is able to come out of it with a top wristlock, quickly looking to turn that into a full armdrag and twist but unable to get that all the way applied as Warren spins himself out to find himself in a position where he can reverse the top wristlock into a cravate. But as he tries to lock in the cravate the Chicago native simply rolls through and applies the top wristlock again, this time positioning himself in such a way that Warren would have to reach through him to grab a rope break. Unable to find a good way to escape the trap he finds himself in the Londoner does the only thing he can think of and smoothly navigates himself into an O'Connor roll that gets a quick 2-count and then grabs a side headlock takeover on Nighthawk as he comes back to his feet. Taking a deep lungful of breath as he again looks to slow the pace of the match down and keep Nighthawk off his arm Warren slowly rotates himself away from the ropes and turns the headlock into a rear chinlock, pressing his knee right in between the shoulders as he looks to slow the pace down. But as he does so the âWrestling Machineâ crosses his legs again and wiggles his hand through the L-shape his legs made in the general direction of Warren Kane, who grabs the hand and immediately finds himself snared in another wristlock takeover before this time grabbing the ropes with his feet before heading to the floor to shake out his left arm and try and figure out what to do next.} Terri Morasco: âIf you had told me at the start of this match that we would see Warren Kane wrestling like this, I might have expected that to be true. If you told me we would see Nighthawk wrestle this well, and this intelligently, I might not have believed it. He is outwrestling, easily, a two-time Invictus Champion and someone who everyone believes is a future Imperial Champion.â
Vasco Dias: âNighthawk had all the time from the moment Warren Kane accepted this challenge until tonight to put together, and test out, the perfect game plan to beat him. Also, and this should not be underestimated, Warren Kane has been competing in brutal matches where he has been taking a lot of punishment recently. He might not be in the frame of mind for a hold-for-hold match. Nighthawk is taking advantage of that.â
{As Warren slides back in the ring, shaking out his left arm, he quickly moves in for a collar-and-elbow lockup and executes a perfect standing cravate, digging both knees into the ribcage as he now looks to put more pressure and torque on the neck muscles. Shaking his fingers no when the referee comes over to see if he wants to submit Nighthawk nonetheless slowly finds himself being bent backwards while still in the cravate until he is in position to be taken into a bow-and-arrow with the cravate still applied, as the referee winces in something approaching sympathy before stepping back in to see if the Chicago native is interested in submitting. Wagging his finger no as he is unable to speak due to how tight the cravate is applied Nighthawk now looks to try and figure a way out of the predicament that he finds himself in, taking special care to not put himself in a worse position as he looks for a counter. finally figuring out a way to get out of things the âWrestling Machineâ begins to push up on Warrenâs hands until he loosens the cravate to the point where he can flip himself over out of the bow-and-arrow right into a lateral press that gets a quick 2-count, quickly taking advantage of the opening and attempting to go for a headscissors\kimura combination. But as he tries to get the hold all the way applied Warren Kane begins to land open-hand strikes with the flat of his palm right into the ribs of Nighthawk to try and force a break of the hold, only to see him roll through into an Oklahoma roll that again gets a 2-count before both men go for dropkicks. As the âMan of 1000 Holdsâ stays on one knee in the center of the ring, his ice-blue eyes never leaving those of his opponent as he stretches out his ribs and neck, Warren Kane leans against the ropes and has the same reaction.} Terri Morasco: âEarlier on we saw Nighthawk use some of the British style of wrestling, but as this match is stretching out, weâre seeing Warren Kane get more and more aggressive and more willing to stretch him out. I donât think this is personal, but rather what Warren thinks he has to do to beat Nighthawk.â
Vasco Dias: âThat is one flaw, Terri, in Nighthawkâs game. Simply put, he is not terribly vicious. He can throw strikes when pressed, but he does not throw closed fist punches. Even when he is laying into people, it is still perfectly within the rules. If he wants to win this match, he has to leave it all in the ring tonight. There is no other way to win.â
{As they move back into the center of the ring, each man now beginning to show the wear and tear of this match, they again lock up as Warren goes back to the full nelson that he attempted to apply earlier and this time is able to get, quickly locking his fingers together behind the head before Nighthawk can do anything to block it from happening. Quickly taking advantage of the opening Warren then executes a back heel trip to take Nighthawk to a seated position and then places his knees into the upper back of the Chicago native to turn the full nelson into a sugar hold as the referee again winces sympathetically before again looking to see if Nighthawk has any interest whatsoever in submitting. Getting a strangled no in response Nighthawk now begins to work on figuring out an escape from this, finally reaching down with his free hand to work on an ankle pick which he smoothly transitions into a foot lock and then a heel hook which convinces Warren to let go of the sugar hold allowing Nighthawk to slide up the body and transition into a short-arm scissors as he tries to go back to working on the left arm. leaning back on his elbows even as he crosses his ankles together around the biceps to get the absolute most out of the hold that he can the âWrestling Machineâ then does an inverted bridge while still keeping a hold of the short-arm scissors, drawing the referee over to see if Warren wants to submit. Getting a no in response Warren frantically looks to see if he can find an escape, finally unable to find one as he grabs for the bottom rope to force a break of the hold. Letting go of the hold almost instantly Nighthawk takes a moment to bend down and refasten the Velcro on his ring gloves, confident that Warren wonât make a move to sneak-attack him while doing so. Wiping sweat from his brow Warren stands at the ready and quickly goes for a collar-and-elbow lockup, seemingly looking for the side headlock that has been so successful for him. But as he looks to get it applied the âMan of 1000 Holdsâ slips out the back door and applies an arm drag and twist, quickly taking that over into a wristlock.} Terri Morasco: âWeâve seen a lot of just wrestling from these men, Vasco. Itâs hard and clean and aggressive wrestling. No oneâs holding onto anything past a rope break, but theyâre also not giving any of those rope breaks easily either. These are holds that would normally draw submissions and theyâre just countering out of or finding escapes.â
Vasco Dias: âI want to say a word about the referee here. Heâs done a great job of watching when a hold looks like it could be a submission, and being in perfect position for all the pinning attempts. With a match that has been as taut as this one, the referee needs to stay out of the way, and by and large, he has.â
{As Nighthawk places his knee on the triceps muscle while pressing his thumb into the flat of the palm to keep the hand immobilized he begins to twist and torque on the wrist, trying to see what he can do to further weaken the left arm. But as he continues to crank Warren quickly places his palm around the blue-and-orange kneepad on Nighthawkâs left knee and uses that as a momentary fulcrum to turn into a headscissors. Posting his elbows directly between the shoulders the Londoner scoots back into the middle of the ring to prevent Nighthawk from getting to the ropes. But as the headscissors continues to be applied Nighthawk moves his hands from off the mat to the thighs of Warren Kane, slowly using his hands to pry apart the headscissors far enough apart to where he can get a quick prawn hold for a 2-count before both men go for dropkicks a 2nd time. As both men stand in dead-center of the ring Warren feints to go for a collar-and-elbow tie-up before landing a teeth-rattling forearm shiver to the jaw which Nighthawk immediately responds to with a European uppercut followed by a tilt-a-whirl armdrag that sends Warren to the floor. Deciding to follow him out the Chicago native heads up to the top turnbuckle and comes off with a gorgeous corkscrew moonsault press to the floor, leaning against the guardrail as he soaks in the appreciative cheers of the crowd. Rolling back in the ring to break the refereeâs count, as the idea of winning via disqualification is clearly a distasteful outcome to him, Nighthawk then goes back outside and brings Warren back in the ring before heading up to the top turnbuckle and executing a textbook high cross-body that gets a long 2-count. Letting out an exultant war cry as he believes he has things well in hand Nighthawk whips Warren into the corner and looks to go in for a monkey flip only to find himself popped up onto the top turnbuckle. Gathering himself and planting his feet in a tremendous show of coordination and balance the âWrestling Machineâ then goes for a backwards frankensteiner off of the top turnbuckle only to get caught out of mid-air and dropped onto his feet only to walk right into a gorgeous open-hand running forearm lariat from Warren Kane. Taking a moment to catch his breath Warren quickly takes advantage of the situation and pulls Nighthawk up to a seated position and lands a short seated dropkick to the face before covering and quickly looking both legs, only to see the match continue when the referee informs him of the 2-count.} Terri Morasco: âAnd what a pair of shots we saw from Warren Kane. First the forearm lariat after the counter of the frankensteiner, and then the dropkick to the face. People might have expected Warren Kane to take Nighthawk lightly, and sort of wrestle with something less than his full commitment. Judging by the two blows he used to take control, and the way he hooked BOTH legs when going for the cover, I donât think thatâs whatâs happening here.â
Vasco Dias: âAn interesting point. Normally, itâs Warren Kane who has to use his speed and agility to get things done. Tonight, heâs the power man. I wonder if heâs relishing the chance to do moves he doesnât normally get to do, considering heâs in there with an opponent he outweighs by 35 pounds.â
{Keeping the pressure on Warren comes off the ropes with a trio of short snap legdrops to the collarbone before immediately going back for another cover, and again getting a 2-count. Heading up to the 2nd turnbuckle on the inside Warren measures his man and then lands a double stomp to the abdomen before hitting a falling headbutt to more or less the same spot. But as he climbs back up to the top turnbuckle Nighthawk slowly gets to his feet and attempts a superplex only to get dropped face-first to the mat below. Looking to take advantage of the situation Warren comes off with a diving crossbody of his own for another 2-count. Picking Nighthawk up the Londoner whips him into the ropes looking for a clothesline attempt only to miss high allowing the Chicago native to attempt to go for a crucifix as a counter, only to see Warren counter that into a Samoan drop which gets another 2-count. Taking a moment to catch his breath as well as to try and figure out what he wants to do next Warren picks Nighthawk up and signals for a Black Tiger Bomb only to get caught with a hurricanrana that gets a long 2-count that sucks the air out of the sold-out arena. Grabbing for the ropes to try and pull himself to his feet Nighthawk gets a mad glint in his eyes and goes for a springboard frankensteiner only to get caught out of the air with a gorgeous pendulum backbreaker. Leaning against the ropes, taking a moment to try and figure out what to do next as well as to take a few deep refreshing breaths, Warren pulls the âWrestling Machineâ up to his feet before planting him with an inverted STO before getting a grounded octopus hold applied. Shaking his fingers no as best he can when the referee rushes over to see if he wants to quit Nighthawk now tries to drag himself to the ropes even as the pain is clearly evident on his face. Finally getting to the ropes, grabbing them with both hands, Nighthawk is able to force a break which Warren gives almost immediately. Crawling through the ropes to the ring apron Nighthawk seems to be in tremendous pain only for Warren to attempt to bring him back in via a outside-in vertical suplex only for the âMan of 1000 Holdsâ to counter in mid-air into a lateral press that gets an impossibly long 2-count.} Terri Morasco: âRemember, Vasco, this is just the 1st match. If this is a harbinger of what we can expect from the rest of the night this is going to be a fantastic show.â
Vasco Dias: âWe talk all the time about Nighthawkâs incredible conditioning. We are seeing it right now as most people would have crumbled under the pace, and the intensity, of this matchup. Instead he is somehow managing to fight on.â
{Popping up with speed Nighthawk rushes at Warren only to get caught with a Rydeen Bomb that looks to get the pin only for Nighthawk to grab the bottom rope to force a break of the hold. Nodding his head in appreciation Warren drags Nighthawk to his feet and places him in a neutral corner before rushing in looking to hit a cornered dropkick only to get caught out of mid-air with a superkick that lands with a massive smack and draws the sold-out crowd to its feet as the Chicago native somehow finds what appears to be his 4th or 5th wind as Warren staggers around, seemingly out on his feet. Running his thumb across his throat Nighthawk appears to be setting up for his Orange Crush Bomb variant called the Blue Crush.} {But as he goes for it Warren is able to adjust his weight in mid-air and hook in a tight small package that gets the 3-count a fraction of a second before Nighthawk is able to kick out.} Alison Valance: âThe winner of the matchâŠ. Warren Kane!â

SINGLES MATCH
JC Keeton vs JJ Biggs
----------------------------------------------------------
{The slow melodic opening strains to âVeinsâ by HUNTR begins to play and when the beat kicks in pyro explodes from the rampway as JC Keeton steps through the curtain. He makes his way to the ring bouncing in rhythm to the music. When he reaches the ring he leaps up onto the apron and steps through the ropes, He continues to sway and bounce from heel to heel as he awaits the match to start.}Bristol Harlow: The following contest is set for one fall, introducing first currently in the ring from Winchester, KY⊠JC Keeton!
{"Voices" by Disturbed hits the speaker system, which is met with a chorus of boos from the crowd. The curtain brushes aside and "The Featured Attraction" walks onto the stage, standing there for a moment looking amongst the crowd with a cocky smile plastered on his face. Moments later, he extends his arms out to the side and massive pyrotechnics go off around him. He proceeds down the ramp, reaching the ring and climbing onto the apron. He enters the ring through the middle rope and proceeds towards the side of the ring and extends his arms out once again, which is met with even more boos. Biggs smirks as he takes off his shirt and acts as if he's going to throw it into the crowd, but instead he tosses it into the corner.} Bristol Harlow: And his opponent from Miami, Florida!!!! He is the Featured Attraction!!! J! J!BIGGS!!!!!!!
Terri Morasco: I'm not sure I've detested a competitor more than this man.
Vasco Dias: You're supposed to be impartial.
Terri Morasco: Like you are?
{JC paces in his corner starring daggers at Biggs as the referee calls for the bell.} DING DING DING
Terri Morasco: Here we go! JC Keeton is fired up and he's got this crowd solidly behind him.
Vasco Dias: Good luck kid, you're gonna need it.
{JC burst out of his corner and motions for Biggs to tie up but JJ seems comfortable in the corner as he yawns showing complete disregard for Keeton or the crowd. Finally he steps towards JC who connects with a left hook square to the jaw that causes the big man to rub his jaw and smile. Keeton ducks a clothesline from Biggs and punches him again.} Vasco Dias: That's two blatant closed fists, can't the referee do something about this?
Terri Morasco: Oh please Vasco, I think it'll slide in this situation.
{The second punch brings a more serious expression to the face of JJ Biggs and he fires back with a big European Uppercut that lifts the smaller JC Keeton off the mat and he lands in a seated position. Biggs then charges forward driving his knee into the side of the head of his former protégé. He bends down and grabs Keeton jerking him to his feet before setting him up for the Crucifix Powerbomb.} Terri Morasco: Biggs is looking to end this one early if he hits that big Powerbomb, he's used that multiple times on Jake Keeton as of late.
Vasco Dias: And JC felt it last week too.
{Biggs lifts JC up and holds him there as the crowd boos loudly. Before he can complete the move however JC wiggles free and waist locks JJ before hitting a Saito Suplex which causes the crowd to erupt.
JAY SEE JAY SEE JAY SEE
{The chants bring a smile to the youngsters face but he wastes too much time enjoying the moment and misses a 360 Legdrop as Biggs rolls out of the way. They both get back to their feet and JC attempts something but JJ blocks it and plants him with a Spinebuster.}Terri Morasco: I have to say I'm impressed with the strength of JC Keeton after that Siato Suplex, his inexperience showed by not following up though.
Vasco Dias: Exactly, experience wins every time.
Terri Morasco: That's far from true.
{With JC down following the spinebuster JJ begins to stomp away at him all the while screaming âYou're a Keeton you were born to fail!â JC tries to roll out of the ring but only makes it to the apron before Biggs pulls him to his feet and drag him over the top rope and dropping him with a Double Arm DDT. Biggs drops down for the pin and the referee begins to count.}1âŠ
2âŠ
Biggs pulls Keeton up.
Terri Morasco: He's just toying with him now, this is ridiculous.
{JJ brings JC back to his feet and the smaller man is very wobbly as he's pushed into the corner and Biggs begins to light his chest up with Knife Edge Chops all while continuing to berate and insult JC. The final chop seems to wake JC up however as he slams a forearm into the side of Biggs head catching him off guard. With Biggs stunned JC rushes forward leaps up and hits a Double Footstomp to the chest of the 7 footer cause the crowd to explode once again.} Terri Morasco: What a move! That vertical leap will be a huge asset to this young man going forward.
Vasco Dias: It might have worked there but it's not gonna change the outcome of this match.
{With Biggs down JC goes out to the apron, he's all fired up and the crowd cheers him on as he waits for Biggs to stand. Slowly JJ rises to his feet and as he turns around JC springboards halfway across the ring but rather than connecting with the forearm he'd planned he misjudges and lands on his feet only to have his head taken off by a big boot from Biggs.}Terri Morasco: Another rookie mistake by Keeton, this one may have cost him dearly. Biggs just decapitated him.
Vasco Dias: It's been 20 years since the last time someone said the name Keeton and rookie mistake in the same breath.
{Biggs yanks JC to his feet, hooks him and drops him on his head with The Biggs Implant. He nonchalantly covers JC as the referee counts.}1âŠ
2âŠ
3âŠ
Bristol Harlow: Ladies and gentlemen your winner, âThe Featured Attractionâ JJ Biggs!
Terri Morasco: Valiant effort from JC Keeton but he had a few mistakes that cost him dearly.
Vasco Dias: His biggest mistake was challenging JJ Biggs.
Terri Morasco: What the hell?
{Biggs quickly rolls off the cover and instead of letting the ref raise his hand he tosses him over the top rope, grabs JC and hits another Biggs Implant. Suddenly âMan of Constant Sorrowâ by CCD hits the PA and the arena shakes with the crowd cheering and going crazy as Jake Keeton bolts down the ramp, tearing his shirt off as he sprints to the ring.}Vasco Dias: Get out of there JJ that redneck looks possessed!
{Jake leaps up on the apron and Biggs charges but Jake drives a shoulder into his midsection, flips over him and hits the Leaping Leg Lariat before going up to the top rope. He leaps off with The Modern Day Miracle but lands on his feet as Biggs rolls to the floor at the last minute and starts backing up the ramp.}Terri Morasco: Not so tough now is he?
Vasco Dias: Live to fight another day, this man is brilliant Terri.
{Jake glares at Biggs before going to JC and helping him to his feet and patting him on the back as Biggs backs through the curtain.}----------------------------------------------------------

{We find Fiona McFly: sitting inside an unoccupied office suite, relaxing on a black swivel chair as she sips from a mug of hot Earl Grey--one of her favorite drinks of choice to go along with green tea and some others. Her iPhone, connected to a docking station, plays some random 60s and 70s soft rock anthems from the iHeartRadio app, and she smiles warmly as she twirls around in her chair and studies her pocketwatch. She hears a knock at the door, which interrupts her period of solace.}Fiona McFly:: ComeâŠ
{The door opens up and Crystal Millar and her best friend Zelda Knite: find themselves entering into the office. Crystal is clad in her wrestling gear and she is wearing her EMF hoodie on top of it and Zelda is in an EMF hoodie as well. Crystal closes the door behind her as she walks over to Fiona.}Crystal Millar: Hey did you have a moment to talk?
Zelda Knite:: Nice office. Not as amazing as the office at ZOMBIE INC but I guess it will do.
Crystal Millar: Thatâs not even a real thing!
Zelda Knite:: I won that company. I made it mine andâŠ
{Crystal piefaces Zelda making sure to cover her face with her hand as she turns her attention to Fiona.}Crystal Millar: Like I was saying I was hoping we could talk. Do you have a minute?
{Fiona, wearing her Big 10 volleyball gear from her days in Wisconsin, slowly places her mug down on a coaster.}Fiona McFly:: As Louis Armstrong sang many years agoâŠâwe have all the time in the world.â
{The Northern Irishwoman chuckles.}Fiona McFly:: âOn Her Majestyâs Secret Serviceâ--the love theme to my favourite older Bond film. Iâve got Earl Grey...or whateverâs left over...in the kettle over there. Relax, sit down...and chatter away.
Crystal Millar: Ok first of all⊠That little volleyball attire you are wearingâŠ
Zelda Knite:: Oh God here we go, and I thought she was going to be nice.
Crystal Millar: How DARE YOU WEAR THAT SCRUBBYâŠ.
Zelda Knite:: YES WE GET IT⊠You are a MICHIGAN STATE FAN! You are a Detroit native blah blah blah⊠Had you not gotten pregnant you could have been playing pitcher for the girls softball team becauseâŠ
Crystal Millar: I was ALL AMERICAN in my freshman high school year. Scouts looking at me. Lady Spartan andâŠ.
{Zelda is the one to hit Crystal to silence her as she looks at Fiona.}Zelda Knite:: Ok so the reason we came here is because we wanted to apologize for the way we treated you.
Crystal Millar: Yeah⊠You were the better woman in the long run. I respect what you are doing and I just wanted to make bygones be bygonesâŠ
{Fiona raises her left brow, a la Leonard Nimoyâs âSpock,â before propping her white tennis shoes upon the desk, changing the IHeartRadio station to a conservative talk radio program.}Fiona McFly:: After you cost me my chance at the Shieldmaiden a few weeks prior? Hrmmm...given that this yearâs U.S. presidential election will be filled with sniveling, unprofessional candidates who probably wonât let bygones be bygones in a few years, without a sense of respect for the task at hand, I figure...indeed, you want to bury the old hatchet. After all, in this gig respect is earned, not bought and sold like a vote. Therefore...apology accepted.
{With that Crystal and Zelda exit the room leaving Fiona to her iheartradio.
A few moments pass before the music Fiona was settling back to enjoy cuts, leaving her alone in silence. Fiona lifts her Iphone from the docking station and notices the app is still playing, although she hears nothing. A confused Fiona puts the device back in the docking station and as soon as she does the music returns at maximum volume, causing a panicked Fiona to knock over her cup of tea in a panic as she franticly tries to stop the app from playing.
Fiona then hears a familiar laughter as Eternity appears behind her, the docking station's remote control in her hand.}Eternity: Music make you lose control, music make you lose control. Music make you lose control. I got a cute face, chubby waist, thick legs, in shape, rump shakin' both ways, make you do a double take...
{Fiona tries to take the remote control back, but Eternity won't let her have it, simply shaking her head whilst holding it over her head.}Eternity: Dance, little puppet, dance...
{Fiona decides to stop giving Eternity the satisfaction of trying to get the control back, letting her keep it for now. Fiona simply folds her arms across her chest, in much the same way a mother would when not in the mood for her child's antics.}
Eternity: Next time lock your door, never know who is around here...somewhere...it's always time for tea....
{Eternity smiles and just skips away with Fiona's remote control, leaving her in the office to clean up what was left of her tea.}

THE SILVER SCREEN QUEEN IS HERE!!!!
Iâm Coming Out by Diana Ross begins to blast all across the speakers and as that happens we are able to see Christina Millar emerging through the backstage curtain and the crowd actually starts to cheer. She isnât alone as her best friend Zelda Knite comes out beside her. Crystal smiles as her grouping of paparazzi gather up in front of the ring and they snag photo after of the Latina beauty. She walks down the ramp and she stops to pose with a fan. Zelda smiles as she claps her hands in return as Crystal continues to walk to the ring.
Her following of paparazzi meet her as does a red carpet. She takes in appeal of the cameras smiling as flashes begin to go off one after another. She then runs up the steps where she walks towards the middle of the apron. She blows kisses out to the crowd before she drops into a split entering the ring. The crowd begins to go nuts and she is all smiles as she blows kisses and points at an EMF sign.}Terri Morasco: These last past couple of weeks havenât been the greatest for the Silver Screen Queen but she seems to be a girl that is looking to redeem herself.
Vasco Dias: Redeem herself?! There is no redeeming for her. To put it simple she sucks and I donât know why the crowd has taken interest in her. Her trying to be nice doesnât really change anything.
{Sarah Jade Wilson comes out next and she is accompanied by Domi Natrix. Sarah slowly makes her way down to the ring as she eyes up Zelda on the outside of the ring who just motions to Sarah to get in the ring. Sarah takes her time but she eventually gets into the ring as she just turns her nose up at Millar.}Terri Morasco: The last time these two were in the ring with one another was for a tag team match on the last night Open Fight Night. Sarah gained a pinfall victory over Crystal in a tag team match, and you can rest assure that Crystal wishes to even the odds up tonight.
Vasco Dias: There will be no evening up the odds. Sarah will break her just like she did before and she will walk away with the win. Mark my words on that.
{The bell sounds as this match officially gets underway and the crowd actually seems to be behind Crystal as she smiles in agreement. She walks over to Sarah and extends her hand out to her.}Terri Morasco: Am I seeing this right? Is Crystal actually trying to be a good sport?!
{Sarah looks at Crystalâs hand but just before she takes it the whole arena can hear the loud sounds of a âCRACKâ as Domi Natrix has just smashed a chair over the back of Zelda Knite. Zelda falls to the mat and doesnât seem to be moving at all as Domi enters the ring with the chair in her hand. The crowd begins to boo even louder and thatâs when Sarah pulls Crystal in by the hand allowing Domi to come inside and hit Crystal as hard as she can against her back. Crystal screams as she falls to her knees and reaches for her back in pain. }Vasco Dias: Thereâs the real redemption. SJW is saving us from witnessing this charade from Millar.
Terri Morasco: This isnât right. This match never even got underway.
{The bell sounds loudly as the referee calls for a disqualification but that isnât stopping Sarah as she is orchestrating whatâs going on. She grabs Crystal and drops her onto the mat with a ddt which getâs the crowd booing loudly. Domi moves the chair and places it right underneath Crystalâs head as Sarah backs away a few feet. She grins as she looks right at Crystal as Domi helps Crystal up.}Terri Morasco: No⊠This isnât right⊠Donât do this!
Vasco Dias: End her! This is an awesome way to spend a Fight Night.
{Sarah runs at Crystal as she lifts her head up and she drives her foot right against Crystalâs skull with her Trigger Warning. Crystal is laid out on the floor as she grins as the crowd roars back in boos. Domi brings in a can of spray paint as she puts SJW on her back and the two of them have their hands raised high in the air before they leave the ring. They look at the carnage as Zelda weakly rolls into the ring to check on her best friend as she stares back at Sarah and Domi.}Terri Morasco: I canât believe what we just saw tonight.
Vasco Dias: It was justice. Justice for Millar. Everything that EMF did it came back to haunt them tonight and I couldnât be any more glad.
Terri Morasco: Nobody deserves that though. Sarah took it a little too far.

Vasco Dias: He isnât cleared!
Terri Morasco: He doesnât care!
{ Rob Diamond comes running into the ring as Steve Awesome ducks out and drops under the bottom rope and runs toward the ramp. Rob crashes against the rope and starts screaming at Steve Awesome to get into the ring but Steve just shakes his head as he backs up the ramp. }Terri Morasco: Awesome is running away!
Vasco Dias: Rob Diamond isnât cleared to be in the ring! Steve Awesome is just avoiding any legal responsibility!
{ Rob drops down and rolls out and starts to run up the ramp toward Steve Awesome who looks from side to side and behind, hoping someone comes out to stop this and just as he does security comes pouring out from the back, atleast a dozen or more guards as Rob comes racing up the ramp. Before he can meet Steve Awesome security intercepts him and holds him back as he swings wildly at them. }Vasco Dias: Thank god someone still has the wrestlers health in mind.
Terri Morasco: Are you kidding me!? Steve Awesome is the reason Rob is on the shelf!
Vasco Dias: Steve Awesome is just doing his job, people get hurt sometimes, someone like Rob should know that!
{ Steve Awesome slips past Rob and the security as they drag him toward the back while he screams and tries to fight his way free. Steve Awesome keeps his eyes on Rob as he rolls into the ring, not looking away from Rob. Finally Steve Awesome turns back around as JFK connects with a running kick to the gut of Steve Awesome and pulls him into the FINAL NAIL!!!! }Vasco Dias: NO!!!!!!
{ JFK covers as Rob Diamond laughs from the stage top. }Terri Morasco: FINAL NAIL!!!!
{ JFK covers and the referee makes the count! ONE! TWO! THREE!!!!! }Alison Valance: Your winner⊠J!F!K!
Vasco Dias: This is unbelievable!
Terri Morasco: JFK WON!!!!
{ JFK celebrates as Rob is pulled into the back, still laughing. }----------------------------------------------------------

{ We see Jayson Matthews strutting backstage with a big smile on his face and the Invictus Championship over his shoulder. He rounds a corner heading toward the buffet when he comes face to mask with the former Man of Steel Champion in Zasshu. }Jayson Matthews: Oh⊠Hey! Uhhhh⊠So about last week, I know you said some stuff and I said some stuff but uhhhâŠ
{ Zasshu just stares into the soul of Jayson Matthews. }Jayson Matthews: No hard feelings?
{ Jayson extends his right hand toward Zasshu who doesnât even look down at it, instead he continues to stare Jayson right in the eyes, almost looking through him. }Jayson Matthews: Ooooooook⊠Well⊠Iâm going to head to the buffet⊠You just uhhhâŠ. Keep doing what youâre doingâŠ.
{ Jayson slips past Zasshu who doesnât move, muttering under his breath. }Jayson Matthews: No wonder Shane made him tap. Freaking weirdoâŠ
{ But Jayson doesnât make it far as Laura Howlett comes from out of nowhere and blasts Jayson Matthews over the back of the head with a steel chair!!! Jayson drops to his knees, the belt falling to the ground as Zasshu slowly turn around, eyeing the champion up. Jayson tries to get to his feet, turning to face the women who struck him. }Laura Howlett:: TAKE! HIM! OUT!
{ Jayson gets to his feet as Zasshu fires off the CIESTA KICK!!!! Jayson Matthews goes down and Laura screams to off camera. }Laura Howlett:: REF! Letâs go!
{ Zasshu quickly covers Jayson Matthews as a referee comes in from off camera and counts. ONE! TWO! THREE!!!! }Terri Morasco: What the hell just happened!?
Vasco Dias: Zasshu just captured the Invictus Championship!!!!!
Terri Morasco: WHAT!?
{ Laura scoops up the championship as Zasshu gets to his feet. Laura hands it to him and Zasshu just looks down on Jayson and then turns toward the camera. }Laura Howlett:: Did you see that Ryan!? This is the man youâre toying with!! A man who can be a champion on any given night! The future face of the company! The Future! My client! The Invictus Champion! ZASSHU!!!!!!!
{ Laura Howlett grins from ear to ear as Zasshu glares into the camera before we head to a commercial break. }----------------------------------------------------------

IWF SHIELD MAIDEN CHAMPIONSHIP
Kate Steele vs Paige Garcia©
----------------------------------------------------------
Allison Valance: The following match is scheduled for one fall and is for the Shield Maiden Championship
{ âOver Youâ by Girlicious plays throughout the arena. Seventeen seconds into the song, Paige and Sara come out to a negative reaction as they holds their hand in the air above their heads, their index fingers pointed down at themselves as they do a quick spin around before walking down to the ring, talking themselves up to all of those in attendance and everyone watching at home. }Alison Valance: Accompanied to the ring by her sister Sara, from San Diego, California, weighing 126 poundsâŠThe IWF Shield Maiden Champion PAIGE Garcia!
{ The two sisters jump up on the apron, posing for the crowd, showing off their beauty before each sitting on the middle rope and swinging their legs to the left, pulling the rest of their bodies in as well. They pose again for the crowd who boo as the two talk strategy for the match. As Paige raises her title proudly into the air. }Vasco Dias: Thatâs right our new champion and she looks good with the belt.
Terri Morasco: Yes she won that belt at Destiny when Kate was hurt in the Iron Maiden match.
Vasco Dias: By hook or by crook Paige did what she had to do to escape with the belt. Simple as that!
{ âBad Reputationâ by Joan Jett begins to play across the speakers as it does Kate Steele emerges from the back wearing a hoodie that has the phrase âBest Submissionist in the Worldâ written on it. She walks her way down to the ring and tonight Shea OâHara is accompanying her to the ring. Fans try to extend her hand out. Shea slaps them but Kate pays none of them any mind as she takes her hoodie off and slides into the ring. She beams right for Paige and quickly spears her to the ground as the referee Lucy Adams tries her best to rip Kate right off of Paige. }Terri Morasco: Oh my God Kate just speared Paige!
Vasco Dias: Sheâs going crazy! Somebody needs to get her off of the champ. This isnât even right.
{ Lucy gains control of the situation as she grabs Kate yanking her off. Kate looks at Paige yelling at her as the champion scurries to the corner and pulls herself back up. Kate throws her hands up in the air motioning to Lucy that she is going to keep her cool. Lucy nods her head as she walks over to the middle of the ring and lifts the title in the air before calling for the bell. The bell sounds loudly signaling the start of this championship match. Kate however could care less as she sprints right at Paige again, and Paige takes the moment to exit halfway out of the ring as she begins to call for a timeout yelling at Lucy to keep Kate away. }Vasco Dias: What a crazy woman. Take control of this thing Adams. You just canât have her charging at the champion like that.
Terri Morasco: She gave Kate a concussion. I would say Kate is just fired up tonight.
{ Paige is calling a timeout and Lucy holds Kate back as Paige slowly gets into the ring but Kate breaks free as she charges at Paige. Garcia quickly exits the ring and Kate slides out of the ring in pursuit. Paige runs around the ring right towards Sara. Kate is in pursuit and Sara goes for a clothesline but Kate ducks underneath it as she fires with a Pele kick in return. Sara is dazed as Paige slides into the ring and Kate canât help herself as she slides into the ring in return. The moment she does. Paige begins to go onto the assault as she stomps the smaller girl out. }Vasco Dias: About time! See what happens when Paige isnât be charged at⊠Sheâs out wrestling Steele! Everyone sees it too.
Terri Morasco: Kate seems to be caught and Paige has her where she wants her.
{ Paige grins as she is talking trash to Kate as she stomps her back out some more. She doesnât waste any time as she yanks Kate up and brings her hard to the mat with a vertical suplex. She picks her up hits another, and follows up by nailing her with yet another one. Kate screams as she grabs at her back in pain and thatâs when Paige yanks her back up to her feet and hits a backbreaker dropping her down across an outstretched knee. She smiles as she doesnât bother with a pin instead taking this time to lift Kate up }Vasco Dias: Keep putting more pain on her. She canât outwrestle you Paige.
Terri Morasco: And from the looks of it. I would have to agree with you there. Paige has been nonstop taking it to the former Shield Maiden.
{ Paige tries to tuck Kate underneath an arm but instead Kate is able to fight out of it as she slams some various punches into the side of Paige. She hitâs her again and again and gains a break. She grabs Paige by the hair and looks to hit her with her swinging neckbreaker but Paige actually reverses as she hitâs Kate with her Heartbreaker. Kateâs head spikes into the mat as Paige dusts her hands together as she looks down at Kate grinning. She signals to the crowd which gets everyone booing and she lifts Kate above her shoulders holding her up on her shoulders in an All About Me Position. Paige however just drops Kate to the ground as she has something else in mind. }Terri Morasco: What is Paige doing here?! She could have just finished this off with her All About Me Finisher.
Vasco Dias: Sheâs looking to end Kate and I support her every step of the way.
{ Paige grins as she lifts Kate off of the ground and she holds her in position for a spine buster but instead she drags her over towards the turnbuckles and lines her head with them. She lifts Kate up but Kate is able to counter in the middle of the air as she ddtâs Paige in return spiking the womanâs head right into the mat. Kate grins evilly as she sits up looking at Paige before she slides out of the ring and grabs a chair from ringside. }Terri Morasco: What is Kate Steele doing?!
Vasco Dias: This isnât even right.
Terri Morasco: Well considering Paige was trying to hit her with the same move that gave Kate a concussion I donât think Kate cared for it!
{ Kate slides into the ring as she places the chair around Paigeâs neck. Lucy however went to yank it away and Kate shoved her aside as she went to the top rope. Lucy has had enough as she quickly calls for the bell. }Allison Valance: And the winner of this match as a result of a Disqualification Paige Garcia!
{ Kate however could care less as she ascends up to the top rope looking to stomp the chair right against Paigeâs neck but Sara grabs her sister and getâs her out of harmâs way Kate jumps off of the ropes and looks to follow pursuit but the Garcias quickly leave. Lucy gets in Kateâs way to hold her back but Kate lifts her up and drops her on the mat with a Punk Driver. }Terri Morasco: Kate just snapped and she just took out our head Diamondâs referee.
Vasco Dias: Kathy Conway better fine this woman. Sheâs crazy!
{ Kate begins to scream as she slides out the ring to pursue The Garcias but her best friend Shea confronts Kate as she tries to hold the Brit back. Kate continues to scream and Shea is holding her ground but eventually Kate cocks back as she drives a vicious forearm right against Sheaâs face dropping her on the floor. The crowd begins to boo as Kate stares down at her best friend. }Terri Morasco: Kate just hit her BEST FRIEND!
Vasco Dias: Someone needs to stop this woman!
{ Finally security guards quickly run out and grab Kate as they escort her out of the building and we go to elsewhere. The fans booing over what they just saw. }----------------------------------------------------------
IWF IMPERIAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Jack Gaither vs Roberto Verona©
----------------------------------------------------------
{ The lights in the arena all go out at "King of the World" by Porcelain and the Tramps begins to blare out of the PA system. Spotlights begin to scan the crowd before fixating on a figure at the top of the stage which is revealed to be Roberto Verona, his head bowed towards the floor. As cheers being to resonate around the arena Verona raises his head and he begins a slow methodical march down the ramp, the spotlight following him as golden pyro rains down from above on the stage. Verona stares with disgust at the crowd who cheer him as he approaches the ring, but he doesn't react to them. As he reaches the steps he slowly ascends them before walking towards the middle of the ring apron, turning around to look into the crowd one last time before looking up and closing his eyes as he stretches his arms out wide and basks in the adulation. After indulging himself Verona climbs into the ring, psyching himself up as he awaits the beginning of the match. }Terri Morasco: This is it! This...is...IT! We're just about set for the Imperial championshp match between--
Vasco Dias: Shut up, Terri-hunny...the boss is here.
Terri Morasco: Ya know...sometimes I wish I had a new partner.
{The familiar screech of an eagle is heard, and a burst of pyro goes off as Rage Against the Machine's "Bulls On Parade" kicks into high gear. Within the plumes of white smoke, a lone spotlight shines brightly as the figure of Jack Gaither appears on-stage, his head covered by a gleaming silver mask featuring blue and gold trims on all sides. Wearing a sports jersey and all silver tights with a pattern of gold and blue flames on both sides--not to mention blue boots with silver tassels--the "Golden Eagle" quickly springs down to ringside, high-fiving random folks along the way. As he approaches the ring, Jack takes off his mask, revealing the permanent twin scars above his right eye. A cannon goes off just as the lights come back on en masse.}Vasco Dias: Jack Gaither has fallen right into Roberto Verona's gameplan--and he doesn't even know it!
Terri Morasco: I'm not sure about that...wait a sec, what's going on now?
{The camera picks up several fans sitting at ringside--one of whom happens to be Regina Kimball, Jack's one-time kindergarten teacher and current school principal who took the day off just to see this match. Upon spotting her smiling face amongst the gallery, Jack moves over and gives the entrance mask that he wears to her to a nice reception. Seeing that Roberto is taunting the Fighting Illini faithful with his classic shit-eating grin and belt gesture, the Texan nods at his former teacher before quickly looking underneath the ring, pulling out a kendo stick! Without hesitating for a moment, Jack slides into the ring and CRACKS VERONA IN THE BACK WITH THE KENDO STICK!!!}[DING!]
{The referee, not wanting any part of it, can only watch Jack waylay his victim with shot after shot to the Italian's chest and back areas to a massive roar! CRACK, CRACK, CRACK, CRACK...we can hear the sounds of the stick cracking as Jack continues to beat the piss out of the Imperial champ into the corner; the weapon finally breaks, and Jack tosses it off to the side before shooting Roberto in. Verona bounces off the ropes, winding up on the business end of an armdrag takedown, followed by a second and a third. Jack takes that left arm and drapes it over the middle rope; he hops over and out to the floor, YANKING Verona's limb across the strand to the crowd's delight. Hopping back into the ring, the Texan grabs the Illinois resident's ankles and drags him back to the center of the ring before holding his legs like he is about to attempt a leg-based submission hold. But instead...Jack REPEATEDLY STOMPS ROBERTO VERONA IN THE NUTS, triggering a massive ROAR of approval before the zebra finally steps in and subtly admonishes the Texan.}Vasco Dias: Jackie ain't caring about rules or regulations! The zebra's gotta step in and threaten him with DQ!
Terri Morasco: Disqualification is the LAST thing on Jack Gaither's mind! He wants Roberto Verona, and he wants him NOW!
{The official steps off to the side as Jack climbs up to the top buckle, motioning for Verona to get up as the Imperial champion slowly climbs back to his feet, still clutching his balls while pulling himself back together. That's when Jack goes flying, hitting Roberto with a massive corkscrew crossbody pinning variant!}1...
2...
NOPE!!!
{Jack lets loose a primal battle cry before putting both hands around Verona's neck, choking him senseless! The zebrashirt starts counting, causing the Texan to break the hold. Pulling the Italian native to his feet, Jack fires off a series of sharp, stiff right hands that reel Roberto into the corner before sending him for the ride. Verona crunches the opposite set of buckles hard, stumbling and bumbling toward Jack, who happily trucks him with a hard spear before raining down the lefts and rights! As he begins using closed fists, the ref has to physically separate Jack from his opponent--the former letting out a second war cry before climbing up to the top once more. But as the Texan flies off the top rope in a diving headbutt attempt, Verona rolls out of the way, causing Jack to hit nothing but the deck!}Vasco Dias: Didn't do his homework on that one, didn't he?
Terri Morasco: He took a l'il too much time there...and look at this!
Vasco Dias: Jack's old schoolteacher at ringside is looking on...the poor soul can't even bear to watch.
{Kimble, watching from her spot at ringside, looks on with concern as Roberto takes command, stomping away at Gaither's prone back before pulling him up to his feet and lifting him up high. Stalling for time, Roberto takes in the boos before transitioning from the grapevine into a vertical suplex. He twists Jack back around and hits him with a quicker gutwrench suplex; he transitions the maneuver once more, this time applying a third snap suplex to complete the odd combination. Taking as much time as he can, Roberto chuckles with glee, points to Regina sitting in the front row, and applies a chokeslam--quickly falling with his opponent, causing Jack to land back-first on a bent knee!}Vasco Dias: HELLO!!!
Terri Morasco: Oww...right on the spine too!
{Smiling from ear to ear, Verona goes for the pin...}1...
2...
KICKOUT!!!
{Roberto glares at the man in stripes for a moment before picking Jack up and shooting him into the corner; Jack crunches the buckles hard as the IWF CEO resumes his assault, applying one of his favorite maneuvers, a rather sleek-looking bulldog-legdrop variation that does double the damage to Gaither's face and neck! Despite being raised in Illinois, Verona hears nothing but jeers as he sets Jack back up to his feet before running at him with a head full of steam. The resulting "Madame Guillotine" clothesline--with all its power and fury--causes Jack's neck to snap backwards before hitting the canvas! Satisfied with his handiwork, Verona goes over to the ropes and points toward Kimble at ringside, the one-time kindergarten teacher's eyes widen as Roberto lays into her with a verbal assault--using R-rated language that is picked up by the high-definition audio feed.}Terri Morasco: Gimme a break Verona--enough is enough!
Vasco Dias: He's just callin' things the way he sees 'em...
Terri Morasco: He's wastin' time--that's what he's doing!
{Regina stands up, staring daggers at the Imperial champ as he continues his nasty verbal barrage, pointing back at Gaither and saying "This is YOUR former student?!" among other things. Unbeknownst to Verona, Jack has slowly managed to pull himself back to one knee and is now kneeling in the center of the ring; Roberto takes a good long look and pulls away from the potential Regina Kimble distraction in order to get back to work--only to WIND UP ON THE WRONG END OF JACK GAITHER'S TESTICULAR CLAW!!!}Terri Morasco: VERONA'S SINGING SOPRANO!!! LISTEN TO THIS CROWD!!!
Vasco Dias: DISQUALIFY THIS MANIAC, REF!!!
{Verona flails his arms like a spoiled little boy begging for some deep dish pizza, his eyes widening, his breathing heavier by the second as Jack keeps a firm grip on the CEO's testicles! The referee begins a slow count, counting to four before the Texan twists on his rival's family jewels--hard! Letting out a third battle cry, Jack watches the Italian hop around the ring like a blind rabbit before placing him to his patented fireman's carry!}Vasco Dias: Awww man...
Terri Morasco: We're goin' into Overdrive!
{Indeed, Jack connects with his most famous signature move, the OVERDRIVE, before going for the pin--with Regina looking on with pride!}1...
2...
THREEEEE--NO!!!
{Jack scratches his head, ekeing out a sly smirk as he talks to the zebra, who calmly assures him that it was a two-count, holding up two fingers. Nodding his head, Jack goes right back to work, climbing up to the top buckle and getting into his trademark praying mantis position!}Terri Morasco: Mantis Kick comin' up!
Vasco Dias: Get outta there boss!
{Just as Verona pulls himself back to his feet, Gaither flies off the top rope with his one-legged Mantis Kick--ONLY TO BE SMACKED RIGHT IN THE NOSE BY ROBERTO VERONA'S "SILENCER" SUPERKICK!!! Jack crumples to the deck, clutching his broken nose, as the Imperial champ goes for the pin!}1...
2...
THREEEEEEE...OHHHH--KICKOUT AT 2.942772597235647!!!!!!!!
{Verona stands up pissed. He's barking at the zebra man about his two-count, only to get the same two-fingered response he gave Gaither just a few moments ago. Enraged, Roberto starts berating the referee, backing him into a corner. Jack Gaither starts to claw his way toward the ropes nearest to the ramp as the crowd starts to boo,. }Terri Morasco: Is that?
{ Mike Laszlo comes running down the ramp as the crowd erupts, on the other side of the ring Roberto has the refereeâs full attention as the two argue over the two count. }Terri Morasco: Itâs Mike Laszlo!!!! I donât understand!
Vasco Dias: Heâs here to support the boss!
{ Mike Laszlo reaches the ring and rips Jack out through the ropes and onto his back. He starts to stomp him hard as Roberto has a slight smile as he continues to distract the referee. }Terri Morasco: This isnât how this match should end!
Vasco Dias: You didnât actually think Jack could win did you!?
Terri Morasco: He shouldnât lose like this!
{ Mike throws Jack hard into the steel steps and Jack bounces off hard as the referee tries to turn but Roberto draws his attention back to him. }Terri Morasco: This is absolutely bull spit!
Vasco Dias: This is IWF!
{ Mike picks Jack up for Malicious Intent and plants him on the padded floor! }Terri Morasco: NOO!!!!!
{ Mike picks Jack up and rolls him back into the ring. Roberto skirts past the referee and drops on top of Jack as the referee is unsure of what just happened. Roberto waves the referee in and against is better judgement he drops down to his hands and knees and makes the count. ONE! TWO! THREE!!!! }Alison Valance: Your winner of the match and still IWF Imperial Champion⊠ROBERTO VERONA!!!!
{ Roberto hops to his feet as the referee holds his hand up in the air, the bel ringer bringing him the championship as Mike Laszlo slides into the ring. }Terri Morasco: I canât believe this. Robeto steals another title defense.
Vasco Dias: He did what needed to be done!
