Alison Valance: The following contest is a grudge match, scheduled for one fall. It is the last professional wrestling match for both competitors. Introducing first, hailing from Miami, Florida and weighing in at two hundred and ninety-five pounds, he is "The Featured Attraction" JJ Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggssss!
{"Voices" by Disturbed hits the speaker system, which is met with a chorus of boos from the crowd. The curtain brushes aside and "The Featured Attraction" walks onto the stage, standing there for a moment looking among the crowd with a cocky smile plastered on his face. Moments later, he extends his arms out to the side and massive pyrotechnics go off around him. He proceeds down the ramp, reaching the ring and climbing onto the apron. He enters the ring through the middle rope and proceeds towards the side of the ring and extends his arms out once again, which is met with even more boos. Biggs smirks as he takes off his shirt and acts as if he's going to throw it into the crowd, but instead he tosses it into the corner.}Alison Valance: And introducing his opponent, hailing from Lexington, Kentucky and weighing in at one hundred and eighty-nine pounds, he is "The Modern Day Outlaw" Jake Keeeeeeeetooooonnn!
{The lights dim, a hush fills the arena and deafening cheers billows from the crowd as "Man of Constant Sorrow" by Charm City Devils hits the PA. Jake Keeton slowly emerges through the curtains with his full attention focused on the upcoming match. He walks down the ramp barely acknowledging the fans as he steps into the ring and begins to stretch.}Terri Morasco: These two men despise each other, I have a feeling we are about to witness an epic concluding battle to the war between them.
Vasco Dias: I'll be amazed if either one of these two walk away from the ring under their own power.
{The bell rings. The crowd is going nuts, alternating with a chant of "JJ sucks!" and "Let's go Jake!" Biggs looks at the fans with a look of pure disbelief on his way. Keeton, on the other hand, is refusing to take his eyes off his opponent. Jake steps towards JJ, ready to bring the fight, but Biggs quickly scurries out of his corner and bounces around the edge of the ring, shaking his head as he does so. Jake lunges at him, but Biggs quickly drops to the mat and rolls out of the ring. The crowd boos loudly as JJ shakes his finger in Jake's direction and shouts: "we fight when I'm ready to fight, not a second sooner!" Jake remains in the ring, bent forward with his hands on his knees.}Terri Morasco: Oh, come on, stop being a coward, JJ. Let's go!
{The referee has started his count but JJ isn't paying him any mind as he slowly makes way to the steel steps. He ascends to the ring apron, staring at Jake, who is growing impatient inside the ring. Keeton steps towards him and Biggs starts to drop off the apron, but stops when Keeton throws his hands up and moves back, screaming at JJ to get in the ring. The boos are even louder at this point and someone says something that gets under JJ's skin. He turns around and points to someone in the first row, shouting obscenities at them. "The Modern Day Outlaw" sees an opening and charges forward, clubbing Biggs in his back and sending the big man crashing into the guardrail. The crowd cheers loudly as Jake is fired up, gripping the top rope with both hands as he waits for the big man to get to his feet. Biggs is up, stumbles around, and Keeton hops onto the rope and springboards off with a beautiful Crossbody. The crowd is going nuts as a pumped up Jake Keeton gets back to his feet and looks to continue the offense.}Terri Morasco: Biggs wouldn't bring the fight to Jake, so he brought it to him!
Vasco Dias: I call foul, Biggs wasn't ready, he was distracted by a rude fan.
{The referee is at three on his count as Keeton manages to lift the big man to his feet. He proceeds to attempt an Irish Whip into the ring apron, but JJ reverses it and sends Jake crashing back first into the unforgiving structure. Jake arches in pain, the crowd booing at the sudden turn in momentum. Biggs takes a couple of steps back before charging forward, looking for a Big Boot meant to decapitate his opponent. Jake ducks out of the way and Biggs ends up in an uncomfortable position as he leg slides under the bottom rope and leaves him stranded against the apron. Keeton capitalizes and catches Biggs with a big time Spinning Heel Kick to the back of the head. JJ crumbles to the floor and as he does so, Jake slides into the ring and back out to break the count. The crowd begins to cheer loudly, "Jake! Jake! Jake!" as they show their support.}Terri Morasco: Biggs might have a permanent ringing in his ears after being on the receiving end of that kick!
{Keeton is feeling good, releasing some of his pent-up anger on JJ Biggs. He wants to keep it going as he grabs a handful of JJ's beard and starts him to his feet. Biggs gets to a knee before slapping Keeton's hands away and pokes him right in the eyes! Keeton clutches at his face and stumbles backwards; seizing an opportunity, Biggs hops to his feet and charges forward with a huge Clothesline! The crowd is booing loudly at the dirty move delivered by "The Featured Attraction!"}Terri Morasco: Jake Keeton had a serious eye injury a few years back. He still struggles with it to this very day -- what a dirty move by a horrible individual.
Vasco Dias: I didn't see anything -- like what I did there?
{The referee is shouting at Biggs, but JJ is hearing none of it as he yanks Keeton to his feet and rolls him under the bottom rope. Biggs slides in right behind him and gets to his feet, pulling Jake up as well. He sends Jake flying into the ropes -- and BAM! Upon return he finally hits the Big Boot he looked for earlier. Biggs marches towards the ropes, bounces off, and comes back with a huge Leg Drop. The crowd boos as JJ transitions into the first pin attempt of the match:
1…
2…
KICK OUT!
The crowd cheers loudly as Keeton gets the shoulder up. "The Featured Attraction" smirks as he grabs a handful of Keeton's hair and yanks him to his feet. He delivers a strong kick to the midsection, following that with a beautiful DDT. Jake rolls onto his back, his eyes still twitching as he tries to regain as much vision as possible after the eye poke earlier. Biggs wastes little time as he hops to his feet, hits the ropes once more, and comes back looking for a huge Knee Drop, but NO! He hits nothing but the mat as Keeton rolls out of the way.}Terri Morasco: Listen to this crowd! They are firmly behind Keeton.
Vasco Dias: Morons!
{Indeed, the crowd nearly explodes the roof off the building with ridiculously loud cheers as Keeton rolls to a knee, shaking the cobwebs from his head as he rises to his feet. Biggs hops up, holding onto the top rope and trying to shake some feeling back into his right knee. Keeton charges towards him but Biggs ducks beneath it and lifts him over the top rope. A small smile crosses JJ's face as he limps to the center of the ring, tapping onto his pupil, shouting to the fans: "always one step ahead!" He's very proud of himself as he turns around, but it is only now that he realizes he didn't send Jake to the floor, instead he landed on his feet on the ring apron! "The Modern Day Outlaw" hops onto the top rope and springboards off with a huge Dropkick. Biggs smacks the mat with a thud as the crowd cheers loudly. Jake gets to his feet, still blinking sporadically as he fights through the eye discomfort. He moves towards the legs of Biggs, staring down at the big man with anger plastered on his face.}Terri Morasco: Keeton has something in mind here, he looks possessed!
{He inches closer to Biggs' right knee and absolutely goes off, one stomp after another. He shouts at JJ between stomps: "don't!" STOMP "ever!" STOMP "go near my family again!" STOMP STOMP STOMP. Keeton backs away, trying to catch his breath as JJ clutches at his right knee, grimacing in pain as the referee kneels down to make sure he wants to continue. Biggs pushes the referee away as he crawls towards the ropes, using them to try to get to his feet. He does so, leaning on the top rope as he doesn't have the ability to put any weight on his right leg. He's leaning on the ropes, face towards the crowd, and Keeton moves up behind him and delivers a stiff kick to the back of the knee. The leg buckles and Biggs collapses to his left knee, barely managing to keep himself off the mat. He pulls up once more, only for Jake to wrap his arms around the midsection and pull him away from the ropes. Keeton gathers himself and shows terrific strength, sending Biggs overhead with a German Suplex! Keeton quickly moves in for the pin:
1…
2…
.KICK OUT!
Biggs gets the shoulder up and Jake rolls to his knees before standing. He waits for JJ to roll over onto his stomach and try to push himself up. With Biggs on his hands and knees Keeton bounces off the ropes and charges forward springing off Biggs back and hitting a Moonsault. The innovative move draws a pop from the crowd. Jake makes the cover but Biggs length comes into play as he’s able to immediately slide his foot under the bottom rope.}Terri Morasco: Jake Keeton is in control,here but JJ Biggs ring awareness has kept him in this one.
Vasco Dias: Of course it has Terri, the man is a genius.
{Keeton slides out to the floor and grabs Biggs already battered right leg and drags him towards the ring post before slamming his knee into the unforgiving steel. JJ screams out in agony as Jake just smiles and does it again. The referee urges Keeton to get back into the ring and “The Modern Day Outlaw” rolls under the bottom rope as an obviously injured JJ Biggs gets to his feet unable to bear much weight at all on his right leg.}Terri Morasco: Keeton has done a number on JJ Biggs leg.
{The arrogant look that Biggs usually sports is replaced by one of pain and anger as he glares at Keeton. Jake sneaks in and peppers him in the jaw with a few quick jabs but Biggs limited mobility keeps him from being able to retaliate at all. Keeton circles almost toying with Biggs as he kicks, slaps, and punches the big man. Finally JJ is able to grab Keeton and use his strength advantage to force Jake into the corner and unleash a fury of punches until Keeton falls to a seated position.Biggs then begins driving his knees, even the injured right knee into the face of Keeton until the referee forces “The Featured Attraction” away from the corner.}Vasco Dias: And just like that the tides have turned back in JJ’s favor.
{Biggs gets a wide twisted smile on his face as he looks down and see that Jake’s nose is busted as a result of those knees. JJ sidesteps the referee in order to yank Keeton to his feet by his hair. He hooks him up and drops him with The Biggs Implant! He makes the cover.1..2…KICKOUT!}Terri Morasco: Yes! Somehow Jake Keeton was able to kickout of the Biggs Implant at the last second.
Vasco Dias: I think that was a slow count.
Terri Morasco: I’m sure you do.{JJ is in disbelief that Jake was able to kick out of his finisher and shows his frustration by screaming at the referee, even going as far as to repeatedly poke the official in the chest. The referee doesn’t back down however and shoves Biggs right into Jake Keeton who had somehow made it back to his feet during the altercation between Biggs and the official. Keeton fires a forearm into the back of Biggs head causing him to turn around and as soon as he does Jake drops him with the Leaping Leg Lariat causing the crowd to erupt. Keeton drops down and hooks the leg and the referee is right there to count.
1…
2…
3….NO NO NO, Biggs kicks out at the very last second and the crowd boos loudly. Keeton looks at the referee who shrugs his shoulders.}Terri Morasco: So close!
Vasco Dias: I think this referee wants Jake Keeton to win, did you see how quick he counted and that shrug?
Terri Morasco: I don’t think IWF employes impartial officials but maybe he grew up a Jake Keeton fan and like myself and this crowd.{Jake rolls over on his back and both men lie on the mat breathing hard. Slowly Keeton gets to his feet and starts towards the corner. He begins to climb to the top rope but Biggs is up and clubs him across the back. With Keeton sitting on the top rope facing away from the ring Biggs turns his back to him places his hands under his arms and hoists him up for the Crucifix Powerbomb.}Vasco Dias: This is it..
Terri Morasco: No!{Biggs tosses Jake through the air planting him squarely on the back of his head. JJ drops down and covers as the boos ring out from the crowd.}1…2…3…Alison Valance: Ladies and Gentlemen the winner of the match, "The Featured Attraction" JJ Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiggggssss!
Terri Morasco: I feel sick.
Vasco Dias: We just witnessed history, the final match in the careers of both JJ Biggs and Jake Keeton.{Biggs gets off Keeton and stands over him as Jake just looks up at him disappointed. Suddenly Biggs does the unthinkable and extends his hand. A very hesitant Jake Keeton takes it and JJ pulls him to his feet and they raise each other's hands.}Terri Morasco: I never thought I’d see this.
Vasco Dias: Me neither. {Jake pats Biggs on the back and leaves him to enjoy the victory as he slaps hands with the fans on the way to the back and JJ Biggs follows close behind. They both stand a few feet apart at the top of the ramp to standing ovation before walking through the curtain.}[DING-DING-DING!!!]
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen...the following contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the IWF SHIELDMAIDEN!!
{The 67,000-plus inside Soldier Field go wild as the lights go out before the tron flickers to life with a flick of orange hair, before “Brick by Boring Brick” by Paramore blasts out of the PA with orange and green lights flashing wildly. Shea O’Hara barges through the curtain before standing in the middle of the stage. She lowers herself, almost squatting, before thrusting her arms into the air with the “devil horns” as a small pyro goes off behind her. She then sprints to the ring, sliding under the ropes and runs to the camera side and leans through the ropes on the second rope throwing up her “devil horns” once again.}Terri Morasco: Here we go--it is time for the Shieldmaiden!
Vasco Dias: I gotta admit, Shea's lookin' VERY stunning tonight! Makes ya wonder, is she...ya know, a bachelorette?
Terri Morasco: Oh...will you stop!?!
{“Over You” by Girlicious plays throughout the arena. Seventeen seconds into the song, Paige and Sara come out to a negative reaction as they holds their hand in the air above their heads, their index fingers pointed down at themselves as they do a quick spin around before walking down to the ring, talking themselves up to all of those in attendance and everyone watching at home.}Alison Valance: Accompanied to the ring by her sister Sara, from San Diego, California, weighing 126 pounds. She is the IWF Shieldmaidon…PAIGE Garcia!
{The two sisters jump up on the apron, posing for the crowd, showing off their beauty before each sitting on the middle rope and swinging their legs to the left, pulling the rest of their bodies in as well. They pose again for the crowd who boo as the two talk strategy for the match.}Vasco Dias: Love her or hate her...there's no denying that Paige Garcia has been quite the force in the IWF women's division as of late.
Terri Morasco: I still don't like the way she won the Shieldmaiden in the first place...
Vasco Dias: That's your opinion.
[DING!]
{As the man in zebra stripes raises the Shieldmaiden up high before handing it off to the waiting purple-shirted attendant, Paige and Shea stare each other down before locking up ring-center, but this doesn't get very far as the Californian rolls out of the ring. The Cork, Ireland native grits her teeth, watching as the Garcias confer with one another before stepping back into the ring. Once again, the two contestants engage each other with a lockup, and just like last time, Paige disengages and hops back out of the ring to a chorus of jeers.}Vasco Dias: God, I love mind games...
Terri Morasco: Not if your name is Shea O'Hara!
{This time, Shea decides she's had enough of this B.S. and hops out of the ring after Paige! She runs around all four sides, chasing the twin sister all around, but that's when Paige goes on the attack, decking O'Hara with a clothesline on the stadium field before unceremoniously dumping her back into the ring! Paige immediately goes to work on the former Shieldmaiden, picking her up by the hair and headbutting her. Shea reels to the corner before being sent crashing toward the opposite, where she crunches the buckles hard with her back. The Cork, Ireland native stumbles around the ring, clutching her back as she does so...only to wind up being plastered to the deck with a vertical suplex--followed by a second and a third to complete the troika! Down of the mat, Shea manages to pull herself back to her feet--but alas, it doesn't last as Paige, smirking from ear to ear, climbs up the buckles and flies off the top strand, connecting with a sharp missile dropkick! As Sara looks on, cackling with glee, Paige goes for the cover...}1...!
2...!!
NOPE!!!
{Paige scowls at the referee before continuing her assault, yanking the less experienced O'Hara back to her feet before crunching her oppoent's back against her knee with a devastating tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! Paige then nails Shea with a legdrop before playing to the booing Chicago fanbase, most of which are clad in Bears jerseys in honor of the long-standing NFL franchise. She then proceeds to climb up to the top rope once more, looking to put an end to the match before it gets interesting...yet once there, Paige ccontinues to taunt the crowd, insulting their beloved Cubs or the other local teams, unaware that Shea is slowly inching herself back to a vertical base.}Terri Morasco: Paige takin' a little too much time here!
Vasco Dias: Of course! She's toying with her opponent!
{Paige flies off the top rope with a slick-looking corkscrew frog splash--only to hit nothing but mat as O'Hara moved out of the way. Now it was Shea's turn to seize the advantage, sending the current Shieldmaiden for the ride; Paige bounces off the ropes and into an armdrag takedown! Paige bounces right back up--only to eat a second armdrag takedown and then a third! Still holding onto her rival's left arm, Shea transitions into a more conventional snap suplex--causing Paige to roll to the outside, where she has a conference with her twin sister Sara at ringside. But the proverbial conference at the mound comes to an abrupt end, courtesy of Shea O'Hara bouncing off the opposite side of the ring and charging forward, NAILING BOTH GARCIA TWINS WITH A CORKSCREW PLANCHA THAT KNOCKS THEM TO THE FLOOR LIKE BOWLING PINS!!!}Vasco Dias: WHOA!!!
Terri Morasco: Somebody better call Chicago Midway--'cause Shea just came in for a landing!
{We hear a small, but enthusiastic, "holy shit" chant as Shea grabs Paige and immediately chucks her back into the ring. She lets out a wild battle cry before connecting with a running leg drop and going for the cover...}1...!
2...!!
KICKOUT!!!
{O'Hara doesn't hesitate, even as the zebra holds up two fingers, and goes back on the offensive, pulling Paige up to her feet and hitting her with a series of hard knife-edge chops that push the Shieldmaiden back to the corner. Shea sends her opponent for the ride, nailing her as she bounces off the ropes with a tornado DDT! The Soldier Field gallery cheers as O'Hara applies her trademark BOMBSHELL exploder suplex!}Vasco Dias: OUCH!!!
Terri Morasco: This could be the end right here!
{O'Hara pumps up the crowd as she gets ready to tune up the band, prepping herself to execute her famous superkick finishing maneuver! But Paige, after pulling herself up to her feet and shaking off the fuzzies, ducks underneath the kick and connects with her signature HEARTBREAKER Cutter out of nowhere! The fans fall silent as Paige goes for the pin...}1...!
2...!!
THREEEE--NO!!!!
{The reigning Shieldmaiden stands up pissed, barking at the referee as Shea pulls herself toward the bottom rope and tries to inch her way back to her feet--only to be SMACKED ACROSS THE FACE by Paige's twin sister Sara, who just ekes out a shit-eating "I just ate all your cookies" grin on her face, but the man in stripes catches Sara in the act and, instead of disqualifying, gives Paige's twin the classic baseball umpire's "ejection" signal and saying something on the lines of "Miss Sara...YER OUTTA HERE!!!"}Vasco Dias: NO!!!
Terri Morasco: Sara Garcia just got flagged for unsportswomanlike conduct--and she's gonna be gettin' an early shower!
Vasco Dias: (perverse chuckling) Well, in that case...
Terri Morasco: VASCO!!! Get your mind outta the gutter, you pervert!!!
{Sara screams in protest at the official, who stands his ground and orders her to head toward the backstage area before running back into the ring! Meanwhile in the ring, Paige angrily YANKS Shea back to her feet and tries to go for a second Heartbreaker Cutter--only to see it countered as O'Hara applies her CELTIC PRIDE T-BONE SUPLEX!!! The crowd goes wild as Shea goes for the win!!}1...!
2...!!
THREEEEEEEEEEE--AWWWWWWWWWW!!!!
{We see that Paige Garcia, resourceful as ever, has managed to place her left foot on the bottom rope, thus breaking up the three-count! Shea stands up and has a few words with the ref, who calmly nods his head before holding up the dreaded two fingers, before going back on the attack! But just as she is about to nail Paige Garcia with her Fujiwara armbar submission maneuver, the Shieldmaiden counters by spinning O'Hara around and applying her "ALL ABOUT ME" Rack Attacker finisher! Paige goes for the win as the proverbial air is let out of Soldier Field...}1...!
2...!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
[DING-DING-DING!!!]
Alison Valance: The winner of this bout...and STILL IWF Shieldmaiden...PAIGE GARCIIIIIIIAAAAAA!!!!!
{Girlicious' "Over You" plays again as Paige Garcia swipes the Shieldmaiden belt away from the referee before making her exit, much to the crowd's chagrin!}Vasco Dias: I KNEW IT!!!; I knew Paige would get it done!!!
Terri Morasco: Welp...love her or hate her, let's give Paige Garcia some credit for winning this match on her own...
Vasco Dias: Really? Do we HAVE to start that bullcorn again...
{In the ring, Shea O'Hara is left to ponder exactly what went wrong...}----------------------------------------------------------
MAN OF STEEL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
2 OUT OF 3 FALLS
Ryan Shane© Vs Zasshu
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is a best two out of three falls match and is for the IWF Man of Steel Championship!!!
{The arena lights dim to a low hue as a golden spot light shines on the stage, the opening to Trivium's "Villainy Thrives" begins to play as the golden light strobes to the piano. Once the song kicks into gear Zasshu comes exploding out from the stage with a burst of pyro and to boos from the crowd. He lands in a crouched position and looks all around before standing up and throwing his arms over his head. Laura Howlett marches out from the back and walks beside Zasshu as they head toward the ring.}Alison Valance: Introducing first, the challenger, being accompanied to the ring by Laura Howlett, from Mexico City, Mexico...Zasshu!!!
{Zasshu sprints ahead of her and springs off a trampoline over the top rope and front flipping before landing on his feet. Laura Howlett claps from the outside.}Terri Morasco: The former champion has made it very clear that he plans on walking out of here tonight with the Man of Steel championship.
Vasco Dias: That's a promise he will make good on. Ryan Shane is a fluke, a flash in the pan. The Man of Steel title is going to be around the waist of Zasshu once again.
{“Victim" by Eighteen Visions begins to play throughout the arena. The entrance ramp is dimly lit as the figure of Ryan Shane makes his way out from behind the curtain. Pyro goes off as Shane makes his way to the ring as the fans erupt in cheers.}Alison Valance: His opponent from Allen Park, Michigan, he is the IWF Man of Steel champion...Ryan Shane!!!
{As he gets to the ring he hops onto the apron and enters. Once in the ring and then stands he raises his hands high to the continued cheers of the crowd.}Terri Morasco: What a difference a couple of months make. The fans used to loathe Ryan Shane and now they are cheering on their Man of Steel champion.
Vasco Dias: They might be backing him tonight, but what happens when he loses? They will turn on him again.
{The referee raises the Man of Steel championship above is head showing everyone what is at stake. With both men inside the ring the cage begins to slowly lower into place.}Terri Morasco: I think it's safe to say that these two men hate each other Vasco.
Vasco Dias: They are staring holes through each other.
{The referee signals for the bell and the match is underway.}DING DING DING
{Shane waste no time and he charges at Zasshu. He is unloading on the former champion with left hands. This cause Zasshu to drop to the mat. Shane is relentless and he is stomping away at Zasshu's prone body. Ryan lets his anger and adrenaline fuel him at he continues his assault.}Terri Morasco: Ryan Shane is letting Zasshu early that he is in for a fight.
Vasco Dias: Zasshu is just playing opossum. He is letting Shane tire himself out.
{As Shane continues his attack Laura Howlett begins yelling at him. This distracts Shane who is yelling back at her. She grabs onto the cage as if she is going to climb it. Shane turns way from her as the referee is trying to get her off of the cage.}Terri Morasco: I don't know what Shane said to her but from the looks of it Laura Howlett didn't like it.
Vasco Dias: The only thing he should be saying to her is that she is a beautiful young woman.
Terri Morasco: I know that wasn't it.
{When Shane turns around Zasshu connects with a quick right to his midsection that brings Shane to the mat. Zasshu takes something off of his hand and pushes it through the mesh of the cage.}Terri Morasco: It looks like Zasshu just used some sort of weapon on Shane. The referee didn't see it because he was distracted by Howlett.
Vasco Dias: It's Shane's fault. He shouldn't have said anything to her.
{Shane slowly gets to his feet and Zasshu connects with a spin kick to his head.}Terri Morasco: A vicious kick from Zasshu!
Vasco Dias: You know he calls that the CIESTA!

Vasco Dias: It's only cheating if you get caught.
{Zasshu has his hands raised in victory as Laura Howlett claps for him from the outside. Meanwhile the referee is checking on Shane. Finally Shane is able to get to his feet and to his corner.}Terri Morasco: The champion looks out of sorts after that kick from Zasshu.
Vasco Dias: Yeah well he better get himself ready because this second fall is about to start. Zasshu might just knock him out as soon as the bell rings.

Vasco Dias: We all saw what that did to Muru.
{Zasshu tries to lift Shane but Shane fights back. He is able to knock Zasshu from the middle rope. As Zasshu comes back toward him Shane kicks him in the head. Vasco Dias: Does anyone even know where Allen Park is?
Terri Morasco: It is a suburb of Detroit Vasco. It is one of the cities that make up what the local folks call “downriver”.
Vasco Dias: Useless information I will never need.
{Shane now mounting Zasshu and hitting him with quick lefts. Zasshu does his best to cover up but more shots than not find their mark. Shane gets to his feet and whips Zasshu into the corner. He follows him in with a stinger splash. Zasshu stumbles out of the corner and Shane plants him face first into the mat with a bulldog.}Terri Morasco: Shane on fire right now! He grabs the legs of Zasshu.
Vasco Dias: Zasshu just scrambled for the ropes. He knew Shane was looking for a submission there.
{The referee backs Shane away from Zasshu and the masked man pulls himself to his feet. With some space between the two men they begin to circle each other with neither one wanting to make a mistake. They finally lock up and Zasshu drives a knee into the midsection. Grabbing Shane he throws him hard shoulder first into the turnbuckle.}Terri Morasco: Zasshu looks pleased with himself. It's like he gets off on hurting people.
Vasco Dias: When you are good at something shouldn't you bless the world with your abilities? That's all Zasshu is doing. We should be thanking Laura Howlett for bringing him to us!
Terri Morasco: Feel free to do so Vasco.
{Zasshu working over Shane's shoulder. The referee asks Shane if he wants to quit and Zasshu releases the hold. From the outside Laura Howlett yells into the ring.}Laura Howlett: That's right! He doesn't get to quit! This end whens we want it to end!
Terri Morasco: It looks like Zasshu isn't willing to take a submission victory.
Vasco Dias: He said he was going to knock Shane out twice in a row. He isn't content with winning. He wants Shane to hurt.

Shane is doing everything he can to fight out of it. He finally is able to get Zasshu to let go.
Vasco Dias: We are getting a good look at what desperation looks like.
{Both men are face to face. Shane hits a kneeling jawbreaker. He follows that up with a chop block. With Zasshu in the center of the ring Shane locks in a knee bar.}Terri Morasco: The champion has that knee bar locked in tight and Zasshu might have nowhere to go.

{Laura Howlett yells into the ring and Zasshu instead of fighting for the ropes taps out. The referee then forces Shane to break the hold and signals for the bell.}DING DING DING
Alison Valance: The winner of the second fall by submission...Ryan Shane!!!
Terri Morasco: Zasshu gave up a little too quickly there Vasco. Something doesn't seem right.
Vasco Dias: Terri, Zasshu knows he is going to win this match. Instead of expelling all of his energy or risking injury he simply tapped out. Now with minimal damage he will still be in better shape than Shane. I love it!
{Now with both men back to their respective corners the referee signals for the bell to start the final fall of the match.}DING DING DING
{As the bell rings the two men come out of their corners. Zasshu amps up the intensity and starts delivering stiff kicks to the body of Shane. He goes to whip Shane into the ropes but it is reversed. Zasshu holds onto the ropes and Shane charges at him only to get get back dropped into the cage.}Terri Morasco: The cage coming into play as Shane hits it hard before falling between the ropes and cage.
Vasco Dias: Zasshu steps through the ropes and grabs Shane. This is going to be good!
{Zasshu starts driving the face of Shane into the steel of the cage. With Shane leaning up against the cage Zasshu enters the ring. He then delivers a dropkick to the back of Shane which drives him into the cage.}Terri Morasco: Shane's face just bounced off the cage.
Vasco Dias: Shane could be out!
{Zasshu pulls the deadweight of Shane back into the ring. Zasshu drags him over to the turnbuckle once again. He picks Shane up and places him on the turnbuckle.}Terri Morasco: It looks like Zasshu is looking for that brainbuster once again!
Vasco Dias: This time Shane is out. There will be no stopping it.
{Shane is doing all he can to fight off Zasshu. He is able to pull Zasshu up to the top rope with him. As the two men exchange punches Shane is able to get an advantage and Zasshu falls to the mat hard on his back.}Terri Morasco: Shane avoided what was sure to be a total disaster once again.
Vasco Dias: His luck is bound to run out eventually.
{Shane is still on the top rope and he looks down at Zasshu. He then climbs up the cage until he is at the top. He leaps and hits a frog splash.}Terri Morasco: Muru Splash! In honor of his fallen mentor. If Muru is watching in the hospital he is sure to be cheering Shane on.
Vasco Dias: Both men are down though. I wouldn't have called that a smart move.
{The referee begins his count. Laura Howlett is yelling for Zasshu to get up.}ONE

{Shane gets to his feet but Zasshu is waiting for him. He tries to connect with a spin kick but on instinct Shane is able to avoid it. When Zasshu turns around Shane hits him with left hands followed by a discus punch.}Terri Morasco: A little Southpaw Shuffle for Zasshu!
{Shane hits a lung blower.}Terri Morasco: Someday Snap!
{He tries to lock in his version of the cloverleaf but Zasshu scrambles quickly to the ropes.}Vasco Dias: Close call. Come on Zasshu, stop toying with him.
{Shane whips Zasshu into the turnbuckle but the former champion uses his athletic ability to leap to the top turnbuckle. He then surprises Shane with a split legged moonsault.}Terri Morasco: The World's Best Moonsault!
Vasco Dias: A picture of perfection!
{Zasshu once again looking to put Shane out with his spin kick. Shane doesn't even get to his feet instead he rolls toward the turnbuckle. Shane pulls himself to his feet and Zasshu charges at him and Shane moves. Zasshu hits the turnbuckle hard. He comes out of the corner and Shane hits a surprise shining wizard.}Terri Morasco: Shane hits a Shaning Wizard!
Vasco Dias: You got to be kidding me! Come on Zasshu!
{Shane has an opportunity to finally put Zasshu in A Crying Shane.}Terri Morasco: Shane finally has A Crying Shane locked in! They are in the center of the ring. If Zasshu taps out now he loses the match.
Vasco Dias: There is no way Zasshu is going to give in this time. He has worked too hard to get his title back.
{Zasshu is crying out in pain as Laura Howlett is yelling for him to get to the ropes. He inches his way closer to the ropes but Shane refuses to let go. Just as it looks like Zasshu is going to grab the bottom rope Shane pulls him back into the middle of the ring and continues to apply pressure.}Terri Morasco: Zasshu is showing a strong will here. He doesn't want to give up and lose his chance at becoming a two time Man of Steel champion.
Vasco Dias: Come on Zasshu, you can do it!
{As Shane continues to keep the hold locked in Zasshu slowly begins to go quiet. It isn't long after that Zasshu passes out from the pain. The referee tells Shane to let him go. Shane turns around and sees his opponent unconscious. He tells the referee to count him out, not wanting him to get off easy by losing while not giving up.}Terri Morasco: It looks like Shane wants the knock out victory! He wants to beat Zasshu at his own game!
Vasco Dias: This is the guy the fans want as champion? Someone who wants to embarrass a great warrior like Zasshu?
{The referee starts counting with Shane encouraging the fans to count with him.}ONE

{The referee signals for the bell.}Alison Valance: The winner of the third fall by knock out, and STILL IWF Man of Steel champion...Ryan Shane!!!
{The door to the cage opens and someone from the outside hands the title to the referee. The referee hands it over to Shane who raises it up in the air as the crowd cheers. As he celebrates the cage begins to rise and Laura Howlett quickly enters the ring to check on Zasshu.}Terri Morasco: Ryan Shane might have done the impossible here tonight. Once again the underdog he showed that heart and determination can sometimes put you over the top.
Vasco Dias: I don't like Ryan Shane but he was able to pull off a victory. If he was smart he would leave town. I'm sure Zasshu isn't going to be in a good mood when he wakes up.
Terri Morasco: Shane wants to be remembered when his IWF career comes to an end. With a victory on the biggest show of the year, against the toughest IWF has to offer, he may have done that.

UNSANCTIONED MATCH
Spike Kane as special guest referee
Steve Awesome vs Rob Diamond
----------------------------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: It all started back at High Stakes, Rob Diamond was fighting to earn his chance to face Roberto Verona at Night of the Immortals when Steve Awesome came out and hit him with the Jawbreaker Superkick.
Vasco Dias: The following month Rob Diamond got an Imperial Championship match anyway but Steve Awesome saw fit to deliver sweet justice and cost Rob Diamond both the Imperial Championship and the Invictus Championship.
Terri Morasco: Now here at Night of the Immortals the two of them will face off in a match not sanctioned by Imperial Wrestling, a match where anything goes and the God of Xtreme is the only one to stand between them.
Vasco Dias: Personally I don’t think this match should even be happening, Rob Diamond isn’t medically cleared to wrestle, he should be joining Spike Kane and Jack Gaither on the retirement train.
Terri Morasco: For once I agree with you, it’s quite possible Steve Awesome will end more than Rob’s career tonight.
{ We pull away from Terri and Vasco to a promo package. “My Nemesis” by Five Finger Death Punch starts to play as we see Rob Diamond at the Roulette, he’s fighting with and against some of the top names in the business when suddenly “Full of Regrets” by Danko Jones cuts in and we see Steve Awesome connecting with the Jawbreaker Superkick. Rob lays on the mat as the song fades back to “My Nemesis.” Again we see Rob Diamond, this time doing battle with Warren Kane, they’re on the outside of the ring. “Full of Regrets” cuts in abruptly again and again Rob is laid out with another Jawbreaker Superkick! We close in on Rob as he lays there, Jayson Matthews being thrown on top of him as the interlude to “My Nemesis” comes back in. The highlight moves to only a few weeks ago as Rob Diamond stands in the ring demanding answers of Steve Awesome, Steve saunters out as Rob waits in the ring, the two come face to face, Steve pleads with Rob but this time it ends with a Diamond Cutter as the music is this time cut off by “Jekle and Hyde” by Five Finger Death Punch. We move to a week later as the two of them are about to sign the contract. Rob puts Steve down with another Diamond Cutter. The song moves back to “My Nemesis” as we focus in on Steve Awesome laying in the ring and Rob Diamond standing over him. }Vasco Dias: I know you don’t want to see this but I’m ready to watch these guys kill each other.
Terri Morasco: There is something seriously wrong with you.
{ The crowd grow silent as the lights go out, monks chanting can be heard, as the chanting gets louder the stage area starts to fill with smoke. Suddenly, and abruptly as the drums and guitars kick in a pyro explodes around the stage. }“BROTHERS! MY BROTHERS!
Is this all what we are?
SISTERS! MY SISTERS!
We’ve been crushed by the fists of GOD!!!”
{ On the word God another pyro explodes either side of the rampway as Spike Kane appears through the smoke. He stands with his arms outstretched, fists balled up soaking in the reaction from the crowd. After a few seconds he simply heads right to the ring, rolling under the bottom rope and standing right in the center of the ring, extending his arms once more, before the lights fade to normal and the music fades. }Terri Morasco: It looks like Spike is ready to officiate this match.
Vasco Dias: I think he looks ready to compete.
Terri Morasco: As much as I’d love to see it we both know that is not possible. Either way the fans are happy to see him in the ring one more time tonight at Night of the Immortals.
Vasco Dias: The big question here is knowing what we know about Spike and Rob, will he be able to separate personal bias from what he’s been tasked to do here tonight?
Terri Morasco: We’re going to find out.
{ All the lights in the arena die out and the fans in attendance start chanting his name. }"AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME! AWE-SOME!"
Dramatic Pause.
"REGRETS I'VE GOT MINE............!"
{ All of a sudden "Full of Regrets" comes bursting out of the speakers like a shotgun as Steve Awesome steps out onto the stage. He turns backwards and shows off his vest with a big Steve Awesome graphic on it. Then he peaks his head back and smirks into the camera as pyros blast off on the stage on opposite sides. }Vasco Dias: Look at Steve Awesome show boating right off the bat!
Terri Morasco: Ever the entertainer.
Vasco Dias: Well all I can say is I’m glad he saw the light and threw in with Roberto Verona otherwise it could be him with the career ending concussion.
Terri Morasco: Let’s hope that decision doesn’t cost him his career here tonight.
{ Jekyll and Hyde by FFDP hits the pa as the lights start to strobe pink. Rob Diamond slowly struts out onto the ramp as the crowd pops huge for him, he doesn’t smile or look around at all, instead he marches to the ring. He gets half way down the ramp before breaking into a spring and running toward the ring. }Terri Morasco: Rob Diamond is ready for action!
Vasco Dias: Running straight into the last night of his career!
{ Rob slides in under the bottom rope and springs right to his feet, he and Steve Awesome collide in the center of the ring in an explosion of punches! The crowd roars as the two of them are going toe to toe, fists flying, rights and lefts, Spike is just watching as these two are trying to tear each other apart. }Vasco Dias: We knew this wasn’t going to be a wrestling match!
Terri Morasco: It’s going to be a war!
{ Rob starts to get the upper hand and drives Steve into the ropes, Rob hauls off with a big clothes line that sends Steve flipping over the top rope and spilling to the arena floor. Rob quickly throws himself out of the ring as Steve tries to get up, Rob grabs him by the hair but Steve catches him and slams him face first into the announce table! }Terri Morasco: They’re on the outside!
Vasco Dias: This is really more Rob’s domain than Steve’s!
{ Steve pushes himself up as Rob recovers from the shot to his face. Steve Is up and Rob takes off after him but Steve catches him with a hip toss and throws Rob back first into the crowd barrier. Steve backs off, he looks concerned, like he doesn’t want to be here. Instead of pushing the attack he heads back into the ring and asks Spike to count Rob out but Spike explains that there aren’t really any rules. }Terri Morasco: Steve Awesome doesn’t look like he wants to be here at all.
Vasco Dias: He needs to get his head in the game because Rob Diamond is not going to stop.
{ Rob picks himself up as Steve runs his hands through his hair. Rob storms over to the time keeper and pushes him down and rips the steel chair up off the mat, he slams it closed as he heads toward the ring. Steve backs up slightly as Rob slides in and picks the chair up, he comes at Steve fast but Steve is able to duck the chair shot and connects with a punch to the back. Steve grabs the chair and rips it out of his hands, he winds up but instead throws the chair aside. }Vasco Dias: What the hell is he doing!?
Terri Morasco: He doesn’t want to hurt his friend.
{ Rob turns around a connects with a lunging clothes line on Steve Awesome and immediately gets on top of him and begins to punch him in the face over and over again. Spike watches a little perplexed as Rob is just laying into Steve Awesome. Rob pushes himself off of Steve Awesome and grabs the steel chair. Steve tries to get up but Rob cracks him over the back with the steel chair once, twice, three times and then we start top lose count as the chair is literally bent over back wards on the back of Steve Awesome. }Terri Morasco: Jesus Christ…
Vasco Dias: Someone needs to get that chair away from Rob before he does some serious damage.
Terri Morasco: I think that’s the whole point of this match up.
{ Rob lets out a roar as he throws the chair out of the ring and grabs Steve Awesome by the hair, he rips him up hard and throws him into the ropes, he follows him in with another clothes line but Steve manages to land on his feet and connect with a forearm. Rob stumbled and then comes running back but Steve grabs him and drops him throat first across the top rope. Steve looks to climb back in but Rob fires off a kick right to the chest of Steve and he rolls out onto the apron. Rob climbs out after him and pulls Steve up to his feet, he connects with a hard right hand and then looks to pull him in for a pile driver but Steve reverses with a back drop on the apron! }Vasco Dias: Steve Awesome isn’t going down without a fight!
Terri Morasco: He’s fighting back but he’s trying not to hurt his friend.
{ Steve rolls off the apron as Rob lays there for a moment. Steve pulls Rob off the apron but Rob suddenly comes back to life and drives Steve into the crowd barrier with a shoulder block. He takes Rob by the arm and whips him into the apron. Rob comes in from behind with a club over the back of his head and then he grabs him, spins him around and throws him into the steel steps with a release German suplex! }Terri Morasco: Rob is just looking to hurt Steve.
Vasco Dias: Not just hurt him, he’s trying to end the career of the Face of the Franchise!
{ Rob is up and he’s seething as Steve Awesome is barely moving. Rob grabs him and pulls him up to his feet, he runs Steve down the side of the ring and throws him face first into the ring post. Steve collides hard and then falls to the mat as Rob angrily approaches him. Spike climbs out of the ring and tries to talk Rob down but Rob pushes past him and grabs for Steve Awesome again, he starts to mouth off to Steve and then goes to throw him into the announce table but Steve puts on the breaks and fires off the JAWBREAKER! Rob drops like a ton of bricks as Steve slips off the table to the floor. }Vasco Dias: JAWBREAKER!
Terri Morasco: All of Steve Awesome’s moves have been in retaliation to Rob. He hasn’t tried to attack him once.
Vasco Dias: But how long can he play this game before he gets seriously hurt?
{ Steve starts to move again, he doesn’t look happy as he gets to his feet. Rob Diamond is also on the move, using the ring apron to pull himself back up. Rob turns to see Steve standing and runs at him but Steve drops his shoulder and back drops Rob onto the announce table. }Terri Morasco: Time to get out of the way!
{ Steve looks pretty pissed off as he climbs up onto the table with Rob, he looks down on him and screams “YOU MADE ME DO THIS! YOU!” He picks Rob up, clutches him and hits him with the EJECTED Cross Face Chicken Wing Suplex off the table! Rob lands with a hard thud on the padded floor as Steve stands on the table breathing heavy. Spike looks concerned back inside the ring. Steve drops off the table and grabs Rob by the head, he pulls him up to his feet and grabs him around the waist for an overhead release belly to belly suplex through the announce table! }Terri Morasco: Holy crap!
Vasco Dias: That’s the Steve Awesome I know and love!
Terri Morasco: That could be it, Rob Diamond could be done.
{ Steve slumps against the ring apron as he looks down at his friend laying in the wreckage. Rob starts to stir and Steve just shakes his head. }Terri Morasco: Jesus is Rob still moving?
Vasco Dias: He doesn’t know when to quit!
{ Rob starts to push himself back up to his feet as Steve walks toward him, he starts to tell him to just lay down, to just stop but Rob looks up with a cold sneer and fires off an upper cut right between the legs of Steve Awesome! }Vasco Dias: Right between the legs!
{ Steve drops to his knees and Rob uses him to pull himself back up to his feet. Rob hauls off and knees Steve right in the face and sends him down to the floor. Rob marches around the side of the ring and reaches down to the padded floor, he starts to pull up the padding. }Terri Morasco: What the hell is he doing?
Vasco Dias: He’s exposing the concrete!
{ Rob has fully exposed the concrete but doesn’t stop there as he reaches under the ring and pulls out a table. }Terri Morasco: Oh god.
{ He sets the table up over the concrete and turns back to Steve Awesome who is still writhing in pain on the floor. Rob walks slowly back toward Steve Awesome who is trying to get to his feet. Rob reaches for him and pulls him up by the hair, he slams him face first into the ring apron and then throws him into the ring. Steve rolls away and starts to try and get up as Rob comes in after him. Steve uses the ropes to pull himself up to his feet and turns just in time to catch Rob with another JAWBREAKER SUPERKICK! }Vasco Dias: ANOTHER JAWBREAKER!
Terri Morasco: That has got to be it!
{ Rob staggers and then lunges for Steve with the DIAMOND CUTTER! }Terri Morasco: What the hell!?
{ Both men are down now as Spike just watches, seemingly helpless. }Vasco Dias: Damn, Rob countered a Jawbreaker with a Diamond Cutter…
Terri Morasco: Just barely.
Vasco Dias: But now the both of them are down.
{ Neither man moves for several long seconds as Spike just looks on, unsure of what to do. Finally Steve starts to move, Rob does do, the two of them rolling over and pushing themselves up to their feet, they move away from each other with their backs turned until they are both finally up. They turn around to face each other and then explode on each other in the middle of the ring, unloading with more right hands than you can count. }Terri Morasco: They’re going right back to war!
Vasco Dias: What the hell is it going to take to put one of them down!?
Terri Morasco: God only knows!
{ Steve starts to get the upper hand now and drives Rob back toward the ropes, he screams at the top of his lungs “I’M SORRY!” and fires off another JAWBREAKER SUPERKICK!!! Rob goes flying over the ropes and lands hard on the apron. Steve climbs out onto the apron and pulls Rob up to his feet, he looks down at the table that Rob set up over the floor, Steve shakes his head but he knows he has to end this. He picks Rob up for the SteveKO… }Terri Morasco: He can’t do this!
Vasco Dias: He sure as hell can!
Terri Morasco: He’s going to end his career!
Vasco Dias: That’s what Rob wanted!
{ Spike just watches, he doesn’t know what to do when suddenly all the lights in the arena go out… }Terri Morasco: What the hell just happened!?
Vasco Dias: I can’t see anything!!!
Terri Morasco: What’s going on!?
{ When the lights come back on Steve Awesome is bloody laying on the side of the apron, Rob Diamond is on his feet with a sick grin on his face. }Terri Morasco: What happened to Steve Awesome!
Vasco Dias: He’s busted open and bleeding bad.
Terri Morasco: Did Rob do that or did-
Vasco Dias: SPIKE!? It must have been Spike.
Terri Morasco: Spike looks as confused as we are!
{ Spike looks to Rob and Steve, he has no idea what happened. Rob moves forward and grabs Steve Awesome, he pulls him up to his feet, Spike goes over to him and asks him not to but Rob looks Spike right in the eyes and says “YOU WOULDN’T STOP!” He doubles Steve over, he under hooks him and pulls him out and hits a SIT DOWN PILE DRIVER THROUGH THE TABLE ONTO THE EXPOSED CONCRETE!!!! }Terri Morasco: NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Vasco Dias: Jesus.. I just.. Jesus…
{ Steve Awesome isn’t moving and Rob Diamond moves to cover him, Spike just watches but Rob looks up and screams “COUNT!” }Terri Morasco: I don’t believe this… He actually did it… He actually tried to end Steve’s career…
Vasco Dias: Yeah I didn’t think he’d pull the trigger either but… Who helped Rob?
Terri Morasco: I don’t know, I would have said Spike but he seems surprised too…
{ Spike drops down and counts ONE! TWO!... THREE!!! }Terri Morasco: It looks like Rob wins but at what cost…
Vasco Dias: I don’t know… I expected a war and I wanted to see Rob hurt… But this? This was over the top.
{ Rob is slow to his feet, the crowd doesn’t know how to react as Rob looks down on Steve Awesome with a sick grin on his face… } Vasco Dias: Up next we have the Joker in the Pack Tag Team Tournament final!
Terri Morasco: That’s right Vasco, the winners go on to face the Imperial Champion at our next pay per view event, however should they both fail they will receive the joker in the pack contract which they can cash in for a championship match, much like Mike Laszlo has tonight.
Vasco Dias: A Knitemare on Helms Street, and the ….christ...Banana Sandwiches already qualified for this match but earlier tonight on the pre-show there was a qualification match for the final spot….here’s what happened.
[EARLIER TONIGHT]{Inside the ring Desmond Thomas has Todd Williams in a sleeper hold, whilst Teddy Steele and Mohammed Al Thani are brawling at ringside. Nighthawk seems to be the legal man and he ducks under a wild lariat from Hooligan, before Nighthawk grabs the arm, spins him and locks him up in the Hangans Clutch! Hooligan taps almost immediately, and the bell rings before Nighthawk and Desmond are annonced the winners and advancing to the tournament final later tonight.}{As the ring announcer moves to a neutral corner the lights in the sold-out arena dim for just a moment as the opening strains of "I Remember (Hail To The Victors Intro)" by Tristam boom out over the sound speakers, as Nighthawk and Desmond Thomas walk to the ring confidently shaking hands with the crowd as they do so.}Terri Morasco: And here they are Vasco. The men who have the hardest path to take here, having to wrestle twice in one night.
{“By the Blood” by Drowning Pool hits the pa system and the crowd errupt with boos as Adam Knite walks out, but there are a spattering of cheers as Trent Helms comes out with him. The two of them seem to ignore the crowd and head right to the ring.}Vasco Dias: And here’s my pick of the Knite….get it, get it? I guess that only works with text…
{The lights drop, before a yellow spotlight comes on, and yellow strobe lights start playing before “Holla Back Girl” begins to play over the system, an edited version and Jayson Matthews comes hopping and jumping from behind as the lyrics hit.}“This shit is bananas!
B! A! N! A! N! A! S!”
{The crowd chant along as Warren Kane comes out behind Jayson, shaking his head lightly, but looking focused on the match, behind them both comes Spike Kane dressed in casual gear to an absolutely HUGE reaction from the crowd. They both head to the ring, Jayson slapping fans hands as they do.}Terri Morasco: This is it Vasco, the briefcase is high up there, and these six men will now wage war to retrieve it!
Vasco Dias: That is true, but this is probably going to be the craziest tag team match IWF has ever seen!
{The bell rings, and immediately all six superstars exit the ring and head towards ladders. On one side Jayson and Warren go to the same one and start to bring it to the ring. On the other side Desmond and Nighthawk are doing the same, but on the hard camera side Trent Helms and Adam Knite have both decided to root under the ring and grab chairs!}Vasco Dias: Well this looks like things are going to pick up early.
{As the other four competitors slide into the ring with their ladders, A Knitemare on Helms street slide in after them, and as Warren and Jayson pick their ladder up Trent Helms slams the chair into the ladder, forcing it into the faces of the Banana Sandwiches. Meanwhile Adam Knite does the same thing to Desmond and Nighthawk. With their four competitors down, Adam and Trent scramble for a ladder and being to set it up in the middle of the ring.}Terri Morasco: Wow, Trent and Adam could have the match won already!
Vasco Dias: Yes! I told you, they were my pick all along!
{Warren Kane and Nighthawk are the first two to their feet, and they spot both Trent and Adam about to climb the ladder. The two of them explode towards A Knitemare on Helms street and start unloading with forearms. Warren attacks Trent, and Nighthawk attacks Adam. The four of them brawl back and forth when both Jayson Matthews and Desmond Thomas get back to their feet too. Desmond charges across the ring and hits a double clothesline on Warren Kane and Trent Helms, sending them to the floor, and on the other side of the ring Jayson Matthews does the same to Adam Knite and Nighthawk.}Vasco Dias: Wow, the “rookies” cleaning house here, huh?
Terri Morasco: I wouldn’t call a two time Invictus Champion a rookie, would you?
Vasco Dias: I just did...but, y’know, with inverted commas.
{With just Desmond and Jayson in the ring, the crowd start to cheer wildly. The two of them look across the ring from each other, then at the ladder, then back at each other, then up at the briefcase. The two of them walk towards each other, Desmond points at the briefcase and starts talking smack to Jayson, who looks up, and gets hit with a sucker punch from Thomas. Desmond whips Jayson off the ropes, and hits a tilt-a-whirl back breaker on the return. Desmond is right back to his feet and hits the ropes, before dropping a swift elbow to Matthews. After the elbow Desmond gets back to his feet and grabs the ropes, trying to roll Jayson out of the ring with his feet.}Terri Morasco: Big Desmond Thomas is trying to prove something here.
Vasco Dias: Biggest night of the year Terri, can’t hold anything back.
{As Matthews rolls to the floor, Desmond turns around right into the KNITES OF THE ROUND FROM TRENT HELMS!!!! The crowd are on their feet as Trent “borrows” his tag team partners finishing move, sending Desmond Thomas down to the matt hard. Trent turns to the ladder and begins to climb up, the noise from the crowd increasing as he does so. Out of the corner we see Warren Kane heading to the top turnbuckle closest to Trent. He shouts out Trents name to get his attention and then leaps off of the top turnbuckle hitting Trent with the HANG TIME COAST TO COAST DROPKICK! Both men lay on the floor in pain after the move. At ring side, Spike Kane is slamming on the matt trying to encourage Warren to get back up.}Terri Morasco: Trent stole Adam’s finisher! Then succumbed to the Hang Time!!!
Vasco Dias: Damn straight, biggest night of the year Terri! You just can’t hold anything back!
{Adam Knite is now back in the ring and he surveys the carnage around him. He looks at Trent clutching his back and Warren doing the same before he goes to the corner and picks up his steel chair from earlier. He turns around, and just as poor Desmond Thomas is getting back to his feet he SLAMS him in the head with the chair. Thomas hits the deck like a sack of potatoes and rolls towards the ropes. Adam then heads over to the fallen Warren Kane and starts slamming the chair down on his back, his legs, his arms, everywhere he can, each shot echoing around the arena, before out of nowhere Nighthawk spins him around, causing Adam to drop the chair before….BLUE CRUSH!!! NIGHTHAWK HITS THE BLUE CRUSH ONTO THE CHAIR!}Vasco Dias: OH MY GOD!!!
Terri Morasco: He just killed Adam Knite!
Vasco Dias: Jeez….biggest night of the year Terr-
Terri Morasco: I know Vasco. We all know. It’s NIGHT OF THE IMMORTALS!
Vasco Dias: ...you stole my thunder.
{The crowd are going nuts, and Nighthawk gets back to his feet, with wobbly legs. He heads towards the ladder and begins to climb, slowly. Then all of a sudden a huge cheer breaks out from the crowd as Jayson Matthews climbs up onto the apron. He grabs the ropes and slingshots himself over them and lands on the ladder! Both Jayson and Nighthawk climb the ladder, rung by rung, before they reach the top. Hawk sends a hard shot to Jayson which makes him real backwards and wobble a little, the crowd “ooh” in response but Jayson comes back and uses the momentum to throw a right straight back at Nighthawk. The crowd are going nuts with chants of “LET’S GO SANDWICH!” and “THIS SHIT IS BANANAS!” The two begin exchanging fists when Trent Helms gets back to his feet, and begins to push the ladder over. The crowd are on fire as the ladder tips and Jayson flies straight to the floor, but Nighthawk lands on the ropes in a precarious position, before dropping to the outside.}Vasco Dias: Yes! Come on Trent!
Terri Morasco: This crowd sure are behind Jayson and Warren, however much the former might dislike the name, it’s catching on!
{Trent looks at the bodies on the outside, and those around him. He then looks out to the crowd and a smirk spreads across his face. He rolls out of the ring and looks under the apron, pulling the table out before he begins to set up the table at ringside. He drags Jayson to his feet, and lays him out on the table, but before he can grab Nighthawk. Desmond Thomas grabs him from behind and throws him into the ring. Nighthawk crawls to the corner and leans into the barricade to get some rest. Inside the ring, Adam Knite helps Trent Helms back to his feet, and the both clobber Desmond as he stands on the apron. They look at each other and then the crowd, before nailing a double superkick to Thomas which sends him off the apron and landing on both Jayson and the table, however...the table doesn’t break!}Vasco Dias: I AM THE TABLE!
Terri Morasco: You need to lay off the youtube sir.
{Trent Helms is losing his mind in the ring, but Adam points to the ladder, which they set up, and Trent begins to climb. Adam is about to, but Warren Kane is back on his feet and he spins Adam around before nailing him with a THUNDERSTRUCK! Just as Trent Hems leaps off the ladder from inside the ring with the CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THREE HUNDRED AND THIRT KIND THROUGH THE TABLE OUTSIDE THE RING! Trent, Desmond, and Jayson all crash through the table in an absolute display of athletic feat and carnage!}Vasco Dias: OH...MY...GOD!
Terri Morasco: ….that...was just….holy shit.
Vasco Dias: Terri!
Terri Morasco: I don’t care, that deserved one.
{Warren Kane looks over the top rope with concern on his face for his partner, but there isn’t a second to spare, as Nighthawk rolls back into the ring, and signals for Warren to “bring it” The two men who had put on a masterclass only weeks earlier stand in the middle of the ring, Adam Knite has rolled to the corner to recuperate. They lock up, and Nighthawk takes Warren down with a step under snapmare. He locks in a headlock, but Warren rocks to his feet right away. He leans into the ropes and shrugs Nighthawk off, pushing him into the opposite ropes. Both men dive forward with a crossbody and they collide mid-air.}Vasco Dias: Everyone is down!
{All six men are down. Desmond, Trent, and Jayson are in a heap at ringside, and then Warren, Adam, and Nighthawk are down inside the ring, Spike Kane, at ring side, is checking on Jayson to make sure he’s ok. Adam Knite is the first to stir, having time to recover from the Thunderstruck. He uses the turnbuckle to get to his feet and immediately beelines for Warren Kane. He drags him to his feet. He grabs Kane by the hair and starts leading him towards the turnbuckle. He grabs the head and starts slamming it into the turnbuckle, with the crowd counting along. ONE! ….TWO! ...THREE! ….FOUR! ….FIVE! ….SIX! ..he doesn’t get to seven though, as Nighthawk grabs him from behind with a rollup, before stepping through and locking in a modified boston crab on the nCw legend.}Vasco Dias: You can’t win with submission! Ha! Idiot…
Terri Morasco: Would you say that to his face?
Vasco Dias: Sure...I wouldn’t….I’m not an idiot.
{Warren slumps, face first into the turnbuckle while Hawk has the crab locked in. Adam is tapping furiously, knowing that it won’t cost him the match. Eventually Nighthawk lets go of the crab and stumbles away from Adam. He looks to the ladder, and then to the briefcase, but Adam Knite is back on his feet, having weathered much worst storms in the past. As Nighthawk turns around he kicks him straight in the balls, before planting him with a huge impact DDT.}Vasco Dias: Never turn your back on the king!
{Warren seems to get his bearings, and turns around out of the corner right into a KNITES OF THE ROUND!!! Both Warren and Nighthawk are down! Adam Knite doesn’t seem quite done though, he heads towards the turnbuckle and signals, aiming for both Warren and Hawk before….SCREAMING FROM THE SKY!!!!! Adam Knite collides with both Warren Kane and Nighthawk with his swanton bomb!}Terri Morasco: Adam Knite pulling out all the stops here!
Vasco Dias: Bigg-
Terri Morasco: I know! I know!
{All three men are out, with the three at ringside still down and receiving medical attention. The crowd are on their feet for this insane match. Eventually the men begin to show signs of life. Adam Knite crawls to the ropes and uses them to slide out of the ring, and comes face to face with Spike Kane. The crowd go nuts seeing the two men face off. Spike’s face is full of rage and anger, and Adam’s almost mirrors his, the tension fills the arena, and the crowd are waiting for it to explode.}Terri Morasco: Speaking of Kings!
Vasco Dias: I think I just got goosebumps!
{Inside the ring Nighthawk has stumbled to his feet and starts to set up the ladder. Adam and Spike haven;t moved, their stare down drawing all the attention. Adam gets right into Spike’s face, but neither of them throw a fist, Adam then steps back, looks Spike up and down, and turns to face the ring, seeing Nighthawk climbing the ladder. He quickly slides into the ring, and pulls Nighthawk off the ladder by his leg, before sending him over the top rope and crashing down on top of Spike Kane!}Terri Morasco: How could he do that! Spike didn’t do anything! He’s just out here to support his son!
Vasco Dias: Adam Knite doesn’t care! He’s here for the fun of it!
{The crowd are going nuts, as behind Adam, Warren Kane has started climbing the ladder. Now, Adam sees him and he too starts to climb the ladder. The crowd are screaming and shouting trying to edge the performers on as they take each agonising step. Warren reaches the top and reaches for the briefcase, but as he does Adam Knite slams him in the solar plexes, before hitting his head off the top of the ladder. Warren slumps down, and now Adam reaches up for the briefcase, and just as his fingers brush the case, Warren springs to life and slams Adam in the stomach, before the two begin wailing on each other.}Vasco Dias: Come on Adam!
Terri Morasco: This could go either way right here Vasco...the briefcase is just within reach of both men!
{Adam reaches in for Warren, but Warren rams his head right into the face of Adam Knite, causing blood to instantly run from his nose. As he’s staggered, Warren climbs that little bit higher, and lifts his legs before nailing an incredibly modified version of the Kidd Kick! Adam tumbles backwards to the floor, and the crowd explode as Warren Kane reaches up to uncatch the briefcase and hold it high into the air as the bell rings, the crowd go nuts, and “Holla Back Girl” begins playing over the PA System. Jayson Matthews is somehow back to his feet and in the ring, he helps Warren down and the two of them embrace, before holding up the briefcase high into the air.}Vasco Dias: No! ...No! No! No!
Terri Morasco: The Banana Sandwiches have done it! They’ve earned themselves an Imperial Title shot! What a claim to fame for both men right here Vasco.
Vasco Dias: God dammit, it should have been Adam!
Terri Morasco: Calm down Dias…..what is done, is done.

IWF DIAMONDS CHAMPIONSHIP
Fiona McFly vs Eternity
----------------------------------------------------------
{"I'm Shipping Up to Boston" by Dropkick Murphys kicks into high gear as Fiona McFly marches out on stage, takes a bow, and heads down to the ring--giving lucky fans quick pecks on the cheek along the way.}Terri Morasco: Here she is, the woman who defied all the odds against her last month and took control of her destiny to be here tonight!
Vasco Dias: As unbelievable as it is, there is no denying that Fiona McFly is the 2016 Iron Maiden, only the third in IWF history. The question now is can she follow in the footsteps of former Iron Maidens Alexis Caffrey and Eternity and capture the biggest prize in women's wrestling today on the grandest stage of them all?
{The lights go out completely, a eerie silence descends upon the sold out crowd. Eventually the sound of a piano fills the darkness. A few moments more pass before the lyrics to "The Sound Of Silence" by Disturbed begin, cueing blue strobe lights to provide just enough illumination for us to see the purple coloured smoke slowly gathering to cloud the entranceway.
Hello darkness my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence
Eternity emerges from within the cloud of colourful smoke. There is a mixed reaction from the adults, but the children seem to fear the shadowy woman who is wearing the IWF Diamonds Championship around her waist, a black hat and a veil with her head bowed as she seems to lightly bounce halfway down the ramp.
In restless dreams I walked alone
In narrow streets of cobbled stone
Beneath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stunned by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence
She stops in the middle of the ramp and takes a bow, taking her veiled black hat off and posing with it in her outstretched arms. She continues her journey down the ramp, skipping and carrying her hat in her right hand. She slides under the bottom rope into the ring and when she reaches the centre, she transitions into a skip, over to the turnbuckle where she hangs her hat on a ringpost, patting it.
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs
Their voices never shared
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence
The sound of silence returns once more as Eternity then skips to the middle of the ring and falls to her knees, keeping her head bowed for a moment and her eyes closed. she tilts her head back and slowly opens her eyes to the heavens. This gesture now triggers the lights to slowly be raised back up to normal levels.
}Terri Morasco: Say whatever you want to about Eternity's sanity or lack thereof, she is one of the most accomplished Diamonds on the roster. A former Iron Maiden in her own right, a former Heiress to the Throne Winner and a three time IWF Diamonds World Champion, a feat matched only by former Diamonds Amber Richards and Ana Valentine...
Vasco Dias: And yet you can never really tell what she thinks or feels about all of her success, but one thing's for sure, if Fiona can somehow pull off the victory here, her peers backstage will have no choice but to take her seriously around here...
{Fiona stands in the ring, a little nervous, but whether that is because of her opponent, her opportunity or maybe a little of both is unclear. Fiona keeps her eyes on the IWF Diamonds Championship as Eternity unwraps it from around her waist and presents it to the Head Diamonds Official, Lucy Adams.
Alison Valance steps between the champion and her challenger to make the official introductions.}Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the IWF DIAMONDS WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!
{The crowd erupt as Lucy Adams holds up the prestigious Championship.}Terri Morasco: That's what it's all about here tonight for these two young ladies, the richest prize in women's wrestling today!
Alison Valance: Introducing first, the challenger, from Belfast, Northern Ireland, she is "The Belfast Bombshell", the IWF IRON MAIDEN 2016....FFFIIIOOONNNAAAA MMMMCCCFFFLLLLYYY!
{The crowd cheer and show considerable support for the challenger.}Terri Morasco: Looks like Fiona has a considerable number of fans here tonight...
Vasco Dias: Well, Night of the Immortals is a global spectacle, they're probably all from Ireland!
Alison Valance: And her opponent, from The Other Side, she is the current reigning and defending three time IWF DIAMONDS WORLD CHAMPION...EEETTTEEERRRNNNIIITTYYYY!
{The crowd have a mixed response for the Champion.}Terri Morasco: The crowd seem unsure of what to make of the Champion...
Vasco Dias: Just like the rest of us...
{The official rings the bell to officially start the contest. Fiona steps forward to extend her hand, offering Eternity a handshake. Eternity just stares at Fiona, expressionless.}Vasco Dias: What the hell is Fiona doing?
Terri Morasco: It's called sportsmanship Vasco, I'm not surprised you don't recognise it.
{Eternity apprehensively reaches out for Fiona's hand, but pulls it away quickly at the last moment, choosing instead to bring her thumb up to the bridge of her nose and waving her fingers whilst sticking her tongue out.
Eternity then laughs, and this inspires Fiona to answer the champion's childish antics with right hands, driving Eternity back a few steps.
When Eternity against the ropes, Fiona backs up just enough to give her room to deliver a short flurry of kicks, punctuated with a beautiful roundhouse kick that causes Eternity to flip backwards over the ropes and out of the ring.
Somehow Eternity manages to land on her feet, shaking her head furiously. Eager to not lose her early advantage, Fiona walks to the middle of the ring, before running full speed and executing a beautiful suicide dive onto her opponent, causing the appreciative crowd to start chanting her name.}Terri Morasco: GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY! FIONA THROWING ALL CAUTION INTO THE WIND IN THE EARLY GOING HERE!
Vasco Dias: If you want to be seen as the best in the business, these are exactly the kind of risks you must be prepared to take, Terri!
{With both women down, the Diamonds Official begins her count.
1...2...3....4...}Vasco Dias: If both women are counted out here, it actually works in Eternity's favour...
Terri Morasco: The title cannot change hands by count out!
{...5...6...Fiona eventually finds her feet, and using the ring apron for support climbs back into the ring, causing the referee to break her count at 7. Fiona rolls quickly back out of the ring, realising that she cannot win the title on a count out.
She goes over to Eternity, pulling her back up to her feet and dragging her dead weight back towards the ring.
Fiona then rolls Eternity under the bottom rope, before sliding into the ring herself, but Eternity maintains the roll Fiona started and rolls all the way across the ring and out of the other side!}Terri Morasco: What in the world...?
Vasco Dias: This has got to be the most bizarre thing I've ever seen...
{Fiona can't quite believe the actions of her opponent and slides out after her opponent, and now both women are right in front of the announce table. Fiona wastes no time at all in trying to get Eternity back in the ring, but this time when Fiona manages to get Eternity back to her feet, the tide changes and Eternity whips Fiona into a ring post.
Fiona collides shoulder first with the steel and lets out a yelp of pain.
Eternity follows after her challenger, grabbing a handful of Fiona's hair before rather callously slamming her face against the very same ring post that had struck her shoulder moments earlier.
Fiona is busted open, blood starts to trickle slowly down her face. A fact that only seems to amuse Eternity who smirks as she throws the relentlessly joyous young Irishwoman back into the ring.}
Terri Morasco: I was afraid something like this would happen!
Vasco Dias: I think sometimes we all forget just how quickly Eternity can change her entire demeanour from childishly playful to dangerously psychotic...
{Eternity scrambles in after her wounded opposition, rolling her onto her back for the pin, but not hooking the leg, whether out of arrogance or oversight is not entirely clear.
1...2...Fiona gets a shoulder up!}
Terri Morasco: What heart and determination!
Vasco Dias: Fiona keeps her dream alive...but for how much longer?
{Eternity responds to Fiona's undying will by striking her in the face relentlessly. Eternity, then backs up a few steps and delivers a stiff kick to Fiona's ribs, rolling her over on her stomach. Eternity then steps over and sits down across Fiona's back, completing the camel clutch.
With Fiona locked in the hold, the crowd get their first real good look at the extent of Fiona's crimson mask. She screams but shakes her head furiously, letting everybody know that she wasn't going to give in yet, a prospect that seems to delight Eternity as she releases the hold and laughs.
The Champion then springs to her feet and starts applauding Fiona and gesturing to the crowd that they should do the same.}
Vasco Dias: Now Eternity's actually encouraging Fiona and all the idiots who support her!
Terri Morasco: I wish I knew if it was because Eternity is genuinely impressed by Fiona's resilience or whether she was just enjoying the fact that she now gets to inflict more pain on her.
{ The referee is on her knees, checking on Fiona. Eternity joins in, mimicking the referee, and somehow Fiona musters enough strength to catch Eternity unaware in a small package.
1...2...Eternity manages to kick out!}
Vasco Dias: What the hell was that?
Terri Morasco: Proof you shouldn't count Fiona out just yet!
{Not willing to give up so easily, Fiona quickly tries to lock in a grounded variation of her signature Shamlock sbmission, but Eternity won't let her quite get it locked in, using her free arm to strike Fiona in the side of the head. Eternity then kicks her away with both feet.
Fiona stumbles backward but remains on her feet.
Eternity finds hers, and as a desperate Fiona runs toward her, Eternity kicks Fiona in the gut, doubling her over and hooking her arms.}
Vasco Dias: Last Rites!
Terri Morasco: If Eternity hits this, it's over!
{Fiona spins out of danger and actually manages to turn the tide in a huge way by hitting her finisher, the Sending Off!
The crowd explode as Eternity goes down, but Fiona is too worn down to capitalise immediately, prompting the referee once again to start counting...
1...2...3...4...5....
Hearing the count only motivates Fiona to try and make the cover, and as the count reaches six, Fiona manages to drape an arm across Eternity's chest.
1....2.....Eternity lifts a shoulder off the mat and Fiona's face tells the story of her absolute disbelief...}
Terri Morasco: So close!
Vasco Dias: Eternity won't go down!
{Fiona is slow to her feet, but she manages it, and she pulls Eternity back to her feet, looking for another Sending Off but Eternity shoves her away, before driving the point of her elbow into the back of Fiona's head. Fiona crumbles to the mat.
Eternity grabs a handful of her blonde hair, dragging her to her feet and kicking her in the gut. Eternity just glares into the distance with her opponent hunched over. Eternity tries for a snap suplex, but Fiona blocks it and counters into a snap suplex of her own. Fiona floats over for the cover....1.....Eternity gets a shoulder up.}
Vasco Dias: You can really sense Fiona's desperation here!
Terri Morasco: Fiona is proving she can hang with the very best Diamond in the company on the grandest stage of all. I think some of her doubters and critics will be silenced after her performance tonight!
{Undeterred, Fiona once again pulls Eternity to her feet and the two exchange blows back and forth, the crowd is divided, booing Eternity's strikes and cheering Fiona's.
Eternity gets the upper and and whips Fiona across the ring. On the rebound Eternity catches an incoming Fiona with the Tears Of Sorrow (Side Effect). As Eternity sits up, she becomes transfixed by one of the turnbuckles.
Eternity leaves Fiona on the mat and wanders slowly over to the turnbuckle and climbs it, going uncharacteristically high risk. Eternity perches herself on the top rope, spreading out her arms as if they were wings. Eternity then leaps off, but Fiona manages to catch Eternity with a picture perfect Sending Off as she comes flying across the ring! }
Vasco Dias: SENDING OFF!
Terri Morasco: THAT'S IT! IT'S OVER! NEW CHAMPION!
{The crowd start chanting "THIS IS AWESOME!" as Fiona scrambles for the cover, hooking the leg...
1........2............ETERNITY SOMEHOW KICKS OUT!}
Vasco Dias: I think Fiona is learning first hand why they call her Eternity, she just keeps going!
Terri Morasco: As long as Eternity's heart still beats, I don't think you can stop her!
{Fiona is in complete shock as she scrambles back towards the ropes, wondering exactly what it is going to take to keep Eternity down. Fiona uses the ropes to pull herself up to her feet and actually waits for Eternity to find her feet this time.
As Eternity recovers, Fiona turns Eternity around, and locks in her Shamlock hold this time as the crowd are on their feet.}
Terri Morasco: Eternity could be in serious trouble here!
{ Eternity just won't tap, and manages to twist herself out of the hold just enough so her leg is on the bottom rope, prompting the referee to tell Fiona to break it.
Fiona complies but shakes her head, trying to figure out her next move, whilst Eternity finds her ground again, shaking feeling back into her arm.
Out of ideas, Fiona just charges at Eternity. Eternity catches her with the Tears of Sorrow (Side Effect). Eternity then sits up before getting to her feet and seeing that Fiona is down again, she laughs. Eternity then rolls Fiona onto her stomach before attempting to lock in her signature Deliverance submission hold. Eternity rolls onto her back with Fiona and completes the surfboard stretch part of her hold, Fiona manages to shift her weight slightly, so that Eternity's shoulders are pinned to the mat....1....2.....Eternity is forced to break the hold and release Fiona! }
Terri Morasco: Fiona used Eternity's own momentum against her!
Vasco Dias: I honestly don't know what's more scary at this point, Eternity's stubborn refusal to die or Fiona's relentless drive to succeed....
{Eternity finds her feet first, dragging a bloody and bruised Fiona to her feet and screams a single word into her face, "ABANDONED!" before scooping Fiona up and plants her head first into the canvas with THE DEATH KNELL!
...1...2...3...
Fiona is knocked out, and lays limp and lifeless on the canvas as Eternity kneels beside her.
The lights go out completely and all we hear echoing in the pitch black arena is the sound of the ring bell tolling ten times.}
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the following is your MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!!’
{The crowd jumps up, certainly knowing they’re in for a treat.}
Terri Morasco: I can’t believe this great night is coming to a close.
Vasco Dias: Yeah, don’t cry on my shoulder you sissy woman.
{"Cult of Personality" by Living Colour hits the sound system, Mike Laszlo walking out onto the stage, followed by Alexis Caffrey, to a negative reaction from the crowd. Surveying those who boo, a grin comes over his face as he heads for the ring with a confident walk, ignoring the outstretched hands of some fans along the isle, Alexis by his side holding his other hand.}
Alison Valance: Making his way to the ring, accompanied by Alexis Caffrey, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing 237 pounds…MIIIIKE LASZLOOOOO!
{The two get to the end of the ramp before Mike lifts Alexis onto the apron. She enters the ring as Mike rolls in under the bottom rope. He climbs the outside ropes to the top rope in the corner nearest the entrance ramp and poses for the crowd amassing a magnitude of booing. He jumps down and goes to the opposite corner and does the same, garnering the same reaction. With a sly grin on his face he jumps down and backs into the corner, clasping his hands together and twirling his wrists as he gets ready for the match.}
Terri Morasco: Some people claimed he doesn’t belong here, that he didn’t “earn” it, but that said, he did win the Joker In The Pack match to actually get here.
Vasco Dias: That he did, and he is cashing in on the biggest stage in professional wrestling.
Alison Valance: And now for the other challenger…
{The lights in the arena dim with the opening chords and then start to flash red, green, yellow and purple in rotation as the guitar riff kicks in, joined by the drums.. The titantron shows the silhouette of a woman with her hair blowing across her face and holding a playing card between the forefingers of her right hand, she flips it over in her fingers to reveal the Ace Of Spades, the symbol grows out of the card and gets larger with every repetition of the guitar riff until it envelops the screen. Huge flame pyros explode either side of the ramp as cards begin to fall from the rafters. The circular platform on which The Ace is stood with his back towards us and the Union Jack draped across his shoulders, starts to turn.
The platform is decorated to look like a roulette wheel. Slowly it spins a full one-eighty degrees as we now see The Ace take a swig from the water bottle in his right hand and spit the water in the air. After the lyrics to "Brotherhood of Man" by Motorhead kick in, Kathy Conway appears on stage beside her husband and takes his hand as she leads him off the platform. He throws the bottle to one side.
Now your time has come
A storm of iron in the sky
War and murder come again
Lucky if you die
The couple walks down through the shower of falling cards, hand in hand, Kathy carrying her husband's rake in her other hand.}
Alison Valance: Now residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, weighing in at 260 pounds...he is the winner of the 2016 IWF Roulette Match...JAKE...THE ACE...CONWAAAAAY!!!
{No way to rescue destiny
Scream and curse in vain
You will never be remembered
No one knows your name
When the music changes
Then all is broken down
Mighty cities laid to ruin
Burn in to the ground
The Ace gets to the foot of the ramp and the cards stop falling, the couple share a kiss before The Ace enters the ring himself, climbing the steel steps and getting the offcial to part the ropes for him as he steps through them. He walks over to the adjacent turnbuckle, climbing the second rope whilst an armed Kathy stays at ringside.
The Ace raises both arms in the air.
Murder has become the law
You cannot make a stand
Chaos rules the world now, mortal
Brotherhood of Man
The Ace climbs down and hands the flag over to a stagehand before he walks to the middle of the ring, and the song fades…}
Terri Morasco: Here is the winner of the Roulette Match. He went through 29 other men to get here, and indeed has what it takes to get the job done by any means necessary.
Vasco Dias: This is the opportunity he fought for and has been waiting for really since that ending of Metamorphosis where Roberto just barely escaped with the title.
Alison Valance: And now...the champion…
{The lights in the arena all go out at "King of the World" by Porcelain and the Tramps begins to blare out of the PA system. Spotlights begin to scan the crowd before fixating on a figure at the top of the stage which is revealed to be Roberto Verona, his head bowed towards the floor. As cheers being to resonate around the arena Verona raises his head and he begins a slow methodical march down the ramp, the spotlight following him as golden pyro rains down from above on the stage.}
Alison Valance: From Firenze, Italy, now residing in Chicago, Illinois, weighing in at 220 pounds...he is the IWF IMPERIAL CHAMPION...ROBERTOOOOOO VERONAAAAA!!!
{Verona stares with disgust at the crowd who cheer him as he approaches the ring, but he doesn't react to them. As he reaches the steps he slowly ascends them before walking towards the middle of the ring apron, turning around to look into the crowd one last time before looking up and closing his eyes as he stretches his arms out wide and basks in the adulation. After indulging himself Verona climbs into the ring, psyching himself up as he awaits the beginning of the match.}
Terri Morasco: Love him or hate him, there’s a reason why this man has been the Imperial Champion longer than anyone in history.
Vasco Dias: Yes, because he’s the most sound specimen in all of this business. The skill, the intellect, all of it is simply unmatched.
{The bell rings and the referee holds the belt as high as he can, the crowd getting ramped up for the main event as the three men look up at the Imperial Title before eyeing one another and circling the ring, waiting for the first one to make the move before Verona and Ace attack Laszlo, taking him down and stomping him out of the ring to the chagrin of Alexis at ringside who runs over to help him as the two of them square off in the center of the ring.}
Terri Morasco: This was the scheduled main event before Laszlo got involved and cashed in his Joker In The Pack Contract.
{The two men look from side to side as the anxious crowd cheer them on. They then talk a little trash before the two come to blows, quickly exchanging lefts and right to the cheering of the crowd, neither getting the advantage, but both quickly turning as Laszlo flies through the air off a springboard and takes both men down with a Springboard Clothesline!}
Vasco Dias: Talk about out of nowhere!
Terri Morasco: They thought they had taken Mike out of this match, but he’s shown up and made an impact already.
{Mike grabs hold of Ace and throws him out of the ring where his wife checks on him before turning to Verona who is staggering to his feet before Mike punts him right in the ribs. Verona flips to his back, clutching at his side before Mike stomps directly on his stomach, sending a wave of punishment through his body.}
Terri Morasco: And just like that, Mike has taken control.
Vasco Dias: Not so fast…
{Ace is back in the ring and spins Laszlo around, blasting him with shots to the face that rock the JITP winner, pushing him back into the ropes before shooting him to the far side, lifting him into the air and executing a near flawless Tilt-a-Whirl Sideslam! He jumps on the cover and looks for the win, only getting a two count before Mike shoots his shoulder off the mat.}
Terri Morasco: The Ace with the first high impact move of the match, with that Tilt-A-Whirl Slam.
Vasco Dias: It’ll take more than that to keep Mike down. We’ve seen it in the past.
{Ace goes to grab hold of Laszlo before he’s blasted from behind by Verona with a clubbing blow to the back. Ace turns and gets clubbed a few more times before Verona hooks him up and spins him down violently to the mat with a Swinging Neckbreaker! He too is quick to a cover, but only gets a two count before Ace gets the shoulder off the mat.}
Vasco Dias: This one is going back and forth, neither of these three getting the advantage.
Terri Morasco: These are three of the top stars in our industry today. To keep one down for the three count will be extremely difficult with the richest prize in our game on the line.
{Verona turns but gets blasted in the face by Laszlo and a Superkick, sending him rolling to the outside of the ring as Mike now turns his attention to Conway who is now on his stomach, trying to push his way back up, only to have the ultra-aggresive Laszlo grab him by the hair, boot him in the gut, hooking both arms and nailing him with the “Welcome to the C-L-E” Double Underhook Backbreaker, going for the cover but getting a two count as Verona somehow breaks up the cover, saving his title.}
Terri Morasco: That was a close one. Verona may have seen his title slipping away.
Vasco Dias: One reason I hate Triple Threats...the advantage of being the champion is null and void.
{The three men are all down with Laszlo being the first to his feet, followed by Verona. The two men see one another and step forward, Laszlo delivering the first blow, followed by Verona with the second. They go back and forth before Laszlo goes with a knee to the midsection, doubling Verona over due to the rib damage earlier in the match. He throws Verona through the middle rope, but locks onto his head, looking for “The Executioner” DDT, but instead, gets crippled with a Chop Block to his surgically repaired knee by Jake from behind.}
Vasco Dias: How smart is that!?
Terri Morasco: I was wondering how long it would be before that knee became an issue.
{Mike grasps at his leg as he rolls away, Jake, kneeing Verona in the head, sending him to the floor below. Ace then turns his attention to Laszlo who is in quite a bit of pain. Jake grabs hold of the bad leg and continues to stomp away, only to then pull Laszlo to his feet before taking him back down with a Dragon Screw Leg Whip, torquing at that knee again, keeping a grasp on it before lifting the other leg, and locking in the SHARPSHOOTER!!! All the pressure is on Mike’s bad knee and it’s locked in the center of the ring!!!}
Terri Morasco: THIS COULD BE IT!!
Vasco Dias: Mike’s bad leg is wrapped up tight...I don’t think he can withstand the pressure the Ace is putting on here!!!
{Mike squirms and does his best to get out of the hold, biting his own hand to coax away the pain. He crawls to the ropes and grabs hold of them, to no avail, but gets up to the second rope to alleviate some of the pressure. Ace tries to pull him off the ropes, but to no avail as Laszlo holds on for dear life, only letting go as he tucks himself downward and rolls out of the hold!}
Vasco Dias: How the hell did he get out of that!?
Terri Morasco: Straight up resourcefulness, using the ropes to relieve the pressure.
{Ace goes to lock in the Sharpshooter again but Laszlo pulls him down into a small package cover opportunity, but only gets a two count. Both men are to their feet, Ace looks for a Superkick of his own, but Laszlo ducks, going behind Ace and hitting him with a German Suplex...WITH A BRIDGE!!!
1!
2!!
NO!!! Verona breaks up the pin attempt!}
Vasco Dias: Now we’re getting down to the wire.
Terri Morasco: Each of these men pulling out all the stops.
{Verona quickly heads to the ropes and upon the rebound, nails a now on his knees Laszlo with a knee straight to the face! He then grabs hold of a stunned Ace and pulls him into the “Fallen Idol” (Crucifix Powerbomb)!!
He goes for the cover…
1!
2!!
NO! LASZLO DIVES IN FOR THE SAVE!}
Terri Morasco: Neither one of these men can stand to let this match end unless they’re on the winning end!
Vasco Dias: That’s kind of the point.
{All three men are down as the crowd starts a “This is AWESOME!!” Chant.}
Terri Morasco: This crowd letting the men in the ring know that they appreciate the sacrifices they’re making for the purpose of entertainment!
Vasco Dias: That’s all well and good, but I don’t think the guys in the ring give a crap.
{The three men get to their feet as the crowd urges them on. Mike is first with a shot to Verona. Then Ace joins in with a shot of his own on the champion. Mike then hits Ace. Verona hits Mike. The round robin continues as Ace and Roberto grab each other’s hand and try to Double Clothesline Laszlo, but he ducks and hits the ropes, returning with a lunge forward, grabbing hold of both men’s heads and dropping them back with a HUGE DOUBLE DDT!!!
The crowd erupts as Mike slowly covers Verona, only getting a two count in the process before grabbing hold of Ace and hooking the leg, garnering the same result!}
Terri Morasco: What will it take for these men to put each other down!?
Vasco Dias: I don’t know, but this is great television!
{Mike seems frustrated as he sits up to his feet, slapping the mat in anger as he stares down Verona, signaling for the end!}
Vasco Dias: He has his sights on the champion!
{Mike waits for Verona to get up and twirls his body around...LOCKING VERONA IN THE ENTANGLEMENT!!!}
Terri Morasco: He’s got the Entanglement locked on in the center of the ring! There’s nowhere for the champion to go!
Vasco Dias: We might be seeing the end of a reign!
{Mike wrenches back on the hold as Verona struggles, somehow getting a couple of steps closer to the ropes, but then drops to a knee!}
Terri Morasco: Verona is fading!
Vasco Dias: LOOK OUT!
{The Ace comes in from behind and with Laszlo in position, hits the FAMEACER!!!}
Terri Morasco: He just hit the FameAcer on Laszlo, causing him to break the hold!
Vasco Dias: What a move!
{Laszlo rolls out of the ring, being mere feet from the ropes as Ace eyes up Roberto who is clutching at his shoulder in pain. Roberto gets on all fours and Ace runs in...FAMEACER AGAIN!!!
He hooks the leg…
1!
2!!
Laszlo tries to intervene as the referee’s hand is coming down...and right as it hits for three...Verona hits Ace with Brass Knuckles on the blind side in a last ditch effort. The referee calls for the bell as Laszlo’s hands go over his head. The referee looks down at Verona, Brass Knuckles still on his hand and a smile on his face.
The referee leans out of the ring and explains to Ally what is going on to which she announces to the crowd…}
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen...your winner of the match via disqualification...JAKE “THE ACE” CONWAAAAY!!
Terri Morasco: DISQUALIFICATION!? HE PINNED HIM!!!
Vasco Dias: VERONA GOT THE SHOT IN FIRST!! GENIUS!!
Alison Valance: However, the championship cannot change hands via disqualification, and therefore, STILL...IWF IMPERIAL CHAMPION...ROBERTOOOOO VERONAAAAAAA!!!
Terri Morasco: I can’t believe this crock of absolute shit!
Vasco Dias: Terri! It was a genius plan!
Terri Morasco: He just ruined the main event of the biggest event of the year!!!
{“King of the World” plays as the World Wide crowd in attendance boos the outcome. Verona gets up to his feet and holds the title high overhead. He then climbs the turnbuckle repeating the process as pyro goes off all around him from the top of the arena. The Night Of Immortals logo appears on the screen as we focus on his smiling face before cutting to the highlight video at the end of the show.}
