Truth will set you free
The scene opens as we see Stephen wearing only a pair of khaki pants. He is pacing back and forth in his kitchen. Last week Stephen tries to tell A Girl Has No Name how he feels about her and she leaves crying and has not been back since then. Stephen and the cameraman are the only one in his home. Stephen has tried numerous times calling her, but she is not answering the phone and she is not returning his calls.
“Truth will set you free”
Stephen: Have you ever heard that saying. It must be true considering it is in the Bible. Could it be true for some people and not for others? When I am telling the truth, people do not listen to me. Nobody seems to want to listen to me and find out what the truth really is. Can the truth set you free? When I got in trouble with the law and got sent to prison. Yes, I was out in the river and yes I was in the boat with Bruce, my younger brother. He was trying to do better than his oldest brother. He went alone and got into trouble. Lucky for him I followed him. I saved Bruce’s life. If I had not gone into that river that warm night, my brother would not be alive. My brother would not be able to take care of the family business. I could have stand there and watch my brother go to a watery grave that night. Instead I took action. I did what any older brother would have done. I paid the consequence for my actions and I would do it again.
Stephen pulls up his right pants leg and points to the scar on his leg.
Stephen: I know I have said that I got this scar by fighting a Mexican and he used a shank. Part of that is the truth. This scar reminds me of the consequence of that warm night. You see a croc had tasted victory against my brother. I was able to pull him to safety inside a boat. Crocs are like human, when you take away a victory, it’s just pisses you off. You want revenge. Crocs are the same way because when I pulled my brother to safety, that croc wanted to do everything it could to get my brother back into the water. My brother was lying in the boat as the croc rams the boat. I stood up with the shotgun in my hand and was just taking aim for the croc’s eye when it rammed the boat again knocking me into the water. I had decided not to stay in the water. I swam back to the boat and was pulling myself up when all of a sudden I felt those teeth biting into my legs. The Croc tasted my blood as it tugs at my leg. I was holding on for dear life. The Croc was pulling harder and harder and how I hold on is something I will never know. For some reason the croc released my leg and I was able to use what strength I had left and pulled myself into the boat. I could not feel my right leg. Somehow I managed to grab the shotgun once again. I see the croc coming around to ram the boat once again. How I manage to get off a shot is short of a miracle. Maybe it was the survival instinct in me that came into play.
Stephen looks at the TV that was hanging on the wall.
Stephen: Have you noticed when watching a movie or a series that the cops come at the last possible moment. You are thinking the Calvary has arrived. Well on this warm night it happens, the police arrive after I shot the croc. They pulled their boat alongside of ours. They could see that both of us were in need of medical treatment, but they wanted to question us right then and there. I tried to tell them that it was our lives on the line. All they seen were a beautiful croc being killed in the river and the shotgun was still in my arms. You might say I still had the smoking gun. I was arrested and taken to the nearest hospital where the doctors were able to save my right leg, but the scar will still be there for the rest of my life. I try to tell the authority the truth about what happened, but all they cared about was that the police had seen me with the shotgun. So I paid the consequences and ended up going to prison. So once again I have to ask does “Truth will set you free?”
Stephen walks over to the fireplace. He looks at a family picture. His mom and dad are sitting down on some chairs and Stephen is standing behind his dad and Bruce is standing behind his mom and Nicole is standing to the right of Stephen. Everyone was happy in that picture.
Stephen: “Truth will set you free?” Everyone knows about Debra? She was the Warden that sent me to the prison where I met Cyrus Daniels. Once again when I told the truth, no one would listen to me. Debra had me in her “special room” and she wanted to have sex with me. She fixed me what she calls a great meal. She had even spent money on me for a pair of boxers. I would not give her what she wanted. As far as I was concern, she did not deserve to have any pleasure from me. She tore her dress and she yelled for the guards and said that I raped her. Needless to say the guards did not treat me like a king. In fact, they had a hearing without me being present. I was transfer to a stricter prison and ended up spending 18 more months there. I first started with 6 months and by the time I was released from prison it ended up to 24 months. I spent two years in prison because no one wanted to hear the truth.
Stephen walks over to the sliding glass doors that lead to the outside.
Stephen: Nobody wants to hear about the truth! Making a new life here in the United States, I thought would be different. HELL! Americans are no different than Assizes. Oh sure you say come to America and live the American dream. From what I have seen is people lies to make it to the top. People use other people to make it. People will step all over you. Is that the American dream? So I have to think why people like Rob Diamond and Spike Kane and the rest of the roster calls Cyrus and I criminals. When you call us criminals, you should look at yourself in the mirror because you will see that every single one of you are criminals. The only difference is that you have not been caught and you have not spent time in a cell or have you?

Stephen: I was telling you the truth about how I felt about you. You did not give me the chance to finish what I wanted to say. I am sorry if I hurt your feelings. I know I had hurt you because that is the first time that I had seen you crying. I know that you care for me and whether you want to believe me or not I do care for you.

Stephen: I am tired of hearing people whining because Criminal Intent involved Rob Diamond’s family and Spike Kane’s family. I have one thing to say to all of the fans and Rob and Spike. GET OVER IT! Just because you are Infamous and the Tag Team Champions, that there should be no trouble in your life. Rob thinks that he should be able to get Hope without any problems. If the State of Michigan hands over Hope to an unfit parent, then America are more corrupt then the prison system in Austrian, and believe me that is being corrupt.
Stephen starts to walk and the cameraman follows.
Stephen: Fans and other wrestlers on the roster say that it is a mistake that Criminal Intent is taking on Infamous in a Prison yard match. Other wrestlers on the roster look at Rob Diamond and Spike Kane and put them so high on a pedestal that no one could touch them. Other wrestlers are agreeing with Infamous that Criminal Intent will be murdered. To those that follows Infamous and Infamous has you scared. That’s correct I said they have you scared. You see Criminal Intent is stepping up to the plate and it WILL be Criminal Intent that makes Infamous take a step off that pedestal and when that happens, I have one advice to tell Rob and Spike. Watch the first step, because it’s a long way down. When Infamous hits the bottom and the bottom is near guys. Lineage is the bottom of the line for Infamous. Lineage is where Criminal Intent will knock Infamous off of that pedestal.
A lady had walked past Stephen and he takes his hat off and puts it back on when she passed him.
Stephen: Infamous is pissed off, cause Criminal Intent is making Infamous thinking like criminals. Rob and Spike you may not want to admit it, but we got into your minds. We started out attacking Infamous and then we went after the most important part of your life. Criminal Intent did not strike at your pocket book. Criminal Intent did not strike at your career. Criminal Intent went for your heart. Criminal Intent went for your families. At Lineage, in a prison yard match we will reach in and pull the hearts of Infamous. You might be thinking that is gross, but when we take those Tag Team Championship belts away from Infamous not only will Infamous will feel the pain, so will the fans. When it’s all said and done will Hope be able to look at Rob Diamond and see her father. Spike is trying not to get his son involved in his father’s past. Spike you have failed because after Lineage your son will know all about your business and the thing is you will not have to tell him because he will see it in your eyes, and your mangle body.
Stephen still continues walking and has a smirk on his face.
Stephen: Infamous and the rest of the world have to see what Criminal Intent has done. I am sure you want to be in denial. Infamous is already talking about murdering us. They have been planning this for a couple of weeks now. You are thinking like criminals. All you can think about is how to end Criminal Intent. I want to welcome Rob and Spike to my world. You see when Criminal Intent have faced Infamous we have been in the ring. You might say that Infamous had the advantage. Infamous has had the experience inside that ring. You talk about how you ended people’s career, and that Infamous is good at manipulating the rules, well Infamous you have never been in a prison yard fight. I have been in a couple of them and no telling how many Cyrus has been in. I have seen fights were friends have turned against each other or as Infamous would like for you to believe families. Family members will turn against each other. Everything is legal, Hell when you are in a prison yard fight your best bet is to get rid of the definition of legal. The number one word in your mind should be survival. It does not matter what your accomplishments has been in the past. All of that is thrown out on the yard as trash. Every time I see Infamous promos and they are talking about ending Criminal Intent, it makes me laugh. You keep on thinking about murdering us. You keep on building that hate inside of you. Cyrus and I know what we are doing. We have survive prison yards fights and there is a reason why. The hate that you have towards us will destroy you in a prison yard fight. It’s going to cloud your thinking and you will make costly mistakes and in a prison yard fight, costly mistakes means you could lose your life.
Stephen has a smile on his face.
Stephen: I am not saying that I like my opponents during a fight. I hated them, but not to the put where it was clouding my thinking. I learn my lesson after the first prison yard fight I was in.

Stephen: I am sure there is a question that Infamous would like to have answered. Why go after your family? That is a great question to be wondering. See wrestling here in IWF or anywhere that Criminal Intent was, nobody wanted to listen to us. It reminds me of my life. I try to tell the truth but no one wants to listen. Everyone just looks at the so call smoking gun. Have you notice that Cyrus and I don’t get excited because Infamous keeps on talking about taking us out. We are used to hearing those things about us. I bought Hope into this Rob, for one simple reason. I up the stake and wanted you to feel what I have been going through. My family got involved, without even wanting to be involved. I have paid for my mistakes, but people like you don’t want to let it go. You don’t want to listen to the truth but since I involved Hope, guess what Rob? I would say that we got your undivided attention. While you may be thinking like criminals, can you act like one? Can you really be in that prison yard and do what you have been talking about? You see Rob and Spike; I know that Cyrus and I have no problem mangling your body. We have no problem making sure that your very own family will not recognize.
The scene opens as we see A Girl Has No Name picking up that picture that Stephen tossed on the floor. She looks at it and then she begins to go and find Stephen. She goes to walk out the door and runs into Stephen. They both look at each other for a while. A Girl Has No Name turns around and walks back into the room as Stephen follows. It was so quite in there you could hear a pin drop. Stephen goes over to the bench press machine and sits on the bench. A Girl Has No Name stands there looking at the picture. After an awkward 5 minutes of silence, Stephen stands up and walks over to A Girl Has No Name. He reaches for the picture as A Girl Has No Name hands it to him.

Stephen holds up his hands and stop A Girl Has No Name in mid-sentence. He takes the picture and tosses it on the floor. A Girl Has No Name has a surprise look on her face.
A Girl Has No Name: If this is your son, you need to man up to it. How could you be so insensitive? Look what Rob and Spike is trying to accomplish…..
Once again Stephen holds up his hand and stop A Girl Has No Name. He does not look happy.
Stephen: Insensitive! I don’t care what Rob Diamond or Spike Kane has accomplished. That kid is NOT my son. There is NO WAY IN HELL he can be my son. Since when did you think Rob and Spike were being man?
A Girl Has No Name backs away from Stephen. She has never seen him so pissed off! Stephen brings his right hand up over his mouth. He is trying to control his anger.
Stephen: Look….
A Girl Has No Name: I think I have the right to know if you have a son. I thought I knew who you were Stephen? The stuff that you told me, was it ALL a lie?
Stephen: A Girl Has No Name you have to believe me when I say this is not my son.
A Girl Has No Name: Believe you? How do you expect me to believe you when everything that comes out of your mouth is a lie! The only thing that I know for a FACT is that you are a criminal! I hope Infamous will do me a favor and take you out!
Once again Stephen watches as A Girl Has No Name storms out of the room. Her last statement caught Stephen by surprise. We hear this ringing coming from Stephen’s front right pocket. He pulls out his new cell phone and looks at the number. He recognizes it as belonging to Debra so he answers it.
Stephen: This is NOT a good time!
Debra: All the time is a good time to talk about your son.
Stephen: You and I both know that he is NOT my son. What are you after Debra?
Debra: Now Stephen why would you ask a silly question for? We need to meet and discuss about you taking care of your son.
Stephen: There is NOTHING to discuss! There is one way to solve this situation.
Debra was quite, because she knew what Stephen was talking about and if he does the test than he will find out the truth.
Debra: Steve is your son! I can’t believe that you are having problem with believing that Steve is YOUR SON!
Stephen: Are you going to allow the test?
Debra: There is no reason to put Steve through this. ALL you have to do is admit that you are Steve father.
Stephen: What are you afraid of? I will tell you what you are so afraid of. You thought you could waltz into my life and tell me that I have a son. You thought that you still had something over me and just like in prison you had complete control over me. Let me tell you something Debra. Was you really in control over me? You have already lied once to get me transfer and you will lie again to get what you want.
Debra: You want that stupid test? If you want that test than you will pay for it. Why spend that money, when all you have to do is trust me. Just look at the picture, in fact I want for you and Steve to meet. Will you be willing to set some time and get to know your son?
Stephen: For once and for all, Steve is NOT my son! I want nothing to do with you or Steve. The only thing is getting that test done.
Debra hangs up on Stephen as Stephen looks at the cell phone. He is not going to throw it like he did the last one. Cell phone is expensive. He looks down at the floor and then over at the door. He is thinking about going after A Girl Has No Name. He remains sitting on the bench and he looks down at the floor. The camera focuses on the door and we see the other side of the door and A Girl Has No Name is standing there with her back towards the door. She is crying but she was able to hear everything that Stephen is saying. She has a tissue in her right hand wiping the tears away. The camera is now back inside the room as Stephen is still sitting on the bench.
Stephen: I have to try and talk to A Girl Has No Name and see if I can patch things up with her.

Once again Stephen watches as A Girl Has No Name storms out of the room. Her last statement caught Stephen by surprise. We hear this ringing coming from Stephen’s front right pocket. He pulls out his new cell phone and looks at the number. He recognizes it as belonging to Debra so he answers it.
Stephen: This is NOT a good time!
Debra: All the time is a good time to talk about your son.
Stephen: You and I both know that he is NOT my son. What are you after Debra?
Debra: Now Stephen why would you ask a silly question for? We need to meet and discuss about you taking care of your son.
Stephen: There is NOTHING to discuss! There is one way to solve this situation.
Debra was quite, because she knew what Stephen was talking about and if he does the test than he will find out the truth.
Debra: Steve is your son! I can’t believe that you are having problem with believing that Steve is YOUR SON!
Stephen: Are you going to allow the test?
Debra: There is no reason to put Steve through this. ALL you have to do is admit that you are Steve father.
Stephen: What are you afraid of? I will tell you what you are so afraid of. You thought you could waltz into my life and tell me that I have a son. You thought that you still had something over me and just like in prison you had complete control over me. Let me tell you something Debra. Was you really in control over me? You have already lied once to get me transfer and you will lie again to get what you want.
Debra: You want that stupid test? If you want that test than you will pay for it. Why spend that money, when all you have to do is trust me. Just look at the picture, in fact I want for you and Steve to meet. Will you be willing to set some time and get to know your son?
Stephen: For once and for all, Steve is NOT my son! I want nothing to do with you or Steve. The only thing is getting that test done.
Debra hangs up on Stephen as Stephen looks at the cell phone. He is not going to throw it like he did the last one. Cell phone is expensive. He looks down at the floor and then over at the door. He is thinking about going after A Girl Has No Name. He remains sitting on the bench and he looks down at the floor. The camera focuses on the door and we see the other side of the door and A Girl Has No Name is standing there with her back towards the door. She is crying but she was able to hear everything that Stephen is saying. She has a tissue in her right hand wiping the tears away. The camera is now back inside the room as Stephen is still sitting on the bench.
Stephen: I have to try and talk to A Girl Has No Name and see if I can patch things up with her.
Stephen shakes his head as the scene fades out.
