Reported on IWF.com Tyler Jacobs updated his segment with the following information, available both at www.tylertalks.com, and IWF.com.
We're less than a week away from one of the biggest shows of the year, with the Heir to the Throne in full swing, and the Heiress to the Throne coming to a conclusion! We've got one hell of a show to look forward to, and some intense matches to run down.
We've got some stand out contenders for this years Heir to the Throne, most notably Adam Knite and Mike Laszlo. Both of these guys are seasoned veterans and ex-nCw superstars. With such big names being involved, you know that no matter who comes out on top, they've earned it. What awaits the winner? An Imperial Title shot against Jayson Matthews, for the vacant championship. However, there are some sleeper hits in this tournament, and Lineage could really throw some spanners into the works Dre Cutler and Cable Arcane are my dark horse picks, but I also wouldn't count out Ryan Shane and Nighthawk. Anything can happen in the IWF, and when it comes to the Heir to the Throne? Points can be won, and lost....and everything changes.
These two are relative newbies to IWF, but don't let that take away from the fact that they are really heating up the show. The animosity between the two has been clear for all to see, and as we head towards Lineage we have to wonder....is there something more to this? Do they just not like each other? Or is there something deeper? Who knows, but whoever comes out on top this coming week is going to make a huge name for themselves, and a big point, and who knows?
Maybe even put themselves in contention for the Invictus Chamnpionship?
Paige Garcia has had a stranglehold on the championship since she picked it up. She's defended it often, and regularly and really made a name for herself in the process. Kate on the other hand, like her bff Shea O'Hara, has floundered a little in the Diamonds Division. A rare victory here and there, but a little lacklustre for the most part. Can she turn things around here and really begin to push some momentum?
I'm sorry, but my money is on Paige. She is NOT letting that belt go.
Boy has this exploded, right? The tension between Rob Diamond and Warren Kane has been building for a long time. There is history between the two of them, and did you know, Warren Kane has never beaten Rob Diamond? From the beginning of their relationship where Rob made fun of Warren, all the way to Rob taking on a father figure role to Warren, to them treating each other like family. One has to wonder, what really happened between these two? How could such closeness turn to such bitter hatred? I don't pretend to know how the mind of Rob Diamond works, but it seems like there is a tinge of jealousy in there, and perhaps the fact that Warren holds the Joker in the Pack stings a little more than it should, because everyone on the planet expected InFamous to team together during the recent tournament.
Either way, this is going to be an intense fight, an emotional battle, and one hell of a match.
This week we crown our heiress to the throne, and she gets thrown into the deep end immediately with a title match against Eternity. After weeks of battling, backstabbing, and all sorts of shenanigans we're down to the final two. Sarah Jade Wilson, and Sara Garcia....the winner, gets Eternity. Sheesh.
Now the Diamonds Champion hasn't been very vocal during the tournament but you have to believe she's been paying close attention, and scouting out her potential opponents. Sara has to be determined to break out and make a name for herself given her sisters run of form, as for SJW? This is her platform, this is her chance to finally drive home all of her points. I'm not going to go into detail, and I'm not going to debate....because she'd tear me a new one. Either way, these girls have their moment to really define their career this week, and whoever wins?
They're within arms reach of immortality!
