Welcome everybody, my name is Tyler Jacobs....we've just seen IWF Sacrifice air live and now we're here with...
WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?
We're merely hours removed from one of the biggest shows we've seen in some time. We had a ton of Heir to the Throne points thrown about, two returning superstars, Kathy Conway in the ring for the first time in lord knows how long, and an Invictus Championship match.
So...Noah Field seems to have helped Chris King become the Invictus Champion, but as soon as he did so he took out King and then took the championship form himself!? As we saw Noah is claiming the championship his own, and all but daring people to come and take it from him. We saw that Laura Howlett wasn't best pleased with the outcome, and as the night went on and we saw more of the House of Howlett....we have to wonder if Noah has really bitten off more than he can chew. Plus, the ...I guess, rightful Champion hasn't had his chance to speak yet. What is Chris King going to think about all of this, and what does he plan to do to get his belt back from Noah?
Kathy Conway took a huge step in pushing the Diamonds Division by stepping into the ring herself. For a long time everyone believed that Shea O'Hara was her "chosen" one almost in spite of Fiona McFly, so it was not as big a surprise as you'd expect when she took the offer to team up with her. The match itself was quite a showing for all four Diamonds, and perhaps having Kathy right there besides her pushed Shea to get that monkey off her back and really perform, picking up the win for her team. But what happened afterwards is what will be talked about most...Pandora Freeman took out her frustrations on Fiona! She laid the Iron Maiden out and left her there for the Garcia Twins to pick the bones! Just when it looked like they were going to put Fiona out of action, Crystal Millar of all people came to the rescue! It's all go in the Diamonds Division, and we're left with even more questions than when we began. Why did Pandora do that? Why did the Garcia's ruin the night? Why did Crystal come out to make the save!? It's all so confusing.
So it seems like we finally have some finalists after a crazy night of points gambling in the Heir to the Throne. Mike Laszlo, Dre Cutler, Adam Knite, and Cable Arcane are this years semi finalists! They will be locking up with each other this coming week on Sacrifice....but the final won't be held at Legacy. As Roberto Verona made one hell of an announcement, telling the world that the IWF will air their first ever Network Exclusive on Saturday the 27th August; Heir to the Throne! One of these four men is going to have their moment to shine, with the whole world tuning in just for the final match. Then, they get to go on and challenge Jayson Matthews for the vacant Imperial Championship. How, fricken' exciting!
Nobody expected the match we got this week between Bob Pooler and Spike Kane, I mean everyone thought that Bob was done with wrestling, and that Spike was dying of cancer! How wrong we were! Two great names in the business locked up in what was an actually quite enjoyable match, except just as it looked like Bob was about to pull off the, I suppose upset, win - the House of Howlett showed their ugly heads once more. The main event was a great match between two guys who really gave it their all and deserved that spot...but that ending left a sour taste in the mouth. I for one hope that it isn't the last we see of Bob Pooler, and I guess it's a good work because I can't wait for him to get some revenge!
Speaking of revenge.
Steve fucking Awesome returned! How good was that? Steve Awesome came to the aid of his brother in law Jayson Matthews who'd had an amazing match with Rob Diamond, and only just came up short. Rob was planning on injuring Jayson just like he did Steve, but out of nowhere the Shaman of Sexy returned (I don't care if that's copyrighted or not) along with Nighthawk trying to make the save too! Between Steve, Jayson, and Nighthaw they managed to keep the House of Howlett at bay....and Steve put Rob through the table this time! It was a busy busy night for the House of Howlett, and they have to be hurting after this. Besides interfering in the main event and laying waste to Bob Pooler, they had a pretty poor night, losing the Invictus title, and maybe even losing Rob Diamond to injury.
It's also come to my attention that as promised Kathleen Conway has reported Warren Kane as a missing person. We know now that the police are involved, and not a single person has seen Warren since he was admitted to hospital a couple of weeks ago now. We really hope that Warren is okay, and that he is found soon.
INVICTUS

DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH

REGRETS I'VE HAD MINE!
