IWF SPECIAL: HEIR TO THE THRONE
Saturday, August 27th 2016
TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts
Terri Morasco: Okay, ladies and gentlemen, we’ve arrived at the Invictus Championship match, with Chris King--the champion--attempting to retrieve his title from around the waist of Noah Field, who stole it two weeks back after the match between Zasshu and Chris King, where Noah was the special guest referee.
Vasco Dias: And Noah took matters into his own hands, counting King’s pinfall victory after Field did all the heavy lifting, and took the title for himself!
{The lights go black and then the arena is suddenly bathed in gold tinted light. A voice over hits the public address system. “The Crown Prince, The Saviour”. Then as the opening riffs of “A Cut Above” queues up the words “Adidas Presents: Noah Field” flash across the screen. A loud explosion goes off as "A Cut Above" queues up. Noah Field steps into the arena with the Invictus Championship latched around his waist and a smirk on his face as he's trailed by his hired muscle, Mark Mercer. Together the two of them march to the ring while Noah takes in the boos of the crowd. As they come to ringside Noah pauses, flips his hair back, making sure it's perfection. Then he climbs up on the apron goes to the turnbuckle where he scales it. Noah opens up his gold and green hooded cloak/jacket to show his bare stomach and chest and starts runs his hands down his chest to his abs and mouths the words "perfection". Then he removes the belt from his waist and holds it up, taunting the crowd before hopping off the turnbuckle into the ring, leaning against the ropes.
The arena lights dim to a low hue as a golden spotlight shines on the stage, the opening to Trivium's "Villainy Thrives" begins to play as the golden light strobes to the piano. Once the song kicks into gear Zasshu comes exploding out from the stage with a burst of pyro and to boos from the crowd. He lands in a crouched position and looks all around before standing up with exuberant energy. Laura Howlett marches out from the back and walks beside Zasshu as they head toward the ring. Zasshu sprints ahead of her and springs off a trampoline over the top rope and front flipping before landing on his feet as Laura Howlett claps from the outside.
The lights dim, and a block "M" Michigan logo appears in the entryway. After a few moments, "Face Everything and Rise" by Papa Roach rips through the arena speakers, and Chris King steps out into the light, wearing a "Property of Michigan Athletics" navy blue shirt and a pair of navy blue long tights with "KINGMAKER" emblazoned on the side in Michigan maize. The "M" in "Maker" is the Michigan block "M". He soaks in the crowd before heading down the ramp, sliding into the ring under the bottom rope. He waits in the corner as the crowd dies down, staring intently at the other side of the ring.
The referee calls all three men to the center of the ring, with the belt in hand. He goes down a quick rundown with the competitors and then holds the belt up, before setting it on the apron and calling for the bell.}
Terri Morasco: And we’re underway! Hopefully, we’ll get some closure to this contested title picture tonight!
Vasco Dias: What’s so confusing? Noah Field has the belt, he’s the champ. End of story.
{All three men eye one another up in the center of the ring, neither man making a move, as a hot crowd cheers wildly waiting for the match to start. Then both Zasshu and King turn and level Field with a double clothesline. Noah bounces back up but when he does he's met with a spinning heel kick, knocking him into the ropes. Then Chris King catches him from behind and sends him flying over the top rope with a belly to back suplex as the crowd goes nuts.}
King looks at Field lying outside the ring and can't help himself as a smile starts to dance across his face. That's when the reigning Invictus Champion is rolled up from behind by Zasshu and the referee counts. ...1 ...2 ..King kicks out.}

Terri Morasco: And we’re underway! Hopefully, we’ll get some closure to this contested title picture tonight!
Vasco Dias: What’s so confusing? Noah Field has the belt, he’s the champ. End of story.
{All three men eye one another up in the center of the ring, neither man making a move, as a hot crowd cheers wildly waiting for the match to start. Then both Zasshu and King turn and level Field with a double clothesline. Noah bounces back up but when he does he's met with a spinning heel kick, knocking him into the ropes. Then Chris King catches him from behind and sends him flying over the top rope with a belly to back suplex as the crowd goes nuts.}
King looks at Field lying outside the ring and can't help himself as a smile starts to dance across his face. That's when the reigning Invictus Champion is rolled up from behind by Zasshu and the referee counts. ...1 ...2 ..King kicks out.}
Vasco Dias: That would have been spectacular.
Terri Morasco: King’s going to have to have his head on a swivel if he’s going to keep his Invictus Title tonight!
{As King is scurrying back to his feet Zasshu springboards off the middle rope and comes flying at him, but King catches him mid-air, then powerslams him to the canvas. King then bounces the ropes and hits a running senton on Zasshu. Then King goes for the pin, but that's when it's broken up by Field, who jerks King off of Zasshu.
King gets to his feet, but as soon as he does he's met with a chop block, clipping the knee as King falls to a prone position. Then Noah follows it up with a snap DDT, spiking Chris face first into the mat.
Field waits as King pushes himself up. That's when Noah dashes at him, grabs him by the head, and plants his chin to the canvas with a bulldog headlock. Then Noah grabs the top rope for extra added leverage and starts to unload kicks to the back of the had, driving the head of King into the mat over and over. Then Noah lifts King to his feet and whips him into the ropes. But when he hits the ropes Zasshu grabs his foot from the outside, tripping him up and then pulling him outside the ring. Zasshu then lands a leaping roundhouse to the head and drops King.
Zasshu hops to the apron but Field moves toward him, but when he gets to the apron Zasshu hits an elbow, knocking him backwards. Then Zasshu grabs the top rope and springboards over with a hurricanrana. Zasshu wastes not a moment as he gets back on his feet and then hops back over the top rope. He stands in wait and then the moment Field is back up, he leaps to the top rope, twists, and then nails a moonsault, again driving Field down. Zasshu goes for the pin. ...1 ...2 ..Field kicks out.}
Terri Morasco: Another close call already!
Vasco Dias: Noah Field’s the chosen one… he deserves that title!
{Zasshu grabs a handful of hair and hits a series of forearms as he backs Field up into the corner. Once he's in the corner he starts to unload with a series of hard, stiff kicks to the legs and ribs. Then Zasshu takes a few steps back and lets Field fall toward him. That's when he lifts him up on his shoulders and unloads with a death valley driver. Again Zasshu goes for the pin. ...1 ...2 ..King breaks the pin this time.
King starts to unload with punches on Zasshu, driving the smaller competitor toward the ropes. Once he has him against the ropes King whips him. Zasshu hits the ropes and bounces back with a vicious clothesline. Just as King is about to follow it up Noah is up and charges at him. King turns just in time and levels him with a big boot.}
Terri Morasco: The Invictus Champion exerting his authority!
Vasco Dias: Didn’t he learn anything from Noah’s lawsuit against Zasshu? Stay away from the face!
{King now turns his attention toward Noah while Laura rolls her client out of the ring for a breather. As Noah is slow to get up King slips behind him, much to the glee of the crowd, decimates him with a powerful sleeper suplex. Noah crawls to the corner and this is where King sees his golden chance. He runs at him, and dives with a modified somersault, nailing a cannonball on Noah.
King pulls Noah to his feet then motions to the crowd as they go nuts. Then he sets up Noah for Kingmaker, but Field slips his grasp. King isn't phased, however, as he catches Noah with a superkick out of nowhere. Then King scales the ropes as the crowd roars for him. That's when he's pushed off from behind by Mark Mercer, as King tumbles to the ground head first. Then Mercer is about to climb in the ring with his legs are swept out from under him by Zasshu outside the ring, knocking Mercer from the apron and causing him to slam his face against the edge of the apron. Mercer then turns, and Field's bodyguard is put down with a bicycle kick.}
Vasco Dias: Zasshu trying to make sure the odds are still as even as they can be!
Terri Morasco: For the first time in this match, I’ll agree with that.
While this was going on Noah had rolled out of the ring and is behind Zasshu. He spins him around and kicks him in the gut. Then he tucks the head, takes a few steps back, and hits a falling DDT into the ring barrier as the crowd "ooohs". Then Noah lifts Zasshu to his feet and drops him throat first against the barrier with snake eyes.}
[/color][/span][/div]As Zasshu holds his throat Noah rolls him under the bottom rope back into the ring. Noah quickly rolls in, pinning Zasshu first. ...1 ...2 ..Zasshu kicks out.
Then Noah rolls over toward King and pins him. ...1 ...2 ..King kicks out.}
[/color][/span][/div]Terri Morasco: Noah can’t put either man away!
Vasco Dias: It’s only a matter of time, I’m telling you.
{Noah gets up and slaps his hand violently as he looks at the referee, telling him to learn how to count properly. Then just as Noah turns Zasshu flies with a spinning wheel kick, catching Noah in the jaw with it. But before Zasshu can do anything, King has a grasp on him from behind and hits a pumphandle neckbreaker. That's when Noah grabs King from behind and nails a reverse DDT.
All three men are down in the ring as the referee looks on with the carnage. Then it's Zasshu that starts to move first as he grabs the middle rope and starts to pull himself up. As he does he takes notice of King also getting to his feet. Zasshu dashes at him and starts to hit a flurry of karate chops to the shoulders, neck, chest of King. Once he feels like he has him subdued he he hits an extremely stiff kick to the knees as King falls to a prone position. Then Zasshu hits the ropes and comes back with a Legendary Rana!
Zasshu then goes to the top rope without wasting a moment. But that's when Field suddenly has a burst of energy as he runs to toward the corner and leaps to the middle rope, grabs the head of Zasshu, and DDT's him from the top rope, spiking him on the mat. Then Field pulls Zasshu up, hooks his arms, and spikes him face first with Field Envy.
Noah goes for the pin. ...1 ...2 ..Laura grabs the foot of Zasshu and places it on the bottom rope.}
Terri Morasco: Cheater!
Vasco Dias: Laura Howlett is protecting her client’s best interests!
Terri Morasco: If you say so… looks like cheating to me.
{Noah is livid. He shouts and screams at the referee and points to Laura, saying to "get her out of here". Then he turns his attention back to Zasshu, who has started to stir. Noah pulls him, hooks the arms again for a Field Envy, but just as he does King superkicks Field as he drops to the canvas.
King yanks Field to his feet, who is on spaghetti legs. Then he crushes him with a package fallaway powerbomb.}
Terri Morasco: KING’S LANDING on Field!
Vasco Dias: NO! It can’t be!
{King stands there waiting while the crowd chants.}
Crowd: King-make-er, King-make-er, King-make,er
{Finally Noah is back to his feet again and King makes his move. He grabs Noah and hits a devastating package piledriver.}
Terri Morasco: There’s the Kingmaker!
Vasco Dias: This can’t be happening again!
{But that's when he's nailed out of nowhere by Zasshu with a spin kick to the head.}
Terri Morasco: BUENAS NOCHES KICK out of nowhere on Chris King!
Vasco Dias: Head on a swivel, Morasco… head on a swivel!
{Zasshu collapses on King, pinning him. The referee counts ...1 ...2 ..King moves his foot just under the rope and the official catches the great ring awareness and stops the count. Zasshu grabs the Kings moves him to a sitting position, setting up for another spin kick to the head, but then Mark Mercer hops on the apron, catches the attention of Zasshu. Zasshu moves toward the ropes, but when he does Mercer drops off and just dares him to climb outside the ring. Zasshu balks at it, but when he turns Noah catches him with a low blow and then hooks his arms, planting him face first with Field Envy. But Noah is unable to make the pin as he falls, all three men out from getting nailed with finishers.}
Terri Morasco: Everybody’s down!
Vasco Dias: If anyone could just roll into position, the match would be over!
{The crowd is hot, loving this quick paces match as they cheer. Eventually all three men start to move, all three crawling toward opposite corners. Once they are all on their feet they stagger to the center of the ring. It's Noah first, who hits a right hand to the jaw of Zasshu and staggers him back a step. Then King nails Field with a right hand knocking him back a step. Then Zasshu follows it up with a right hand on King. Back and forth, all three men go, exchanging punches in the center of ring, going toe to toe.
It's Zasshu who changes it up, hitting a hard buzzsaw style kick to the ribs of King, followed by a roundhouse to the head of King, dropping him like deadweight. But then as he turns Noah hits yet another low blow on Zasshu and then hits an impaler DDT on him.
Determined to finish the match, Field pulls King to his feet and tries to lift him on his shoulders for Honour Killing, but King slips off and then nails a package fallaway powerbomb on Field.}
Terri Morasco: ANOTHER KINGMAKER ON FIELD!
Vasco Dias: The match was going so well...
{Then King goes to Zasshu, who is starting to stir. King pulls him in as well and then nails him with a King Maker as well. King then goes to pin Zasshu and the referee counts. ...1 ...2 ..Mercer pulls King out of the ring and then rams him face first into the steel ring post. Then he clotheslines King, nearly ripping his head off.
Back in the ring, Zasshu is stirring. He crawls over to Field and drapes an arm over him and the official counts. ...1 ...2 ..Field kicks out!}
Terri Morasco: Oh my god, the action is fast and furious, and nobody’s any closer to closing this out!
Vasco Dias: I’m having a hard time understanding how this is exciting to anyone. Field should have won this a while ago!
{Zasshu wobbles back to his legs. He goes to the apron and waits for Field. Once Field gets to his feet Zasshu springboards over the top rope springboard corkscrew. Zasshu hops to his feet with a newfound sense of urgency. Then as Field stumbles to his feet he goes for Buenas Noches Kick, but Field ducks beneath it and uses Zasshu's momentum to lift him up on his shoulders for Honour Killing. But Zasshu slips off his shoulders and then lands Buenas Noches Kick, but again Field ducks beneath it, only this time King was behind him and gets hit with it instead.
Before Zasshu can react, Field rolls up the masked wrestler, holding the tights for extra leverage. The referee, not seeing it, counts. ...1 ...2 ...3!}
Vasco Dias: Noah Field has done it! He has exorcised the demons of the indy puke and the pretender champion and claimed his place in history!
Terri Morasco: I can’t believe you’re okay with this. This is a true travesty of justice!
{Noah quickly rolls out of the ring and runs to the time keepers table, grabbing his belt as "A Cut Above" starts to play. He makes his way toward the entrance with haste, Mercer in two. As he gets to the top of the ramp, putting distance between himself and his opponents, he holds the belt up high and just smirks toward his opponent. Then he looks at the title, staring at his own reflection. He falls to his knees and then raises the belt to his lips and kisses it. Field then stands up, puts the strap over his shoulder, and then pats Mercer on the arm as the two make their exit.}

Tiffany Jones: "Hello, everyone. I am Tiffany Jones and I'm standing by with Dominic Creed and his wife, Whitney Williams-Creed. I have to ask you, Dominic. How does it feel to lose two matches in a row?"
{Dominic Creed shakes his head, lowering it before speaking.}
Dominic Creed: "TIffany, it doesn't feel good. I'll be honest, my career isn't starting out all that great. This last loss to Mike Phoenix in the Triple Threat with him and Freakke... It's made me re-evaulate my position in IWF."
{Tiffany nods.}
Tiffany Jones: "Does that mean you are going to hang up your boots for good?"
{Dominic shrugs.}
Dominic Creed: "No, not yet. I still have a LOT to give to this company, and I'm not about to let a guy like Mike Phoenix run over top of me. I am going to win from now on. I can't afford to lose again, Tiffany. I just can't. I have to get myself in check. I have to win. It's my only option."

Tiffany Jones: "So, do you have a message you want to send to Mike Phoenix?"

Dominic Creed: "Phoenix, your ass is mine. You want to get in my business and start something, then let's go at it. I challenge you to a one-on-one match at the next Monday Night Sacrifice. Do you have the balls to show up and take me o..."

As he stands up to survey the damage, Mike Phoenix smirks as Dominic Creed is seen completely knocked out by the finishing move. Mike then looks over and puts his attention on Creed's girl, Whitney.}
Mike Phoenix: "Whitney, if you want a taste of a real man, then you know I'm not hard to find. Besides, I think your hubbie's career just came to an abrupt end."
{As Mike laughs in an evil manner, he walks off screen as Whitney drops down and checks on Dominic Creed. He still hasn't moved an inch and remains unconscious after taking a Phoenix Breaker on the concrete floor. you.}

{ We cut to ringside to see Wallace and T.K. Smiles already in the ring, ready for the upcoming trips match as they wait for their opponent. }
Terri Morasco: Well friends, we've had some technical difficulties and we apologize, but looks like everything's working for our triple threat--
Vasco Dias: --between three nobodies that nobody gives a flyin' fu--
Terri Morasco: Funnel cakes?
{ As "Stick To Your Guns" by Sick Puppies hits, a red spotlight and red lights flash across the arena. Mike Phoenix walks out with his head down. Following close behind is his manager and girlfriend, Amber Rain. He raises his head and has a shit eating grin on his face as he slowly starts to walk down the walkway. As Amber stays close close, he suddenly takes off running fast and slides feet first under the bottom rope. He then walks over to the ropes and holds down the bottom rope for Amber. As the two arrive in the ring, Mike reaches the ropes and leans over them, throwing up his arms in premature victory. Phoenix is seen pacing around the ring as Amber points at him and begins to clap, just itching to get his hands on his opponent. }
[DING!]
{ As the stripeshirt calls for the bell; all three men stare at each other in the center of the ring for a moment. At this juncture, the two 190-pounders of the lot--T.K. and Mike--decide to immediately go after the much-smaller Wallace! Mike Phoenix goes first, nailing Wallace some hard right hands that reel him back toward the ropes before sending him for the ride; Wallace bounces off the ropes and into a hard dropkick! Wallace kips back up to his feet...only to be dropkicked a second time before being slammed to the deck with a hard front suplex! As T.K. is all smiles--cackling with glee over his opponent's handiwork so far--he watches with a deep sense of amusement as Phoenix heads up to the top buckle, flying off with a front-450 splash before going for a pin... }
1...!
2...!!
{ ...only to have T.K. yank Mike off of Wallace and then unceremoniously dump him over the top rope with a back body drop after shooting him into the opposite side! }
Terri Morasco: Welp, looks like T.K. wants to have some playtime with Wallace on his own!
Vasco Dias: Creepy...
{ Indeed, T.K. Smiles laughs with a sinister smirk on his face as he's eager to have some fun at Wallace's expense; the smaller 150-pounder finds out real quick that Smiles isn't the happy sort, winding up on the business end of a German suplex--followed a second, this one the "release" variety that dumps the poor soul on the outside. Phoenix, albeit hesitant at first, chucks Wallace back inside the ring and into T.K.'s "tender loving" arms...at which point, the evil clown spikes the hapless Wallace to the mat with a sit-down piledriver before heading up to the top strand. T.K. flies off, nailing Wallace with a senton before going for a cover... }
1...!
2...!!
{ ...only to have Mike Phoenix rush in and break up the pin himself! Now Phoenix and Smiles are trading blows, matching each other move for move as the zebra dude begins to lose control of the match--leaving poor Wallace to take a peaceful slumber in the borner! }
Terri Morasco: Pandemonium breaking loose here...
Vasco Dias: C'mon, just get this snoozer done already!
Terri Morasco: And I thought you liked clowns, huh?
Vasco Dias: Not with a kisser as goofy as Kanye West's...
{ Smiles and Phoenix continue duking it out in the corner, leaving Wallace to his power-nap in the opposing end. Eventually, Phoenix takes charge, knocking the proverbial smile out of T.K. with his patented "Wings of the Phoenix" double-arm DDT! He then turns his focus back to Wallace, waking the 150-pounder from his date in dreamland with his RKO maneuver he calls the RED EYE RUSH! }
Vasco Dias: Can this finally end?
Terri Morasco: Let ME do the damn commentary!
{ Phoenix goes for the pin... }
1...!
2...!!
{ ...only to have the count broken up by Smiles at the last second! After mustering a remorseless, Joker-esque laugh, T.K. kicks Mike Phoenix in the balls before sending him packing to the arena floor! He then turns his attention toward the seemingly defenseless Wallace, who tries to fend for himself with some rights and lefts--only to wind up on the wrong end of T.K.'s STO maneuver he calls THE PUNCH LINE! Wallace is on the deck, laid out spread-eagle as Smiles covers! }

THREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
{ DING-DING-DING!! }
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the IWF SHIELDMAIDEN CHAMPIONSHIP!!!
{"I'm Shipping Up to Boston" by Dropkick Murphys kicks into high gear as Fiona McFly marches out on stage, takes a bow, and heads down to the ring--giving lucky fans quick pecks on the cheek along the way.}
Alison Valance: Now residing in Arlington, Texas, Fiona...MCFLY!
Terri Morasco: A huge opportunity tonight for Fiona McFly.
Vasco Dias: So? How often have we heard that before?
Alison Valance: And her opponent…
{“Over You” by Girlicious plays throughout the arena. Seventeen seconds into the song, Paige and Sara come out to a negative reaction as they holds their hand in the air above their heads, their index fingers pointed down at themselves as they do a quick spin around before walking down to the ring, talking themselves up to all of those in attendance and everyone watching at home.}
Alison Valance: Accompanied to the ring by her sister Sara, from San Diego, California, weighing 126 pounds…PAIGE GARCIA!
{The two sisters jump up on the apron, posing for the crowd, showing off their beauty before each sitting on the middle rope and swinging their legs to the left, pulling the rest of their bodies in as well. They pose again for the crowd who boo as the two talk strategy for the match.}
Terri Morasco: She’s been the Shieldmaiden for one hundred and twenty-six days, and doesn’t look like she’s willing to relinquish that title anytime soon.
Vasco Dias: Not a chance in hell…
{The bell rings and Fiona, stubborn in her ways...marches to the center of the ring, extending her hand for a bit of sportswomanship. Paige looks at her before tossing away her hat, turning her back on Fiona before thrusting her foot back into the Irish girl’s face.}
Vasco Dias: GOOD GRIEF!!
Terri Morasco: Fiona just wanted to exuberate her morals.
Vasco Dias: And Paige told her to stick em!
{Paige grabs Fiona by the hair and pulls her to her feet, throwing her into the corner before extending her foot up into Fiona’s throat with a smile on her face out to the crowd who boo her actions. The referee then gets to four before Paige pulls her foot away, Fiona dropping to a seated position.}
Terri Morasco: And after that shot to the face of Fiona, Paige has held control of this match.
Vasco Dias: Did you have a doubt?
{Paige charges in but Fiona moves and Paige’s knee hits hard on the turnbuckle. Fiona turns as Paige stumbles out of the corner and rolls her up in a School Girl but only gets a two count before the two get to their feet with Paige leveling Fiona with a huge Clothesline!}
Terri Morasco: SHE NEARLY TOOK HER HEAD OFF!!!
Vasco Dias: Straight power!
{Paige grabs hold of Fiona again and tries to turn her into a Neckbreaker, but Fiona hits a few elbows to the side of Paige, releasing her grip. Fiona then runs to the ropes and as she returns, ducks a Clothesline from Paige, bounces off the ropes again and wraps around Paige and takes her down with a Crucifix Roll Up to the tune of a two count. The two get up again, and again Paige goes for a Clothesline, but Fiona ducks and grabs the Shieldmaiden by her waist, taking her down to the mat below, locking her in a front chancery. Paige pulls with her knees and is able to slide under the bottom rope, escaping the hold. She thinks she has some room, but Fiona is quick to follow, Paige running away, Fiona following. Paige slides into the ring as does Fiona, but she gets caught as she gets to her feet and gets driven right into the mat by Paige with a devastating SPINE BUSTER!!!}
Terri Morasco: Paige getting hold of this match with that one move.
Vasco Dias: She’s had her where she’s wanted her all along.
{Paige hooks the leg but somehow Fiona gets her shoulder off the mat at two and a half! Paige looks down at Fiona with some disdain. She grabs hold of Fiona and pulls her between her legs looking for a Piledriver, but Fiona flips her over with a Back Body Drop!}
Terri Morasco: Fiona escapes!
Vasco Dias: Paige grasping at her back.
{The referee tends to Paige who is complaining of an injury as Sara jumps up on the apron, distracting Fiona. The referee sees it and springs to his feet, pointing at Sara and EJECTING HER FROM THE MATCH!!!}
Vasco Dias: WHAT!?!?
Terri Morasco: Sara has just been ejected from this match!
{Sara starts kicking at the bottom rope before jumping down as Fiona smiles and waves her on. Before Fiona can turn around though, Paige bounces off the ropes and hits Fiona in the back of the head with a “Keep Dreaming” Bicycle Kick!}
Vasco Dias: KEEP DREAMING!
Terri Morasco: Damn it! The distraction comes back to bite Fiona.
Vasco Dias: I’m pretty sure that was Paige’s foot.
{Fiona is out on the mat as Paige pulls her to her feet and up on her shoulders, walking to the center of the ring and facing the camera with a huge smile on her face before dropping Fiona with the “All About Me” (Rack Attack)!!
Paige floats over for the cover…
1!
2!!
3!!!
The bell rings as Paige floats off the cover, landing on her knees with her index finger in the air.}
Alison Valance: Here is your winner….and STILL IWF SHIELDMAIDEN...PAAAAAIGE GARCIAAAAAA!!!
{Sara comes back to the ring, raising her sister’s hand in victory, the Shieldmaiden Title high overhead.}
Terri Morasco: Fiona put up a fight, but in the end, the number game was too much.
Vasco Dias: Paige was too much and the reign goes on!
{The scene fades on Paige holding the title high in the air with a huge smile on her face.}
The winner of this match will be crowned the Heir to the Throne 2016 and face Jayson Matthews for the Imperial Championship the following night at Legacy.
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall -- and the crown of Heir to the Throne 2016 winner is up for grabs! And the winner of this contest will also move on to face Jayson Matthews at Legacy for the Imperial championship. Introducing first, hailing from Montgomery, Alabama and weighing in at two hundred and five pounds. He is Dre Cutler!
{"Die This Way" by Hopsin hits the speaker system. The crowd buzzes in anticipation as the bass from the song rattles through their chests. The curtain brushes aside and Dre Cutler hops onto the stage, squatting down with his elbows on his thighs as he examines the crowd, a smile on his face. He stands up, head bobbing to the music, and kisses index and middle fingers and points them to the heavens above. He bounces towards the ring and slides under the bottom rope. He makes his way to a neutral corner and does some quick stretches as he waits for the match to start.}
Alison Valance: And introducing his opponent, hailing from Hartford, Connecticut and weighing in at two hundred and twenty pounds. He is Cable Arcane!
{The lights in the arena dim and strobe red as "Looking down the barrel of Today" by Hatebreed begins to play through out the arena. The crowd gets to their feet and boo as Cable Arcane slowly struts out from behind the curtain, his head bowed and bobbing along with the music. He steps in the middle of the stage then throws his arms out and his head up as the song kicks into high gear, bright white lights lighting up behind him practically blinding everyone watching. The lights dim again and strobe red with the music as Cable Arcane begins to make his way to the ring, strutting down the ramp before hopping up onto the apron, pulling himself up and flying between the ropes. He stops in the middle of the ring and throws his arms out again soaking in the hate of the crowd as his music begins to fade. }
Terri Morasco: Listen to these fans, Vasco! It's clear whom they are behind in this one.
Vasco Dias: Fools! All of them!
{The bell rings. The crowd has united and is alternating shouts at the top of their lungs, first is "Let's Go Dre!" and it's followed by "Cable Sucks!" Arcane briefly looks at the audience, a slight smirk on his face. Dre nods his head and looks around the audience, smiling ear to ear. Big mistake, as Cable rushes forward and drops Dre with a Shoulder Block. Cutler stumbles back to his feet immediately only to have his insides rearranged with a kick to the midsection. Cable hits the ropes, jumps high into the air, and nearly decapitates Dre with a vicious and nasty looking Superman Punch. Dre hits the mat like a sack of potatoes and Cable pops up, spinning in a circle and extending his arms out as the crowd fills the air with deafening boos.}
Terri Morasco: Perhaps Dre found himself too fixated on the crowd response and Cable took advantage of it.
Vasco Dias: That's an understatement! I think Dre's out cold!
{Arcane chuckles at the response from the fans prior to reaching down and pulling a limp Cutler to a vertical base. He lets go of Dre, who nearly falls back to the mat but stays on his feet as he stumbles backwards into the corner. Cable moves in, slow and calculated, and tees off with enormous blows to the gut -- left, right, left, right. As soon as Dre tries to double over and protect himself, Cable attempts to take his head off once again, this time with a deadly uppercut. Cutler looks out in the corner, only on his feet because his arms are draped over the ropes. Cable laughs arrogantly before grabbing Dre and sending him into the opposite corner. Dre hits with a thud and Cable follows closely behing, leaping high for a Clothesline, BUT NO! Dre drops to his knee and rolls out of the way. Cable crashes hard into the corner.}
Terri Morasco: A sign of life from Cutler! This may be the opening he needs.
{The crowd explodes as Cutler grabs the ropes and pulls himself up. His eyes looks glossy and he's on wobbly legs but he's up and ready to bring the fight to Cable. Arcane stumbles out of the corner while checking his nose for blood. Dre moves in and looks to connect with a wild punch of his own but Arcane blocks it, grabs hold of his head, and drops down with a Jawbreaker. The air is taken right out of the arena as the audience feels depleted as Arcane is seemingly back in control of this contest.}
Terri Morasco: Or maybe not.
Vasco Dias: Cable is too good, Terri, he's just too good for Dre, and he's in the process of proving just how great he is!
{Cable looks a little irritated, perhaps upset Dre dodged his earlier maneuver. He bends and yanks hard on Dre's head as he forces him to his feet. He violently whips Cutler into the corner and this time he connects with his flying Clothesline. Dre starts to drop to a knee, but Arcane quickly snatches him up and shoves him back in the corner. He sends him across the ring into the opposite corner. He follows right behind and leaps at his opponent, catching him with a beautiful Running Knee; and he quickly grabs Dre's head and explodes out of the corner with a Running Bulldog. Cable looks immensely satisfied with himself as he nonchalantly goes for the pin: 1.................2..........KICK OUT! The crowd explodes as Cable moves to his knees and stares daggers at the referee.}
Terri Morasco: Dre's taking a beating thus far but it's going to take a lot more than that to keep him down!
{The crowd starts a "Dre! Dre! Dre" chant to try to get behind him and help him find his way in this match. The chant only seems to irritate Arcane more as he climbs to his feet and pulls Dre up as well. He tosses Dre into the corner like a rag doll and moves in, grabbing hold of Cutler's head and continuously banging his own against it with nasty headbutts! The referee tries to pull him away to stop the assault but Cable is relentless. Headbutt after headbutt after headbutt and Dre is helpless. The referee starts his count, reaching 4.999999 before Cable releases his death grip on Cutler's neck and steps out of the corner. AND oh God, Dre is busted open and bleeding profusely as he slides down the corner and takes a seat against the turnbuckle. Arcane rumbles to the center of the ring and smiles at the crowd, who once again boo him as loudly as they can. He smacks the side of his head a few times, pumped up at the violence he's delivering. He looks at his hand, which now has some of Dre's blood on it. He chuckles before smearing it on his chest, like a badge of honor.}
Terri Morasco: This guy, he's sick and demented! He nearly crushed Dre's skull and he's proud of himself.
Vasco Dias: Dre knew he was stepping into the ring with a very dangerous man, hopefully he'll have learned his lesson.
{The referee is checking on Dre, trying to get a response out of him as the blood flows. Arcane moves in and shoves the referee out of the way. He proceeds to reach down and force Dre back to his feet. Cutler drops to a knee as Cable tries to move him to the center of the ring. Cable yanks him back up and continues his trek. He releases his hold on Dre, who's wobbly and unbalanced. Arcane lets out a wild yell before looking to nail him with a Spinning Heel Kick -- BUT NO! Dre ducks beneath it and Cable spins around following the whiff -- and right into the waiting arms of Cutler! Dre sends him overhead with a Belly-to-Belly Suplex; and Cable lands awkwardly on his head and neck as the move sent him flying helplessly into the turnbuckle. Dre's down in the center, eyes closed and blood dripping and Cable looks wrangled in the corner, and the crowd is losing their shit.}
Terri Morasco: OH! Cable looked like he was going for the MTS, but Dre caught him with a huge move and now he's got a second to regroup.
Vasco Dias: No! That's bull, get to your feet Cable, you got a match to win!
{Cable grabs the ropes and begins the process of getting to his feet. Dre's still down in the center as Arcane stumbles towards him, clutching the back of his neck. Arcane looks pissed off as he reaches down and begins pulling Dre up, but Cutler snaps to and quickly surprises with a roll up: 1..............2.....KICK OUT! Cable rolls into the corner and looks horrified, realizing it was almost over. He's back up and yet again looks to pull Dre to his feet, but Cutler catches him with some quick shots to the midsection. Arcane releases his grip and Dre bounces up and drops Arcane directly on his head with a DDT! Cutler crawls to the ropes and pulls himself to his feet, the crowd getting behind him in a huge way. He leans against the ropes, wiping blood away from his eyes. He gingerly exits to the apron and slowly scales to the top, looking to fly as the crowd cheers him on. He steadies himself at the top, and flies gracefully, looking for his Front-Flip Legdrop -- BUT NO! Arcane rolls out of the way, but Dre adjusts and continues the flip, allowing him to land on his feet! Arcane rolls onto his knees, checking his head for blood before pointing to his temple with a smile, thinking he's outsmarted Cutler, not realizing Dre landed on his feet.}
Vasco Dias: Turn around Cable! Ahhhh!
{Dre charges forward and destroys Cable with a Dropkick to the back of the head. It folds Arcane forward and he rolls to the ropes, looking to exit to the outside to catch his bearings but Cutler grabs his foot and pulls him back into the ring. He pulls Arcane to his feet, but Cable shoves him away and looks for a wild right hand, but Dre ducks underneath it and catches Arcane with a Jawbreaker of his own!}
Terri Morasco: You know what they say, what comes around, goes around.
{The crowd is going absolutely bananas as Dre stumbles to his feet and pulls Arcane up as well. He sends Cable into the corner with an Irish Whip and follows closely behind him, catching Cable with a huge Clothesline. He lifts Cable onto the top turnbuckle and begins to scale the corner as well! The crowd buzzes in anticipation as Cutler rises up -- and flips Arcane off the top rope with a Hurricanranna! The crowd's imploring for Dre to go for the pin but he has other plans as he crawls towards the ropes. He exits yet again to the apron and begins the ascent to the top.}
Terri Morasco: What's Dre have planned here, Vasco? He's going high risk once again.
Vasco Dias: I don't know, but why don't you go over there and push him off?
{He reaches the top rope and steadies himself as he looks down at the fallen Cable Arcane. He wipes fresh blood away from his eyes before leaping off -- OMG, he gets massive air!!! And connects with a massive SPIRAL TAP! HE HITS THE CROWN ME! GO FOR THE COVER, DRE! He does, and HOOKS THE LEG: 1.................2..................KICK OUT!!!!!}
Terri Morasco: IT'S OVE-- NO! Cable Arcane kicks out, Dre can't believe it! The fans can't believe it! I can't believe it!
Vasco Dias: I knew he'd kick out!
{The crowd is devastated, as is Dre, who's on his knees with his hands on his head. Dre smacks the mat in frustration before getting to his feet. He lifts the limp body of Cable up as well. He connects with a couple of quick jabs before attempting to send Arcane into the ropes, but Cable reverses it! Dre hits the ropes and comes back, and gets kicked right in the stomach by Arcane. Cable quickly yanks him up and breaks his back with a gnarly looking Double-Underhook Backbreaker! Cutler is crumbled, down and out, but Arcane is unable to go for the immediate pin as he's on his back trying to catch his breath.}
Vasco Dias: It's over! Now it's over! Go for the pin, Cable!
{Arcane crawls over and does his best to hook the leg: 1................2...............KICK OUT!!! And there goes the roof of the arena as the fucking crowd loses their shit. Cable's too exhausted to be animatedly upset, instead he just rolls over onto his back and clutches his head.}
Terri Morasco: I swear I thought that was three, but Dre says not today as he gets the shoulder up!
Vasco Dias: I'm starting to think this referee isn't sure what comes after two!
{Arcane rolls to the ropes and grabs hold of them, pulling hard as he uses them to get up. He stumbles towards the middle, where Dre has rolled over onto his stomach and is in the process of rising to his feet. He helps Cutler the rest of the way and nails him with a couple of stiff right hands, and a left to finish it off! Cutler's pressed against the ropes and Cable grabs him and sends him across the ring. Dre comes back and Cable tries to latch onto him, but Cutler slides between his legs! Dre manages to swiftly make it to the apron and rises to his feet as the adrenaline is pumping. The crowd's cheering as Cable slowly turns around to find him, and Cutler jumps onto the top rope and Springboards off, looking for DRE SAYS HEY! NO! Cable spins and destroys Cutler with a Spinning Heel Kick while in-flight. Cutler hits the apron and Cable quickly snatches him up. A vertical suplex, into a nasty double-knee Backbreaker -- the MTS, MADE TO SUFFER!}
Vasco Dias: Yesssss!
{Cable drops into a pin: 1.....................2.....................3!!!}
Terri Morasco: Arcane's done it! He's the Heir to the Throne 2016 winner and will face Jayson Matthews for the title tomorrow night!
Vasco Dias: Damn right! He deserves it more than anyone else.
Terri Morasco: But golly, what a match put on by these two guys! They truly left it all in the ring.
