SEGMENT”Diamonds Championship Coronation”----------------------------------------------------------
{The fireworks go off at the top of the stage and the camera pans around to the fans and the numerous signs brought to the event. As we widen out, Terri Morasco welcomes us to the show.}Terri Morasco: Ladies and gentlemen, WELCOME to SACRIFICE!
{The camera turns to the ring outfitted with red carpet and a podium in the center of the ring with the Diamond Championship on top of it.}Terri Morasco: We have a hell of a night for you, and…
Vasco Dias: AND a Diamonds Championship Coronation that starts RIGHT NOW!
{“Over You” by Girlicious plays over the speakers as the Garcia Twins head down the ramp to a negative reaction. They simply smile and continue with their normal entrance down to the ring.}Terri Morasco: It was a Diamonds Are Forever that Paige Garcia went out and achieved her dream of becoming the Diamonds Champion.
Vasco Dias: Yes it was, and she possibly capped off one of the best rookie years of the IWF ever becoming the longest reigning Shieldmaiden and then ending the year as Diamonds Champion.
{The sisters get to the center of the ring, Paige stopping to stare at her championship as Sara walks over and grabs a microphone.}Sara Garcia: Thank you! Thank you! Such a lovely, wonderful reaction.
{The crowd boos. Sara scowls before putting that smile right back on her face.}Sara Garcia: Alright, alright, let’s get to the real reason we’re here. Something happened at Diamonds Are Forever.
{A huge smile lights up Paige’s face.}Sara Garcia: The new era of Diamonds wrestling was ushered in at the expense of the legacy of old.
{Sara points to the Imperatron Screen.}{We come back to the two in the ring as the two again have gigantic smiles on their face.}Sara Garcia: As you saw, my loving, caring sister, has vanquished the nostalgia that is Jessica Reed. She showed every little girl in the world that as long as she works hard for her dreams, they can achieve them!
{She points into the crowd.}Sara Garcia: So while each and every one of you boos us, you know in the back of your heads that we inspire your daughters, your granddaughters, and the other female members of your family to do great things.
{The crowd boos some more.}Sara Garcia: We know you appreciate us and all of this booing is just for show, so without further adieu, here is YOUR UNDISPUTED...IWF...DIAMONDS CHAMPION...PAAAAAAAAAAAIGE GARCIA!
{Paige grabs hold of the championship and holds it high overhead as the boos rain down. She blows some kisses before sliding the championship over her shoulder and taking the microphone from her sister.}Paige Garcia: Thank you! I love each and every one of you.
{The boos get louder and she sneers at the crowd.}Paige Garcia: Okay, you caught me...I don’t give a damn about any single one of you!
{The rafters might be shaking due to the negative reaction.}Paige Garcia: Each and every one of you thought I didn’t have it in me. You thought there was no way I could beat the Goddess that you worship, Jessica Reed.
{She raises the title above her head.}Paige Garcia: And here I stand, the UNDISPUTED queen of the division.
{The fans boo as she goes from one side of the ring to the other, showing her title off, yelling at her doubters before returning to the center of the ring.}Paige Garcia: And I prove to the world that I had no competition as the Shieldmaiden and THIS reign will be no damn different. I told you all the future was coming...the future...is...NOW!
{She stretches her arms out and looks to the sky, but as she does so, both her and her sister are showered in some sort of green liquid. The two are in shock as the final drips fall upon them as “I’m Shipping Up To Boston” begins to play on the speakers and out to the top of the stage strolls Fiona McFly.}Fiona McFly: Oh my...?! Darling...my sweet little lovely darling, did you have a little accident?
{The Garcias are seething in the ring as Fiona can’t help but laugh.}Fiona McFly: I told you that you’d be seeing me in 2017 Paige, and here I am. You said I wouldn't amount to anything, 'cos in your small mind, ya had no competition. Well newsflash “slimeball” here I am.
{The crowd cheers, Fiona grinning from ear to ear as she wags her right index finger.}Fiona McFly: Ya see, I didn't spend a good chunk of my life in Switzerland just so I can take in the scenic view of where they filmed "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." I've been busy preparing myself for the New Year, working harder than I've ever worked before...whilst learning some new tricks. And THAT, lovelies, was just the first of quite a few surprises I've got in store for you.
{The Northern Irish Woman gives a slight wink to the crowd.}Fiona McFly: Anyhoo....congrats on your little title win, now it’s my turn. Cheers!
{With that, “I’m Shipping Up to Boston” begins to play again as Fiona motions at her waist as the Garcias stare through the green liquid that has rained down on their celebration.}Terri Morasco: Looks like Fiona is setting her eyes on the Diamonds Championship!
Vasco Dias: And it looks like she just ruined this great celebration and the lovely outfits of the Garcia Twins. I guarantee you she pays for this!
{We go to commercial with the Garcias yelling up at Fiona.}----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCHDorian Hawkhurst vs Mac Bane
----------------------------------------------------------
{ The arena is filled with a quiet ticking noise. As it gets faster, it turns into an electronic whirling noise. Finally the guitar kicks in and Dorian Hawkhurst walks out from the back. He looks around at the audience while the weight of the lyrics hits him. }Alison Valance: Making his way to the ring, from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania... “The Demon of Sobriety”... DORIAN HAWKHURST!!!
{ Hawkhurst begins walking down to the ring, slapping a few hands along the way despite not taking his eyes off of the ring. He gets to the apron and slides in, making his way to the corner, awaiting the start of the match. }Terri Morasco: We're gonna have two powerhouses in our opening matchup...
Vasco Dias: ...as well as IWF's freshest fish. But don't worry...
{ Vasco pulls out a bag of marshmallows and a bottle of green tea. }Vasco Dias: ...I came prepared. Hehehe...
Terri Morasco: Don't start! It's early--don't start!
{ The arena goes dark and the intro for "Cut the Cord" begins...
The big man steps out onto the stage as the lites come up slowly and then as the chorus hits the lights flash to full intensity.
"CUT THE CORD!"
Mac Bane appears at the top of the ramp leading to the ring, he smiles as he edges the front brim of his stetson back a bit revealing the smile that radiates on his face. As the music continues he strips out of the long black duster leaving it on the ramp as he walks purposefully towards the ring. He stops by the steps leading up to the ring apron and flips the hat out into the crowd and runs up the steps. He steps between the second and top rope and makes his way to the center of the ring where the announcer finishes introducing him to a crowd that knows him all too well. They applaud as he acknolwedges them with the wave of a hand or a nod of his head. }[DING!]
{ The man in stripes calls for the bell as the two combatants, with a total combined weight of 457 and both near the 300-pound mark, lock up in the center of the ring. Neither gentlemen is able to jockey for position and get the opening shot in; eventually, Mac backs Dorian up into the corner, prompting the zebra-dude to call for the clean break. Bane does as he's told, backing away before locking up again; Hawkhurst backs his opponent up into the corner, causing the ref to call for the break again--to which Dorian complies. Stepping back to survey the scene, Hawkhurst charges forward, nailing Mac with a shoulder block and a second before picking up his opponent and sending him for the ride; Bane bounces off the ropes, taking a big boot to the schnozz for his troubles! Eventually, Hawkhurst performs a cross-body from the second buckle on Mac, covering him in the process. }1...!
2...!!
NOPE!!!
{ Hawkhurst shakes his head as he chucks Mac to the outside, where the Texas Gulf Coast native hits the floor hard. The zebrashirt starts a ten-count as we see both men on the arena floor, trading punches! }Referee: ONE...TWO...!!
{ But any momentum that Dorian Hawkhurst had early on would end up short-lived as Mac Bane sends him crashing headlong into the safety fence! }Referee: THREE...FOUR...!!
{ Bane, conscious of the ref's count, grabs Hawkhurst by the scruff of his neck and dumps him unceremoniously back into the ring, where he takes control of the match by stomping away on the left arm and hand as Dorian tries to pull himself back together. Mac helps him up the rest of the way...only to send him reeling toward the ropes with brawling-style, right and left open-handed punches before shooting him into the opposite side; Dorian bounds off the strands before being plastered to the deck with a hard, high, arcing powerslam. Mac lets out a fierce battle cry before pulling his opponent back to his feet and dragging him towards the corner, then leading him out and planting him face-first with a bulldog, turning him over to go for the pinfall. }1...!
2...!!
KICKOUT!!!
{ Mac grits his teeth as he stands over Hawkhurst, urging him to get up and keep trekking onward; Dorian fires off a left to the ribs, followed by a second and a third before making it back to his feet! Bane is sent towards the corner as Dorian pursues, firing shot after shot to the temples before lifting him up high in the air, bouncing him off the top rope, and SLAMMING him to the canvas with his trademark Slingshot Powerbomb! }Terri Morasco: Yipes--what a move!
Vasco Dias: Ohhhhh...I got a hard-on from that one.
Terri Morasco: Don't tease me, Vasco...
Vasco Dias: Pffffft...
{ Hawkhurst goes for the cover, sensing that the end is near... }1...!
2...!!
NO, SIR!!!
{ Hawkhurst stands up, saying to the zebra "aww c'mon, man!" as he calmly holds up two fingers! He continues pleading his case to the man in stripes as Bane slowly manages to prop himself back to a vertical base, using the ropes as a guide to do so. The argument becomes slightly tense as Dorian continues to insist he got the three...but it's Mac who gets the last word in when he sneaks up behind an unsuspecting Philadelphia native and applies his trademark Codebreaker he dubs "Toothless in Tulsa!" }Vasco Dias: Oh dear...
Terri Morasco: Hawkhurst didn't do his homework!
Vasco Dias: And now he gets a date in detention!
Terri Morasco: Gimme a break...
{ Mac goes for the cover... }1...!
2...!!
THREEEEEEEEAWWWWWWW...!!!
{ The crowd cheers for both men at this point as, now, it's Mac Bane who wants to have a l'il chat with the dude in zebra stripes, shouting "I gotta HAVE this, bub..." as the ref holds up the dreaded two fingers! But Mac doesn't waste any more time and proceeds to go for the kill...and he does so, applying the dreaded Iron Claw! But Mac decides to get a little creative, lifting up Hawkhurst before PLANTING him to the deck with a unique chokeslam variant he calls the "OLD SCHOOL!" Dorian Hawkhurst is laid out, spread-eagle on the canvas as Mac goes for the pin! }
1...!
2...!!
THREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
[DING-DING-DING!!!]
----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT”The Return”----------------------------------------------------------
{Parkway Drive's "wild eyes" hits as the crowd starts to chant along to the song, they then cheer and boo in a mixture as Amber Richards appears on stage. Her upper body covered in a black Harley and Joker shirt and a black leather biker jacket. Her long hair left down over a pair of black sunglasses. She makes her way down to the ring as white strobe lights flash in time to the music. Amber stops at the steps before smiling at the crowd, she runs up and across the apron before stepping into the ring grabbing a mic}Vasco Dias: It's been a while since we saw the 3 time Diamonds champion....
Terri Morasco: One of only three women to do it...
Vasco Dias: Amber made her return a few weeks back when she gave Jessica reed her award....but has she returned?
Amber Richards: I was feeling a little nervous about this. It's been a little while hasn't it?. See a few months ago I returened with a certain someone as my tag team partner. A woman who many thought I wouldn't be able to co-exist with. And people were right...I couldn't....
{Amber smiled and shrugged before stepping across the ring}Amber Richards: She wanted to "clean up" the diamonds division, to cleanse it and bring it back to the "glory days" but the truth is that the glory days never went away....they just laid dormant waiting to be brought back by one person...me...
{She pauses again and laughs leaning back against the turnbuckle.}Amber Richards: I was one of the rulers of this division when it was at it's best. But now what do we have?. We have a Garcia holding the Diamonds championship, we have Jess Reed back after a "shocking" return and we have Eternity still running around...but what this place needs...is someone like me.....what this place needs is Amber FUCKING Richards....and that IWF Diamonds championship...is coming home...
{Amber throws the mic down as "wild eyes" hits again. Amber slides from the ring talking trash all the way back up the ramp}----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCHPandora Freeman vs Kate Steele
----------------------------------------------------------
"We all Recognise...That I'm ..the problem here."
{The lights dim, Even as the Intro to the song helps to light up UV, glowsticks, people waving and bouncing before the beat drops and out slams Pandora, lit up like a christmas tree by UV, as lit slowly bleed back to the area Pandora dances down to the ring, easily gracing movements as she hops up the apron and climbs in before gripping the top rope and arching back down to touch the ring mat with her head and leaves her feet on the ground making quite the arch as she rises up slowly still bouncing to the music as she encoruages the crowd to move with her.}Vasco Dias: Pandora is one of the newer Diamonds on the roster but her attitude has won a lot of fans over
Terri Morasco: Look at the glowsticks here…
{Monster by Paramore begins to blare all across the sound system and as it does Kate Steele along with her husband Todd Warren begins to emerge from the back curtain. Kate has a huge smile on her face as she stares at the roaring crowd who are all cheering her on. She begins to sprint down the aisle as she claps the hands of outstretched fans.
Kate finally makes it to the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd cheering her on. She closes her eyes placing a single finger over her lips offering the Shhhh sound which all the fans follow in. She takes her place in the corner afterwards waiting for the match to begin}Vasco Dias: Kate steele also being cheered by the fans here
Terri Morasco: These girls have their fans and their detractors but the IWF universe seems to embrace them more than not
{The bell rings and they lock up, Pandora ducks under for a go behind, she picks Kate up slamming her face first with a waistlock. Kate tries to get up. Pandora slides around to the front and locks in a front facelock. Kate pushes up to her feet and she picks Pandora up and over with a northern lights suplex. She bridges 1….2..Pandora lets go of the facelock and kicks out getting to her feet. Pandora ducks down and rolls Kate up in a school girl 1….2..Kate kicks out and both ladies get to their feet.

Terri Morasco: They’re equal right now after that early exchange
{The ladies stare down and lock up, this time Pandora pulls Kate forward into a nhard knee to the stomach sending Kate onto her knee’s Pandora starts laying in hard kicks to kate’s chest, over and over stiff shots echo through the arena. After about five Pandora steps back and goes for the head, Kate though ducks and pops from her knee’s to her feet rob van dam style before leaping in the air with a spinning heel kick connecting with pandora’s face.}Vasco Dias: Oh wow what a shot from Kate
Terri Morasco: But those stiff roundhouse kicks could of broken a rib
{Kate pulls Pandora up and picks her up for a brainbuster, she then rolls under the bottom rope and leaps up and off with a springboard leg drop, she pins pandora 1….2...Pandora kicks out. Kate wastes no time pulling Pandora up hitting some fast kicks to the thigh then to the midsection of Pandora, Pandora though swings at Kate who ducks runs through and then hits a pele kick connecting with Pandora’s head, she pins again 1….2...Pandora kicks out and Kate looks frustrated}Vasco Dias: Pandora has taken a few hard shots to the head but she refuses to let Kate win here...
Terri Morasco:Kate looks so angry

Terri Morasco: Why is she back out here?
{Kate turns around and Amber picks her up on her shoulders before throwing Kate up and bringing her down face first on her knee with the GTS she calls the Bloody Murder V3.0! Kate is down and looks unconscious. Amber stands above her with a sinister grin, she throws her hands in the air as boo’s reign down upon her}Terri Morasco: Well that was a statement….
Vasco Dias: No kidding….wow….Pandora and Kate had an amazing match and thehn Amber turns up to knock kate out cold…

SEGMENT”This Is How You Do It.”----------------------------------------------------------
{We cut back to back stage just outside the gorilla entrance to go out to the ring. JFK and the Redneck Renegades are all standing in a circle. The 3 of them do a 3 way too sweet and the brothers head out to the ring as their music hits the speakers. The camera switches to be just in front of JFK.}JFK: Give em hell boys.
{JFK turns around only to bump square into the chest of a mountain of a man in a suit. JFK sighs and slowly tilts his head upwards to look at this monster square in the eye, he gives a sly devilish grin before shrugging his shoulders and goes to throw a punch, the man clubs JFK down with a tree-trunk of an arm before he can even swing.
He then proceeds to grab JFK by the scruff of his neck and his belt and tosses him down the hall way, as JFK stumbles to get himself upright he's cracked right in the side of the jaw with a superkick from Noah Field.
Noah stands over the fallen JFK.}Noah Field: THAT is how you do a superkick. I learned that from the best. Now learn your lesson and go away before you embarrass yourself too much, because you can't beat me...no one can. I'm out of your league, old man!
{Noah slaps the big man on the chest and smirks.}Noah Field: Come on Frankie, Mark is around here somewhere...

TAG TEAM MATCHEl Grande Malo & Zasshu vs The Redneck Renegades
----------------------------------------------------------
{"DJ Khaled! All I do is win win win no matter what" All I do is Win by DJ Khaled featuring T-Pain, Ludacris, Rick Ross and Snoop Dog comes on over the P.A. system as the lights dim and the Redneck Renegades logo shows on the tron, "Got money on my mind can never get a enough" Will comes storming out doing a somewhat two step as he goes to the edge of the stage waving his hands up in the air dancing around flashing his grill at the fans, Chris comes out more controlled and posed, he stands at the center of the entrance way with a towel in is hand, they are wearing matching baggy shorts with the confederate flag pattern on them and black knee pads, will has on more traditional style wrestling boot's while Chris has kick pad's covering his with matching confederate flag pattern on them. Both of them wearing the KIWA World Tag Team belts proudly.
"Hailing from Atlanta Georgia weighting in tonight at a combined weight of four hundred and five pounds, Your K.I.W.A World Tag Team Champions, Will and Chris Fenell, The Redneck Reeeeeeeeeenegades!"
With that announcement red white and blue pyro go shooting off up from the stage towards the ring into the sky Chris cracks his neck as he makes his way down the ramp slowly, Will follows dancing behind him slapping hands with fans here and there, sometimes faking that he's going to slap a hand then moves his head to fix his "hair" then just grins and slaps the hands. Chris climbs the stairs to the ring as Will slides in, Chris wipes the top of his head with his towel as Will goes to the far turnbuckle and stands on the 2nd rope looking around to the crowd he's waving his hands up and down trying to get the crowd hyped up into the song. "And every time I step up in the building Everybody hands go UP" Both Chris and Will toss their hands up in the air with their RR Rally Towels in hand swinging them around their head, "And they stay there, and they stay there And they stay there" The start waving the towels up and down "up down up down up down Cause all I do is WIN, WIN, WIN And if you goin in put yo' hands in the air, make 'em stay there!" Will drops down to the ring as Chris tosses his towel into the crowd, Will bends low sitting like a catcher behind home plate but with his arms resting on his legs as Chris paces back and forth in front of him both of them with their game face's on.}Terri Morasco: The Redneck Renegades are here! Will and Chris Fenell!
Vasco Dias: One of the last true tag teams left in professional wrestling. If it wasn’t for one of the men on the other side of the ring from them I’d say they have this in the bag.
Terri Morasco: What are you saying?
Vasco Dias: I’m saying Zasshu is entering this match with a purpose and as a member of the House of Howlett-
Terri Morasco: Some would say the weak link in the House of Howlett.
Vasco Dias: AS A MEMBER of the House this match was his to win before he ever entered the ring.
Terri Morasco: Think what you want but the Renegades have held tag team gold all over the world where as Malo and Zasshu are stepping into the ring together for the first time ever.
{ The house lights dim slightly as the words ‘OLÉ’ appear on the screen. The fans begin chanting along with the music as El Grandé Malo bursts out from behind the curtain. He stomps his way out to the center of the stage, bouncing up and down in time with the music. He hops up and down pointing into the air and quickly begins jogging down toward the ring, slapping the outstretched hands along the way, before sliding into the ring and heading for the nearest corner. He scales the turnbuckles and continues to hype up the chanting crowd before dropping down and pulling on the nearby top rope, stretching while waiting for the match to begin. }{ The arena lights dim to a low hue as a golden spot light shines on the stage, the opening to Trivium's "Villainy Thrives" begins to play as the golden light strobes to the piano. Once the song kicks into gear Zasshu comes exploding out from the stage with a burst of pyro and to boos from the crowd. He lands in a crouched position and looks all around before standing up and holding his fists up over his head. Laura Howlett marches out from the back and walks beside Zasshu as they head toward the ring. Zasshu sprints ahead of her and springs off a trampoline over the top rope and front flipping before landing on his feet. From there he runs to the ropes and leaps onto the second rope in the corner and holds his fists up again over his head as Laura Howlett claps from the outside. }Vasco Dias: One of these men is the future of our industry and the other one? Well… Look at him.
Terri Morasco: Champions come in many shapes and sizes.
Vasco Dias: Just not in Malo’s size.
Terri Morasco: He’s bigger than Zasshu.
Vasco Dias: And yet somehow he still looks like a homeless man stole a mask out of a trash can behind a Halloween store.
Terri Morasco: You’re unbearable.
{ Will and Chris are discussing strategy as Malo looks to Zasshu to see if he wishes to talk however Zasshu chooses to step out onto the apron. }Vasco Dias: Look, they’re working together already.
Terri Morasco: Zasshu looks disgusted.
Vasco Dias: Exactly, he’s going to let the Renegades tire themselves out beating on Malo before coming in to make the save and take the win.
Terri Morasco: Of course you’re ignoring the very real possibility that the Renegades dominate this match like they’ve dominated tag team division the world over and win this match.
Vasco Dias: Yeah, I don’t see that happening.
{ Will is starting things off for his team as the referee calls for the bell. Both men move out of their corners but Will moves in quick for a tie up and pushes Malo into a vacant corner. Malo lets go and Will backs off. Malo comes exploding out of the corner but Will catches him with a drop toe hold and quickly moves over his back and locks him into a cross face. }Terri Morasco: Will Fenell showcasing his technical ability.
Vasco Dias: He suckered that masked idiot in.
{ Malo is fighting his way and eventually gets his finger tips on the ropes. Will lets him go and pulls Malo up with him looking for a deep arm drag but Malo manages to land on his feet and instead goes for an enzugiri that Will ducks. Malo turns around and right into an arm drag take down but Malo rolls through it and lands on his feet, he grabs the ropes and spring boards off and right into an Atomic Drop by Will Fenell! }Terri Morasco: What a counter by Will Fenell!
Vasco Dias: Malo is playing to his strengths here, which is also playing to the plan of Laura and Zasshu, tire them out before Zasshu bats clean up.
Terri Morasco: You have a lot of faith in Zasshu.
Vasco Dias: You’d be stupid not to.
Terri Morasco: Well if the opening minutes of this match are anything to judge by I’d say the Renegades have this match in the bag.
{ Will stalks Malo now who is having a hard time getting up. Eventually he does and Will comes in and spins him around into a vicious looking back breaker that sends Malo rolling to his partners corner but Zasshu refuses to reach for a tag. }Vasco Dias: The plan at work.
Terri Morasco: I think that’s a mistake on the part of Zasshu.
{ Will looks to Chris and tags him in as Malo tries to pull himself up. Chris comes roaring into the ringand hits the ropes with a spring board and catches Malo with a big time drop kick that sends him heads over heels! Chris leaps to his feet and looks Zasshu dead in the eyes before turning his attention to Malo and running at him full steam before catching him with a Japanese arm drag! }Vasco Dias: Malo looks like a rag doll out there!
Terri Morasco: Well it doesn’t help his partner is refusing to tag in.
Vasco Dias: He’s waiting for the right time.
{ Chris is looking confident now as he comes at Malo who manages to get to his feet and catch Chris with a leg lariat! Malo tries to pull himself up again and re energize himself as Chris gets back to his feet. Chris turns into a surprise super kick by Malo who then connects with two hard knee strikes before dropping Chris with a double underhook ddt! Malo covers Chris for the one, two and Will breaks it up. }Terri Morasco: The Redneck Renegades are working like a well oiled machine.
Vasco Dias: Is that what you call Malo getting the better of Chris Fenell?
Terri Morasco: You may not like Malo but you can’t deny his ability in that ring.
Vasco Dias: Yes I can and yes I did.
{ Will backs off into his corner as Malo turns his attention back to Chris who he scoops up and looks to lift into an exploder suplex directed into the corner of the ring but Chris blocks it and pushes him off and hits a big step up enzugiri! Malo falls back and Chris grabs him for a fisherman back breaker! Chris heads to the corner of the ring, climbs up to the top rope and looks to leap off but Zasshu makes his presence known for the first time when he rips the left leg out from under Chris and he goes tumbling back first back into the ring. }Vasco Dias: And did you see that!?
Terri Morasco: Zasshu finally coming to the aid of his partner.
Vasco Dias: More like looking out for himself.
Terri Morasco: I was being sarcastic.
{ Chris is down for the moment as Malo looks to his corner of the ring where Zasshu now stands with an out stretched hand. Malo pushes himself up and leaps to Zasshu who he tags into the ring. Zasshu leaps over the top rope and charges Chris with a pump kick to the mid section that sends Chris back into a neutral corner. Zasshu then connects with several shin kicks to the chest and mid section of Chris Fenell in the corner before grabbing him for a nasty looking monkey flip out of the corner. }Vasco Dias: And that’s what the paying audience has been waiting for.
Terri Morasco: A monkey flip?
Vasco Dias: No! Zasshu entering and dominating this match!
Terri Morasco: Dominating is a stretch…
{ Chris tries to get right up but Zasshu is right there and looks for a running boot to the head but Chris sees it coming and ducks out of the way, forward rolling and tagging in Will who comes running into the ring and nails Zasshu with an Ode to Angel out of nowhere!!! }Terri Morasco: Will Fenell with the Ode to Angle!
{ Will pulls Zasshu up and lifts him into Power bomb position as Chris comes off the ropes with the neck breaker and the double team! Will quickly covers Zasshu as the referee drops down for the count. ONE! TWO! Malo with the save! }Terri Morasco: Malo just saved this match for his team despite Zasshu’s reluctance to help him.
Vasco Dias: At least the kid knows his place.
Terri Morasco: Still, things aren’t looking good for this rag tag team.
{ Will glares over his shoulder at Malo who has found his way back onto the apron. Will points to Chris as he lifts Zasshu up into the 40 oz drop, Chris comes running into the ring and charges Malo who has re entered the ring and catches Chris with an Exploder suplex! Malo pops up and super kicks Will in the back of the head who drops Zasshu. Zasshu quickly retaliates with the Buenos Noches Kick just as Malo hits another super kick! }Vasco Dias: El Grande Noches!!!!
{ Will is down and Zasshu covers as Malo moves to where Chris is and makes sure he doesn’t get up as the referee counts. ONE! TWO! THREE!!! }Vasco Dias: Zasshu picks up the win for his team!
Terri Morasco: In what some may consider an upset as the Redneck Renegades dominated most of this match.
Vasco Dias: The only upset was the man they teamed with Zasshu.
Terri Morasco: They worked surprisingly well despite Zasshu’s reluctance.
{ Zasshu stands tall with Laura coming to his side clapping and smiling. Malo stands by his side and looks to raise his hand and after some hesitation he allows Malo to raise his hand with the referee as Villainy Thrives plays. } ----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT”Never Again”----------------------------------------------------------
{ We cut backstage to where Rob Diamond is standing in the IWF interview area alongside A Girl Has No Name Robins. }A Girl Has No Name Robins: Rob, last time we saw you-
Rob Diamond: Cut the interview lead in bullshit!
{ Rob straight up cuts her off and looks pretty angry. }Rob Diamond: Steve Awesome not only decided to throw away his career by attacking me a couple of weeks ago but he also decided to ruin MY celebration after winning feud of the year! An award I may add was always going to be mine because I am JUST that damn good.
{ A Girl Has No Name just hold the mic though you see her roll her eyes. }Rob Diamond: What happened last week was an atrocity! An absolute abortion of justice! Steve Awesome doesn’t belong on my show! He doesn’t belong in my ring! He doesn’t belong in the same damn sentence as me! Against anyone else Steve Awesome wouldn’t have even been nominated for feud of the year! The only thing he’s done in this company worth remembering is the hell I’ve put him through! A hell some of you have forgotten he deserves! This man you cheer, he’s still the same man that thought he was costing me not one but two championship matches! Back when he though Verona held his contract in his hands he bent over backward playing right into our plans. But you all forget just how much of a piece of shit Steve Awesome is! You see the smile, the abs, you listen to the bullshit he spews and get sucked right in.
{ Rob just shakes his head. }Rob Diamond: I not only exposed Steve Awesome as the self centered piece of shit that he is I beat him at his own game! Verona never held his contract, Verona never pulled the strings! Everything Steve Awesome has done for the last year has been because of me! And now? Now he’s played right into my hands again. His contract is gone. His career is gone. He will never set foot in an IWF ring again. His house, his possessions, his legacy all belong to me! And what happened last week?
{ He laughs now. }Rob Diamond: It’s never going to happen again. If Steve Awesome so much as browses ticket master he’ll find what little he has left ripped from his hands. Hell, maybe I’ll take his damn kid next. Best just to forget he even exists because you’ve seen the last of Steve Awesome.
{ Rob goes to walk away but then stops and looks back at the camera. }Rob Diamond: And if you ain’t down with that then I’ve got two words for ya. Suck it.
{ He laughs again as he walks out of the shot. }----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCHJayson Matthews vs Mike Laszlo
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall…
{The drum beat kicks in. Then the guitar riffs. Jayson Matthews comes stepping out onto the entrance ramp moving his head to the beat and staring out into the crowd with a wide eyed stare of awe at the packed house in attendance. He steps onto the entrance stage and makes sure to hit both sides of the stage to hype the crowd as the lyrics start.}Last call now I'm outta time
And I don't got no valentine
Singled out, now I stand alone
The underdog in a modern world
Suburbia is hot tonight
But nothing seems to feel alright
I don't want your sympathy
I just need a little therapy
At least that's what they say to me.
{With that Jayson pumps himself up and runs for the ring with intensity as the chorus starts.}Hey ho let's go
I'm gonna start a riot
You don't wanna fight it
One two fuck you
Don't tell me what to do
I don't wanna be like you
{He slides into the ring and all the lights in the arena start flashing black and orange really fast as Jayson climbs to a turnbuckle and yells into the crowd as they cheer back at him.}Can't you see it's killing me
I'm my own worst enemy
Knock me down I'll keep on moving
It's the art of losing
{The music starts to fade as Jayson waits for his opponent.}Terri Morasco: With everything going on in his life, I don’t see how Jayson can focus on this match.
Vasco Dias: Well, that’s life. He’s in this match, and he needs to focus or he’s going to get his butt kicked.
{"Cult of Personality" by Living Colour hits the sound system, Mike Laszlo walking out onto the stage, followed by Alexis Caffrey, to a negative reaction from the crowd. Surveying those who boo, a grin comes over his face as he heads for the ring with a confident walk, ignoring the outstretched hands of some fans along the isle, Alexis by his side holding his other hand.}Alison Valance: Making his way to the ring, accompanied to the ring by Alexis Caffrey, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing 237 pounds…MIIIIKE LASZLOOOOO!
{The two get to the end of the ramp before Mike lifts Alexis onto the apron. She enters the ring as Mike rolls in under the bottom rope. He climbs the outside ropes to the top rope in the corner nearest the entrance ramp and poses for the crowd amassing a magnitude of booing. He jumps down and goes to the opposite corner and does the same, garnering the same reaction. With a sly grin on his face he jumps down and backs into the corner, clasping his hands together and twirling his wrists as he gets ready for the match.}Terri Morasco: He came back and took out the House of Howlett with a baseball bat, we got him in a Tag Team Match on Christmas, and now, Mike Laszlo returns in his first singles match since August.
Vasco Dias: I can’t believe he said no to the House. I just don’t get that logic.
{The bell rings and the two men stare one another down as they walk to the center of the ring, shaking hands in the traditional sense in the center of the ring before circling it.}Terri Morasco: Great show of sportsmanship between these two.
Vasco Dias: Whatever. The Mike of old would have just punched him in the face.
{They lock up in the center of the ring and struggle around for a moment before Mike uses his weight advantage to push Jayson back into the corner. The referee counts to four as both men hold their hands up and back away from one another. They circle again and lock up and this time Mike scoots around Jayson, locking him around the waist, looking for a German Suplex, but Jayson hits a couple elbows before attempting to run to the ropes, only to have Mike keep hold of his arm, pulling him back in. Jayson goes for a Clothesline but Mike ducks and locks his hands around the waist, popping off the German Suplex into a bridge, but only gets a one count.}Terri Morasco: Mike trying to end things early here.
Vasco Dias: I don’t like Jayson, but it’s going to take more than that.
Terri Morasco: I think Mike knows that, but you can always try to surprise your opponent.
{Mike gets to his feet and swings at Jayson who ducks and rolls him up with a School Boy, but he too only gets a one count. Mike with his kickout, rolls out of it and as both get to their feet, he lunges forward and takes Jayson out with a hard Clothesline!}Terri Morasco: A hard shot from Mike.
Vasco Dias: And now look.
{Mike stomps at Jayson a few times as Jayson crawls to the ropes causing the referee to start his count, getting to four before Mike backs off.}Terri Morasco: That mean streak is still there.
Vasco Dias: That it is.
{As the referee turns, Mike stomps in, grabbing Jayson by the head and pulling him to his feet. He lays a kick to Jayson’s stomach before hooking both arms, and lifting him into the air with the Double Underhook Backbreaker!}Terri Morasco: Welcome to the CLE.
Vasco Dias: But we’re in Florida…
{Mike hooks the leg again, but only gets a two count as Jayson gets the shoulder up.}Vasco Dias: In a way, Jayson kind of reminds me of Laszlo early on in IWF. He’s very resilient.
Terri Morasco: This is true, and perhaps that’s why Mike hasn’t shown any frustration.
{Mike pulls Jayson to his feet and again places a hard spinning boot to the gut of Jayson before running to the ropes and looking for the running knee he calls the “Shot of Malice”, but Jayson stands up. Mike turns and Jayson hit the “Jayson Matthews Experience” (Trouble in Paradise)! Jayson scrambles and hooks the leg on the former Imperial Champion…
1!
2!!
NO!
Mike gets the shoulder off the mat.}Terri Morasco: He hit him out of nowhere with that kick!
Vasco Dias: And almost got him the win.
{Jayson stalks Mike who is slow to his feet. Jayson charges and goes to wrap himself around Mike with the “Dawn of the Final Day” but Mike, knowing the move well, as it is his Finisher as well, stumbles toward the ropes, immediately causing the referee to start a count. Jayson let’s go through the ropes, but as he goes to pull himself through the ropes to the apron, Mike kicks him straight in the face, causing him to go limp.}Terri Morasco: Right in the face with that kick.
Vasco Dias: Jayson might be out on his feet, leaning over those ropes…
{Mike grabs Jayson by the head and pulls him into the ring, his feet dangling on the middle rope. Mike looks around with a smile on his face before dropping Jayson face first into the mat. He stands to his feet and waits for Jayson to get on all fours before running into the ropes and hitting him with the Shot of Malice (Running Knee) that stuns Matthews. He stumbles around and Mike kicks him in the gut before lifting him up on his shoulders and hitting him in the middle of the ring with the Malicious Intent!}Terri Morasco: MALICIOUS INTENT!
Vasco Dias: Well, that’s it.
{Mike drops down and hooks the leg on Matthews…
1!
2!!
3!!!
The bell rings as “Cult of Personality” hits the speakers.}Alison Valance: Here is your winner...MIKE...LASZLOOO!
{Mike celebrates with his wife as we go to commercial.}----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT”A Real Challenge”----------------------------------------------------------
Earlier in the day.
{ A large black limo pulls into the loading docks of the O’Connell Center in Gainesville, Florida. As it comes to a stop the driver opens the door and hops out rushing to the back of the car where he opens the door and Cable Arcane steps out in black three piece suit with the Imperial Championship slung over his shoulder. He moves past the driver and toward the main arena as IWF interviewers try to get a word with him but he ignores them. He heads into the main part of the arena and down the hall way toward his dressing room when he stops to rip a clip board out of the hand of one of the stage hands. He looks it over before shaking his head in total disgust. }Cable Arcane: Not on the card tonight? Not surprising. I’ve already beaten everyone this “prestigious” roster has to offer.
{ He shoves the clip board back into the chest of the man he took it from before heading further down the hall way and toward the House of Howlett locker room when suddenly he is stopped by several men in all black combat gear. }Security Guard: Mr Arcane?
{ Cable stops and looks them over before adjusting his championship belt. }Cable Arcane: Can I help you?
Security Guard: We’ve been instructed to show you to your own personal locker room.
Cable Arcane: Really?
{ The security guard points in the direction of a janitorial closet to which Cable cracks his neck in frustration as he turns back to the lead guard. }Cable Arcane: And who instructed you?
Security Guard: Mr Verona…
Cable Arcane: Heh… I thought so. You can go ahead and let Verona know the one REAL Imperial Champion will not be treated like this. Especially when my contract dictates far superior treatment.
{ Cable turns away from the guards and right into the face of Noah Field who is dressed extremely elegantly with his own championship proudly over his shoulder. }Noah Field: Trouble in paradise?
Cable Arcane: What do you want, Noah?
{ Noah clicks his tongue as he looks at the Imperial Championship and then back to Cable. }Noah Field: I just wanted to comment on you defending your championship in a gym last week while I defended mine inside of an arena.
Cable Arcane: I won my match.
{ Noah rolls his eyes. }Noah Field: Laura instructing her masked puppet to lay down isn’t the same as actually winning. Of course, if you wanted to experience a real challenge you could face the only true undefeated man in IWF today.
{ Noah adjusts his championship proudly. }Cable Arcane: Funny, I remember defeating you.
Noah Field: Gimmick matches don’t count, sorry. I’ve never been pinned or submitted. Of course if you’d rather cling to a ridiculous stipulation win against me that’s fine. At this rate it’s only a matter of time before my title becomes more valuable than yours.
{ Cable just glares at Noah. }Noah Field: You know where to find me when you’re ready for a real challenge… I’ll be in the House’s personal locker room. Enjoy your broom closest.
{ Noah laughs as he walks past Cable who just continues to look straight ahead with a sneer on his face as we fade to black. }----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCHAlex Jones vs Derek Brooks
----------------------------------------------------------
"If I could find the words, if I could shake the world, if nI could turn back time would you still be there?"
{Of Mice and men's "Would you still be there?"blasts over the PA as Alex Jones steps out onto the stage. His long two tone hair wet down his back and sides. He wears a black Alex Jones shirt and his wrestling gear. He gets down to the ring and leaps onto the apron before wiping his feet off and getting into the ring, he throws his arms out to the side before slapping his chest}Vasco Dias: Last week we saw a huge upset when Dorian Hawkhurst defeated Alex Jones
Terri Morasco: Alex is a veteran, a 12 year veteran. I don’t see that rattling him. In fact he looks every bit as confident as he always does.
{The synthesized beginning of "Remember The Name" by Fort Minor begins to play as the crowd grows silent.}YOU READYYYY!?
LET'S GO!
{The beat breaks in and the strobe lights around the arena go with said beat as the crowd begins to amp up.}"This is ten percent luck..."
{As the lyrics begin a single spotlight shines on the man known as "Greatness" before he glances over his shoulder, staring down at the ring. With a concentrated look he slowly turns and starts down to the ring as he's announced.}Alison Valance: From New York City, weighing in at 265 pounds, he is "Greatness Personified"...DEREK BROOKS!
{He holds out his arms at the end of the walkway as his name echoes throughout the arena as the fans cheer him on. He climbs the stairs and walks along the apron to the corner where he ascends and looks out to the crowd before flinging his arm in the air much to their appease. He jumps down and steps through the ropes, walking to the center, bouncing around, light as a cat despite his large frame as he gazes out to the crowd before snapping around, climbing the corner and flinging his arm in the air again as the flashbulbs go off everywhere. He jumps down and continues bouncing from one foot to the other in a graceful manner as he waits for the match to begin.}Vasco Dias: We haven’t seen Derek in a few weeks but he looks ready to go tonight
Terri Morasco: Derek Brooks is a hell of an athlete and an underrated member of our roster….
{Alex stretches against the ropes as Derek stands in the opposite corner bouncing on the balls of his feet. They step out into the center and Alex offers his hand. Derek looks tentative but takes it. Alex gives Derek a nod and they seperate waiting for the bell to ring.}DING DING
Vasco Dias: Great show of sportsmanship by Alex…
Terri Morasco: Maybe he has changed….
Vasco Dias: Leopards can’t change their spots Terri...
{The two men go to lock up, they go straight into a collar and elbow, Derek uses his height, weight and strength advantage to throws Alex back across the ring into the corner. He nods and shrugs as Alex laughs and gives him a nod of approval. They look like they’re going to lock up again, this time though Alex uses his speed ducking under picking a leg and tripping Derek down onto his back, Alex keeps hold of Dereks leg and spins around it dropping down hard. Alex then tolls forward keeping Dereks leg in his hands before dropping an elbow. }Terri Morasco: Alex is so technically sound in there
Vasco Dias: People forget because of the striking and high flying that Alex is a mat technician in there…
Terri Morasco: He has to take Derek down after he got a taste of the strength of the much bigger man…
Vasco Dias: It’s a smart move...
{Derek kicks Alex off and gets back to his feet, as Alex steps in Derek lays in a stiff right hand stumbling Alex back. He then grabs Alex by the wrist whipping Alex into the ropes, Derek ducks down going for a Samoan drop, he picks Alex up but Alex drops down behind him into a reverse waistlock, Derek throws his elbow back connecting with Alex causing him to release him, Derek hits the ropes and clotheslines Alex down.
Derek stays on the attack pulling Alex up by his hair, he sets him up for a vertical suplex lifting the former world champion in the air holding him up for a while showing amazing strength again as the crowd cheers, he then sends lex crashing to the mat and floats over for a pin 1…..2...Alex kicks out.}Vasco Dias: Wow Brooks kept Alex up there a while…
Terri Morasco: When you’re 6’5 265 you can do these things
{Derek pulls Alex up and again goes for a suplex, Alex though throws his knee down catching Derek in the head. Alex drops to his feet and hits a clothesline taking Derek over the top rope to the floor. Alex lands on the apron and runs across it before kicking Derek in the chest with a stiff punt kick. He then leaps back into the ring hitting the ropes and then throwing himself over the top rope with a somersault plancha onto Derek. Alex pops to his feet and the fans pop as he grabs Derek rolling him back into the ring.}Vasco Dias: It’s been awhile since we saw that Terri.
Terri Morasco: Alex went airborne!
{Alex grabs the top rope and calls for Derek to get up, as he goes Alex springboards off Derek catches him right in position for the Display of greatness, Alex has it scouted and slams his elbow into the side of Derek’s head, Derek though still muscles Alex up hitting him with the happenstance backbreaker. Alex bounces off Derek’s knee and Derek goes for the pin 1….2….Alex kicks out just in time}Terri Morasco: Wow that was close!
Vasco Dias: Derek is crazy strong and he just powered Alex up and down across his knee...that looks painful
{Derek calls for Alex to get up as he does Derek goes for yet another Samoan drop, Alex drops down again and hits an Aj-guri sending Derek down, Alex climbs to the top rope and goes for the spiral tap, Derek rolls out of the way and Alex crashes hard holding his back. Both men get to their feet and Derek hits a hard clothesline, Alex pops up and Derek hits another and another before finally hitting the samoan drop on the third try. }Vasco Dias: Wow Alex got dropped hard.
Terri Morasco: This could be over…
{Derek pins 1…..2….Alex kicks out again Derek gets to his feet sweat pouring down his face, he pulls Alex up and goes for another display of greatness, as he lifts him up Alex throws himself back flipping onto his feet, he kicks Derek in the stomach and sets him up for the dragon sleeps, Derek ducks down and pulls Alex’s legs from under him and goes for the submit to greatness, Alex kicks Derek off and as he rolls back to his feet Derek runs in and Alex catches him with aq hard dropkick. Derek is down, Alex hits the ropes and as Derek gets up Alex hits the flashback curbstomp! He pins 1….2….3} ----------------------------------------------------------
TAG TEAM MATCHBuck Spencer & Devlin Raine vs Nighthawk & Andrew Jacobsen
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: “This next contest is a tag team attraction and is scheduled for one fall with a 20-minute time limit or television time remaining. Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome team #1.”
{The Lights Darken as The horns of "Iron" start to play, whilst the beat picks up Devlin emerges from the crowd wearing his jacket and the Guy Fawkes mask , the Destiny Deal steps up on the guard railing slowly as he slips off the mask and slides under the bottom rope to salute at the crowd and then turns to keep eyes about him.} Alison Valance: “Introducing first, from Chicago, Illinois and weighing in at 210 pounds….. the inaugural winner of the Cruiserweight Invitational Tournament, ‘The Destiny Dealer’ Devlin Raine!”
{The lights go out as “Mouth for War” by Pantera hits the speakers, Buck Spencer walks through the curtain, nodding his head along to the music, more as if he was enjoying it than playing to the crowd. He doesn’t have any special motions, he just holds one arm in the air and makes his way to the ring.}Alison Valance: “His tag team partner, weighing in at 211 pounds, Buck Spencer!”
{The opening riff of "Unbreakable" plays, sending the crowd into a frenzy, and as the drums kick in Andrew Jacobsen comes striding out onto the ramp, Danielle Chase a step behind him. He takes a few steps forward, looking to either side with a wide grin on his face. Andrew looks dead ahead at the ring, cracking his neck, and throws his arms out and head back as a burst of red and green pyro goes off to either side of him. Andrew and Danielle walk down the ramp, Andrew high-fiving fans as he goes, and he pulls himself up onto the apron, looking around at the fans with an infectious grin on his face. He climbs through the second rope and walks to a corner, checking his gloves and talking with Danielle as he waits for the match to start.}Alison Valance: “Ladies and gentlemen, their opponents. First, from Minneapolis, Minnesota and weighing in at 235 pounds…. ‘The North Star’ Andrew Jacobsen!”
{ As the ring announcer moves to a neutral corner the lights in the sold-out arena dim for just a moment as the opening strains of "I Remember (Spartan X Intro)" by Tristam boom out over the sound speakers, as Nighthawk walks to the ring confidently shaking hands with the crowd as he does so. Climbing up on the outside of the 2nd and 3rd turnbuckles the "Wrestling Machine" exhorts the crowd to make more and more noise before climbing into the ring and submitting himself to be checked out by the referee.}Alison Valance: “His tag team partner, from Chicago, Illinois and weighing in at 185 pounds…. ‘The Master of 1000 Holds’….. ‘The Wrestling Machine’ Nighthawk!”
Terri Morasco: “And up next, we have a very interesting tag team match. Nighthawk and Andrew Jacobsen, who had that spectacular time-limit draw a week ago on the New Year’s Edition of Sacrifice, team up to take on Buck Spencer and Devlin Raine. While there were some who looked askance when it was first signed, thinking that putting together 2 teams of opponents was a recipe for dynamite and havoc, both teams have made it a point of mentioning that they are planning on working together.”
Vasco Dias: “If you look at how Nighthawk and Andrew wrestled against each other, the idea that they would be a tag team makes a lot of sense. AJ’s underrated power game, and Nighthawk’s ability to go to the air and hit hard fit perfectly as a team. Conversely, Devlin Raine has been complimentarily reffered to as the ‘trickster’ of IWF. The best example of this was in the 1st-round match of the CWI against Nighthawk. Anyone who would have been putting strategy for that match together would have advised Nighthawk to stay with the mat game, and not try to throw bombs with a bigger man. But he somehow was baited into that strategy, and we all saw what happened. It is vital for the Nighthawk-Jacobsen team to win, they have to keep with whatever strategy they came up with and not get drawn into whatever traps Devlin wants to set.”
{As both teams go over their final consultation with strategy Nighthawk decides he’s going to start for his team and Buck Spencer does the same for his side as the referee rings the bell. Immediately shaking hands with him, Nighthawk quickly goes for a collar-and-elbow lockup only for Buck to use his strength and weight advantage to back Nighthawk into the ropes where the referee steps in between the two of them to force a clean break. Taking a moment to figure out what he wants to do next as Andrew Jacobsen releases the tag rope to go and offer his tag team partner some strategic aid Nighthawk fastens up the wristband on his blue-and-white gloves and removes the top knot allowing his long hair to flow free before hitting a tilt-a-whirl armdrag followed by a rolling double wrist snap that almost sends Buck Spencer sliding through the bottom rope. Looking up in something approaching absolute awe at what just happened the Texan bear-crawls his way back into the ring, taking a deep breath and putting a mouthpiece in his mouth on the inhale as both men appear to be taking things very seriously now. Quickly going for a collar-and-elbow lockup Nighthawk quickly goes for a small package that gets a quick 2-count before the “Wrestling Machine” has that reversed into a small package that gets a quick 2-count for Buck Spencer before both men pop to their feet and go for dropkicks at the same time. Each man nodding at the other Nighthawk reaches out for a tag to Andrew Jacobsen as Buck Spencer does the same with Devlin Raine.} {As Nighthawk tags in Andrew Jacobsen the “Wrestling Machine” takes a quick moment to tell him to keep his cool and play by the rules, before offering some sotto voce strategy advice regarding Devlin Raine. Nodding his head Andrew moves in for a collar-and-elbow lockup and quickly takes Devlin over with a backslide that gets a long 2-count, before Devlin goes to a quick side headlock takeover as this match has remained notably scientific up until now. Reaching up to hook in a headscissors Andrew now places his elbows in the shoulders to keep the hold in tight before Devlin rolls through into a prawn hold, getting a quick 2-count. Picking Devlin up AJ goes for an inside cradle only for Devlin to reverse that into one of his own that gets a 3-count.} Alison Valance: “The winners of the match, the team of Buck Spencer and Devlin Raine!”
----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT”I Know What You’re Trying To Do” ----------------------------------------------------------
{We catch up with The Garcia Twins, both exiting the Diamonds Locker Room in sweatpants and T-shirts, the Diamonds Title hoisted over Paige’s shoulder as they drag their bags behind them. Rachel Grimes catches up with them.}Rachel Grimes: Excuse me girls. We all saw what Fiona did to the two of you and…
{Paige cuts her off.}Paige Garcia: And WHAT!? Do you want me to tell you that she ruined two thousand dollar dresses? Do you want me to tell you that I’m worried that she outsmarted me!?
{Rachel backs off a bit.}Paige Garcia: Here’s what I’m going to tell you. I know what Fiona is trying to do. I know she wants a shot at my Diamonds Championship and she’s going to pay for what she did tonight. She better be careful what she wishes for because when I get her in the ring, I’m going to make sure she can’t Tweet ever again. There will be a Diamonds Championship match at Metamorphosis. She will be the challenger. She WON’T know the stipulation until I deem fit!
{With that, Paige and Sara storm off out of the arena.} ----------------------------------------------------------
IWF SHIELDMAIDEN
SINGLES MATCHJinx vs Eternity (c)
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest, scheduled for one fall, is your main event of the evening, and it is for the IWF Shieldmaiden!
{All of the arena suddenly becomes basked in darkness. Static echoes on the public address system. Then a white spotlight appears on the ramp, showing it shrouded in smoke. Then September Mourning's "Stand by Me" starts to play and a shadow can be seen in the middle of the smoke swaying from side to side in unison with the music. Then just as the chorus picks up, Jinx steps out of the smoke and holds her arms straight out as if she were being crucified, palms up, face toward the rafters with a solid white carnival mask on. She stands there motionless throughout the entire chorus.}Terri Morasco: A clash of two of IWF’s most eerie personalities here in our main event. Jinx seemed confident in calling Eternity a fraud this week. Is it a mistake to underestimate someone of her caliber?
Vasco Dias: A lethal mistake in my opinion. Still, confidence can take you a long, long way in this business, and Jinx certainly isn’t lacking in that department.
{Then once the song slows again, Jinx starts to make her way with a slow walk to the ring with the spotlight following her, stopping just as she reaches the apron. Then she slides under the bottom rope and just as the sped up chorus starts again she jumps to the turnbuckle and rips the mask off as the lights come on. At first she holds her arms out, mask in hand, palms up, her face looking at the sky motionless. Then she again starts to sway with the beat, eventually hopping off the turnbuckle just as the music comes to a close. Finally, she takes a knee and bows her head, almost as if she's deep in prayer or meditation.} Terri Morasco: From bad…
Vasco Dias: To worse.
{The lights go out completely, before the opening guitar riff causes blue strobe lights to pulse in time with it. A few moments pass before the lyrics to "No Color" by Otep begin, the blue strobe lights provide just enough illumination for us to see the purple coloured smoke slowly gathering to cloud the entranceway.
Eternity emerges from within the cloud of colourful smoke. There is a mixed reaction from the adults, but the children seem to fear the shadowy woman who is wearing a black hat and a veil with her head bowed as she seems to lightly bounce halfway down the ramp.}Terri Morasco: A woman who has defined terror among the Diamonds, Eternity will be making her third defense of the Shieldmaiden since winning it at Survival of the Fittest from Crystal Millar. And no matter what, the woman that emerges from this match with the title will be looking at a date with Helena Sawyer come Metamorphosis.
Vasco Dias: Eternity’s not thinking about the future. Hell, she might not be thinking about the present. All we know is that we don’t know, and after three years of watching her week in and week out that’s a disturbing thought.
{She stops in the middle of the ramp and takes a bow, taking her veiled black hat off and posing with it in her outstretched arms. She continues her journey down the ramp, skipping and carrying her hat in her right hand. She slides under the bottom rope into the ring and when she reaches the centre, she transitions into a skip, over to the turnbuckle where she hangs her hat on a ringpost, patting it.
She then skips to the middle of the ring and falls to her knees, keeping her head bowed for a moment and her eyes closed. she tilts her head back and slowly opens her eyes to the heavens. This gesture now triggers the lights to slowly be raised back up to normal levels as her music starts also to fade away.}Alison Valance: Introducing first, the challenger…from Breckenridge Asylum, weighing in at 137 pounds, she is the White Reaper, JINX!
{The crowd gives a mixed reaction for Jinx, who remains in her meditative pose, almost as if blocking out the outside world.}Alison Valance: And her opponent…from the Other Side, weighing in at 137 pounds, she is the reigning and defending IWF Shieldmaiden, Sister Sorrow, ETERNITY!
{Another mixed reaction, though this one is slightly more cheers than boos. Eternity’s face splits in a mischievous grin, and she waves at Jinx, who still shows no reaction to her antics. She rises to her feet, however, and her eyes snap open as the bell rings.}Terri Morasco: Both women as ready as they can be, and here we go!
{When the bell rings, Jinx and Eternity slowly close the distance with each other for a few steps before exploding into a run. Jinx swings for a lariat, but Eternity sidesteps, waving again as Jinx regains her footing. Refusing to let emotion show, Jinx closes again, slowly, and feints another charge. Eternity holds her ground, though, and Jinx nods to herself. She turns as if to walk away, and Eternity steps in to give chase. Jinx snaps back around, though, and delivers a dropkick! Eternity rolls back with the impact of the strike, wiping the corner of her mouth, and smiles, applauding Jinx. The crowd doesn’t seem to be sure what to make of this, and neither is Jinx, who looks over her shoulder at Eternity, somewhat perplexed.}Vasco Dias: This isn’t the start either of us saw coming, Terri. And I’m pretty sure Jinx didn’t expect that.
Terri Morasco: Both of these women employ mind games in their pursuit of victory, but it’s tough to psych out an expert. Who will crack first?
{Eternity grins, stalking forward, and Jinx shakes her head, closing in with Eternity. As she approaches though, Eternity lashes out with a spinning backfist, cracking Jinx across the jaw! Jinx recoils, and Eternity presses the advantage, grabbing her arm, wrenching it around, and snapping it over her shoulder! Jinx lets out a cry of pain, and Eternity holds on, driving the point of her elbow into Jinx’s shoulder before twisting her around into a hammerlock. She keeps moving, though, and hooks Jinx before dropping her with a Devil Lock DDT! Eternity covers, bearing her weight down on Jinx’s shoulder!
ONE!
TWO!
KICKOUT!}Terri Morasco: Eternity’s found her target of choice early, Vasco, and I don’t think she’s going to give any quarter.
Vasco Dias: That Dying Wish of hers goes after that arm, and I’ve seen it rip through the defenses of fresh women without so much as a moment’s preparation. A softened target…that’s just asking for carnage.
{Eternity lets Jinx stand, taking a few steps back before charging and leaping with the Fallen Angel flying clothesline! Jinx manages to drop to the mat, however, and Eternity flies into the turnbuckle, impacting shoulder-first and staggering back. Jinx charges in and begins throwing frenzied punches at Eternity, attempting to overwhelm the Shieldmaiden. She delivers a pair of knee lifts in the corner, taking a few steps back before delivering another running knee lift to Eternity’s midsection! Eternity staggers out, clutching her stomach, and Jinx begins climbing the turnbuckle, looking around to the crowd.}Terri Morasco: Looks like Jinx is thinking something a little more acrobatic here!
Vasco Dias: We could be seeing that Clipped Wings senton of hers, if she can catch Eternity quick enough.
{Jinx quickly takes a few steps along the top rope, steadying herself and leaping off at Eternity, flipping into a seated senton to deliver the CLIPPED WINGS! She reaches back to hook Eternity’s legs!
ONE!
TWO!
KICKOUT! Eternity pushes Jinx off, kicking at her injured arm as she does, and Jinx clutches her shoulder as she staggers to her feet. She charges in with another lariat attempt, but Eternity ducks under and catches her with the Tears of Sorrow Side Effect slam! She rolls through the slam, hooking Jinx’s arm in a Fujiwara armbar! Jinx flails against the hold, quickly hooking her foot on the bottom rope, and the referee steps in, trying to break the hold.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
Eternity releases the hold, seemingly ignoring the referee, and eyes Jinx, a vicious grin on her face.}Terri Morasco: What’s next on Eternity’s mind? She’s got that look on her face…
Vasco Dias: If I’m Jinx, I’m making sure my health insurance is in order right now. Or taking a walk! No title is worth crippling!
{Eternity quickly yanks Jinx’s arm into a wristlock, walking to the turnbuckle, and climbs to the top rope. She walks along the ropes, grinning down at Jinx, and leaps off, clubbing her shoulder and completing the BURNING ANGEL! Eternity covers again, hooking the leg!
ONE!
TWO!
THR—KICKOUT! Jinx manages to force her way out of the cover, but immediately goes back to clutching her arm. Eternity chuckles to herself, but as she moves in to press the attack, Jinx lashes up and out with a quick forearm! Eternity staggers back, and Jinx charges forward, leaping and delivering a leg lariat! Eternity finds herself dropped to the mat, and Jinx rolls to her knees, letting out a scream to the crowd!}Terri Morasco: Jinx trying to buy herself some momentum, and for the moment it looks like it’s working!
Vasco Dias: She can’t let Eternity breathe, though, or she’ll be right back where she started.
{Jinx shakes her head, shouting at Eternity as she tries to recover with fury in her voice.
“YOU CAN’T FRIGHTEN ME! JUST STAY DOWN!”
Jinx kicks Eternity in the gut as she stands up and positions her in powerbomb position, signaling for the REAPER! However, as she starts to jump, Eternity pushes up against her, sending Jinx over with a back body drop! Jinx hits the mat, but bounces back up quickly. She fires another quick kick to Eternity’s gut, but this one is caught! Eternity grins at Jinx, spinning her around, and quickly snares her injured arm, dragging her down into a bodyscissored crossface chickenwing!}Terri Morasco: That’s the Embrace of Madness! That’s Helena Sawyer’s finishing hold!
Vasco Dias: I think Eternity’s trying to send a message to the #1 contender!
{Eternity cranks back on the hold, practically wrenching Jinx’s shoulder out of its socket! Jinx tries to kick her legs and turn Eternity enough to find the ropes again, but Eternity has placed her body between Jinx and the ropes! Seeing she has nowhere to go, Jinx reluctantly taps out!}Alison Valance: Here is your winner by submission and still IWF Shieldmaiden, Eternity!
Terri Morasco: Thank God it’s over, now—wait, what’s Eternity doing?!
{Eternity is refusing to release the hold, no matter how frantic Jinx’s tapping becomes. The referee steps in, trying to pry Eternity’s hands apart, but she refuses to let go! Finally, after a good twenty seconds she lets go, standing up and roaring “LIAR!” at the prone form of Jinx. She steps back, ripping the Shieldmaiden belt from the referee’s hands, and rolls under the bottom rope as Jinx clutches her shoulder.}Terri Morasco: Well, that’s it for this episode of Sacrifice, and another painful reminder of what Eternity is capable of.
Vasco Dias: Jesus Christ, she makes me glad I retired…see you next week, folks.
{We fade out on Eternity backing up the ramp, leering at the crowd and clutching her title.}
