Everything comes into focus and as it does we are treated to the sight of the almighty Willcorp building in Manhattan, New York. A board of directors meeting is occurring and Todd of course is the last one to arrive. Guess he can’t help running on that CP time (Colored People). He is dressed in a baby blue suit attached at his waist is his lovely wife of Caucasian descent Kimberly. Kimberly and Todd can’t help but make out with one another as they make it to the meeting room. The board of directors just watches on as Todd places his wife on the table and the two begin to go at it. The kissing gets hot and heavy until Todd slowly begins to undress her. Todd’s sister Jennifer who happens to be the CEO of the company just sighs as she yells back at her brother.
Jenny: “TODD!!!!!! Would you stop the crap we have serious matters to discuss!”
Todd just slowly turns his attention over to his sister as he shakes his head in disgust. He looks back at his wife as he gives her a passionate kiss on the lips and gazes right into her eyes.
Todd: “Sorry babe we will pick up where we left off when we get back to the hotel room.”
Kimberly: “Whatever you say boo… Let’s just hurry this up. You know what I really want!”
Jenny just rolls her eyes as she looks back at her brother and sister in law. She offers a long sigh as she crosses her arms and glares back at the two of them.
Jenny: “Just cut that shit out we have a meeting going on one which you are late too! I advise you to either kick your little slut out of this board room or tell her to behave. “
Kimberly: “Relax… Just discuss what you need to discuss.”
Kimberly jumps off of the table as she begins to adjust herself. Todd takes a seat at the head of the table as Kimberly sits on his lap. Todd smiles as he just looks at everyone around the table and offers a long sigh.
Todd: “Alright so what’s the big deal?! What do we really need to discuss that’s so damn important?! I mean come on we have one of the biggest hotel chains in the world. It really can’t be that serious.”
An older black man just sighs as he stands up. That man happens to be Todd and Jenny’s Godfather Daniel Black who serves as the COO for Willcorp. He gazes at everyone in the room as he slowly begins to speak.
Daniel: “Actually we did have the biggest one at one point but we aren’t doing as good as we were before. Business is slow mainly because nobody wants to stay at our hotels anymore. We have seen a drastic drop in business over the past two years and if business keeps on dropping we might have to start closing a lot of our chans.”
Todd: “WTF! Why do we have to start closing hotels for?! Don’t they know who I am! I always mean business! I am the man with a plan! I am TODD WI….”
Jenny just stands up as she shakes her head in disgust.
Jenny: “No! simply no… That’s part of the problem as much as you think they might know who you are. The truth is they REALLY DON’T! It’s the same old shit over and over again Todd. You think you can get by on namesake alone but the reality of the situation is that you can’t! They don’t care about your name. Because for the past two years it’s been irrelevant!”
Todd: “How is it irrelevant!”
Jenny: “Well for starters you haven’t been the same since your long ass SVW World Championship run. Sure you could have set the record for the longest reign as champion.”
Todd: “Not to mention first ever BLACK champion!”
Jenny: “Whatever but you went on a downward spiral since then. You got divorced to Fiona. Which means you been in three different divorces. Your wrestling career has been absolutely horrible. You and me both tried to make comeback stints and it didn’t get us anyway, and now people don’t want to stay in our hotels.”
Todd shrugs his shoulders as he looks right into the eyes of Jenny.
Todd: “What do you mean don’t want to stay… That’s a bunch of bull!”
Jenny: “It really isn’t! Most of the people that stayed in our hotels are or were wrestling fans. When you don’t take things as seriously as you once did the fans are going to take notice, and they aren’t going to want to stay in our hotels anymore. What did you think was going to happen?!”
Todd: “That the money would keep rolling in?!”
Jenny: “Negative… I am as much to blame as you are.”

Both of you could have been doing things to help us out but apparently you couldn’t do shit…”
Jenny: “Truth be told Xander is trying to deliver the goods right now. We are trying to get pregnant so….”
Todd just shakes his head as he offers a grin.

Jenny: “Whatever that’s not the point. The truth of the matter is you need to fix this. You need to get this family back on track. You need to bring balance back to the…”

Todd: “I know… I am the chosen one and you don’t need to worry about a thing. I will bring redemption to our surname. I will do what I do best and…”
Jenny: “So that means you will actually show up on time?!”

Jenny: “Let alone actually SHOW UP!”
Todd: “Girl I always show…”
Jenny stares blankly at him.
Jenny: “Todd… You almost didn’t show up for our board meeting. There’s more to life than trying to show boat with the WHITE WOMAN!”
Todd: “And there’s more to life than trying to get plugged by your WHITE MAN! Look you focus on getting preggers let me focus on bringing honor to the name. I know it’s been a long time coming but you can depend on me Jenny. I will fix this and when I do everybody in this board room is going to be cheering things out loud from the roof tops. They won’t be able to contain themselves. Our hotels will be flooding with so many customers and the money will roll.”
Jenny: “Good because at the end of the day that’s what it’s all about. That’s what it has been about and you better make sure to bring it. IWF is a perfect place of opportunity and hell even Jimmy Zane decided to make a comeback so….”
Todd holds his arm up as he looks directly at his sister.
Todd: “Whoa! Stop the press… Jimmy Zane is back again?! The man I ridiculed as being James Wolfe. The entire reason that Theodore Coyote was birthed in the first place?!”
Jenny: “Yes he seems to be back. In fact many people are coming back and are doing big things. You going to just sit there and watch as everyone passes you by? As everyone ridicules you on being a has been among everything else. This could be your chance at redemption. A chance to really show people that you aren’t the same man that you were every other time you came back. Just show them what you can do instead of always talking about it.”
Todd: “I will bring it!”
Jenny smiles in return.

Todd: “Look I know I made so many promises in the past but this time it’s different. Our entire livelihood depends on it and I don’t want to ruin anything. You all need me to come through in the clutch and you will get the best out of me. I will make an impact in the wrestling world. I will bring honor back to the family, and restore revenue to this company. It’s time to actually mean business and show everyone why I am indeed TODD W…”
Jenny: “Nigga… Sit yo ass down. We know who you are… Just be about it. Meeting adjourned!”
With that Jenny looks at her brother as she stands up. She walks past him shaking her head at him whispering not to let her down. Todd can only nod his head as he has a lot to think about.
What’s going on IWF… It certainly has been a while hasn’t it. Well honestly it really hasn’t but I know you all are probably accustomed to this by now. Todd Williams comes in for his yearly returned. Gets hyped up promises his return is going to be bigger than anything you have ever seen before. I try to make it a larger than life appeal but then at the end of the day you are all let down because I just don’t deliver in the way that I said I was.
I write checks that I often don’t cash in and it just bounces. The more it bounces the more I bankrupt my own credibility and it just hurts. It really stings and I don’t want you to get caught up in the hype and the broken promises. Instead of sitting here running my mouth for you to expect something fantastic in the weeks to come why don’t we focus on the here and now shall we?!
Because what I see in front of me is the opportunity of a life time. I see the chance to gain the biggest prize in the entire company. This is a once in a life time chance. Most of the time people have to earn themselves a chance at the big belt. They have to really work their way up to the top from the bottom and it is a grassroots approach.
But check this out… I feel like I have been here once before. It came five years ago when I was competing in NCW which was the company that came before this one. I entered into their big over the top match and wasn’t expected to do much of anything. I was inconsistent just like I am now. I really wasn’t expected to do much but to the contrary of everyone else.
I shocked the entire world because I put my effort in. I put forth the hard work and showed everyone that I when I am dedicated to something I can indeed do the unthinkable.
Well the way I see the chance to get in the ring with Cable Arcane… I see myself walking in a very familiar situation. It may not seem like it now but if I put forth what I know I can do, and what you all know I can than it will be the same exact thing. I do something that shocks the world, and right now that’s what I need more than anything else.
I need that big shock the world moment. I need something to act like a wakeup call to the rest of the roster, and I need this game changing moment.
Todd just shakes his head as he looks into the heart of the camera.
Why? Because on behalf of my livelihood it’s needed, I need to win the Imperial Championship. I need to restore honor to my name, and I need to show everyone that I still have it in me. Everybody is making comebacks to this company. Steve awesome is back in the fray. Alex Jones, Jimmy Zane, Bop Pooler. All which are names that I know. All who are wanting to make steps in the right direction and then of course there’s me. The man people use as a stepping stone to make their own name credibile. A name they use to spring forth with their own career, and that’s the kind of stuff that’s going to stop because I won’t allow that to happen anymore.
What makes this return different from any other time?! Because for the first time ever I am not fighting for myself. I am fighting for my company, for the future of my family, and I refuse to let my own stupidity ruin the integrity of my future and my family’s future.
I feel like at my absolute worst. It still stings that my daughter wants nothing to do with me. It’s a shame that my own daughter would rather be with her mother and has completely disowned her father. She doesn’t want me in her life, and I am completely fine with that but that doesn’t mean I am just going to take it sitting down.
No I am going to do everything in my power to get her back. Do everything I possibly can to show her that her father loves her, and he isn’t that selfish to the point that he has flat out forgotten about her.
I know I can be neglectful and honestly when you have a child at the age of 14 you tend to lose out on your teenage life. You tend to spend so much time growing up far too fast too quickly that you start acting like you should have been in those teenage years. Crystal and I grew up too quickly when we were younger and having a sixteen year old daughter is something that could make so many eyes roll but I can’t walk away from it because these are problems that I created.
Thus these are problems that I need to deal with, and they will be dealt with. However before I jump into the fray of trying to be this super dad I need to take it day by day, step by step, and make a gradual buildup into redemption.
That’s what makes this different because as much as I want to have that game challenging event this chance to face Cable. It’s my walk to the top. Winning would be an amazing feeling but the idea of just being in the ring with the best will just reaffirm my belief that I have what it takes to be in there with the best. Whether by hook or crook Cable you are indeed the best. Despite what any other person might say. You have the belt that states you are the best.

But despite that don’t think I am out here singing your praises because I pride myself on being a dreamer. A man who works his ass off into making his own dreams become a reality, and I will do whatever I can to make that come to past.
As a redeemer I try to save those who are in need but the one who is in need of redemption is me. Redemption from being a failure in the cruiserweight invitational, a failure for Teddy Steele in the tag team challenge, and just a failure in IWF altogether.
But on everything that is beating inside of me this time must be different because it’s not a case of me wanting to win. It seems to be a necessity. There are so many people who are making their returns to the company but I need to make mines just important. I can’t allow everyone else to have their moment without me having one of my own.
That’s why I am laying it all on the line and I am willing to put my body out there in order to get what I want. That one thing being credibility and I can get that from facing you Cable.

What can you expect from me?! To be honest we won’t know until the bell rings. I can promise so much but we all know talk is cheap and honestly I am on the expensive side.
I don’t want to do things that are considered cheap. I want to show you with my actions what I can do. I want to prove my worth in the ring and let the wrestling ability do the talking because then it will be taken as being real.

Do I care if the fans boo me or cheer me, honestly I don’t, and I don’t know what to expect from them either. The only thing I need to focus on what I can do and the rest will fall into place.
