âAll About Meâ
----------------------------------------------------------
{As the show opens up, we see a limousine pull into the parking area. From it emerge the Garcia Twins, Paige with the Diamonds Title draped over her shoulder. Backstage correspondent Rachel Grimes walks up with a microphone in hand.}Rachel Grimes: Excuse me Paige, with all of the crosshairs on your back in your match tonight...how do you plan on escaping the predicament you find yourself in tonight?
{Paige looks her up and down and shakes her head in disbelief.}Paige Garcia: Escaping? What the hell are you talking about? Iâm the Diamonds Champion. Thereâs been a target on my back since the day I strapped this belt around my waist. I donât need to escape anything. Iâm the best thing going in this division and tonight...I prove that it is indeed all, about...ME!
{Paige and Sara walk off as Rachel is left standing with the microphone.}----------------------------------------------------------
DIAMONDS TAG TEAM MATCH
Rowan MacDonnough & Charity Crowne vs Astrid Hall & Shea O'Hara
----------------------------------------------------------
{The lights go out before the tron flickers to life with a flick of orange hair, before "In God We Trustâ by Sweet Little Machine blasts out of the PA with orange and green lights flashing wildly, in time with the drums
"ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
NAH, NAH, NAH NAH!
NAH NAH-NAH NAH NAH!"}
Alison Valance: âIntroducing first, from Cork, Ireland and weighing in at 135 poundsâŠ. The Irish Bombshell, Shae OooooâHARA!â
{The crowd chant along with the song, as Shea OâHara barges through the curtain before standing in the middle of the stage. She lowers herself, almost squatting, before thrusting her arms into the air with the âdevil hornsâ as a small pyro goes off behind her. She then sprints to the ring, sliding under the ropes and runs to the camera side and leans through the ropes on the second rope throwing up her âdevil hornsâ once again.}
Terri Morasco: Shae OâHara looks ready for action tonight, and the crowd definitely seems behind her!
Vasco Dias: Yes, she looks awfully confident for someone whoâs lost the Iron Maiden twice, now.
{The arena is filled with blue and green light as Immigrant Song begins to play, evoking colors of the sea or the forest. As the music intensifies, Lights shine down to reveal Astrid entering through the crowd, huge smile on her face as she descends towards the ring, carrying a viking-style shield as she approaches. She interacts with the crowd, laughing with them and allowing some of them to take selfies with her, giving high-fives and fist bumps all the way down. Her manager, Emma Danielson, walks behind her, smiling and interacting with the crowd as well, though not in as show-stealing a way. Before leaving the crowd, Astrid hands the shield to a young girl declaring âAnyone can be a hero - welcome to the Shield Wall, Sister!â.}
Alison Valance: âAnd her partner, from Trondheim, Norway - weighing in at 185 poundsâŠ. The Valkyrie, Astriiiiid Haaalll!!!â
{Emma gestures Shae to come over to ringside, where she shares a hug with the two women before clapping them warmly on the shoulders and wishing them good luck.
Astrid leaps into the ring, pumped up and beaming as she jumps onto the ropes with a triumphant fist in the air. Shae joins her and matches the movement, and the two of them take in the crowdâs cheers before they settle into their corner.}
Terri Morasco: You canât deny that these two women definitely seem to be on the same wavelength tonight. Theyâre acting like theyâve been tag partners for a long time.
Vasco Dias: Iâm not sure who I feel more sorry for â her or her partner for being stuck with one another tonight.
Terri Morasco: Is there a single kind bone in your body, Vasco?
Vasco Dias: The miracles of modern medicine, Terri.
{"Pop pop!"}
Alison Valance: âAnd their opponents! Entering first, from Kensington, London, England, weighing in at 130 pounds⊠she is the Diamond in the Rough, the Crowne Jewel⊠Simply Flawless Charity Crowne!â
{The clapping synth intro of "Popular" by The Veronicas plays over the PA, and Charity Crowne walks out onto the stage, rolling her eyes and striking a brief pose at the top of the ramp. She smirks, rolling her wrist, and struts down the ramp, dismissing fans if they reach over the barricade. Charity hooks the ring post with a hand, walking around to the side of the ring, and plants a hand on the ring apron, jumping and swinging herself under the bottom rope. She back-rolls to her feet in the middle of the ring, posing again, and casually walks to a corner. She wraps her hand around the top rope, casually yanking on it a few times as she waits and the music fades.}
Vasco Dias: Hereâs who we all really came to see.
Terri Morasco: How can you cheer for her?
{ Lights out. The crashing cymbals and screeching opening chord of âRed Starsâ by the Birthday Massacre ring out, and red smoke billows from either side of the entranceway as Rowan MacDonnough stalks out from behind the curtain, golden eyes glinting in the red light as they shift from side to side. The stage and ramp are lit by swirling red light, but everything else remains dark.}
Alison Valance: âAnd her partner, from Kilkenny Ireland, weighing in at 145 pounds â The Wolf of the Abyss, Rowan MacDonnough!â
{She lopes forward, unconsciously rolling her wrists as her eyes bore a hole in the air before her. The smoke seems to follow her down the ramp as she walks, reaching up and grabbing the middle rope with one hand. Rowan hauls herself up onto the apron, standing and ducking between the middle and top rope to step inside the ring. She straightens up, slowly pacing towards the center of the ring as a spiraling pattern of red light appears on the mat, and her eyes scan the crowd, head moving in a jerky, animalistic pattern. She slowly, reluctantly backs towards a corner, eyes constantly moving as she settles in to wait for the bell, not addressing Charityâs presence in the slightest.}Terri Morasco: She gives me the creeps every time she walks down that ring⊠but we definitely donât see the cohesion between these two women that we saw with Shae and Astrid.
Vasco Dias: They wonât need teamwork. They outclass their opposition in every way.
{Astrid and Shae nod to one another, smiling wide after a brief discussion, as Astrid slips under the ropes to let Shae take the first crack. Charity simply flips back over the ropes, content to let Rowan do the work for her.}
DING!
{As soon as the bell rings, Charity drops off the apron and strides over to the announce table as Rowan and Shae begin flurries of offense upon one another. Astrid watches Charity with a confused look as she snatches Vascoâs headset away from her and sits down next to Terri.}
Terri Morasco: Hey, whatâs going on?
Charity Crowne: Iâm winning Rowanâs so-called no-win scenario, Terri. This masked freak wonât get my help tonight, and I wonât give her the chance to get her filthy hands on me next week. Iâm turning this into a two on one handicap match⊠to Rowanâs detriment. Nobody threatens the Crowne Jewel!
Terri Morasco: So youâre giving up your chance to have a shot at the Shieldmaiden Championship?
Charity Crowne: Why would I want it? Everyone knows I would easily beat Eternity and reign as Shieldmaiden until I retired. Why bother forcing myself to languish in the second-best title in the Diamonds division? The Shieldmaiden is beneath me. Only the Diamonds Championship is worthy of being Simply Flawless.
{Rowan glares lethal daggers of hate towards Charity, a moment of distraction that gives Shae an opening to slam her with a snap suplex. Rowanâs attention â and fury â switches sharply back to the other Irishwoman, and Rowan is back on her feet in a flash. She unloads on Shae with a series of brutal strikes, knocking the senses out of Shae with repeated Muay Thai knee strikes to the head. Shae reels back from Rowanâs savage offense, but Rowan does not let up the pressure, charging at the Bombshell with a leaping knee strike. Shae staggers back from the blow, collapsing in the corner away from her tag partner, and is too dazed to avoid the Yakuza Kick that Rowan delivers with a roar of malice.}
Charity Crowne: Oh dear me, looks like Shaeâs in a bit of trouble. Poor dear.
Terri Morasco: You know if Rowan wins this on your own youâll still have to fight her next week, right?
Charity Crowne: That was when it was a tag match, darling. Iâm out, now, not beholden to anything.
Terri Morasco: Do you⊠think before you speak?
{Shae falls to the ground, senseless and out of breath. Rowan flips her onto her back, and for a moment it looks as though sheâs going for the pin⊠but instead she drops to all fours and slowly, un-settlingly crawls up Sheaâs body, pulling her head slightly upwards⊠before unleashing a savage series of chained headbutts to the downed Bombshell!}
Terri Morasco: Defiler! Looks like the frenzy that Charity inspired in Rowan was too much for the Irish Bombshell to resist!
{Rowan stands, glaring at Charity Crowne from over Shaeâs limp form, pointing slowly at her downed opponent before pointing threateningly at Charity. Rowan then goes for a series of kicks to her downed opponent⊠but Shae kicks Rowan in the gut, sending the Nightmare back into the ropes. Shae flips onto her belly, crawling slowly towards the corner where Astrid waits with her hand outstretched⊠Rowan stalks forward, looking to drag Shae back into the middle of the ring⊠but Shae pulls her strength from within her and dashes forward, MAKING THE TAG TO ASTRID HALL.}
Charity Crowne: And now the Valkyrie will do my work for me. Just like I planned. A brute to destroy a brute.
Terri Morasco: ⊠Just like you planned. Do you hear yourself right now? If Rowan had gone for the cover, thenâŠ
Charity Crowne: Just. Like. I. Bloody. Planned.
{Astrid surges into the ring, the crowd surging with cheers at the hot tag as the two powerhouses go to work against one another. They exchange a series of strikes, neither seeming to get the upper hand on one another. Rowanâs strikes are savage, but Astridâs size and power gives her an advantage in resisting her onslaught. Rowanâs only getting angrier, though, and isnât giving Astrid an opening to truly push forward with her own offense. Astrid tries to back up slightly to set up for something more significant, but Rowan flips with the DANCE THE SPIRAL! The blow to the head staggers Astrid, dropping her to a knee as Rowan goes to the apron!}
Terri Morasco: Could be looking for the Mark of Macha, hereâŠ!
{Rowan indeed hits the springboard and flies towards Astrid, going for her devastating elbow strike⊠but ASTRID STANDS AND CATCHES HER BY THE THROAT! Astrid roars in defiance as she lifts Rowan higher, stalling her in midair for a few moments before sending her crashing to the ground with the Winterâs Grip Chokeslam! Astrid goes to cover!}
ONE!
{Rowan kicks out before the crowd can even finish saying the number! The two women are back on their feet and circling one another in a heartbeat. âCOME ON!â Astrid shouts with righteous fury. âSHOW ME WHAT YOUâRE MADE OF!}
Terri Morasco: And Rowan kicks out of the Winterâs Grip with a vengeance!
{Rowan charges in again, heedless of the other womanâs advantage in height and strength! Rowan does not defend herself against the staggering blows, but seems only driven on by the pain rather than intimidated by it. Rowan bowls into Astrid with a running chop block, surging onto the woman with a savage onslaught of strikes to her back and head. Astrid powers herself onto her feet, starting to feel the wear of Rowanâs attacks before leaping forward and nailing Rowan in the face with a Superman Punch! Rowan reels back, giving Astrid the space to charge forward again, crashing headlong into the Wolf of the Abyss with a SPEAR! Astrid goes to cover once more!}
ONE!
TW-
{Rowan kicks out again!}
Charity Crowne: I⊠how is she..?
{Rowan climbs to her feet, touching the side of her face where Astrid broke the skin with her punch, staring at her own blood for a moment before once again charging headlong at Astrid, howling with fury. Rowan flashes up to Astridâs neck with a massive hurricanrana, driving Astrid to the ground. Rowan pulls herself up, not making the cover before Astrid gets to her feet, grabbing Rowan and pulling her up onto Astridâs shoulder⊠into a TORTURE RACKâŠ!}
Terri Morasco: Here it comes! Could Astrid be going for the RagnarokâŠ!?
Charity Crowne: BLOODY KILL HER ALREADY!!!
{Rowan contorts out of Astridâs grasp, falling to the floor⊠but on her feet. Sheâs unsteady, beaten and bloodied, but is so driven by hate and pain that she wonât go to the ground. Astrid breathes heavily, face a mask of disbelief as she makes eye contact with her partner in the corner. The two stare at one another for a moment, Rowan between them, before the two women nod as one as Shae climbs to the top rope..}
Charity Crowne: What are those morons doing now?
{Astrid roars again, charging forward as she clasps her hands together, slamming them into Rowan with a tremendous SHIELD BASH! Rowan is knocked onto her back, but Astrid doesnât go for the cover⊠instead bull-rushing straight past the prone Wolf of the Abyss AND MAKES THE TAG TO SHAE OâHARA! Astrid slips under the ropes as Shae takes to the sky, slamming onto the prone Rowan with a 450 SPLASH! She doesnât go for the cover, instead wrapping her legs around Rowans, locking in the CELTIC PRIDE!}
Terri Morasco: And thereâs OâHara with her most dangerous submission, the Celtic Pride! What an insult it would be for Rowan to tap out to a move named after Rowan and Shaeâs shared Nationality!
{Rowanâs golden eyes bulge with anger and pain, but Shae pulls her to the center of the ring! There is nowhere for Rowan to go, and she seems to worn out to escape. Rowan screams savagely, arching her back and reaching towards Shae. For a moment it looks as though she wonât reach from the angle, but then her arm snaps into position with an audible, sickening pop. Instead of trying to dislodge Shaeâs grip, she reaches back and locks her fingers in Shaeâs mouth with the Eater of Souls!}
Terri Morasco: Oh my GOD! I think Rowan MacDonnough just dislocated her own arm to put Shae in a submission of her own! Sheâs insane!
{The two Irish women hold their lock for several long moments, struggling against one another in anger and defiance. Rowanâs knuckles are white as she presses her free hand into the mat, defiantly refusing to even consider tapping as Shae tries to dislodge Rowanâs implacable grasp on her jaw. Shaeâs hand hovers over the mat, and a few times it looks almost as though she is going to tap from the pain, but the Irish Bombshell powers through the pain and refuses to submit to the nightmare! Another few, tense moments pass, before⊠Rowanâs eyes close. The knuckles slowly lose their tension. The grasp on Shaeâs jaw loosens slightly as Rowanâs head droops to the floor! The ref comes and checks on them, looking into Rowanâs eyes⊠before signaling for the bell!}Alison Valance: Here are your winners by Knockout â Shae OâHara and Astrid Hall!
Charity Crowne: And thatâs my cue to get out of here before the hell bitch wakes up.
{ âIn God We Trust" by Sweet Little Machine plays as Astrid dashes into the ring, beaming with pride and raising Shaeâs hand in victory as Emma runs in to congratulate them both. Charity Crowne makes her quick exit as medical staff move in to tend to the unconscious Rowan and her dislocated arm.}
----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Maxine Valentine vs Fiona McFly
----------------------------------------------------------
{ The lights dim to a sickening Green as an Early Warning Siren plays for a few seconds before âWorld Painted Bloodâ starts to play and Maxine comes wondering out on a burst of smoke dressed in her ring gear and added gas mask, head half bowed and ignoring the crowd as she takes he sweet time pulling herself into the ring. Taking off the mask slowly and surely to take a big breath of Ring side air and hanging the thing up on the nearest Turnbuckle. }Terri Morasco: Maxine Valentine is the biggest Diamond I had ever seen!
Vasco Dias: Yeah...and she's mean too.
{ "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" by Dropkick Murphys kicks into high gear as Fiona McFly marches out on stage, takes a bow, and heads down to the ring--giving lucky fans quick pecks on the cheek along the way. }Vasco Dias: Fiona would be Shieldmaiden right now, but nope...she had to be a stupid mi--
{ Terri quickly places her hand over Vasco's mouth, preventing him from uttering anything that might be considered "offensive." }Vasco Dias: (voice muffled) Miserable excuse for a Diamond!
{ Morasco quickly lets go of her broadcast partner, who grits his teeth in disgust. }Terri Morasco: Say that again?!
Vasco Dias: I said...Fifi was a miserable excuse for a Diamond. Do ya REALLY think I was gonna use that word that rhymes with "pick?!"
Terri Morasco: Given your oft-warped and twisted vitriol against Fifi...yeah, I think ya would.
{ In the opposite corner, we see Fiona knelt down in prayer, a tradition that she has incorporated into her pre-match regimen, but when Maxine sees this she instantly charges from behind... }[DING!]
{ ...and rains down the clubbing forearm smashes to the back of Fiona's noggin, earning instant boos from the crowd. The dude wearing the stripes tries to step into the fray to try and maintain a little decorum, but he finds Maxine's size advantage to be too much even for him! Valentine goes right for McFly's hair, dragging her all over the ring as the ref counts to four. When he yells the words "I'll disqualify!," Valentine let's go of the Northern Irish Woman's hair and shoves her back into a corner, where she proceeds to pummel the more experienced Diamond with lefts, rights, and knife-edge chops before shooting her into the ropes. Fifi bounces off the strands and into a shockingly athletic dropkick, followed by a second! After Fiona winds up on the wrong end of a pair of vertical suplexes, she ends up taking a killer exploder suplex variety--only for Maxine to get a two-count. }Terri Morasco: Talk about unsporting!?!
Vasco Dias: Fifi shouldn't have been prayin' in the corner...
{ Maxine continues the attack, scowling as she drops her leg across Fiona's windpipe, leaving the Northern Irish Woman gasping for air. Valentine proceeds to head up to the top rope and eyes her opponent on the deck... }Vasco Dias: Uhhh...if she hits this move, it's over!
Terri Morasco: Valentine's wasting too much time here!
{ ...but Fiona rolls out of the way, prompting Valentine to hit nothing but the canvas and knocking the wind out of herself. This gives McFly, a smaller yet speedier lass, the opportunity she's looking for. A few swift kicks to the ribs double Maxine over before Fiona pulls her up to her feet and sends her for the ride; Maxine bounds off the ropes...and into a dropkick, followed by a second and a third to complete the hat trick. A flying forearm follows that up, followed by a quick-reverse neckbreaker that gets Fiona a two-count. Yet McFly never wavers for a moment, clubbing her opponent with some good, old-fashioned, open-handed slaps to Maxine's temples before executing a perfectly-timed Russian legsweep. Fiona then proceeds to head to the top rope, smirking at the cheering fanbase for a second before flying off... }Vasco Dias: BOOM!!!
Terri Morasco: Zoinks! Fifi went for the crossbody but was caught in midair!
{ ...right into Maxine's waiting arms, and the big Missourian punishes her for that lapse in judgement, nailing her with her trademark "Goodbye Alice" chokeslam. She goes for the pin... }1...!
2....!!
THREEEEE--NOOOOOO!!!!
{ Maxine stands up pissed, barking at the zebra-shirt who simply gives her the dreaded two fingers! In her rage, Valentine says she's had enough of this bullshit and places Fiona into position for her "Outbreak" sitout powerbomb finisher...but Fifi manages to fire off enough desperation rights and lefts to her rival's schnozz that she winds up staggering towards the corner. McFly somehow is able to land back on both feet and instantly twists Maxine around, nailing her with her patented SENDING OFF inverted DDT! The crowd cheers wildly as Fiona covers... }1...!
2...!!
THREEEEEEEAWWWWWWW....!!!
{ Fiona shakes her head for a brief moment, wondering what the hell is going on as the ref holds up the not-so-pleasant two fingers! Yet she doesn't let her own temperament get to her--instead, she tries to place Maxine into her dreaded kimura hold known as the DTS...but Valentine rolls her up into a surprise small package! We see that both women's shoulders are on the mat as the zebra counts! }1...!
2...!!
{ Maxine manages to get her shoulder up just in the nick of time as the stripe shirt hits the canvas for the third time! }THREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
[DING-DING-DING!!!]
{ "World Painted Blood" plays again as Maxine ekes out a sly, evil smirk on her kisser. Meanwhile, Fiona sits up and ponders to herself about what the crap just happened out there. }----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Will Fenell vs Jayson Matthews
----------------------------------------------------------
{The match went back and forth, and it seemed as if Will was going to get the win after Will hit the âHalf and Halfâ Suplex. He went for the cover and Matthews shot the shoulder off the canvas at the last possible second. Will grabbed hold of Matthewsâ arm and tried to lock in the âDirty South Lockâ (Last Chancery), but Jayson slipped away, sliding to the outside of the ring. Will gives chase and Matthews slides back into the ring, quickly to his feet and as Will slides in and pops up to do some sort of move, Matthews is already in the air and hits him with the âJayson Matthewsâ Experienceâ (Trouble in Paradise) right in the face. Jayson rolls onto the cover, hooking the leg for the three count.}----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT
âWhy Canât You Let It Go?â
----------------------------------------------------------
{âREGRETS I'VE HAD MINE!â}{The crowd start to cheer as the familiar theme of Steve Awesome starts blaring through the speakers.}Terri Morasco: Steve Awesome is here? I didn't expect to see him back so soon after what Rob Diamond did to him at Motor City Mayhem.
Vasco Dias: Rob smashed a window over his head, and the dude is back in the arena the next week? God I hate that guy!
{Steve Awesome indeed comes stepping out onto the ramp, flanked by Mandi Matthews. He tries his best to be energetic but he moves slowly.}Terri Morasco: He looks to be showing the effects from the attack from Rob Diamond. No doubt that bandage around his head is hiding multiple stitches from the cuts he sustained from the window.
{Awesome climbs into the ring and he sits on the second rope and holds up the top to let Mandi in and he grabs a microphone as his music starts to fade.}Steve Awesome: So last week, at Motor City Mayhem, in my hometown of Detroit Michigan inside the arena I grew up in The Joe Louis Arena, I got everything I wanted. I beat up Lord Dominicus, I proved to everyone that it was Rob Diamond under the mask all along. I achieved my goal and look at me now.....â
{Mandi Matthews watches on as Steve motions toward his fancy new head bandages.}Steve Awesome: I got me a bunch of stitches from the cuts I got when Rob Diamond smashed a window over my head. The doctors say I should have had a concussion but lucky for me I just get to have a terrible migraine that has lasted all damn week and I still have it now. Rob...you are going to pay....you are-
Mandi Matthews: Wait!
{Suddenly Steve stops and looks over at Mandi who has grabbed a microphone.}Mandi Matthews: I don't know about you Steve, but I am tired of all this. I'm sick of this vicious violent circle that has been going on between you two for a whole year. Every Time you think it's over someone ends up bandaged up and hurt or fired or betrayed and it never ends. Can't you just let it go?
{Steve turns and looks at her.}Steve Awesome: Me? Mandi he smashed a window over my head. What am I supposed to do? Say thank you and move on? Maybe he is the one that can't let it go. Maybe-UGH
{Just then Rob Diamond comes flying through the crowd and into the ring and smashes Steve in the back of the head with a forearm smash. Mandi screams as Steve stumbles forward and to the ground.} Terri Morasco: OH! And Rob Diamond from behind with a shot, and now he's putting the boots to him.
Vasco Dias: Ha ha this is great!
Terri Morasco: Oh I'm sure you're just loving this.
{Rob keeps stomping on him and yelling it will never be over. Mandi has seen enough and she goes to try and stop rob. She puts a hand on his shoulder and Rob instinctively hits a spinning back fist and cold clocks her harder than anything she's ever felt. She goes down and Rob realizes what he's done and an actual look of remorse fills up his face.}Terri Morasco: Oh no! That shot hit her right in the temple. She's going to need help.
Vasco Dias: I think she's out cold, terri.
{The crowd start booing and Rob takes the time to try to explain that he didn't mean too and as this is happening Steve Awesome finally realizes what has happened. He see's Mandi down and Rob standing over her. Steve is looking at his fallen lady and he starts to feel shock and then denial and then of course...rage. He glares at Rob, he is almost snarling and showing teeth. Rob tries to explain that it was an accident but Steve doesn't care and he just attacks Rob.}Vasco Dias: AH someone get security out here!
Terri Morasco: You weren't calling for them earlier when it was rob who had the upper hand.
{Steve punches Rob toward the ropes and then super kicks him over the top rope. Rob falls over and Steve heads to the outside where he rams Rob into the steel post and then spins him around for momentum and sends him head and shoulder first into the steel steps. Steve grabs a steel chair and he looks like he is going to swing and take Rob's head clear off but Steve's eyes lock back on Mandi. He stops fighting and goes back to her side as the EMT's start loading her up on the gurney. Steve stays with her as we cut to commercial.}----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Alicia Lukas vs Crystal Millar
----------------------------------------------------------
{We come back from commercial to see Crystal Millar in the ring already as the opening riff of "Root of all evil" by Incendiary starts and as the guitar kicks in with the baseline stomp Alicia Lukas emerges from the back, she stands on the entranceway and lifts on hand in the air throwing up the horns before making her way down to the ring. She runs up and slides across the apron on one knee lifting her hand on the air before sliding between the apron and the bottom rope
Vasco Dias: Alicia came up just short in the Iron Maiden last week, but has been on quite the tear as of late, showing a lot of the women on our rosterâŠ..how to get things done.}Terri Morasco: I canât argue with that Vasco, sheâs made quite an impact since debuting here in IWF, and next on the list is Crystal Millar. A woman whoâs career has had several ups and downs.
{The bell rings and the two go at it, with Lukas getting the clear advantage, she wrestles Crystal to a knee before reaching back and clocking her in the jaw with a stiff elbow shot that knocks Millar down to the floor hard. The referee steps in and checks on Crystal who holds her jaw, but tells the referee sheâs âgood to goâ Alicia is back in her own corner holding her hands out with a âcome on, letâs goâ kind of pose.}Vasco Dias: Wow, Alicia almost broke Crystalâs jaw there.
Terri Morasco: Lukas does not hold back with her blow, and I donât think Millar was expecting that.
{Crystal rushes back to her feet and charges at Alicia Lukas, she starts unleashes wild slaps and punches, that startle Alicia, but the new Diamond manages to block a few of them, and as Crystalâs temper seems to be getting the best of her Alicia Lukas ducks underneath a huge wild swing from Crystal, before Millar turns around right into the CUPCAKE KABOOM! Alicia smirks as she coversâŠ..ONE! âŠ.TWO! âŠ.THREE!!!}Terri Morasco: Holy cow, Alicia Lukas made short work of Crystal Millar there.
Vasco Dias: This Diamond is a hard hitter, and she showed exactly how hard right here tonight.
----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Nighthawk vs Ryan Shane
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: âThis next contest is a singles contest scheduled for 1 fall with a 60-minute time limit.â
{"Victim" by Eighteen Visions begins to play throughout the arena. The entrance ramp is dimly lit as the figure of Ryan Shane makes his way out from behind the curtain. Pyro goes off as Shane makes his way to the ring as the fans erupt in a mixture if cheers and boos. As he gets to the ring he hops onto the apron and enters. Once in the ring and then stands he raises his hands high to the continued mixed reaction of the crowd.}Alison Valance: âIntroducing first, from Allen Park, Michigan and weighing in at 210 poundsâŠ. âRight Nowâ Ryan Shane!â
{As the ring announcer moves to a neutral corner the lights in the sold-out arena dim for just a moment as the opening strains of "I Remember (Spartan X Intro)" by Tristam boom out over the sound speakers, as Nighthawk walks to the ring confidently shaking hands with the crowd as he does so. Climbing up on the outside of the 2nd and 3rd turnbuckles the "Wrestling Machine" exhorts the crowd to make more and more noise before climbing into the ring and submitting himself to be checked out by the referee.}Alison Valance: âAnd his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois and weighing in at 185 poundsâŠ. âThe Master of 1000 HoldsââŠ. âThe Wrestling Machineâ Nighthawk!â
Terri Morasco: âAs Nighthawk returns to singles action the week after a hard-fought loss with Jayson Matthews to the Lost Boys, you have to wonder if heâs looking forward to this singles contest against a Ryan Shane who is in just as need of a victory as he is.â
Vasco Dias: âI canât help but go back to what we heard him say at Motor City Mayhem, about possibly seeing something in Bob Pooler. You have to wonder if he is still looking forward to an Invictus title shot against Bob Pooler, and looking past Ryan Shane.â
{As the referee checks both men for contraband or foreign objects and finds nothing the crowd makes it clear whose side they are on, chanting âLetâs go Nighthawkâ until the rafters of the arena begin to shake and sway. Keeping an impassive stare on his opponent as the crowd continues to cheer Nighthawk stares a hole through Ryan Shane as the referee rings the bell for the contest to begin. Continuing to gaze at his opponent, seeming to assess what game plan might be the best for him in the moment, Nighthawk finally goes for a quick collar-and-elbow lockup and both men push each other around the ring with increasing force and intensity until they find themselves tied up in the ropes and the referee moves in to force the break only for Nighthawk to push off and step back into the center of the ring as he keeps his ice-blue eyes cold and thoroughly focused on the task in front of him. Laying his left hand out flat Ryan Shane quickly goes for a knucklelock as they jockey for position only for Ryan to use his weight and strength advantage to attempt to drop down into a front headlock which the Chicagoan quickly reverses into a close-grip wristlock as he begins to work on the left arm, taking that over before turning it into a figure-seven wristlock. Shaking his head no when the referee comes over to see if he wants to quit âRight Nowâ now begins to try and figure out an escape from this hold, finally deciding to let himself go to the mat and then quickly attempt to turn the figure-seven wristlock into a cradle which gets a quick 1-count before retreating to the ropes to both catch his breath and shake out his left arm as Nighthawk pulls himself up to his feet slowly, his eyes never leaving the arm of his opponent. Going back into a collar-and-elbow lockup the âWrestling Machineâ quickly goes right back to the opening he feels he has created for himself, only to walk right into a side headlock takeover from Ryan Shane. Trying to tightly cinch the headlock on as much to give himself some time to think and figure out what to do next Ryan canât get the hold on as tight as he wants due to Nighthawk working on prying the headlock open which he is able to do rather quickly and pop right through into a cross-armbreaker which causes Ryan to reach out for the ropes and then roll to the floor as the âMan of 1000 Holdsâ stays in the ring, his eyes never leaving those of his opponent.} Terri Morasco: âAnd early on in this match Ryan Shane is learning you canât try and stay on the mat with Nighthawk. With the possible exception of Cable Arcane there arenât too many other wrestlers on the roster who can keep up with him technically. If Ryan Shane wants to win, he has to do everything he can to avoid the match being fought on those terms. If he canât, heâs going to lose.â
Vasco Dias: âNighthawk is perhaps, and this goes for wrestlers outside IWF, the most precise technician I have seen in years. When he wants to apply a hold, he will make damned sure he has it put on perfectly. The amount of times Iâve seen him not get the most he can out of a hold, or a pinning combination, is very few. If youâre a young wrestler, you could do wonders just by following Nighthawkâs approach.â
{Rolling back into the ring, shaking out his left wrist carefully as he tries to think of what he wants to do next, Ryan Shane carefully moves back into the center of the ring and again goes for a collar-and-elbow lockup and again goes back to the side headlock, this time grinding his elbow into the cheekbone of Nighthawk as he seemingly wants to see if he cannot crack Nighthawkâs famously icy focus while also giving himself some time to think and alter his approach to the match and the man that is in front of him. Continuing to crank tightly on the headlock, scoffing at the crowd whose chants of âLetâs go Nighthawkâ get seemingly louder and louder with time, Ryan continues to grind on the headlock as the referee finally makes a step over to see if the Chicagoan has any interest in submitting to this hold. Shaking his finger no when the official approaches, Nighthawk begins to work on escaping the hold, snaking his left arm around Ryanâs back and grabbing his left wrist while also grabbing the right arm with his right hand. Standing up and twisting to the right the âWrestling Machineâ quickly escapes the hold and quickly turns himself into position to hook in a quick attempt at a Jim Breaks Special, but is only able to get the hold somewhat applied as Ryan quickly reaches out and finds the ropes to force the break. Staring at Nighthawk with something akin to confusion in his eyes Ryan takes a moment against the ropes to figure out what he wants to do next before going back to the knucklelock and hooking in a tight single-leg which he takes to the mat with the aid of a back heel trip and thus finds himself in the top position. But as he looks to pass the guard and perhaps go for a lateral press Nighthawk calmly sweeps himself through into a cross-armbreaker attempt which Ryan blocks by locking the hands and then stretching the toe of his boot out to reach the bottom rope before he kicks the bottom rope in absolute frustration as Nighthawk stares up at him impassively. Pulling himself back up to his feet again, anger clearly evident in his face and body language, Ryan again goes for a knucklelock and lands a hard kick to the thigh while in the knucklelock. Glaring at him with absolute malice as though this response was the absolute last thing he might have wanted, or expected, Nighthawk smoothly transitions into a standing octopus hold which he quickly supplements with a straight armbar as the crowd continues to show their approval for the mat wrestling that they are seeing. Scrambling to the ropes quickly, Ryan again forces the break of the hold which this time he gets at 4 as the âMan of 1000 Holdsâ looks at him with cool focus as Ryan again kicks the bottom rope in frustration.} Terri Morasco: âRight now, we are seeing Nighthawk exploit his technical advantages over Ryan Shane. Ryan cannot, for any reason, continue to wrestle at this pace. If he does, he not only will lose the match but he may lose the use of his left arm for some period of time.â
Vasco Dias: âIt might be time for Ryan Shane to turn this into a fight. Keeping this mat wrestling is going to turn into a nightmare for him.â
{Leaning against the bottom rope, annoyance growing ever stronger in his eyes as he stretches out the muscles in his left hand, Ryan pulls himself up to his feet and lands another hard kick to the thigh muscle as he is quite clearly intent on turning this into a more physical encounter only for Nighthawk to return fire with a hard European uppercut, followed by a snapmare and then a hard kick right between the shoulders which appears to be his attempt to give Ryan a warning to not try those tactics any further. Pulling himself up to his feet Ryan again goes for a knucklelock, only for Nighthawk to rather quickly hook in a straight wristlock and convert that into a hammerlock which he supplements with a legsweep as his focus on the left arm continues. Bending the left arm of Ryan Shane to create something approaching an inverted-L shape the Chicagoan steps through and hooks in a bridging hammerlock on the left arm while applying a wristlock on the right arm until the Michigander somehow is able to stick his head underneath the bottom rope to force a break. Pulling himself to his feet slowly, his left arm now noticeably weakened, âRight Nowâ throws a knife-edge chop to the chest which lands and seemingly has next to no effect. Glaring at Ryan Shane with a stare that could freeze molten lava the âWrestling Machineâ shakes his head before landing a knife-edge chop of his own that lands like a bullet from a .357 magnum and sends the Michigander recoiling into the turnbuckles where Nighthawk follows him in with a 2nd knife-edge chop and then a 3rd. But as he steps back to go for a running corner dropkick Ryan manages to guide him over the top rope to the floor before coming off of the ring apron with a somersault senton. Dragging Nighthawk over to the guardrails Ryan then hits an elevated DDT that sends him forehead-first into the thin mats on the outside of the ring. Kneeling against the guardrails, the adrenaline from his brief flurry having faded as the pain comes coursing back into his left arm, Ryan scoffs at the cheers of âLetâs go Nighthawkâ before rolling his man back into the ring and covering for a long 2-count. Pulling himself up to his feet carefully, his eyes now alight with a new focus, Ryan stalks the âMan of 1000 Holdsâ who pulls himself up with somewhat glassy eyes only to be caught with a gorgeous back suplex.} Terri Morasco: âThis is the way Ryan Shane has to wrestle to beat Nighthawk. He has to, for better or worse, turn things into a fight. If this stayed a wrestling match, or if Ryan Shane decides to turn it back into one, thatâs Nighthawkâs main offensive advantage.â
Vasco Dias: âBut can he keep his focus, Terri? One of the things that Nighthawk is famous for is keeping his head. Ryan Shane, on the other hand, is known for his ego and his short temper. You have to imagine he thinks he can do whatever he wants right now. And that is where danger lies.â
{shaking out his left arm, removing some tape from around his wrist, Ryan pulls his man up to a seated position and then hits a charging forearm to the back followed by a running necksnap and then a twisting bootscrape before stepping back a pace as he appears to be measuring Nighthawk for something. As the Chicagoan slowly rises to his knees Ryan quickly moves in and lands a duo of forearm strikes which, oddly, donât have as much on them as he expected and thus allows Nighthawk to fire back with a flurry of crisp forearm strikes of his own before bouncing off the ropes and walking right into a picture-perfect standing dropkick. Blinking his eyes and leaning against the ropes in an attempt to get his bearings the Michigander quickly pounces for a cover, getting a long 2-count. Shooting daggers in the general direction of the referee, who stands his ground and informs the official that Nighthawk was in fact able to get a shoulder up before the 3-count, Ryan returns to the corner and signals for the Someday Snap. But as Ryan rushes in Nighthawk counters him on the way in with a spectacular leaping double stomp, only to be caught with the Someday Snap on the way down before grasping his left knee and screaming in absolute agony. Checking frantically the referee rings the bell almost immediately and raises the hand of a groggy Ryan Shane in victory.} Alison Valance: âLadies and gentlemen, your attention please. Nighthawk has suffered a knee injury and is unable to compete any further. Therefore, your winner by ref stoppage isâŠ.. Ryan Shane!â

TAG TEAM MATCH
The Lost Boys vs Bueno Club
----------------------------------------------------------
{These two teams have been showing the world that Tag Team Wrestling is alive and well, both coming within a fraction of a second of winning the match. In the end, an exciting bit of transition occured when Dean went for a German Suplex on Malo who lands on his feet, stumbling back into the corner. Dean gets to his feet and turns as Malo charges him, connecting with his version of the Busaiku knee attack that he calls the âSĂșper Ăltimo Ataqueâ! Malo hooks the leg and gets the three count for the win.}----------------------------------------------------------
DIAMONDS TAG TEAM MATCH
Gabriela Luna & Pandora Freeman vs Alexis Caffrey & Paige Garcia
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following is a Diamonds Tag Team MatchâŠ
{The relentless opening chords of "Vortex" by Los Savants crash out as Gabriela Luna dashes out onto the stage, throwing her fist into the air to the cheers of the crowd. She shouts at the crowd, beckoning them on with her hands, and grins widely at them before turning and charging down the ramp. Gabriela leaps and slides feet-first under the bottom rope, rolling to her feet and coming up with a defiant shout of joy. She runs over to the nearest empty corner, leaping up onto the second turnbuckle and further beckoning the crowd on before hopping down into a crouch and waiting for the match to start.}Alison Valance: From Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, weighing 105 pounds...GABRIELA...LUNA!
Terri Morasco: Youâve got to feel for Gabriela. Alexis cost her a shot at the Diamonds Championship at Motor City Mayhem.
Vasco Dias: She did, but as she mentioned this week, that was really the furthest thing from her mind. She wanted to get her hands on Paige Garcia, and did just that.
Alison Valance: And her partnerâŠ
"We all Recognise...That I'm ..the problem here."{The lights dim, Even as the Intro to the song helps to light up UV, glow sticks, people waving and bouncing before the beat drops and out slams Pandora, lit up like a christmas tree by UV, as lit slowly bleed back to the area Pandora dances down to the ring, easily gracing movements as she hops up the apron and climbs in before gripping the top rope and arching back down to touch the ring mat with her head and leaves her feet on the ground making quite the arch as she rises up slowly still bouncing to the music as she encourages the crowd to move with her.}Alison Valance: From Hope, Michigan, weighing in at 160 pounds, she is the 2017 IRON MAIDEN...PANDOOOOORA FREEEEEEMAN!
Terri Morasco: This young lady has a lot to be proud of after her huge victory at Motor City Mayhem.
Vasco Dias: Iâll give it to her. She went into that match against some stiff competition and came out on top, and now has a shot at the top prize in the industry at the biggest show of the year, Night of the Immortals.
Alison Valance: And their opponents...firstâŠ
{âCult of Loveâ by Living Colour hits the sound system with a slow piano theme. The drums beat as "Cult of Personality" is mashed in just as Alexis shuffles out onto the stage. Alexis poses for the crowd who show their appreciation for the IWF Hall of Famer before she skips down to the ring.
Alison Valance: Making her way to the ring, from Cleveland, Ohio, weighing in at 115 pounds, she is an IWF Hall of Famer...Alexis Caffreeeey!!!
She gets to the ring and climbs up on the apron. She steps in under the middle rope and heads to the corner opposite the entrance ramp waiting for the match to begin.}Terri Morasco: As you mentioned, Alexis wanted to get her hands on Paige after the attack following their match at High Stakes, and revenge was on her mind.
Vasco Dias: It was, and while I understand that aspect of it, she did ruin a championship match, and I never look fondly on that.
Alison Valance: And her partnerâŠ
Vasco Dias: Boy she should use that term lightlyâŠ
{âOver Youâ by Girlicious plays throughout the arena. Seventeen seconds into the song, Paige and Sara come out to a negative reaction as they holds their hand in the air above their heads, their index fingers pointed down at themselves as they do a quick spin around before walking down to the ring, talking themselves up to all of those in attendance and everyone watching at home.}Alison Valance: Accompanied to the ring by her sister Sara, from San Diego, California, weighing 126 poundsâŠPAIGE Garcia!
{The two sisters jump up on the apron, posing for the crowd, showing off their beauty before each sitting on the middle rope and swinging their legs to the left, pulling the rest of their bodies in as well. They pose again for the crowd who boo as the two talk strategy for the match.}Terri Morasco: The way I see it, perhaps Paige should thank Alexis for stopping the match at the Pay Per View.
Vasco Dias: And why would she do that? Sheâs one of the most dominant champions in the history of that belt, and she was looking to prove that again.
Terri Morasco: I think she was looking to gloat.
Vasco Dias: You say gloat, I say point to the facts.
Terri Morasco: At any rate, theyâre partners here tonight, and they take on the hungry team of Gabriela and Pandora, and the way Pandora has been handling herself of late...this could be interesting, along with the unpredictability of Luna.
{The bell rings and we start in one corner with Gabriela, and on the other...well...disention as the two women try to decide who will start. Gabriela doesnât wait though and makes a beeline for Alexis, clubbing her from behind, taking her down to the mat as Paige steps out on the apron.}Terri Morasco: You had to see this coming after Alexis cost Gabriela her title shot.
Vasco Dias: Cheap shot...you donât see those coming Terri.
{Luna pummels away at Alexis before pulling her to her feet. She locks her up and quickly takes her over with a Snap Suplex, Alexis landing in the center of the ring as Gabriela talks some trash in her direction before pulling her to her feet again and hitting another Snap Suplex. Sheâs quick to her feet and heads to the outside as Alexis gets to her feet, dizzy from the assault. Gabriela pulls herself to the top rope with a Springboard and launches off, hitting Alexis in the side of the head with a Springboard Knee, rolling off toward the corner, but the force of the strike sends Alexis rolling to the outside, crashing on the floor.}Terri Morasco: Alexis hasnât been able to get out of the gate, and Gabriela is rolling here.
Vasco Dias: All the momentum is with Luna...and here she goes!
{Luna leaps over the top rope with a Tope Con Hilo taking out Alexis on the outside!}Terri Morasco: What an assault right now from Gabriela!
Vasco Dias: She took to the sky, and it was effective!
{Gabriela fires up the crowd before rolling into the ring and back out again to break the refereeâs count. She grabs Alexis and rolls her back into the ring, sliding in after her and hooking the leg for a near fall two count.}Vasco Dias: The time it took to get Alexis in the ring was just enough for Alexis to regroup a little bit.
Terri Morasco: That might be the case, but it also looks like Pandora is about to get her shot at Alexis.
{Gabriela pulls Alexis into the corner and tags in Pandora who gets a pop from the crowd before taking the twisted arm of Alexis, pulling on it, trying to dislocate her shoulder. She pulls again, this time Alexis stumbling in her direction, Pan sidesteps, grabs Alexis around the waist and pops off a German Suplex sending Alexis rolling back along the mat.}Terri Morasco: Pandora has been on fire, and has all the momentum it would seem, heading into the biggest match of her life at Night of the Immortals.
Vasco Dias: Sheâs come on strong at the right time...just gotta see if she can hold the momentum.
{Pandora stalks Alexis who has had no offense in this match, and turns right into a series of three straight Arm Drag takedowns, swinging wildly as Pandora ducks with a Matrix Style Back Bend, and as Alexis turns, sheâs met with a step up Enziguri to the side of the head. Pandora scrambles over and hooks the leg, but again only a two count on the former Diamonds Champion.}Vasco Dias: Itâs amazing how these two have completely shut down the former Diamonds Champion like this.
Terri Morasco: Perhaps a new crop in the Diamonds Division making their voices heard?
{Pandora pulls Alexis to her feet and sends her into the ropes. Upon the rebound, she hoists her up for a Sidewalk Slam, but out of nowhere, Alexis is able to spin her body into THE ENTANGLEMENT!}Terri Morasco: She literally pulled that out of thin air.
Vasco Dias: She did, but I think Pandora is too close to the ropes.
{Pandoraâs freehand is outstretched toward the ropes, her fingers straining to get to the ropes as Alexis wrenches back on the hold. Gabriela comes in, and Paige does so to intercept, but gets blasted by a forearm to the face, sending her into the Alexis/Pandora cluster, knocking them into the ropes. Panâs face rakes across the ropes on the way down, and Alexis seems to be exhausted as the referee regains control, pushing Gabriela toward the corner. Paige is on the apron as Alexis pulls herself up. She shoves Paige and the referee signals a tag. Paige gets in the ring and the two start arguing, Alexis eventually slapping Paige who looks to blast Alexis, but Alexis ducks as Paige stumbles forward and bounces off the ropes HITTING HER OWN PARTNER WITH THE âKISS GOODNIGHTâ (Spinning Codebreaker)!}Vasco Dias: What the hell!?
Terri Morasco: Alexis just hit Paige with the Kiss Goodnight!
Vasco Dias: And sheâs laughing about it.
{Pandora looks down at the fallen champion and shrugs her shoulders, running to the ropes, and rebounding with the RED SUN (Running Shooting Star Press)!!! She hooks the leg while staring at Alexis who makes no effort to break up the fall as Sara yells from ringside.
1!
2!
THREE!
The bell rings as Alexis rolls out of the ring, Pandora and Gabriela standing victorious with their arms raised as Pandoraâs theme blares through the arena.}
Terri Morasco: A HUGE win momentumwise for Pandora Freeman tonight!
Vasco Dias: If by huge you mean handed...sure.
Terri Morasco: What's that you always say? It doesn't matter how you win, as long as you win; and Pandora did just that!
Alison Valance: Your winners...Gabriela Luna, and the 2017 Iron Maiden...PANDORA...FREEEEEEMAN!
{The two celebrate as Sara pulls Paige from the ring, the two looking on as Gabriela and Pandora continue celebrating with the crowd as the show comes to a close.}
