ooc: dont judge me....im dying of exhaustion. got maybe 4 hours of sleep this weekend plus today long day turned longer thanks to terrible managers that cant keep a simple resturant staffed. just wanted to at least put forth some sort of effort before i pass out. back to regular form next booking.
So Sacrifice definitely had it's up's and it's downs that's for sure.
There were so many things going on that I found it hard to really digest it all at once. So let's just start with the positives on this one. First of all, I somehow managed to pick up a win over Will Fennel last week. Yeah, Will Fennel of the world renown Renegades tag team. It was tough man, it really took a lot out of me, I know that I had to dig down real deep to pick up that win against The Pitbull, a few times I was surprised I was able to kick out of some of moves but I pulled through and made it happen.
Now I'm proud to say that I'm now five wins into a full blown winning streak victory and gravy train celebration extravaganza! I was all excited to roll on into my next match when something happened that really took the steam out of the old engine. There I was watching the show, watching my sister and her fiance Steve Awesome in the ring when I see Rob Diamond jump Steve from behind. Now of course this isnt anything new from a guy like Diamond but it's what came next that really hurt me to watch....
It's when Rob Diamond backfisted my sister in the ring for no reason!
She just wanted to stop the fight and she got knocked out for her troubles. You know I've seen some low down dirty things done by Rob Diamond but this had to be down there with the worst things.
I rushed to her side as soon as I saw what happened.
EMT's checked over Mandi Matthews in the trainers room. They were shining the light in her eyes and asking her questions as Jayson Matthews comes rushing up to the scene. Jayson could see Steve Awesome, noticeably still just watching the doctors check out his fiance.
Jayson Matthews: Mandi? Sis? Are you okay?
She turns and looks at me and she starts to cry and she clutches at her head in pain and it immediately broke my heart, man. Million pieces, all over the floor.
Mandi Matthews: it hurts so bad, jay. Ugh, doctors say I may have a concussion.
Jayson grabs her hand to show some support. Jayson looks up and he notices that Steve's fists clench when she says that. Steve was doing everything he could not to go berserk right now.
Jayson Matthews: Hey, it's going to be okay. I don't think Steve is going to let Rob get away with this.
Mandi shakes her head. When she does she winces in pain but she wanted to make sure she got her point across.
Mandi Matthews: Violent circle.
That phrase made Steve break a bit in his stoic pose, and it made Jayson turn up his nose in confusion.
Jayson Matthews: What?
And just when I thought things could get any worse, Andrew Jacobsen comes walking in to the room and he definitely doesn't have the winning lottery numbers thats for sure. Unless he was selling tickets for the un-lucky lottery? Where one un lucky person is selected to get crapped on by all sides.
Andrew Jacobsen: Jayson, hey I need to tell you something. It's about Nighthawk.
Jayson at first didn't exactly acknowledge his presence at first, but at the mention of Coach Nighthawk, Jayson turned his head.
Andrew Jacobsen: They say it's his knee. It looks pretty bad.
Jayson Matthews: What?
Andrew Jacobsen: In his match with Pooler. Near the end, everybody heard the noise.
As Jayson is processing the situation some emt's bring a wheel chair to assist Mandi to the hospital. Jayson hugs his sister and tells her he loves her and then heads down the hall to the next trainer room.
First my sister, now Coach Nighthawk?
I don't know what to do?
Everything is starting to go wrong....
I just wish I had my best friend to talk to.
“This week I step inside the ring against none other than Warren Kane. A man whom I call friend and a man who has been missing in action for quite some time.
We open up on the face of Jayson Matthews staring back into the camera.
“Normally, I'd be all about talking about win number six and making a big deal about my winning streak and I'd like it to remain intact but this week, with this match and everything that has been going on lately that this week it just feels like its a little bit beyond winning streaks and all that stuff.”
“This week against Warren Kane it all feels different because, well I mean I thought I knew Warren Kane. But this Warren, this Warren seems different. Something was off. I just, I've tried getting ahold of him throughout the week to hang out and catch up but he keeps blowing me off and saying he is busy.
“I'm worried about you buddy.”
“At first I was super excited to see that you were back but now that you are it just seems like all these crazy things are going wrong. Your acting strange, your not returning my texts or my calls and it just seems like your not all the way there. I just want you to know that you can talk to me about anything warren, you should know that. Me, Shea, Andrew were all worried about you Warren, and we want to help you in any way we can.
Were sorry about what happened....we just didn't know how to help.
We are your friends.
He nods his face and stares into the camera with a genuine smile.
And we love you man. We just want our friend back.”
