Damn it feels good to actually be booked for a show once again.
It feels like forever since I have seen my name gracing a Sacrifice card but now that I have this moment you can rest assured that I am going to be doing everything in my power to make sure that you see my name over and over again. Truth be told when it comes to wrestling I am not the star in my family. I am one who prefers to be on the outskirts. One who prefers to be managing his wife and watching her rise up through the Diamonds division in the company.
Wrestling has never really been my strong point but for my wife I made a promise that I would do everything in my power to get to where I need to be. I will do my best to showcase that I give a damn about this sport and I don’t want people to think that I am simply living off of my wife.
When people see me they automatically assume that I am taking Kate for granted. That I am living off of her name and it’s like I want the Warren side of me to just perish but it’s not about that all. Yes I know I wrestle under the name of Teddy Steele, and Steele happens to be my wife’s Maiden name. It’s not that I am a bitch despite everyone always having this claim that I am one going back to the likes of Adam Knite but it’s because I love my wife so much. I want to be supportive of her, and her name has some serious history to it.
The Warrens as of right now really doesn’t, and being a Steele just makes it easier to be attached to my lovely wife. But I can sit here all day and talk about my wife but truthfully this isn’t about her. This is about me, and right now I have a huge match in front of me on Sacrifice. I get to step into the ring with one of the very best that IWF has to offer. I get to face none other than Ryan Shane.
Ryan Shane at one point was one of the most dominating champions ever to step foot into an IWF ring. When I think of Ryan Shane I immediately think of what he did with the Man of Steel Championship. He had a reign that lasted over 126 days and that in itself is just amazing. That spans about four months.
So about a third of the year he was one of the most dominating men to beat. He beat down all of the challengers that came in his way. He turned them all back and proved to be such a fighting warrior in all of IWF.
That in itself is very impressive Ryan and I respect you a lot for it. I will march forward to that ring knowing that I am practically outclassed in every single form and way.
I know that when it comes to wrestling you are by far better than me at this craft and have way more experience when it comes to taking care of business. But I also know in watching my wife wrestle who is practically one of the smallest Diamonds on the entire roster.
I shouldn’t let what I think are handicaps be my crutches. Just because you have the experience factor doesn’t necessarily mean you are going to beat me because as we know on any given night anybody can beat anybody. The only thing I can afford to do is go out there to my ring and give you the absolute fight of your life.
You can make fun of me as much as you want. You can assume this is going to be a walk in the park but if there’s one thing that I am after it’s showing not just you but the entire world that Teddy is taking this seriously. For the first time in my life I am finally ready to be the wrestler that I am destined to be, and I am willing to work hard in order to get there.
As great as you are how does it feel to know that your reign ended to the likes of a woman Addisyn Starr?! How does it feel knowing you got beat by a chick?!
Sure it may have been Steel o Buffington that really got the job done but according to the history books, according to the title records you got yourself beaten by a chick. That must feel really embarrassing to know that such a dominating win came to an end because you couldn’t get over the hump of a chick.
Damn it must suck to be you Ryan.
Ryan I am going to capitalize on this opportunity. By beating you I am hoping I can jump start my career and ascend fast up the roster. This is the time where the joke well be the one that everyone is talking about making the next step.
The man who was considered trash becomes IWF’s newest golden treasure. I am hungry to wrestle, hungry for this opportunity, and with everything inside of me I am looking to get the job done.
So on Sacrifice I have no choice but to win. I may not be the challenge you been wanting but you damn sure are going to get a fight out of me. Perhaps the biggest fight of my entire life but it’s fine. I am cool with that.
I don’t have to have the better career, I just need to be better than you on one single night and that’s what I intend to do. Consider yourself about to get knocked out courtesy of one Sexy Teddy. See you in the ring chump!

{Teddy could only sigh in return as he was training as hard as he could in his indoor gym. Standing beside him was none other than Shea O Hara. Teddy let the sweat drop down his forehead as he looked at Shea.}
Teddy: Do I really have to go through this?! Look I know you are helping me train but me doing squats?! That’s more for a woman don’t you think?!
Shea: Look don’t you want your wife to be proud of you?! I know it may not really suit you but this about getting you ready for your big match and on top of that you owe it to Kate. Mother’s Day is coming up and what do you think your wife would say if you showed her that you were getting more toned up down there. She would love you for that, and she would love me for being the best friend that put her husband through the ringer.
Teddy: Look I appreciate everything Shea but this is just making me look like a Bitch! Between everything Adam said about me I rather those things not be true.
Shea: I hate to break it to you but you put yourself in that position when you took her surname.
Teddy: IT’S JUST A WRESTLING NAME! A RING NAME! Isn’t that how this works I just use a cool name stick with it and go from there?!
Shea: Yeah but that’s how the fans are going to identify with you. You shouldn’t hate it though I personally think it’s adorable. Maybe you should legally change your name to Steele. That might make her really proud. Would let her know it’s thoughtful that she’s important and could be an awesome Mother’s Day gift.
Teddy: There’s other things we could do. You know that new Paramore album just came out. Maybe I can buy that for her, or maybe do something traditional like take her out to eat or something along those lines. I just don’t want to do something so drastic, something I may regret later. I don’t want her first Mother’s Day to be a bad one either!
Shea: More of a reason to just listen to me. It’s not like I am steering you in the wrong direction. Besides it could also help with your wrestling career. It could bring IWF some publicity and you could have all the Diamonds at your feet making your wife really happy to have you.
Teddy: And how so?!
Shea: How many guys do you know would actually use their wife’s surnames?! On that principle alone the company might book you more. You might get angry guys in the locker room willing to beat you up and hence more appearances on the shows.
Teddy: I don’t want people to hurt me though! I just want to be a better wrestler!
Shea: Or the more reason to do so! Just listen to me Teddy. You listen to me and I bet you will see yourself on more shows.
Teddy just shrugs his shoulders looking back at Shea.
Teddy: Fine, I will start listening to you more but don’t make me regret it.
Shea: Trust me you definitely won’t.
