Beginning or The End?
We see Stephen Kingsley laying on his floor in his living room. He is shirtless and he only has on a pair of black shorts. He has some time to recover from Lineage. He is staring up at the ceiling.
Stephen: July was the month from hell! I don’t think I ever had a month like this in prison. I lost a beautiful Sheila. The last time I seen A Girl Has No Name, she said some hurtful words. She wanted Infamous to take me out. She wanted me to be a man and say that Steve is my son. She is like everyone else and is getting hooked into that story of Debra’s. How can anyone believe a word that comes out of Debra’s mouth? She will do anything to get her way. My sister disowns me and my mom is pissed off at me because I allowed Nicole to stay here in the United States. She blames me for getting Nicole hooked up with Cyrus. Criminal Intent did not win the IWF Tag Team Championships and to top off everything Cyrus turns his back on me.
He stands up and goes to the window and looks out. He turns and faces the camera.
Stephen: There are wrestlers who think my career ended at Lineage. If you had asked me a couple of days ago, I would be in the mindset to agree with you. So what would make me change my mind? Do you think I would allow Rob Diamond and Spike Kane to say that they ended my career? If you think that I would allow Infamous the pleasure of ending my career, then you are as dumb as they look.
I have a smirk on my face.
There was a question that stuck in my mind. Has my career ended or is it just beginning? Now I know what all the fans of IWF would say to that question…..it’s dead. I am so glad that I don’t trust the fans. Fans and Infamous are alike, they are both dumb.
The scene opens and we see Stephen watching the ending of the Lineage Prison Match where Cyrus and Nicole had turned on him. He pause the video. He was wearing khaki jeans and was shirtless. He was in his office sitting at his desk.
Stephen: This week is the beginning of my career. Everyone was saying that IWF was a new start. Cyrus doesn’t think I have forgotten about you. I have some unfinished business with you and you are damn lucky that you are barred from ringside this week.
Stephen has a smirk on his face and is rubbing his hands together.
Stephen: I have been waiting for this day to come. Every time I seen you announcing I knew this day will come. How much did you pay the doctor to give you a medical release? You are a confused little man. So I know there had to be some money passing between you and the doctor. I have no problem with that Trent. In fact I was wondering how long it was going to take you.
I moved closer to the camera.
Does Ashlie know about the other lady? You probably keeping her a secret like you did about getting back into the ring. You said that I was married to a blonde. Your conscience must be catching up with you Trent. You are confusing your other affair and you bought it out on national Television. You see Trent I never marry. I was seeing A Girl Has No Name and there were talk but marriage never happened. So Ashlie was upset about you getting back into the ring. How upset will she be when she finds out about the extra affair that you are having? You know Trent if something was to happen to you, I would be glad to take care of Ashlie for you. She would know what a true man is like and not a midget like you.
I backed away from the camera.
You are running scare. I saw it in your eyes and could hear it in your voice. Who were you trying to convince when you said that you were not afraid of me? How many times did you repeat that statement? You were trying to convince yourself. You know damn well what I can do. You know that the possibility of me putting you on the sidelines for good is so real that you are afraid of your safety. Go ahead and make up excuses about what almost ended your life. You know deep in your mind what almost ended your life and you even mentioned it in your promo. You know that if I hit my finisher that you might not get a third chance at wrestling. You might not ever see your son playing superior football again. You are thinking about those things and that is why you hopped on your plane and go watch your son. So once again I ask who were you trying to convince that you are not afraid of me. Trent you sure in hell did not convince me. Your actions are speaking louder than your words little man.
Stephen shrugs his shoulders and once again approaches the camera.
Why would you tell me everything that you have done? It has nothing to do with this match. You had done those things before the March 2013 match and look what happened. I can name you one thing that I have done and that is put you on the sidelines for months. To me Trent, that is more impressive then you being a Former World Champion, a Hall of Famer, and a Triple Crown winner. That looks nice on your resume, but I can say that I put a Former World Champion, a Hall of Famer and a Triple Crown winner on the sidelines and you know that I can do it again and that is why you are scared of me.
Once again he moves away from the camera.
You were safer as a commenter. You said that you fell asleep during my matches. You see Trent you should feel right at home when I take you out and your eyes closes but there will be one thing different. You will not wake up on your own. You will need help waking up after the match is done. So all of that power stuff you talked about, does not mean one damn thing to me and it will not help you inside the Cobo Arena this Monday night. Don’t make any plans further then Monday night because you just have to cancel them.
The scene opens in a Doctor’s office. Stephen is waiting in the waiting room. He looks around the room and then at his watch as if he is waiting on someone.
Stephen: Where the hell is she?
A mother with a small kid heard Stephen swearing and covers her son’s ears with her hands and gave Stephen a dirty look. Stephen shrugs his shoulders.
Stephen: I should have known that bi…..
Stephen stops in mid-sentence and looks over at the mother who is looking over at him and her eyes had red in them.
Stephen: I should have known that she would not show up.
Stephen stands up and walks out of the waiting room and into a hallway. He leans against the wall.
Stephen: You can’t tell me that kid does not say anything bad. He looks like a fan of Trent Helms. The kid looked so spaced out.
Stephen looks at his watch once again and he throws up his hands in disgust.
Stephen: She is not going to bring Steve. She knows that if this test is done, that she will not have anything to hold against me.
The door to the office opens and a nurse sticks her head out and tells Stephen that the doctor is ready for him. He walks into the office and walks past the waiting room where the mother with the son just glares at him.
Stephen: I just can’t do anything right among the ladies this month.
Nurse: What did you say Mr. Kingsley?
Stephen: Nothing.
They finally came to a door and the nurse leads Stephen into the room where Stephen hops on the bed. The nurse tells Stephen that the doctor will see him shortly as she leaves the room and closes the door.
Stephen: I know how long shortly means to a doctor.
About 15 minutes has past and the door opens and the doctor walks in with his assistant.
Doctor: Just got off the phone with Mrs. Kingsley and she made an appointment in the next couple of days.
Stephen was fuming!
Stephen: Mrs. Kingsley! I am not married. Are you related to Trent Helms?
Stephen did not even notice that the assistant had already stuck him with a needle and drew blood from him.
Doctor: I talked to a Debra Kingsley and she said she would bring Steve Kingsley in so that she could prove to her husband that it is his child.
Stephen: That BITCH!
Doctor: Mr. Kingsley that kind of language is not allowed in this office. You need to calm down or I have security escort you out of here.
Stephen: Security….pfft….probably the same size of Trent Helms.
Stephen stands up and walks out of the office and down the hallway. He exits the Doctor’s office and the scene fades out.
