Background Music: The Show Must Go On - Queen
She watched it all unfold from the back, even as Spike dropped Warren through the table she felt her heart all a flutter, she was nervous scared for him, for them both.
The God of Steel would find her in his dressing room sat, just looking at him, her expression neutral for the time being.
There were no words exchanged there didnât need be. Much to his annoyance she was here at his most angry, his most annoyed , her form slipping towards him to put hands on either side of his face.
Still no words, those eyes looking at him the agonizing wordlessness replaced by a conversation that didnât need to be had, words didnât need to be spoken.
âDo what you gotta do.â
Thatâs all he said nodding as Pan kissed his forehead and muttered.
âIâll see you at home.â
It wasnât a question, Pan had learned perhaps quickly maybe too quickly that she had found a place in Spikeâs world and she wasnât about to squirrel and hide away no matter what, even as she stood at the curtain eyes closed and one hand curled into a fist she could already see Spike in the car , in the dojo, sinking further into the Abyss.
A storm was coming, and she had to weather it. Fire, heat and pressure.
It was later that night when she came home, sheâd made a small stop to give some music notes out but she found him, curled up just staring at a wall.
She could almost hear the crying, the sobbing even As her hands laid on him and muscles twitched in half remembered responses, eyes looking up at her as Pan looked down at him and then just pulled him into her.
She felt his heart beta on her even as tears touched at her skin and she comforted him, a hand in his hair as she crouched lower head against his as she made little quiet âshhâ sound, again no words.
She planted a little kiss on him just on his forehead as she finally spoke, breathing a soft sigh and hands on his.
âItâs ok Spike, itâs okâ
Spike shook his head in denial of her words and muttered something inaudible, months, years of that little voice driving him to another breaking point.
Pan made him look at her right after that and she said with a tone of fierce passion breaking her calm.
âNoâŚYou donât do that, donât you dare do that he wants this Spike, he needs this. You both do. it is not for shit, look at meâ
There was moment where he was trying to avoid her eyes even as he was trying to push down the anger at her sudden explosion and Pan said it again with soft If still angry tone.
âYou owe this to yourself, to him to me to her, you see this through Michael, you see this through ..I am not leaving your side Iâm not leaving your side.. Iâm with you every step Iron and Steel, All will be well , right?â
Maybe it was her tone, maybe It was her hands, maybe it was the soft rolling heart beat, he didnât know really he couldnât put his finger on it, but she had somehow found him in his most vulnerable his most despicable.
And sheâd crawled in, slithered even. She hadnât meant to, she hadnât even tried, which was perhaps the really scary thing.
Either way he kissed her, and she kissed back.. wrapping herself around him, in the middle of a ring where they had both cried, bled and sweated. Shared so much of each other, shared so little learned taught this wasnât a relationship of convenience anymore, it was something deeper.
Something Eternal perhaps?
The Next Day
Red hair, sweat and rock music fill the ring, as Shea OâHara runs the ropes, her attention caught a hoodie wearing blue haired figure carrying a bag, just smiling as she drops the bag and spoke.
âRoom for one more?â
After the training session the two of them sat in a small diner, Shea looking at her for a minute even as Pan smirked and spoke.
âOut with it Shea, or weâll be thinking how to bridge the gap.â
Shea rubbed the back of her own head and the Irish tones leaked out with her usual sing song quality.
âYou anâ Spike, are you?â
Pan sighed at the question just bit , quietly and just looked at Shea, with a little smile before she changed the subject.
âIâve been dropped into the center of a crazy, crazy world Shea, but I know where I stand nobody gonna change my mind on that, but this thing with Warren?â
Pan just shook her head and she wasnât looking at Shea quietly tense up as she spoke.
â I dunno part of me thinks if Iâd been involved earlier, if Maybe I could just go back a few steps, I could have said something, but I didnât know⌠I just wish there was something I could doâŚfor both of them, But I can only choose one. And I already chose.â
Pan rubbed her eyes and looked up at Shea who was strangely quiet even as Pan smirked and reached up to poke a finger at the tip of her nose.
âBoopâ
Shae blinked and said with a quietly exasperated tone at that, understanding in her eyes.
âYouâre a brave woman. Braver than me.â
Pan frowned at that and spoke with that wry smirk of hers.
âShea OâHara, you know better than that. Chin up, All will be well.â
Itâs amazing how often Pan said those words, but she said with such conviction that you couldnât help but feel something inside you rise up, something dangerous.

Background Music: Kryptonite â Three Doors Down.
We fade in to Pandora, stretched out as the camera gazes down on her, a full body shot as she lays in grass, blue contrasting to green colors mashed against the eyes as Rainbow colored lips curved into a smile, she gives a little finger wave.
âHowdy.â
She blows a breath and slowly sits up eyes settled on the camera as she spoke.
âAnd so we roll on, Iâve got a busy night coming up, first I get to sign with Paige, and well weâll see what sort of unpleasant surprises that might bring. Iâm not foolish enough to think that somewhere somehow people might not get involved one way or another, but I could be surprised!â
Pan sways on the spot to that inaudible beat once again as she started to chuckle.
âBut of course the road to that special night grows onwards, where me and my fellow Belt challenger, Shea Oâ Hara take on the Starcrossâd pair of Rowan and Charity Crowne.â
Pan smirks a little bit.
âA lot has been done and said as of recent and me and Shea are right now, on top of the world and both on direct paths to clash with, no matter what you think the two most Dominant champions next to Spike Kane, weâve both been on fire weâve both never looked back since the road started and I have every reason in the world to work with Shae, I have every reason In the world to dance this dance. To drop those beats.â
Pan shook her head and smirks.
âCharity Crowne, winning the Diamonds in the Rough must seem like the worst thing to have happened to you, because well? Now youâre stuck in that situation. Weight of the world on your shoulders and having to be thrown into this? It must seem so unfair.â
Pan blew a long breath with a raise of her brows.
âItâs not going to get any easier, Charity, all your natural advantages, all the perfection In the world could not possibly prepare you for whatâs about to go down, I already said how special you arenât talented? Sure. But right now? You have gotten yourself into a hole, and The IWF is making you play her game, and once again you have to work with her, I almost feel sorry for you kiddo.â
A long pause and the little smile grows.
âAlmost, but not quite, but of course I have to address the Abyss Dweller in the room donât I?â
Pan rubs her neck and breathes a long sigh.
âYou know Row Row? Wolf of the abyss you are, I almost figured you be above petty actions, but then I look at theis whole thing you have going with Charity and I realize you are in fact very petty, very capricious and the perfect partner for Charity Crowne.â
Pan chuckles as she rubs her hands together.
âLook out, we got a badass over here, willing to hurt people because she feels like it, because it suits her mood a dis jointed world that, youâll pardon me if it all seems soâŚfamiliar , because it does Iâll dance the Spiral you lay before me Row Row, and I;âll dance it harder than youâŚAnd Iâll blow out the other side so hard I will glow like the rising of a angry sun!â
Pan shook her head.
âNo The Red and Blue are coming for you, theyâre coming for both of you. You are the perfect dance the perfect set up, the fire you bring only serves to make us stronger, betterâ
Pan snorts.
âSo, when the Beat drops , and the crowd sways, and all you see is the rising of a new sun that defies your every breath Rowan, Charity I want you to remember that in the end, you still have to face her.â
Pan winks with a childrin, gleeful grin
âSee you on the dance floor.â
