She’s looking at the ceiling, eyes gazing upwards in the Dojo and home they now share, blue hair loose as she frowns a little, mind spinning a million miles an hour as she tries to put all this together and she mutters to herself.
“All will be Well.”
The door opens and she’s up on her feet even as he comes rolling through the door, the devil was chasing him, she saw through it, the fear , the e doubt the anger, even the blood that touched his face as she moved into sight and stayed in his way, he tried to walk around her, left then right and she remained, Spike growled at her dangerously.
Then she held the belt up in her hand and moved towards the ring, his eyes on her, on it what she held crawling into the ring slowly unzipping her hoodie to stake off to expose the shirt that lay underneath, tossing it to one side even his expression changed anger gave way to curiosity even as he moved to the ringside as he gazed at the Blue and red, diamond in the middle of her chest as she lay the belt right in front of herself and sat down to look at him.
“It’s supposed to stand for Hope.”
He was in the ring and in her face, quicker than she could blink and hands scooped forwards faster than he could as he paused at her, she didn’t flinch, she just looked at him and said quietly evenly.
“You didn’t have to do that to Tristan”
Spike’s face contoured at her as she sat there ace to face, eyes staring at him as he went to speak and she said it firmly, not even hurt, just explaining.
“You think I’d sit here and let you destroy yourself? You think breaking Tristan does –anything- but make him angrier? Stronger? you’re feeding your own reflection and you don’t even know it.”
Spike went to speak again and Pan held up a hand.
“I’m not finished. Sit your ass down.”
Blink blink, that anger subsided as he slowly sat down and looked at her like she’d grown a second
head and she laid the belt in the middle of them and she sighs.
“This isn’t about this, it never was, every act of rage, of callousness of twisting backstabbing you’ve ever done, that’s what it’ s about, about everything you ever were to Warren, to Xander.”
Spike started to speak now.
“Please, Pandora don’t...”
She shook her head and leaned forwards on all fours towards him, in a weird reversal it was now him backing up from her as she laid truth after truth on him, that ache welling up alongside the voices that told him to slap her down, but he found himself unable.
“No, you crossed a line tonight, you did nobody else and you did it knowing what might come, you did it thinking I wasn’t watching you did it thinking I supported , but this is not about the Belt this is just an excuse for Warren, he doesn’t care where he ends up, he just wants to make sure that belt isn’t in your hands any more so he can crush you, destroy you, you ‘ve said too often that this belt is all you have left. What About Warren? He’s yours too.”
Spike opened his mouth again and Pan stomped a foot to shut him up as she said again.
“What about me?”
Low blow, but in that moment he knew she had him zeroed, she had tried so hard not to use the knife even as she knelt down , hands-on his cheeks and muttered.
“How can I help you if you won’t let me?. You’re gonna go to war over your on, because neither of you have accepted that bad thigs happen for no good reason at all. Looking for someone to blame, someone to point the finger at and say ‘it’s your fault’.”
She huffs with a wry sigh.
“It’s Bullshit.”
Spike tried to look away again but Pan moved to follow his eyes and shook her head.
“You’re worth it.”
Spike looked at her with doubt filled eyes and she said gently.
“You have to beat him.”
That got a confused look as Pan shook her head and said firmly.
“You have to beat him and you have to forgive him, forgive yourself, hell even if you lose forgive yourself Spike, you can’t keep carrying this weight, you can’t.”
She actually started to tear up and pulled him in real tight ,which given everything he’d prepared himself for knocked the wind out of his sails even more as she muttered.
“I’m not gonna let you go down like that.”
Spike blinked as he looked at her in dumbfound shock as that truth she hadn’t quite dropped yet was sinking in, she was dancing around it, but the air was thick with the intensity and Pan sighed and muttered gently.
“I told you already I’m going nowhere.”
Spike gently eased her back, taking in the blue hair and the Superman shirt, the workout leggings and bared feet as she was wiping her eyes, having both scolded him and poured her heart out like a faucet.
“Me Either Pandora.”
The silence grew one more between them even As Pan actually slapped his arm a bit with a frown and she then sighed with a lazy smile.
“You’re lucky I love you Michael or I’d kick your ass.”
Now it was Spike’s turn to state dumbfounded as Pandora rolled out the ring to leave him with that belt and a set of very distracting thoughts, work was calling.

“When I first got here, I wasn’t ready for a lot of things, I wasn’t really ready for the limelight I wasn’t ready for all my dreams I wasn’t really ready for the dance.”
We Fade in to Pandora, rocking her usual attire little finger wave too the camera again with a sly smile.
“But This whole thing? It’ s molded me, and the last few weeks? They’ve been a Crucible, every battle fought has forged me, tempered me, prepared me for the coming dance, for the tune that must be sung the same things that make a diamond have forged me into something stronger than Iron.”
She gives a wry grin and flicks her hair loose with playful ‘super’ pose.
“I’m your Steel Maiden now, and I go into Night of the Immortals, to face one of the most dominant woman in the game, arguably the most dominant next to The lady holding the sister belt, her and her sister.”
Pan chuckles and shakes her head.
“That’s right Page, the lady you can’t even stand and look in the eyes to sign the dotted line fore is here, finally, we get to dance and it’s just you and me, if all pans out well, I’m not stupid though I’ve learned and watched and counted, I’ve studied I’ve listened to the words of the man who has helped raise my game higher and I’ve decided to not do the one thing you tend to do.”
Pan beams wider and spreads her arms wide.
“I’m not going to write you off, I have begged –everyone- I have faced to bring their best, I have told and listed to every soul that sees me rise that I am not going to stop, and you are no exception, my story does not end here Paige Garcia, you your Sister Alexis Caffey, Katherine Conway ..Eternity , I don’t care who gets in my way now.. I am going to –drop- them like the sickest beat , you’re just one of many other steps , gone is the silly little girl, now you have me Paige, every step is a song.. every breath a smile.”
Pan grins a bit
“What have you done recently Paige? This is the most attention you’ve had in the last what? Three months? I mean sure you’ve defended that belt cemented your legacy, but what else? I mean you strolled out and insulted the entire roster, again you painted a target on yourself and you seem surprised when you’re now surrounded by all comers it’s starting to get a bit much? I think right? Your cries for attention are starting to echo dull, of course I expect what I’m staying doesn’t matter to you, you have your plan, after all.”
Pan chuckles a bit as her eyes close with a smile. Before those intense orbs settle on the camera.
“Your days atop your Ivory Tower are coming very much to an end, I’m not askin’ any more Paige I’m telling, I’m no longer doing this just for me, as much as I’m standing atop by stepping up I give you exactly what it is you wanted, exactly what it is you’re afraid of and that’s the entire division stepping up.”
Pan grin widely and bows with a smile.
“Time to reap the whirlwind, All Hail your Steel Maiden, time to dance, time to shine, time to open up the beatbox. And lay you out on an Altar of sound, I –will- succeed, I –must- succeed because I won’t allow anything else, it’s not a fairy tale. You are just the next new beginning.”
She starts to move away from the camera and caps a salute.
“Lookin’ forwards to it, Paige see you around.”
