SINGLES MATCH
Xavier Cross vs Derek Brooks
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, the upcoming match is your opener here on Sacrifice…
{The synthesized beginning of "Remember The Name" by Fort Minor begins to play as the crowd grows silent.} YOU READYYYY!?
LET'S GO!
{The beat breaks in and the strobe lights around the arena go with said beat as the crowd begins to amp up.} "This is ten percent luck..."
{As the lyrics begin a single spotlight shines on the man known as "Greatness" before he glances over his shoulder, staring down at the ring. With a concentrated look he slowly turns and starts down to the ring as he's announced.} Alison Valance: From New York City, weighing in at 265 pounds, he is "Greatness Personified"...DEREK BROOKS!
{He holds out his arms at the end of the walkway as his name echoes throughout the arena as the fans cheer him on. He climbs the stairs and walks along the apron to the corner where he ascends and looks out to the crowd before flinging his arm in the air much to their appease. He jumps down and steps through the ropes, walking to the center, bouncing around, light as a cat despite his large frame as he gazes out to the crowd before snapping around, climbing the corner and flinging his arm in the air again as the flashbulbs go off everywhere. He jumps down and continues bouncing from one foot to the other in a graceful manner as he waits for the match to begin.} Terri Morasco: Derek had a great showing in the Joker In the Pack, then kind of went away again.
Vasco Dias: That’s all he does. It’s like there’s a big opportunity, show up...otherwise...go away with you tail between your legs.
Terri Morasco: That’s not exactly what I meant.
Vasco Dias: Whatever, he’s about to be the first Sacrifice of the avenger himself, Xavier Cross.
Alison Valance: And his opponent…
{The lights lower down, as a single spot light hits the curtain. The trumpets from 'Rebirth' by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony begin to play as Cross slowly begins to step out from behind the curtain, hood up. Hands at either side, his right hand slowly begins rising up, gesturing a gun as he points it to his head. 'Pulling the trigger', the spotlight goes out, as pyro explodes up from the stage. Cross steps out of the smoke and light show, flipping his hood back as he walks down the ramp.} Alison Valance: "....He stands at Six Feet...three inches, weighing in at Two-Hundred, and Thirty-One pounds. Xavier.......CROOOOOSSSS!"
{Climbing the steps, Cross stops at the apron wiping his shoes. He pauses for a moment grabbing onto the top rope, he spins around stretching his arms out. Turning back, he runs the apron to the turnbuckle, climbing it to the top and springboarding into the ring. Smacking his chest, he goes to one of the corners, grabbing onto the ropes he kneels down waiting for the match to begin} Terri Morasco: This new attitude of Xavier Cross has been on display over the last couple of weeks, claiming he’s going pretty much put on a crusade against the IWF and it’s Sinners.
Vasco Dias: I just hope he doesn’t end up on a Cross again.
{The two men circle the ring, tying up in the middle before Derek uses his thirty pound advantage to push Xavier back into the corner. The referee asks for a break and Derek backs up, smacking Xavier across the face before waving him in, bouncing from one foot to another. Xavier looks at Derek and steps in, the two of them again locking up, but this time Xavier uses his skills to go behind Derek, then locking him in a headlock, wrenching in on the hold before he’s backed into the ropes by Derek and sent to the far side, and upon return, Derek ducks and Xavier kicks him straight in the face, standing him up straight, and then leveling him with a Discus Elbow.} Terri Morasco: Cross’ skills haven’t diminished, that’s for sure.
Vasco Dias: His skills were never in question, merely his execution.
{Xavier lifts Derek to his feet and grabs hold of his leg, lifting him up and over with a Snap Fisherman’s Suplex, keeping hold of the leg for the first cover of the match. ONE! TWO! KICKOUT!} Terri Morasco: It’s going to take a little more than that to beat Derek Brooks in my opinion.
Vasco Dias: It’s a good thing that nobody asked for it.
{Xavier grabs hold of Derek and pulls him to his feet, but Derek breaks his grip and hits him with a few shots to the face that rock the veteran back into the corner before sending him to the opposite corner hard! Xavier stumbles out of it and Derek grabs hold of him hitting the HAPPENSTANCE!} Terri Morasco: A swinging back breaker!
Vasco Dias: And now the cover.
{Derek hooks the leg and only gets a two count!} Terri Morasco: Close call there for the man destined for greatness.
{Derek pulls Xavier up and throws him into the ropes, lifting him into the air, but Xavier hits him with a front dropkick he calls “Awake The Dragon”!} Vasco Dias: What a move by Xavier Cross!
{Xavier gets to his feet and sees Derek on a knee and charges in, connecting with a Running Kinshasa!} Terri Morasco: ECHOES OF MADNESS!!!
Vasco Dias: He hit him flush in the side of the head.
{Xavier covers Derek, hooking the leg.
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
The bell rings.} Alison Valance: Here is your winner...XAVIER...CROSS!!!
{'Rebirth' by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony plays on the arena sound system as Xavier has his arm raised.} Terri Morasco: Xavier Cross is back with a purpose here folks.
Vasco Dias: Well, maybe he means business this time around.
----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Kole Kaos vs Zasshu
----------------------------------------------------------
Terri Morasco: "This is a huge match, Kole Kaos returns to the squared circle, facing off against Zasshu the El Futuro Leyenda! This is gonna be a huge match going into the Heir to the Throne match up."
Vasco Dias: "Both men look for momentum, however, if anyone is betting against Kole Kaos, they're dumb. The guy is a freak of nature, a pure muscle machine! Zasshu is gonna be lucky to walk out on his own!"
Terri Morasco: "As history proves, size isn't everything is it Vasco. You know that more than anyone else."
Vasco Dias: "Oh...burn on me. But at least I've never been divorced."
{ The arena lights dim to a low hue as a golden spot light shines on the stage, the opening to Trivium's "Villainy Thrives" begins to play as the golden light strobes to the piano. Once the song kicks into gear Zasshu comes exploding out from the stage with a burst of pyro and cheers from the crowd.} Alison Valance: "La leyenda del futuro .... de pie a cinco pies, diez pulgadas ... pesando en ciento y noventa libras .... Zasssssshhhuuuuuuu!"
{He lands in a crouched position and looks all around before standing up and holding his fists high up over his head. Zasshu sprints down the ramp and springs off a trampoline over the top rope and front flipping before landing on his feet. From there he runs to the ropes and leaps onto the second rope in the corner and holds his fists up again over his head. } Vasco Dias: "Even the blind will admire how much of an athlete Zasshu is, but being able to be a glorified circus act doesn't equate to winning in Imperial Wrestling Federation!"
Terri Morasco: "And even a huge moron like you would think this Luchador is all flips and nothing else. Zasshu is an excellent striker, and when he gets a chance he doesn't stop coming at you."
Vasco Dias: "So he'll be your next husband?"
Terri Morasco: "Domestic violence is not a joke."
{The arena goes black as the intro for White Zombie's Blood Milk and Sky comes over the PA system. Once the drums and guitar kick in a dark green hue overtakes the arena and smoke overtakes the stage. "The siren sings a lonely song, Of all the wants and hungers, The lust of love, a brute desire, The ledge of life goes under" As Rob's voice comes over the PA Kole Kaos emerges from the smoke wearing a black with dark green trim patch-worked long hooded jacket.} Alison Valance: "The man who claims no home, he is the King of Chaos...standing at Six foot Three, weighing in at Two Hundred and Fifty Five pounds....Kole......Kaaaaooooossss."
{He slowly makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He slowly turns at the ring and heads to the stairs, he climbs the stairs and stands on the apron in the middle of the ring, he flips the hood off over his head and shrugs the jacket off throwing his arms up in a flexed crucifix pose, as he does so green pyro bursts from all four ring posts, he then makes his way into the ring staring at this opponent, or up the ramp with disgust on his face as he waits for the match to start.} Vasco Dias: "There is my man, the jackhammer of the weight room. He looks like an ancient greece statue come to light, with a bad attitude!"
Terri Morasco: "I don't know who loves Kole Kaos more, you or Kole himself."
Vasco Dias: "When you look like that, how can you not love yourself?"
Terri Morasco: "That explains why you constantly have whiskey on your breath."
{The ref rings the bell, as Kaos cracks his neck stepping forward. A look on his face as if he was a lion given a fresh snack. Never one to back down from a challenge. Zasshu steps up, the two men have a stare down. Kaos mocks the smaller competitor before shoving Zasshu who stumbles back into the corner. Laughing a bit Kaos takes the moment to taunt the luchador. Who shakes off his nerves quickly, diving roll behind Kaos, and grabs his trunks pulling him into a quick school boy roll-up} Ref: One...two...
Terri Morasco: "Zasshu was so close, catching Kaos off guard very quickly."
Vasco Dias: "All that little piss ant has done is piss off the King of Chaos!"
Terri Morasco: "Anger and Ego usually ends with defeat."
Vasco Dias: "Yeah! for Zasshu!"
{Kaos kicks out, rolling over on his shoulder, on one knee looking furious at the Lucha Libre. But Zasshu wasn't letting the momentum go to waste, charging down Chaos, he hits a dropkick to the kneeling Kaos, sending him backward stumbling through the ropes. Kaos hits the arena floor hard, trying to gather himself. Zasshu shakes his hands getting the crowd behind him, pointing at Kaos, Zasshu runs to the opposite ring ropes getting some momentum before suicide diving through the middle rope, crashing into Kaos.} Terri Morasco: "Zasshu with the quick offense. Never letting Kaos take a breath! He's taken his game to a whole new level! Expected of a future legend!"
Vasco Dias: "That is the kind of game you have to bring when facing Kole Kaos, anyone can be a future legend. But Kaos, he IS a legend!"
{Zasshu pops to his feet, the crowd completely on his side. Bending over he tries to get Kaos to his feet, but Kaos sends a hard right to the stomach of Zasshu, sending him staggering back. Kaos shakes the cobwebs off, as he sends another hard right, this time to the skull of Zasshu. Grabbing the lucha by the back of the mask. Kaos toys with him for a moment, shouting in his face before sending him flying into the ring post. But Zasshu grabs the post, using the momentum to swing around and slide into the ring. He kips up to his feet, before motioning for Kaos to come get some.} Vasco Dias: "Bugs can be annoying to squash. But Kaos was ready to smash him against the ring post!"
Terri Morasco: "Zasshu using his agility to avoid what could have been a severe concussion. Now he's mocking Kole!"
Vasco Dias: "It's gonna be hell to pay when Kaos gets his hands on Zasshu."
{Kaos slowly makes his way up the ring steps, stepping into the ring he eyes the luchador. Charging towards him, Kaos swings and misses with a huge clothesline, as he turns around. Zasshu has ran past, springboarded off the middle rope, and attempts a hurricarana. But Kaos uses his power to stop the rotation, catching Zasshu in the air. Powerless, Zasshu cannot stop Kaos who charges into the corner throwing the Lucha into the corner with a vicious powerbomb. Kaos steps back clapping his hands together, smirking at the damage inflicted.} Vasco Dias: "Goodnight folks. Zasshu is broken in half. It's easy to run around and clip, but Kaos is a monster, once he gets a hold of you it's over."
Terri Morasco: "Such vicious intend by Kole Kaos, this level of intensity is what could possible crown him Heir to the Throne one day."
{Kaos kneels down next to his opponent, lifting the masked man up, before sending his head back down with a hard left-hand fist. Kaos begins repeating this moment before he's eventually pulled off by the ref. Kaos argues with the ref for a moment, before raising his hands in the air a smirk on his face. Moving the ref gently to the side. Kaos mocks his opponent once more, before dropping a knee onto the head of Zasshu.} Vasco Dias: "Atta boy! Crush him Kole! Bust open that stupid mask!"
Terri Morasco: "Even Kole Kaos wouldn't be so awful as to spoil a luchador tradition."
Vasco Dias: "When you're the King of Chaos, tradition is what you decide! And with that knee, the King has decided to try to crack open the piss ant's skull!"
{Lifting his opponent back to his feet. Kaos pushes Zasshu backward into the ring ropes, aiming for a Kaosbuster. But Zasshu gets more air than Kaos anticipated, leapfrogging over Kaos, Kole Kaos turns around right into a pele kick that sends him to stagger back into the ropes, getting both arms tangled in the top and middle rope. Zasshu staggers holding his head, taking a lot of damage. But the babyface pulls through, moving forward he hits a vicious knife edge chop across Kole Kaos's chest. Another...another...another... Zasshu is on a roll!} Vasco Dias: "Not fair! Kaos is tangled in the ropes. The ref needs to get in and seperate these two!"
Terri Morasco: "We both know these are the risks when you step into the ring. If it was reversed rolls, Kaos would take full advantage!"
Vasco Dias: "He's the King of Chaos. That's his god given right!"
{Kaos is fighting with the ropes, trying to escape, his chest red from the chops. Zasshu steps back charging forward. Kaos uses his raw power to break out of the ring rope trap, catching Kaos mid-air, and hitting a picture perfect Kaosbuster. The impact rattles the ring. As Kaos pops back to his feet, flexing his muscles as the crowd begins to reign down boos upon him. Sending a hard kick into the side of the ribs, flipping Zasshu over in one fluid motion. Kaos puts his boot in between the shoulder blade of the Luchador.} Terri Morasco: "Just how strong is Kole Kaos? I've never seen someone do that when tangled in the ring ropes."
Vasco Dias: "It's like watching poetry. That spinebuster is the best in the business!"
Terri Morasco: "Look at him, he's gonna try to seperate Zasshu's shoulder!"
Vasco Dias: "The King of Chaos is teaching this runt a lesson!"
{Putting more and more pressure on it, Kaos flexes once more, every vein looking like it's nearly about to pop. He steps back for a moment before sending a hard kick to the smaller opponents armpit. Kaos makes a throat-slitting motion, before grabbing Zasshu's arm, locking in the Crossface of Kaos. Zasshu begins to tap almost immediately. But Kaos holds onto the submission even after the ref rings the bell, until he security hits the ring to pull him off. Kaos rolls off the man, standing up, holding his hands in the air smirking at what he has done. The fans begin to boo him relentlessly.} Vasco Dias: "Zasshu taps. Long live the King of Chaos!"
Terri Morasco: "Great showing by Zasshu, but Kole Kaos was just too much to handle this time around."
Vasco Dias: "These idiot fans need to recognize the greatness that is Kole Kaos!"

SEGMENT
”Destiny’s Calling”
----------------------------------------------------------
"IT'S AN OMEN!"
{The Lights Darken as the Into of "OMEN" start to play, whilst the beat picks up Devlin emerges from the crowd wearing his jacket and the Guy Fawkes mask. The Destiny Dealer steps up on the guard railing slowly as he slips off the mask and opens up the hoodie to reveal the Man of Steel title, pulling the Hood open as if here Superman, he then slides under the bottom rope to salute at the crowd waving his hands to the music as if conducting an orchestra and then produces a microphone} Devlin Raine: "Listen to me, I got something to say! HOW You doing Manchester?!"
{Devlin pauses just a moment to listen to the crowd response before wobbling a hand as if to say 'not bad' before he lifts the microphone} Devlin Raine: "I'm out here to talk about what we saw go down last week, seems me and Ryan Shane have a Failure to communicate, I said in no simple terms that if he lost he wasn't getting a shot, but then Shane you went and did what you did. So I could let it slide but seeing as you want to rumble so bad you'll jump a guy and lay the hurt on him...What's say I give you...exactly what you want, You , Me, Bloody Assizes - Man of Steel Title on the line - Man of Steel Match. What do ya say?! DESTINY IS CALLING SHANE!"
{Devlin Raine looks up the ramp awaiting for the appearance of Ryan Shane. After a few moments and no sign of Shane, he begins to look around in case Shane is planning a sneak attack.} Ryan Shane: Up here Devlin…
{The voice of Shane is heard, and he appears on the tron above the ramp.} Ryan Shane: I was going to come down there and accept your challenge in person. I just don't trust myself. Just looking and your cocky face makes me want to punch you.
{The crowd boos, letting Shane know what they think of that comment } Ryan Shane: You're making a huge mistake kid. Challenging me is the last thing you should be doing. You should be counting your blessings.
{Devlin stares up at Shane letting him know he isn't afraid, and he won't back down.} Ryan Shane: You couldn't help yourself though, could you? So Bloody Assizes it is. Don't get used to being Man of Steel champion Raine, because that title is leaving with me!

SINGLES MATCH
John Tolly vs Trent Helms
----------------------------------------------------------
{John Tolly defeats Trent Helms via pin fall after a roll up into a Small Package.} ----------------------------------------------------------
TAG TEAM MATCH
Dre Cutler & Ulf Hednir vs The Lost Boys
----------------------------------------------------------
{The opening guitar introduction to "Raise Your Horns" by Amon Amarth begins to play through the speakers in the arena, and the crowd erupts into a cheer; "Victory!" as the opening of the vocals comes to the speakers, Ulf Hednir comes from behind the curtains with his drinking horn held high into the air leading the crowd to cheer further for him. He walks to the side of the stage and gestures for the crowd to get louder--he is not disappointed, and salutes the crowd by raising the drinking horn to the crowd following it with a gulp; he salutes them one more time before walking toward the ring with a smile on his face. He walks close by the ramp to use his free hand to shake hands with many of the fans. When reaching the bottom of the ramp, he walks around to the time keeper's table and places the drinking horn in a holder fastened to his belt, in order for him to remove his cloak and place it with the time keeper. He retrieves his drinking horn from his belt again and holds it to the sky, yelling "SkĂĄl!" to the crowd, who chant it with him before downing the remainder of the beverage residing in the drinking horn. He wraps something in his cloak and then folds his cloak up. He then places his drinking horn down on his cloak, and slides under the bottom rope to get into the ring. He is quick to his feet, waiting for the match to begin.} Terri Morasco: Ulf Hednir is out here, and he is looking to recover after his defeat last week.
Vasco Dias: And he has to recover by earning a victory for the same person who beat him last week.
{"Die This Way" by Hopsin hits the speaker system. The crowd buzzes in anticipation as the bass from the song rattles through their chests. The curtain brushes aside and Dre Cutler hops onto the stage, squatting down with his elbows on his thighs as he examines the crowd, a smile on his face. He stands up, head bobbing to the music, and kisses index and middle fingers and points them to the heavens above. He bounces towards the ring and slides under the bottom rope. He makes his way to a neutral corner and does some quick stretches as he waits for the match to start.} Vasco Dias: And here’s Dre Cutler, the man who beat Ulf Hednir last week.
Terri Morasco: I am curious how these two are going to coexist. You can’t expect Ulf Hednir to be too pleased with his loss!
{The arena darkens and the lights flicker as the intro to “Stick to Your Guns” by the Sick Puppies plays. As the song kicks into gear (00:20) Sam Braxton and Dean Coulter appear on the stage, in their dark hooded jackets. Sam crouches down, one hand resting on the ground, the other on his thigh and his fierce and determined eyes locked on the waiting ring/opponents. Meanwhile Dean stands above him, arms crossed above his chest and looking from one side of the crowd to the other with an unimpressed expression. (00:31) “It’s a waste of time to try and please everyone one around. You can’t believe the words you hear that try to bring you down. (You can’t change, what you can’t change) So don’t even try.” (00:44) Sam rises to his feet with an aggressive flourish and with a mutual nod of determination the Lost Boys march down the ramp together, spurning any and crowd members along the way an motioning to their opponents already in the ring. (00:45) “So burn all of the pages to erase the part of you. That ever thought you could never be who you wanted to. (You can’t change, what you can’t change) So don’t even try.” (00:58) Sam bounds onto the apron and then over the ropes into the ring, ascending a nearby turnbuckle, pointing out to the crowd. Dean follows closely behind, ascending to the apron and again looking out to the crowd with a condescending shake of his head. (01:02) “You’re not innocent now. Cause your whole world is inside out. No don’t give up what you believe in, this time there’s no sleep until you die. So pray to your god (But you know better, know you better) Stick to your guns. Cause you’re on your own.” (01:29) Sam backflips off of the turnbuckle and once again assumes his crouching position, this time with Dean standing above him arms outstretched as the lights return to normal and the music dies down.} Vasco Dias: The Lost Boys are here, and I have to give them the edge in this one!
Terri Morasco: I can’t disagree with you there as they are a team, and I still feel the animosity may be present between Dre Cutler and Ulf Hednir. They may have both said that they are willing to work together, but you don’t lose to someone and always let it go!
{Both of the participating teams talk amongst themselves before the bell sounds-- Dre Cutler says something to Ulf Hednir, and Ulf shrugs his shoulders before stepping out onto the apron; because of this response, The Lost Boys share a few words with each other before Dean Coulter steps out onto the apron. Dre and Sam begin to circle the ring; Sam snaps forward, causing Dre to flinch back a step-- Sam watches momentarily while Dre regains his footing, and Sam charges forward aiming for a clothesline! Dre ducks underneath it, and charges in the opposite direction; both of them bounce off the ropes and charge toward each other-- coming close to a collision in the middle of the ring, Dre is able to sidestep, and roll Sam up into a schoolboy: One! ….. Tw--- Sam rolls backward out of the cover, and is immediately up to his knees while Dre is still on his feet, although slightly off balance from pushing his weight on Sam trying to get the early pin.} Vasco Dias: Nice roll up by Dre Cutler.
Terri Morasco: A quick kick out, but Dre Cutler showing some finesse.
{With Sam still on his knees, Dre lunges forward trying to connect with a superkick; Sam narrowly dodges it by moving his head, but before Dre can lower his leg, Sam has a hold of it and is able to stand back up-- Dre leaps up going for an enzuigiri; Sam is able to duck under it, as Dre lands on the mat face down; Sam, still holding Dre’s leg, lifts him up and slams his knee down hard onto the mat! He grabs Dre by the leg and drags him back to The Lost Boys corner, tagging in Dean; while Dean is entering the ring, Sam picks Dre up, and holds him to face them-- The Lost Boys connect with a double dropkick! Sam rolls out of the ring, and Dean forces Dre back to his feet: Dean puts Dre into a front headlock before putting his arm over his back takes Dre over with a snap suplex. Dre tries to roll through, throughout the pain to his back, but Dean is quick to his feet and grabs Dre by the head to keep him away from his corner while Ulf is slamming on his own corner to motivate Dre to get offense in.} Terri Morasco: Dre Cutler looks to be in trouble.
Vasco Dias: It’s that teamwork by The Lost Boys; they have trapped Dre, the smaller man, and are just picking him apart.
{Dean leans down to pick Dre up; as he is getting Dre to his feet, Dre drops down pulling Dean with him into a jawbreaker! Dre gets up with his own strength, as Dean seems dazed backing into his own corner-- Sam tags himself in-- Dre dives in to connect with a hard elbow to Dean’s head pushing him further into the corner; Sam catches Dre off guard with a high kick over the top rope to his head, and it sends him back a couple paces; Sam leaps to the top rope and springs off of it connecting with a crossbody! Dean has rolled out onto the apron and is bringing himself to his feet. Dre uses Sam’s momentum to roll him over and pin him again: One! ….. Two! Sam gets his shoulder off of the mat.} Terri Morasco: Somehow, Dre Cutler is keeping the momentum on his team’s side by getting these near falls!
Vasco Dias: But he’s going to have to actually do some damage if he plans on getting the pin.
{Dre is the first one to his feet, but Sam is right behind him-- Dre looks a little dazed on his feet while Sam appears the fresher of the two; Sam steps forward, and while still off step, Dre connects with a European uppercut! The shot sends Sam back a step, and Dre follows up with a second European uppercut, and a third, until Sam is against the ropes-- Dre sends Sam off the ropes and rushes to the middle of the ring and carries Sam over with a hip toss! Dre runs off the ropes immediately, and comes back to hit Sam with a leg drop! Dre is right back up to his feet, and charges The Lost Boys corner to hit a flying elbow to Dean on the apron that sends him off, and he quickly leaps to the top of their corner facing the crowd; he leaps off for a moonsault! Sam is able to lift his leg up and connect with Dre’s sternum-- Dre is clinging to his own ribs in pain, and Sam rises to his feet grabbing Dre as he is getting up and sailing him over with a Northern Lights Suplex! Dean is getting back up to his corner as Sam keeps the bridge held, and the referee is counting: One! ….. Two! ….. Dre kicks out!} Vasco Dias: A beautiful suplex! I am certain this is how this match is going to play out!
Terri Morasco: It was a great one, and a perfect bridge allowed him to get the near fall… and after the punishment that Dre has endured, it is surprising that he has been able to kick out.
{Sam is getting back to his feet, as Dre rolls over onto his stomach; he is trying to crawl over to his own corner to get Ulf into the match but Sam is standing between them-- rising to one knee, Dre stretches one leg back and tries to use the slight weight advantage he has over Sam to power his way forward with Ulf outstretching his arm-- Sam shakes his head to Dre, and Dre tries to spear Sam backward; Sam is able to maintain his stance, and drives his knee a couple times into Dre; Dre falls back several steps, almost in The Lost Boys corner-- he charges forward again with more momentum this time, as Sam looks to plant his feet, but Dre instead tries to go over! Sam has his legs held over his head, as Dre is stretching his arms but is unable to reach his own corner-- Dre’s weight finally topples over the back of Sam, and Dre looks to capitalize on this situation by completing a sunset flip: Sam rolls backwards and goes for a quick dropping calf kick-- Dre dodges, and immediately starts making his way back to his corner.} Terri Morasco: Dre is trying to get the fresh man in the ring!
Vasco Dias: But look at Dean! Smart!
{Dean gets into the ring and the referee charges over to stop him; Dre makes the tag, and the crowd roars loudly as Ulf explodes into the ring-- Dean immediately gets out, and the referee charges over and struggles to push Ulf back; Ulf is arguing that he was tagged in, but the referee shakes his head-- meanwhile, Sam is back up and dragging Dre back to his own corner. Ulf looks angry on the apron and the crowd is letting the referee hear their thoughts of his call, but Ulf does ultimately get back out as Sam tags Dean back in, and the referee sees it.} Terri Morasco: Ulf Hednir is the legal man! He should be the one in the ring!
Vasco Dias: Like I said, The Lost Boys are a team and they know what they are doing. What the referee does not see does not count.
{The Lost Boys are both in the ring and march Dre to the ropes; they send him off with a double Irish whip, looking to connect with a double clothesline-- Dre is able to avoid it, and bounces off the opposite ropes to gain some extra momentum and takes both of The Lost Boys down with a double clothesline! Dre rolls through as far as he can to his and Ulf’s corner, having to use a little bit more of his strength to stretch out; Dre tags Ulf in!} Terri Morasco: And here’s Ulf!
Vasco Dias: This could spell trouble for The Lost Boys; Ulf is the only man who has not seen action in the ring as of yet!
{Ulf gets into the ring as Sam is the first one to his feet-- he is taken down with a hard clothesline that almost knocks him out of his boots! Dean is the second one to his feet, and Ulf pushes him against the ropes and sends him across with an Irish whip; Dean reverses and Ulf bounces off the far ropes-- he returns with a massive shoulder block; Sam is back to his feet and charges at Ulf who lifts him up and over with a Samoan Drop! Dean almost bounced right back up to his feet and aims to catch Ulf off guard, but Ulf lifts him up to go for his Valhalla Driver-- Sam rises to his feet and dives forward connecting with a dropkick into Ulf’s abdomen…} Vasco Dias: That will stop his momentum.
Terri Morasco: He left himself exposed, and The Lost Boys capitalize on the opportunity.
{Dean is able to get his feet back on the ground and starts delivering some clubbing blows; Sam is finally forced out of the ring by the referee-- Dean continues with the clubbing blows several times until Ulf is down to one knee; Dean charges off the ropes and connects with a shining wizard! Dean quickly rolls Ulf up into a cover: One! ….. Two! ….. Ulf powers out of the cover!} Terri Morasco: With how much of an impact he made with the shining wizard… it’s a wonder it wasn’t enough…
Vasco Dias: We’ve seen Ulf Hednir over the last few weeks, and while he is far from being a great because of poor ring awareness, he can take a hit.
{Dean puts Ulf into a side headlock and drags him back into The Lost Boys corner making the tag to Sam; he stretches Ulf’s arm up exposing his ribs and Sam drives his elbow straight home from there! Ulf clings to his ribs, and Dean gets back onto the corner; Sam has Ulf battled into his own corner and continues using all the strikes he possibly can-- after several shots, he tags Dean back in-- Dean enters the ring and continues the assault as Sam gets back onto the apron. Sam is cheering on Dean, as Dean pummels away and Ulf drops to a seated position in the corner; Dean tags Sam back in! Dean gets back onto the apron and Sam starts stomping away at Ulf until the referee is forcing him back…} Vasco Dias: Now this TEAM is making Ulf Hednir pay! Just like they did with Dre Cutler! They cornered him, and they are picking him apart!
Terri Morasco: But they are doing illegal attacks while the referee is not watching!
{Dean drops outside of the ring and reaches around the turnbuckle to get a grip on Ulf, beginning to choke him while Sam has the referee distracted! Dre tries to get in the ring and stop the assault, but this just ends up hurting Ulf more as Sam charges forward and stomps on Ulf as Dean is still choking him… Dre is shouting for the referee to turn around, but he doesn’t until Dre is getting back onto his corner-- Dean is able to stop and get back on the apron before the referee notices anything.} Terri Morasco: Come on! Check the replay! Do something!
Vasco Dias: Dre should just stay on the apron.
Terri Morasco: He is!
{Sam is pointing Dre out to the referee telling him to do something about him, and the referee turns to see what he’s doing-- which is nothing-- but Dean gets a couple more shots in. Sam is trying to pick Ulf up, but finds it to be a bit of a struggle so Dean is also helping get Ulf back to his feet; he connects with an uppercut-- Dre has dropped from his apron and starts marching around the ring; Sam, not noticing Dre, drags Ulf to the center of the ropes before sending him off; Ulf comes back and is taken down with a drop toe hold-- Sam grabs Ulf’s leg and is dragging him back to his corner to tag Dean back in; Sam reaches back to make the tag, but Dre grabs Dean by the legs and rips him off the apron! Dean’s skull collides with the apron, and the referee looks to see what the commotion is about; he tells Dre to go back to his corner, and Dre is trying to explain to the referee what was happening! Sam looks slightly confused and sees that Dean is not there; Ulf is getting up, and Sam starts pummeling away-- Ulf catches one of Sam’s hands and throws in a devastating shot of his own!} Vasco Dias: Stay on him! You don’t want him showing any signs of life!
Terri Morasco: Battle him back!
{Dean is trying to regain his composure out of the ring as Dre is still heading back to his own corner. Sam tries to send Ulf into the corner, but it’s reversed and Ulf immediately follows in with body splash turning in a 180 so his back collides with Sam’s front; Ulf has him trapped in the corner and he starts alternating elbows back to Sam’s head-- the referee notices what is happening, and telling Ulf that he does not believe that to be legal; meanwhile, Dean has now come out from his own corner outside of the ring and ambushes Dre! Dre and Dean start trading shots with each other! The referee notices the two fighting outside of the ring and is calling for them to stop it, and go back to their respective corners! Neither man is listening!} Terri Morasco: Dre has seen enough!
Vasco Dias: Hey! Dre initiated this attack, you need to send him back to the locker room! Make Ulf finish this as a handicap match!
{Sam shoves Ulf off and waits for him to turn around before catching him with a dropkick-- Sam notices what is going on outside of the ring and runs to the far ropes before springing between the top and middle ropes with a suicide dive connecting primarily with Dre, but also hitting Dean in the process; Ulf is getting to his feet and sees The Lost Boys teaming up on Dre outside of the ring, and the referee still trying to demand that they get back to their corners, and Sam get back in the ring…} Terri Morasco: Sam was not happy about the fighting Dre was having with Dean!
Vasco Dias: Oh no...
{“Skål!” Ulf shouts out to the crowd, and the crowd shouts it back as Ulf springs off the far ropes and comes back and clears the top rope for a suicide dive of his own! Ulf lands on his feet, as the other three men fall to the mat outside; Dean and Sam are both struggling to get up, as Ulf helps Dre to his feet but then starts bringing down hard rights and lefts to his opponents-- the referee has no choice but to start counting out both teams.} Terri Morasco: He shows the world that he, too, can fly!
Vasco Dias: Get in the ring! Disqualify him! He should not have continued this attack and intervened with the referee trying to regain control!
{Dean is up to his feet but stumbling away as Ulf is still trying to bring down crushing blows to Dean; Sam stumbles forward against the apron-- Dre is looking at some of the carnage and looking for someone to strike, he jumps at Sam and delivers a few forearm shots to his back before pushing him under the ropes and back into the ring. The count is only up to three. Ulf stalks Dean momentarily, and as Dean turns around, Ulf connects with a spear that is sending both men toward the barricade-- Ulf plows Dean right through it and the crowd erupts loudly into a cheer as both men collapse into the crowd!} Terri Morasco: Can you believe what we just saw?!
Vasco Dias: What we saw is a man get hurt… did you see how Dean’s shoulder hit that barricade? Ulf Hednir is a loose cannon, and should lose his contract for that!
{Dre is in disbelief over what happened, but is listening to the count which is now up to six-- he rushes over and grabs his partner, telling him to get into the ring. Seven! Dre is shoving Ulf back to the ring still, as hurt as he may be: Eight! Dre successfully shoves Ulf under the ropes and looks back at Dean who is being tended to while security keeps the fans at bay-- Sam tries to capitalize on the situation of Ulf being hurt by covering him: One! ….. Two! ….. Th--Ulf kicks out!} Vasco Dias: At least Dre has the sense to get this match back into the ring, as he forces not only Sam back into the ring, but also his own partner.
Terri Morasco: Well, it’s bittersweet; he saved himself and Ulf from losing by count out, but almost cost him by pin fall.
{Dre gets back onto the apron as the ringside crew are checking on Dean, and assisting him to his feet; he is grasping his own shoulder and struggling as the crew is insisting he goes to the back-- Dean is ignoring their instruction and gets onto the apron to be there for Sam anyway.} Vasco Dias: Dean is showing just how tough he can be.
Terri Morasco: You can see that that shoulder is bothering him.
{Ulf and Sam are both getting up to their feet, and Sam hurries forward trying to deliver a few clubbing blows to his back-- Ulf shoves Sam off with tremendous force that knocks Sam off his feet; he rolls through and is back up… Ulf is still catching his breath, so Sam charges forward and Ulf is able to take him over the top rope with a shoulder back toss; however, Sam catches the ropes and is able to land on the apron; he charges over to where Dre is standing and hits him with a running kick before climbing up to the top rope-- Ulf turns slowly to face him, and he dives off the ropes to go for a diving cross body!} Terri Morasco: Sam showing some life! I don’t know if he even knows that Dean is hurt!
Vasco Dias: Don’t be too flashy! Keep it simple!
{Ulf catches him in midair and parades around the ring momentarily; Dean is standing at his apron still nursing his injured shoulder, but stretching his good arm out to get Sam to try to make the tag-- Dre has gotten back up to the apron-- Ulf sails Sam over with a fallaway slam! He quickly closes the distance to Sam and hooks the leg: One! Dean is charging into the ring-- Dre is getting in on the opposite end, trying to intervene. Two! Dean is much closer to the two and is able to quickly break up the cover, as Dre knowing he was unsuccessful retreats back to the apron.} Vasco Dias: These men are having a war out here…
Terri Morasco: Dre accepts that he was not able to make it.
{Dean has gotten back to the apron, still nursing his shoulder but exclaims that this match isn’t over; Ulf picks Sam up with him and sends him into his and Dre’s corner following in with the Stinger Splash! He grabs Sam by the arm and aims to send him across to the opposite, but stops and sends him back into his and Dre’s corner forcefully; he takes a step back to gain momentum, and charges in for a second Stinger Splash! Sam stumbles out from the corner and Ulf connects with a spinning backfist completing Berserker Mode before making the tag to Dre.} Terri Morasco: A surprising tag…
Vasco Dias: You’d think he would end this.
{Dre climbs up to the top rope as Ulf gets to the apron-- he leaps off going for Crown Me, but Sam finds the strength to roll out of the way!} Vasco Dias: That has to crush your spirit.
Terri Morasco: He missed!
{Dre looks winded quickly as he had collided with the hard canvas while Sam is desperately trying to get Dean into the match-- Sam dives and tags in Dean, as Dean gets in still nursing his shoulder-- Dre tags Ulf back into the match to allow himself to regain his wind, and Ulf is back in… Dean looks to want to take a step back, but knowing Sam needs some time to recover, he charges forward; Ulf goes for a clothesline, but Dean spots it and ducks under bouncing off the far ropes; just as Ulf turns to face him again, Dean leaps up and takes him down with a dropkick! He is slower to get to his feet, unable to use one of his arms because of his shoulder--} Terri Morasco: The referee really should call this match. It’s dangerous for Dean to be competing still.
Vasco Dias: I will agree with you, but Dean is insisting on remaining… that shoulder has to really be killing him, though.
{Ulf is getting back up but Dean, using his good arm, is able to leap toward him and get him in a front headlock in midair as he spins him around and takes him down with Heat Seeker! The impact causes Ulf to roll over onto his back, and Dean tries to capitalize: One! Dre is getting into the ring. Two! Dre takes a few steps forward knowing he will be able to break up the count. Thr---just before Dre can actually make the save, Ulf does kick out!} Terri Morasco: Ulf Hednir kicks out!
Vasco Dias: His partner was taking a little too long to get there, but I guess it all worked out.
{Dean looks toward his corner to see if Sam is ready to go in, knowing he cannot go too long with his shoulder in its bad shape, but sees Sam still hardly able to hold himself up from the apron-- Dean uses all the strength he can to lift Ulf up as Dre goes back onto the apron-- Ulf is up thanks to Dean, and Dean starts to deliver some hard kicks and using his good arm to send Ulf back a few steps… Dean aims toward Ulf with a clothesline, wanting to send Ulf outside of the ring in order to buy some time, but Ulf catches him by surprise with Thor’s Rage! Dean looks to be out cold, as Ulf drags him toward Dre. Ulf looks to make a last second cover: One! ….. Sam is trying to get into the ring, but is still recover. Two! Sam just gets into the ring. Thre----Dean manages to kick out!} Terri Morasco: Thor’s Rage! Dean managed to kick out of Thor’s Rage!
Vasco Dias: That’s because Ulf took his time.
Terri Morasco: But if he didn’t move him, then Sam would have easily broken up the cover.
Vasco Dias: Wow, he’s showing some ring awareness.
{Ulf sighs and gets up to his feet. Sam is getting back onto the apron but looks a little more focused, and recovered; Ulf tags in Dre who stands on the apron for a moment while Dean is struggling to get himself to his feet… as soon as he does, Dre springs to the top rope and off with Dre Says Hey! Sam immediately gets into the ring, as Dre is rolling Dean up; Ulf charges forward as well. One! Sam is closing the distance rapidly, but Ulf aims to intervene; Two! As Sam goes for the dive, Ulf intercepts him successfully with a second Thor’s Rage! Three!} Terri Morasco: Dre Cutler and Ulf Hednir did it! This war is over!
Vasco Dias: And not a moment too soon… the medical staff is already in there trying to help Dean out.
{Ulf has his arms raised in the air immediately, as Dre is getting to his feet-- the EMTs are already on the scene and helping Dean out of the ring as Sam sluggishly rolls out of the ring knowing that The Lost Boys lost this one. The referee grabs Dre by the arm and holds his and Ulf’s arms high before Ulf walks toward the edge of the ring-- one of the ring crew members brings him his drinking horn, along with his cloak which he had wrapped around something else earlier; Ulf retrieves what he had wrapped in it to reveal a second drinking horn!} Terri Morasco: Where does he get these things?!
Vasco Dias: I don’t know, but he should clear the path for the medical staff.
Crowd: SKĂ…L!
{The same crew worker has gotten a couple beers as Ulf holds them both out, and has them filled; Ulf walks over to Dre with the drinking horn and holds it out for his partner of the evening…} Ulf Hednir: Skål, venn!
{Dre has a smirk on his face, but shakes his head and drops to the mat before rolling out of the ring. The crowd cannot contain themselves as they do boo just the action that Dre would not partake in the offer; Ulf shrugs his shoulders and carefully gets out of the ring looking to some of the people in the crowd closer to the front-- he ignores the children, for obvious reasons, but eventually comes across a young, attractive lady. He gifts the drinking horn to her, before raising his own drinking horn to her.} Terri Morasco: Dre Cutler refused the gesture, and this crowd let him know… but at least that lady is going to have a night to remember.
Vasco Dias: Keep it in your pants!
Ulf Hednir: SkĂĄl!
{The lady is a bit nervous, but raises the drinking horn as does Ulf as both of them down their drink! He walks away with his own drinking horn, leaving the one he gifted to the lady as a souvenir.} ----------------------------------------------------------

”I’ve Got An Idea…”
----------------------------------------------------------
{ We open backstage to Mike Laszlo storming through the back. Several members of the crew move out of his way as Mike makes moves towards his destination but he suddenly stops when he comes face to face with the former Imperial Champion, the only man in IWF history to reject his hall of fame induction, Cable Arcane. } Cable Arcane: And where the hell are you going?
Mike Laszlo: Cable, as much as I’d love to lay you out right here and right now I’ve got a match to challenge for at Bloody Assizes.
Cable Arcane: If you’re looking for a match against Spike Kane then get in line because I’m first.
{ Laszlo noses up to Cable but Arcane doesn’t back down. } Mike Laszlo: Look Cable, I respect everything you’ve done, seriously but if anyone is getting into the ring with Spike Kane it’s going to be me. Ever since I rained on Verona’s parade a year ago he has been doing everything in his power to keep me off the show. That stops now. I’m going to beat Spike Kane and then I’m going to face the Imperial Champion and then I am going to reclaim my belt!
{ Cable suddenly smiles which confuses Laszlo. } Cable Arcane: Why does it have to be a one on one? Spike screwed us both out of a victory. Why not challenge for a triple threat rematch?
{ Laszlo now returns the smile. } Mike Laszlo: I like the way you think.
{ The two of them now head off down the hallway before stopping in front of a door that reads “Roberto Veron” they don’t bother to knock, they just throw the door open to Verona seated behind his large impressive desk. } Roberto Verona: And how may I help you… “Gentlemen”?
{ Both Cable and Laszlo flank the desk of Roberto Verona. } Cable Arcane: We want a rematch.
Mike Laszlo: Against Spike Kane, winner gets and Imperial title shot.
{ Roberto leans back in his chair. } Roberto Verona: I’m afraid we’ve already seen that match and unfortunately you both came up short.
Cable Arcane: The match was deemed a no contest.
Mike Laszlo: No one won!
Roberto Verona: Well, by my calculations that'd make you all losers. Spike just happened to be the last one on his feet.
{ Roberto smiles and both Cable and Laszlo look infuriated. } Cable Arcane: I want Spike in the ring.
Mike Laszlo: So do I.
Cable Arcane: You can grant the match.
Mike Laszlo: Or we can force the match.
Roberto Verona: Are you two threatening to do something less than honorable to Spike Kane?
Cable Arcane: We are promising to whip his ass one way or the other.
Mike Laszlo: Damn right.
{ Roberto thinks on it for a moment before leaning forward. } Roberto Verona: I’ve got a fantastic idea. The two of you teaming up. Tag Team match. You can get all that pent up tension out.
Cable and Mike: Against?
Roberto Verona: Wait and see. If you’re truly as good as you both think you are it won’t matter who your opponents are, will it?
{ Cable and Mike are not satisfied but Verona seems quite happy. } Roberto Verona: Run along now. I’ve got a show to run.
Cable Arcane: You may own the company, Roberto but I still know people in management.
Roberto Verona: Then go, talk to them.
Mike Laszlo: We will.
{ Mike and Cable exit Verona’s office, he still seems quite happy but the question of management lingers over his head… } ----------------------------------------------------------
SINGLES MATCH
Jason Sandman vs Mr. Happy
----------------------------------------------------------
{ Mr. Happy by ICP hits the pa. Mr. Happy comes dancing out onto the stage shaking bottles of Root Beer Faygo. He shakes one then sends it flying off the ramp and into the crowd like a soda rocket. The other he rips open and spills all over his face and mouth before running down the ramp and sliding into the ring. } Vasco Dias: How the hell is Mr Happy still moving after last week?
Terri Morasco: Maybe Happy is stronger than you give him credit for?
Vasco Dias: I have a feeling Happy is about as worthless as I think he is and when Jason Sandman gets out here, well, we are going to have our first live funeral on IWF television.
Terri Morasco: I feel like you’re hoping for a funeral.
Vasco Dias: Better believe it.
{ Am I a Psycho comes on the speakers and as it begins Deal With It Bitch Productions Presents logo come on the Teletron. When the opening words are heard the name of Jason Sandman shows up on the teletron. Jason Sandman comes out of the entranceway and as he raises his singapore cane and a steel chair wrapped in barbwire in the air pyro shoots off. Jason Sandman runs down to the ring, throwing the cane and chair over before sliding under the ropes. } Vasco Dias: And Sandman bringing a gun to a balloon animal fight.
Terri Morasco: I can’t believe you’re hoping he hurts Mr. Happy.
Vasco Dias: Who doesn’t want to see that clown ripped to shreds!?
Terri Morasco: Me!
Vasco Dias: Who cares what you think?
{ Happy is sporting a sweet neck brace but tells the referee he is ready to go. Jason smirks as the referee calls for the bell and then explodes across the ring and hits a huge clothesline on Mr Happy and sends him spilling over the top rope and bouncing off the apron to the outside! } Vasco Dias: Right to the outside!
Terri Morasco: This is not where Happy wants to be!
{ Jason jumps rights out of the ring and clubs Happy hard over the back as he tries to stand up. Jason grabs Happy by the hair and smiles as he twists the clown around and hits a release German suplex right into the ring apron on Happy! } Vasco Dias: I love the brutality of Jason Sandman!
Terri Morasco: He is a legend all over the wrestling world for a reason but Jesus!
{ Jason gets to his feet and rolls into the ring and then back out to restart the count. Happy seems out of it but Jason doesn’t care as he pulls Happy up and then runs him face first into the steel post. Jason turns Happy around and then hooks him for a release vertical suplex right into the ring post! } Terri Morasco: Ok this is enough! Someone needs to call Sandman off!
Vasco Dias: No! Let Jason murder him!
{ Sandman rolls in under the ropes and back out again to restart the count again. Sandman walks over to where the ring bearer is holding onto his barbed wire wrapped steel chair. } Terri Morasco: Oh god…
Vasco Dias: It’s about time!
{ Sandman launches the chair at Happy’s face but Happy catches it however Jason hits the Kiss the Demon or the Angel will Rise spinning back fist into the chair which crushes it against the face of Mr Happy!!! } Terri Morasco: How is the ref allowing this!?
Vasco Dias: Sandman didn’t technically use the chair!
{ Happy drops the chair and slumps against the apron but Sandman is right there with a running elbow! Sandman rolls Happy onto the apron and climbs up with him. He pulls Happy up to his feet and then lifts him up for The long Drop and the Quick stop on the apron!!!! } Terri Morasco: Sandman may have just broken Happy’s neck!!!
Vasco Dias: God can only hope!
{ Jason rolls Happy into the ring who seems to be completely out of it. Sandman rolls in after him and then lays in wait in the corner of the ring. It takes several moments for Happy to start moving but eventually he gets to his hands and knees but Sandman comes out of the corner with Daddy’s Dental Work!!! } Terri Morasco: That has got to be it! Just pin Happy already!
Vasco Dias: I say crush him even more!
{ Happy is now bleeding profusely all over the ring as Jason suddenly smiles very large. Sandman reaches down with the palm of his hand and smears Happy’s blood all over his painted face until all the white is gone and the clown looks like a bloody nightmare version of himself. Jason slowly pulls Happy up to his feet with a large smile on his feet then hooks him and hits Happy with Death awaits You right in the middle of the ring. Jason pins him very nonchalantly as the referee counts. ONE!TWO! THREE!!!! } Vasco Dias: Jason Sandman with the win, obviously!
Terri Morasco: I feel bad for Happy, he was clearly out matched against Jason Sandman.
Vasco Dias: Happy needs to stick to the losers he can handle like James Gilmore! Sandman is destined for something greater!
{ Jason Sandman stands proud in the center of the ring as his music plays. } ----------------------------------------------------------
TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Fiona McFly vs Kate Steele vs Maxine Valentine
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome a true global ambassador. A former educator, she has touched the lives of many children through her dedication to her school and many other causes throughout the world. Let us all welcome to ringside, Manchester, England's own...REGINA KIMBLLLLEEE!!!!
{ Showaddywaddy's classic rock thumper, the aptly titled "Hey Rock 'n' Roll," begins to play as our cameras zoom in on the smiling face of now-retired Beckham Elementary School teacher and principal Regina Kimble, who sits in her wheelchair behind the safety fence at ringside. Just like last week, she stands up and waves merrily to the joyous hometown folks. } Terri Morasco: God bless her. To see her come out in Fiona's birthplace last week and deliver that heartwarming address to the crowd...it was such an amazing moment that I don't think any of us will ever forget.
Vasco Dias: Yeah...that moment when she had us all close our eyes and take ten seconds to reflect? That gave me chills, it really did. Beckham Elementary School's one of the many schools we visit during tours as a way to help the kids understand the value of hard work, and Miss Kimble is such a sweet, sweet soul who truly loves teaching, telling stories...ya name it.
Terri Morasco: Welp...we've got another match on the docket, so let's get cracking!
{ Monster by Paramore begins to blare all across the sound system and as it does Kate Steele along with her husband Todd Warren begins to emerge from the back curtain. Kate has a huge smile on her face as she stares at the roaring crowd who are all cheering her on. She begins to sprint down the aisle as she claps the hands of outstretched fans. } [DING-DING-DING!!!]
Alison Valance: The following contest is a Diamonds triple threat match, set for one fall! Introducing first, from Berkshire, England...KATE STEEEEELE!!!!!
{ Kate finally makes it to the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd cheering her on. She closes her eyes placing a single finger over her lips offering the Shhhh sound which all the fans follow in. She takes her place in the corner afterwards waiting for the match to begin.} Terri Morasco: Diamonds triple threat action, comin' right up!
Vasco Dias: This match is giving me a hard-on already...well, with the exception of Kate Steele.
Terri Morasco: Don't start! I wanna have my cup of tea soon, so don't put my mind--or the fans'--in the gutter!
{ The lights dim to a sickening Green as an Early Warning Siren plays for a few seconds before “World Painted Blood” starts to play and Maxine comes wondering out on a burst of smoke dressed in her ring gear and added gas mask, head half bowed and ignoring the crowd as she takes he sweet time pulling herself into the ring... } Alison Valance: Making her way to the ring, from Arklay, Missouri...MAXIIIINE VALENTIIIIINE!!!!
{ Taking off the mask slowly and surely to take a big breath of Ring side air and hanging the thing up on the nearest Turnbuckle. } Terri Morasco: I tell you what, Vasco...I'd run if I see her at an English pub!
Vasco Dias: You'll run away from EVERYTHING! Big-league!
Terri Morasco: Now, now...don't be stealing Gilmore's gimmick!
{ "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" by Dropkick Murphys kicks into high gear as Fiona McFly marches out on stage, takes a bow, and heads down to the ring--giving lucky fans quick pecks on the cheek along the way. } Vasco Dias: Did you see the new photos that went up with the most recent IWF roster updates? I took one GOOD look at Fiona's mugshot, and boy...I'll go on the record and say that my di--
Terri Morasco: (cutting Vasco off) WILL YOU STOP!?!?!
Vasco Dias: ...ummm, it DID give me some new material to peruse, ya know?
Terri Morasco: (grumbles under her breath) Sometimes I wonder why they hired this guy to even work with me...
[DING!]
{ Maxine Valentine opts to sit out at ringside, watching as Kate Steele promptly charges at Fiona McFly, firing away with hard lefts and rights to the schnozz as the zebra-dude pulls her away for using closed fists. But "The Siren" is at it again, punching and kicking on Fiona as the latter backs into the corner in an attempt to go for the block. Steele, however, pulls McFly by the hair and setting her up for a side Russian leg sweep. Sensing the early mojo going her way, Kate then applies a trio of German suplexes, the last being turned into a pin that only gets a two-count! At that moment in time, Maxine decides that Kate's had enough playtime with Fifi and attacks "The Siren" from behind with a hard forearm smash! } Terri Morasco: Sneak attack from Valentine!
Vasco Dias: Now it's Maxine's turn to have a l'il fun now!
{ Indeed, the biggest Diamond in this three-way yanks Kate by the hair--with the ref just shaking his head in exasperation--before setting her up for an Irish whip. Steele bounces off the ropes and into a big boot that connects flush with her snout! Steele clutches her nose as she hits the deck hard, but Valentine won't give her an inch, surgically picking apart the former Shieldmaiden by clubbing her in the back of the neck with several hard fists before applying a massive full-nelson slam combination that scores her a count of two as well! Maxine, eking out an evil grin on her kisser, drags Kate over to the corner and sets her legs behind the ropes. Meanwhile...Fiona, who has taken some time to catch her breath, notices that the "Siren" is in a precarious position and gives Valentine a cold, calculating look. } Vasco Dias: Uh-oh...
Terri Morasco: Looks like Maxine and Fiona have something in common!
{ As the crowd becomes a little anxious over what's about to happen next, Fiona and Maxine both nod their heads in agreement before the Northern Irishwoman charges at the Berkshire native, kicking her right between the legs! The men in the Manchester crowd cringe in agony as Maxine charges forward...AND DOES THE EXACT SAME THING!!! The ex-Shieldmaiden goes down in a heap, favoring that sensitive area as both Fiona and Maxine stand over each other, thinking about who would go for the next pin attempt... } Vasco Dias: DAMN!!!
Terri Morasco: Folks...I refuse to call that move by its name.
Vasco Dias: I will--wow! What a Double Cu--
Terri Morasco: (cuts him off again) Don't EVEN say it!
{ ...but the temporary "truce" is short-lived, thanks to Maxine slapping Fiona right across the cheekbone! Fiona, to her credit, slaps Valentine right back, and before you know it, the two women--as Kate Steele rolls out to the floor to recompose herself--begin trading slaps, resulting in a catfight that sees both ladies rolling around the ring, scratching each other's eyes with their long fingernails! } Vasco Dias: CATFIGHT! CATFIGHT! CAAAAAAT-FIIIIIIGHT!!!!!
Terri Morasco: Sit down, Vasco! HEEL!!
{ Eventually, Fiona is able to pull away from the enraged Valentine and back herself into the corner, ready to pounce. Maxine charges toards McFly, but she eats a standing dropkick for breakfast, followed by a second one for afternoon teatime! Utilising her martial arts prowess to great effect, Fiona is able to chop down the much bigger Diamond with kicks to the ribs which knock her opponent to a knee, followed up by a massive short-armed clothesline that knocks the big gal down and, consequently, scores Fiona a two-count for her efforts! With a look of determined grit on her face, Fiona climbs up to the top rop rope...only for a rejuvenated Kate Steele to sneak up from behind and wiggle the ropes, causing the 2016 Iron Maiden winner to land in that...ummm, rather uncomfortable spot...as "The Siren" screams "PAYBACK'S A BITCH!!!" } Vasco Dias: Ohhhhh...
Terri Morasco: That didn't feel good for Fifi.
Vasco Dias: At all. Oy!
{ Kate takes her position on the top strand, watching as Maxine gets to her feet and runs towards her; the Berkshire native flies off with an attempt at a crossbody...only to be caught in mid-air and SPIKED to the mat, courtesy her trademark chokeslam that's dubbed "Goodbye Alice!" With a sinister smirk from ear to ear, Maxine goes for the pin... } 1...!
2....!!
THREEEEEE--YEAH, AWW WHAT?!?!
{ ...only to stand up, even more pissed off at the fact that Steele had managed to get that left shoulder up at two-and-three-quarters! The stripedshirt calmly holds up the dreaded two fingers, even as Valentine can be heard screaming some not-so-PG-rated lingo in his general direction. Fiona, after shaking off the fuzzies, pulls herself back together, and grabs Kate Steele quickly! The fans go wild as McFly places her victim in a massive sidewalk slam before transitioning into a cover! } 1...!
2...!!
THREEEEE--NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
{ Fiona doesn't allow herself to get upset, even as the man in stripes holds up that dreaded peace sign! With rugged determination in her eyes, she immediately sets Steele up for her dreaded straight-inverse DDT called the "SENDING OFF!" Taking a moment to gaze her eyes upon her mentor sitting at ringside, she connects with one of her patented maneuvers before going for the pinfall! } 1...!
2...!!
{ Maxine, sensing that her rage might cost her, tries to break up the pinning attempt...and does so JUUUUUUST in the nick of time! After unceremoniously chucking Fiona out to the floor, where she's comforted by Miss Kimble at ringside, Maxine places Kate Steele into perfect position for her dreaded tombstone piledriver she labels as "T-VIRUS!" The crowd falls silent as Valentine goes for the cover! } 1...!
2...!!
THREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
[DING-DING-DING!!!]
{ "World Painted Blood" plays once more as Maxine Valentine shoves the zebra away before quickly making her exit. Meanwhile on the outside, we see Fiona being consoled by the former principal and teacher at ringside as we cut to the next Bloody Assizes PPV advert! } ----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT
”Nothing to Prove”
----------------------------------------------------------
{The scene opens to an IWF Studio location with a beautiful view of Chicago out the window and three chairs set up in the room, one with Rachel Grimes in it, and the other two filled by the Garcia Twins.} Rachel Grimes: Ladies and gentlemen, please allow me this time to have this sit down interview with the former Diamonds Champion...Paige Garcia.
{She turns to Paige.} Rachel Grimes: Thank you two for your time. Paige, last week you were challenged to a match at Open Fight Night by Alexis Caffrey, and you chose not to take part. Some have speculated fear. Care to set them straight?
{Paige looks shocked at the accusations thrown her way.} Paige Garcia: Fear? People think I fear that little mouse looking girl? Please. I’m no more afraid of Crazy Mouse than you are of your own shadow Rachel. I have nothing to prove. I beat Alexis down when she tried to take the title from me and she can’t get over her jealousy.
Rachel Grimes: You may have done that, but she’s returned the favor, costing you a couple of matches in the process. You beat her down, but technically, you’ve never beaten her.
{Paige looks a bit annoyed.} Paige Garcia: Technically? This world isn’t built on “technically” Rachel. This world that we all live in, that I thrive in, is built on results. I wanted Alexis out of the way, and I took her out, it’s that plain and simple.
{Rachel nods.} Rachel Grimes: I see. That being said, Alexis revealed that the two of you will indeed have a match at Bloody Assizes. My main point here today was to get your reaction on being forced into a match by Riley Gordon.
{Paige sighs.} Paige Garcia: Riley is just like all of the rest in this division...she’s jealous of me. She’s jealous of the things I’ve done in a short amount of time, and she’s jealous of my personal life where I’ve done more than she could ever dream. I understand she wants ratings. I mean, there’s a story here. It’s the former teacher against the superior student. So at Bloody Assizes, there will be a match, and there will be an ending to this little rivalry. Alexis will see that I’m the Queen of the Diamonds Division, and when I’m done with her, Pandora Freeman better watch out because I’m coming for that Diamonds Championship, and I WILL...GET BACK...WHAT’S MINE!
{Rachel nods again.} Rachel Grimes: Well, I want to thank you again for your time.
{She turns to the camera.} Rachel Grimes: We send things back to ringside.
Terri Morasco: Well, it seems as if Paige is focused.
Vasco Dias: You’re damn right she is. She wants that Diamonds Title back and if she has to go through Alexis to get it, then so be it.

DIAMONDS TAG TEAM MATCH
Astrid Hall & Shea O’Hara vs Rowan MacDonnough & Alicia Lukas
----------------------------------------------------------
Alison Valance: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is a Tag Team match!
{The opening riff of "Root of all evil" by Incendiary starts and as the guitar kicks in with the baseline stomp Alicia Lukas emerges from the back, she stands on the entranceway and lifts on hand in the air throwing up the horns before making her way down to the ring.} Alison Valance: Approaching the ring from Atlanta, Georgia, weighing in at 145 pounds… Alicia LUKAS!
{She runs up and slides across the apron on one knee lifting her hand on the air before sliding between the apron and the bottom rope.} Vasco Dias: Alicia Lukas is looking to remind the IWF that she’s nothing to be trifled with tonight. That’s the look of a woman about to make a statement.
Terri Morasco: And she’ll need to. Alicia’s had the wings taken out from her sails since her defeat at the hands of Eternity, and hasn’t quite been able to capture the majesty she had before it.
{Lights out.} Alison Valance: And her partner, also weighing in at 145 pounds… from Kilkenny Ireland, the Wolf of the Abyss… Rowan MacDonnough!
{The crashing cymbals and screeching opening chord of “Red Stars” by the Birthday Massacre ring out, and red smoke billows from either side of the entranceway as Rowan MacDonnough stalks out from behind the curtain, golden eyes glinting in the red light as they shift from side to side. The stage and ramp are lit by swirling red light, but everything else remains dark. She lopes forward, unconsciously rolling her wrists as her eyes bore a hole in the air before her. The smoke seems to follow her down the ramp as she walks, reaching up and grabbing the middle rope with one hand. Rowan hauls herself up onto the apron, standing and ducking between the middle and top rope to step inside the ring. She straightens up, slowly pacing towards the center of the ring as a spiraling pattern of red light appears on the mat, and her eyes scan the crowd, head moving in a jerky, animalistic pattern. She slowly, reluctantly backs towards a corner, eyes constantly moving as she settles in to wait for the bell. She does not acknowledge Alicia Lukas’ presence.} Vasco Dias: The unpinned monster returns to the ring, itching for another shot at Shea O’Hara tonight after the bullshit ending to their match at Open Fight Night. I’d be worried about the Wolf of the Abyss falling off the rails tonight. She looks angrier than usual.
Terri Morasco: O’Hara won fair and square, delivering a beating that Rowan couldn’t recover from in time. Unfortunately for Rowan, this is a tag-team match, and her “doesn’t play well with others” attitude has cost her in every tag match she’s been in.
Alison Valance: And their opponents…
{The arena is filled with blue and green light as Immigrant Song begins to play, evoking colors of the sea or the forest. As the music intensifies, Lights shine down to reveal Astrid entering through the crowd, huge smile on her face as she descends towards the ring, carrying a Viking-style shield as she approaches.} Alison Valance: Introducing first, making her way to the ring from Trondheim Norway, weighing in at 185 pounds – The Valkyrie, ASTRID HALL!
{She interacts with the crowd, laughing with them and allowing some of them to take selfies with her, giving high-fives and fist bumps all the way down. Her manager, Emma Danielson, walks behind her, smiling and interacting with the crowd as well, though not in as show-stealing a way. Before leaving the crowd, Astrid hands the shield to a young girl declaring “Anyone can be a hero - welcome to the Shield Wall, Sister!”. She leaps into the ring, pumped up and beaming after one last fist bump with Emma, jumping onto the ropes with a triumphant fist in the air taking in the crowd’s cheers before eventually settling into her corner, still brimming with energy.} Terri Morasco: Astrid’s been on a hot streak since Night of the Immortals, with a huge win in the fatal five way match and then her post match throwdown with Maxine last week! I hope that she can keep that same momentum as we lead up to Bloody Assizes… and the Heiress to the Throne competition!
Vasco Dias: One match and a ringside brawl doesn’t make up for a losing streak like hers.
{The lights go out before the tron flickers to life with a flick of orange hair, before "In God We Trust” by Sweet Little Machine blasts out of the PA with orange and green lights flashing wildly, in time with the drums. The crowd pops as the music hits, wildly singing along with the music as soon as it hits.} "ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
NAH, NAH, NAH NAH!
NAH NAH-NAH NAH NAH!"
Alison Valance: And her partner, from Cork Ireland… weighing in at 135 pounds, the IWF Shieldmaiden – SHEA O’HARAAAAA!!!
{The crowd chant salong with the song as Shea O’Hara barges through the curtain before standing in the middle of the stage. She lowers herself, almost squatting, before thrusting her arms into the air with the “devil horns” as a small pyro goes off behind her. She then sprints to the ring, sliding under the ropes and runs to the camera side and leans through the ropes on the second rope throwing up her “devil horns” once again. She steps down to join Astrid in the middle of the ring, the two friends beaming at one another as they bump their forearms together in greeting before the taller Norsewoman pulls Shea into a firm hug. The two of them then go to their corner, both of them visibly pumped with energy for the oncoming match.} Terri Morasco: As expected, those two look to be in great cohesion with one another. We’ve seen what these two could do when they’d never worked together before – but I’m told that they’ve been practicing together all week for this match. I bet we can expect some great cooperative action between them.
Vasco Dias: But will it be enough? Rowan and Alicia are both incredible powerhouses on their own, and Rowan gave those two a fight on her own several weeks ago. With a woman with the power of Alicia at her side, do you think they stand a chance? I mean, Alicia almost beat Eternity!
Terri Morasco: … You remember that Shea ACTUALLY beat Eternity, right Vasco?
Vasco Dias: The match is starting Terri, don’t interrupt.
DING!
{The bell rings, and Astrid and Shea move like clockwork, with Astrid immediately taking to the ring. At first it seems as though Rowan will be squaring off against her, but Alicia instantly tags herself in. She and Rowan share a brief, tense staredown before Rowan slowly slips under the ropes, letting the Strong Style Southern Belle take the reins!} Terri Morasco: Alicia Lukas looking to take the fight to the Valkyrie. These two have been enemies since Lukas debuted, and there’s clearly still no small amount of bad blood between them, each one taking every shot at the other they can.
Vasco Dias: I wonder what would happen if they crossed paths in the Supermarket? Cleanup in aisle three!
{Alicia Lukas starts to circle the larger woman, but the Valkyrie is having none of it. Astrid charges Alicia down directly, letting out a joyful laugh as she runs directly into striking distance of Lukas. Alicia unloads with a series of stiff kicks to the legs, but it isn’t enough to stop the charge of the Valkyrie. Astrid knocks Alicia into the ropes with a running forearm strike, and the Valkyrie isn’t about to end it there, following Alicia to continue her charge. However, Alicia strikes back with a slick forearm shot of her own, giving enough force to send Astrid back a few steps giving her some breathing room. Alicia seizes the initiative by continuing to target Astrid’s vertical base, landing a dropkick to the knee that staggers the Valkyrie. However, it doesn’t seem as though Astrid is off guard in the slightest, grabbing Alicia as the Southern Belle rises, driving her right back into the mat with a twisting belly to belly suplex. Astrid doesn’t even bother going for the pin, though, knowing that Alicia hasn’t taken nearly enough punishment for it to work yet, instead stepping back and letting Alicia rise. As soon as she’s back on her feet, Astrid again charges in, this time roaring with fury as she delivers a string of brutal uppercuts!} Terri Morasco: There’s Astrid Hall with the Berserker’s Fury!
Vasco Dias: A little early to be unleashing something like this, don’t you think?
{The strikes seem to disorient Lukas, but not enough to make a serious impact. Indeed, Alicia smiles at Astrid when the onslaught is done, cracking her neck and returning the favor as Astrid charges in for what might be a Superman Punch, but isn’t quite able to pull it off as Alicia pulls Astrid into a STUNNER! Astrid collapses only briefly as the two of them begin to circle one another, sizing each other up before moving in to clash once again. The two of them struggle against one another, each enduring a series of blows while managing to hold their ground. After a few moments of stalemate, the two of them back off once again… never taking their eyes off of one another as they move to their corners and, as one, tag in their partners!} Terri Morasco: An impressive display from Alicia Lukas and Astrid Hall! Astrid’s certainly learned more about Alicia’s game since their first matchup, but not enough to make any serious headway.
Vasco Dias: And now we have Shea and Rowan in the ring, a repeat of last week… let’s see if this ends up the same way.
{Rowan and Shea walk towards one another, the former beginning to circle the Shieldmaiden with a look of vicious intensity as she prowls around the ring like a predator. The crowd starts to cheer wildly as the two rivals continue to circle one another, with Shea daring Rowan to come for her while Rowan patiently circles, tense like a coiled spring…} Terri Morasco: You can feel the anger dripping from these women as they circle one another. They want one another BAD!
Vasco Dias: Then one of them should make a move and get this over with!
{As if on cue, Shea makes the first move, moving in carefully and avoiding the larger woman’s strikes as she dashes in close for what looks like a series of furious strikes from the beleaguered Shieldmaiden. Rowan positions to prepare for what she thinks is coming, but is caught off-guard when Shea grabs her around her upper torso, overpowering the Wolf of the Abyss and slamming her to the ground with a BOMBSHELL! The crowd goes nuts with excitement at the use of a finishing maneuver from the Shieldmaiden right out of the gate, and Rowan is on the ground!} Terri Morasco: A dominant display by the Shieldmaiden! She really wants to take out her frustrations on Rowan for all of the threats and taunts she’s endured over the past two weeks.
{Shea doesn’t let up the pressure, positioning herself near Rowan’s head, shouting with anger and defiance as the larger woman fights back from the ground.} Shea O’Hara: “You’re no monster! You’re just a girl, all smoke and mirrors, and I’ll prove it to the whole world!”
{Shea grabs Rowan’s facemask and pulling hard, causing Rowan’s eyes to bulge with fury.} Vasco Dias: Nobody’s ever seen what’s under that mask, but I’m not sure I want to!
{Shea pulls hard on the mask, yanking it up as Rowan resists… but the Shieldmaiden gets the upper hand as the mask begins to slip…!
The lights abruptly black out. The arena is stunned by the sound of a piercing scream from Shea… not of pain, but of fear. The lights come back on, and Rowan is on her feet, re-securing the mask as her eyes burn with hate, while Shea is on the ground, pushing herself away from Rowan in a panic. Shea backs up to the ropes, but Rowan charges forward. Shea lifts up her arm to instinctively shield herself, but still takes the full force of a BALOR’S GAZE directly to the arm… precisely where Eternity broke it a year before.} Terri Morasco: What just happened??!
Vasco Dias: Shea touched the Mask. Apparently Rowan doesn’t like it when people touch her mask. Whatever she saw under there, I hope she blacks it out!
{Shea clutches her arm in pain, but rises to her feet regardless as she glares at Rowan with furious apprehension. Rowan simply tilts her head to the side, stretching her arms wide in invitation… Despite the obvious pain the Shieldmaiden is in from the massive blow to the arm, she seems determined not to let Rowan get away… but then Astrid reaches over and makes the tag!} Vasco Dias: Oh come ON! I want to see Shea and Rowan fight more!
Terri Morasco: Shea needs to recover from that hit. Astrid’s taking the punishment, even though she hasn’t had the time to recover from her throwdown with Alicia. With Rowan fresh, I don’t think this is going to be pretty.
{With one last reassuring look to Shea, Astrid whirls on Rowan and the two of them charge at one another in a huge clash! The two of them trade a brutal and lightning-fast series of savage blows, sending one another flying around the ring in a torrent of explosive violence. The action only briefly pauses when Astrid sends Rowan soaring over the top rope to the outside, but the surprisingly athletic Wolf of the Abyss manages to land skidding on her feet. Astrid lets out a scream of fury as she pursues, climbing over the top rope and leaping down on Rowan with a huge SUPERMAN PUNCH! Rowan is thrown against the announce table by the force of the blow, but it’s not long before she comes back to her senses. Rowan and Astrid continue to swap blows on the outside, but Rowan begins using her superior speed to a decided advantage as she leads Astrid around to the other side of the ring near the entrance ramp. While Astrid begins to lose pace, Rowan moves in for the kill, unleashing a vicious surge of knee and elbow strikes to Astrid’s head, eventually pushing her hard against the apron. Rowan steps back, running a few yards up the ramp before turning around. She points at Shea O’Hara and points at her.} Rowan MacDonnough: WHAT HAPPENS NEXT IS ON YOUR HANDS!
{Rowan then charges down the ramp, slamming into Astrid with a huge BALOR’S GAZE, striking the Valkyrie with enough force to send her under the bottom rope and back into the ring. Rowan doesn’t let up, sliding in to join the still prone Astrid, leaping on top of her and unloading with a DEFILER. Astrid is dazed and out of it from the repeated heavy strikes to the head, but somehow manages to climb to her feet… though she’s completely unaware of her surroundings, seeming almost to rise on instinct. Rowan looks back at Shea, and does a throat-slitting motion with her thumb, before signaling Alicia Lukas in the corner. With shocking synergy, Rowan and Alicia move as one… with Rowan going to the ropes as Alicia slips under, Alicia charges and Rowan flies! Rowan lands a MARK OF MACHA to the back of Astrid’s head, simultaneously matched by a CUPCAKE KABOOM from Alicia Lukas to Astrid’s face! Astrid’s head snaps at a sickening angle, and she stumbles insensate to the corner, falling to the mat.} Terri Morasco: OH MY GOD! WHAT JUST HAPPENED!?
Vasco Dias: There’s no way Astrid’s getting up from that. She’s not moving. I… My god, Terri, I think they killed her!
{Rowan’s laughter echoes through the arena as she stares down at the broken Valkyrie, and Alicia urges her to go for the pin… but Rowan doesn’t listen. She doesn’t care about winning the match nearly as much as she cares about hurting the girl on the floor. Instead of covering Astrid, Rowan continues a series of savage kicks to the ribs, head and neck of Astrid Hall, turning the Wrestling Match into a public execution. As Alicia watches, a look of disgust crosses her face, slowly shaking her head… before she reaches out and tags herself in when Rowan gets close! Rowan turns to her and glares in a mix of shock and anger as Alicia gestures to Astrid, shaking her head and arguing inaudibly with the Wolf of the Abyss. As the two talk, Astrid crawls, barely conscious, to the corner… just far enough for Shea O’Hara to reach in and tag herself in as well! Shea steps into the ring, the pain in her arm forgotten, with a look of absolute fury on her face as she closes on Rowan. Rowan stares Shea down from the corner, eyes shining with malice… before she turns, slips under the ropes and walks up the ramp!} Terri Morasco: Rowan’s leaving!? I knew that madwoman couldn’t be trusted! Alicia said she’d have Rowan’s back no matter what, and this is how the Irish Nightmare repays her?
Vasco Dias: She did what she came here to do – crush Astrid Hall while Shea watched. She didn’t care about winning this match, she just wanted to hit Shea where it hurts – her friends. To her, Alicia was only ever a means to an end. She’s not going to be happy about this.
{Shea and Alicia both watch Rowan leave with looks of fury, screaming threats or demands to return to the ring until the Wolf of the Abyss vanishes backstage. With her gone, the two Diamonds turn to one another, getting a beat of excitement from the crowd as the two square off. Their expressions are resolute, but there is a flicker of mutual respect obviously shared between them. After a few long moments, Shea nods sharply and the two women clash. Shea moves forward with a technical approach, engaging Alicia Lukas with the experience of having fought and beat her before under her belt, knowing well how she fights. Alicia uses her height advantage to her benefit, engaging Shea with a series of muay thai knees in hopes to send the Shieldmaiden fully on the defensive, but Shea powers through, pulling Alicia into an arm drag and grounding the Strong Style Southern Belle. Before she can follow up, Alicia powers Shea to the ground with a kneeling suplex that gives her some distance from the Shieldmaiden. The two women are quickly back on their feet, but before Alicia can make any significant headway Shea takes her down with a pele kick!} Terri Morasco: These two are looking great in the ring together. They know one another’s styles well, and both of these women are experienced and tenacious.
{Shea goes for the ropes, looking to put the nail in the coffin with something from the air… but Alicia sees it coming and rolls too far away for Shea to dare the attack. Shea shakes her head in frustration and descends, and as soon as she’s back on the ground Alicia is right on top of her with a flurry of strikes culminating with a spinning kick to the midsection, driving Shea back against the post. Alicia looks to press her advantage, but Shea slips around her and grabs Alicia around the midsection, taking her down with a snap suplex.} Vasco Dias: I’m glad to see that neither of these women are holding back against one another! I’ll give it to Shea that she’s doing a much better job of showing that she deserves the Shieldmaiden then she did last time!
Terri Morasco: Was that necessary?
Vasco Dias: What? I gave her a compliment!
{With Alicia again on the ground after the suplex, Shea decides to once again go up to the top ropes to finish the job. This time, Alicia isn’t able to recover in time to get away from the corner… which is just what Shea was hoping for. Shea O’Hara signals with the devil horns before soaring through the air, nailing Alicia Lukas with a ST. PATRICK’S PARADE! Alicia is stunned and reeling from the blow, but Shea doesn’t go for the cover, instead following up directly the CELTIC PRIDE! Alicia tries to struggle away, but she’s too dazed to prevent Shea from locking in the hold!} Terri Morasco: Shea is sending a message with this one! This is the same combination of moves she used to knock Rowan unconscious back on at the beginning of May!
{Alicia is in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go! She looks around for a way out, anger clear on her face at the lack of a partner to break her out of the hold. She struggles for a few short moments against the Shieldmaiden, but quickly recognizes that she has no way out. Alicia’s experience in the field is enough for her to know that it’s better to tap immediately out of a locked hold then to risk injury by resisting the inevitable… and as such, taps!} Alison Valance: Here are your winners… Astrid Hall and Shea O’Hara!
Terri Morasco: What a match! I don’t know what’s going to happen from here, but I expect some fireworks in the fallout of this match at Bloody Assizes!
{Shea doesn’t stand victorious over the ring, instead moving directly to the outside to check on her partner Astrid, who is still laying on the ground surrounded by medical staff. Alicia watches them from inside the ring with an expression of mixed emotions as the Valkyrie is loaded on a stretcher with a neck brace, escorted out of the ring by medics and her concerned – but victorious – partner.} ----------------------------------------------------------
SEGMENT
”I’ll Talk To Management”
----------------------------------------------------------
{ We open on Spike Kane outside of the door of Roberto Verona. Spike takes a deep breath before exploding the door open and catching Verona off guard. Verona sits up as Spike enters his office. } Spike Kane: How the HELL do you have a pay per view without me on it!
{ Spike is accusing more than asking as Roberto regains his composure and sinks back into an aura of confidence. } Roberto Verona: I’m sorry there is just no one willing to face you.
Spike Kane: Give me Jacobsen!
Roberto Verona: I’m afraid you aren’t the number one contender.
{ Spike sneers as he leans forward. } Spike Kane: I took out Cable Arcane and Mike Laszlo, I deserve the next shot.
Roberto Verona: But you didn’t win.
Spike Kane: I destroyed them!
{ Verona sits back. } Roberto Verona: You want a match?
Spike Kane: I demand a match!
Roberto Verona: Then how about you and a partner of your choosing versus Mike Laszlo and Cable Arcane!?
{ Spike simply sneers at Roberto. } Spike Kane: I know exactly who to ask… Just need to talk to management.
Roberto Verona: Management?
Spike Kane: Don’t worry about it.
{ Spike walks out of Verona’s office with a large smile on his face. } ----------------------------------------------------------
TAG TEAM MATCH
Jayson Matthews & Bob Pooler vs The Ace & Andrew Jacobsen
----------------------------------------------------------
{The drum beat kicks in. Then the guitar riffs. Jayson Matthews comes stepping out onto the entrance ramp moving his head to the beat and staring out into the crowd with a wide eyed stare of awe at the packed house in attendance. He steps onto the entrance stage and makes sure to hit both sides of the stage to hype the crowd as the lyrics start.} Alison Valance: The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!
Crowd: ONE FALL!
Alison Valance: Introducing first, from Detroit, Michigan, weighing in at 201 pounds, Jayson Matthews!
Terri Morasco: You can tell that absolute war with Bob Pooler last week took it out of Jayson Matthews. He’s limping out there.
Vasco Dias: Pooler really went after him last week, and all of the work Jayson put in? For nothing! Again! Poor bastard. I almost feel sorry for him.
{With that Jayson pumps himself up and runs for the ring with intensity as the chorus starts. He slides into the ring and all the lights in the arena start flashing black and orange really fast as Jayson climbs to a turnbuckle and yells into the crowd as they cheer back at him. The music starts to fade as Jayson waits for his opponent} Alison Valance: Next, his partner!
{The lights in the arena suddenly turn out, plunging the fans into darkness. Little by little, small beacons of light begins to pop up as the fans raise their lit cellphone aloft as the #WWIDN appears on the Jumbotron in bright red and the opening drumbeat of “Red Fraction” begins to play. Amidst a shower of phone flashes, Pooler steps out from behind the curtain as the song begins to pick up. Shielding his eyes with his left hand, he points to the nosebleed sections with his right before making his way to the edge of the ramp.
Alison Valance: Making his way to the ring, from Manchester, New Hampshire; weighing in at two hundred and twenty-eight pounds, he is the IWF Invictus Champion, Bob…POOOOOLER!
Terri Morasco: Speaking of Bob Pooler, he doesn’t look 100% either. These two really bring out the biggest and best in each other.
Vasco Dias: They’re so busy beating each other silly they leave themselves sitting ducks, Terri. They need to move on and bad.
Pooler heads down the ramp, breaking into a run and sliding into the ring beneath the bottom rope. He pops back to his feet and heads to the nearest corner and climbs to the second turnbuckle and throws his arms into the air to the roar of the crowd. He drops back down to the ring and grabs hold of the ropes, tugging down on them and taking a moment to stretch before the match can begin.} Alison Valance: And their opponents…
{The opening riff of "Unbreakable" plays, sending the crowd into a frenzy, and as the drums kick in Andrew Jacobsen comes striding out onto the ramp, Danielle Chase a step behind him. He takes a few steps forward, looking to either side with a wide grin on his face. Andrew looks dead ahead at the ring, cracking his neck, and throws his arms out and head back as a burst of red and green pyro goes off to either side of him.} Alison Valance: First, being accompanied by Danielle Chase, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, weighing in at 235 pounds, he is the IWF Imperial Champion, Andrew Jacobsen!
Terri Morasco: Andrew doesn’t seem to be letting last week’s assault keep his spirits down, and with Bloody Assizes coming flying up, he can’t afford any missteps.
Vasco Dias: Andrew won the Imperial Championship in one hell of a match, but the man he’s tagging with tonight has just a good a chance of winning it right back from him.
{Andrew and Danielle walk down the ramp, Andrew high-fiving fans as he goes, and he pulls himself up onto the apron, looking around at the fans with an infectious grin on his face. He climbs through the second rope and walks to a corner, checking his gloves and talking with Danielle as he waits for the match to start.} Alison Valance: And his partner…
{The lights in the arena dim with the opening chords and then start to flash red, blue and white in rotation as the guitar riff kicks in, joined by the drums. Then the lyrics to "Brotherhood of Man" by Motorhead begin and the circular steel platform that The Ace is stood upon with his back towards us and the Union Jack Flag draped across his shoulders, begins to turn. The platform is decorated to look like a roulette wheel. Slowly it spins a full one-eighty degrees and we now see The Ace facing us as Kathy Conway is on a single bended knee on the right side of the stage. Cards begin to fall from the rafters. Kathy offers him her hand and The Ace waits a moment before stepping off the platform and grasping the hand of his wife, who is carrying his signature steel rake in her other hand.} Alison Valance: First, being accompanied by Kathleen Conway, from Birmingham, England, weighing in at 260 pounds, he is the Apex of Evolution, the Ace!
Terri Morasco: LISTEN TO THE OVATION FOR THE ACE! Manchester has come alive for the Apex of Evolution!
Vasco Dias: They love a home country boy, and they love a man who’s smart enough to let a monster like Cyrus Daniels get a few licks in before taking his place as the conquering hero!
Terri Morasco: He could just be sincere in his intent, Vasco. Not everything has to be some duplicitous scheme.
Vasco Dias: You assume too much. That is why you fail. Well, that and more.
{The couple proudly walk through the shower of falling cards, hand in hand. At the foot of the ramp, the cards stop falling as the couple share a passionate kiss. The Ace then confidently struts over to the steel steps as Kathy remains at ringside, armed. The Ace climbs the steel steps towards the ropes and steps through them. He walks over to the adjacent turnbuckle, climbing the second rope. He raises both arms in the air. The Ace then climbs down, handing the flag over to a stage hand before he walks to the middle of the ring as the lights return to normal.} Terri Morasco: Four of IWF’s best and most beloved, ready to do battle here in the main event of Monday Night Sacrifice! Let’s get it on!
{The bell rings, and we start out with champion versus champion, as Andrew and Bob shoot in to lock up with each other. Bob goes for a quick wristlock, but Andrew spins out and into one of his own. Pooler fights out and snares a side headlock, but Andrew quickly grounds his feet and looks for a backdrop driver! Pooler manages to flip out onto his feet, tagging in Jayson Matthews, and Andrew nods, beckoning Jayson in.} Terri Morasco: Andrew looking to go it alone here in the early goings. Despite their feud over the Invictus Championship, Bob and Jayson have been teaming a lot. Do you think they’ll have an advantage based on that?
Vasco Dias: They’ll stab you in the front. The Ace’ll stab you wherever he has to. Andrew’s going to spend more time looking over his shoulder than wrestling.
{Jayson and Andrew lock up this time, and Andrew quickly negotiates a heel trip, shooting for a single leg Boston crab. Jayson fights it off frantically, not wishing to repeat last week’s experience, and back-rolls to his feet. Andrew charges in, and Jayson snaps off a Japanese arm drag, sending Andrew tumbling head over feet! Andrew hits the mat and comes flying back up to his feet, gritting his teeth. Jayson goes for a spinning backfist, which Andrew catches to block, twisting Jayson around and delivering a slick Russian legsweep! He gets to his feet, holding onto Jayson’s wrist, and looks over at his corner, where the crowd roars at the prospect of seeing the Ace in action.} Terri Morasco: These Manchester fans want to see the tag here! Is it coming?
Vasco Dias: If I’m Jacobsen, I make Ace wrestle as much of this match as I can. Wear out the challenger before he comes for me.
{Andrew nods, walking back towards the turnbuckle, and tags in Ace, much to the crowd’s delight. Andrew blinks, surprised for a moment, but nods, whipping Jayson to the ropes. Ace slides into the ring, and the two men deliver a double hip toss, following it up with a double elbow drop. Andrew kips up to his feet, shouting to the crowd, but his own efforts are drowned out by a massive cheer as the Ace, of all men, kips up to his feet as well! Andrew seems stunned, but steps back onto the apron, content to let Ace do his work.} Terri Morasco: Fluid tag work there by these two men, and Andrew seems caught up in the reaction here tonight.
Vasco Dias: This arena is absolutely quaking for the Ace! I don’t know if I’ve ever heard this kind of support!
{Ace hauls Jayson up to his feet, twisting him into an armwringer. Jayson stumbles against the hold, trying to roll free, but Ace uses his size to his advantage, controlling the wrist. Ace pulls Jayson in, yanking him into back suplex position, and lifts him up for a shinbreaker! Jayson hits the mat, writhing in pain, but he only has a moment to convulse before Ace pounces, stomping on the leg before spinning around and locking in a deadly-tight ACE OF DIAMONDS figure-four! Jayson thrashes against the hold, quickly reaching for the ropes, and secures them! The referee moves in to force the break, and after only a few moments Ace relinquishes the figure-four, nodding as he stands back up.} Vasco Dias: See? He’s being a gentleman. He broke that hold when the referee asked him to.
Terri Morasco: The Ace is playing on the straight and narrow, but long-time viewers know just how deep his bag of tricks goes. If he continues to home in on that leg, Jayson Matthews and Bob Pooler might have a short and painful night ahead of themselves. We’ll find out when Monday Night Sacrifice returns, next!
[COMMERCIAL BREAK]
{We come back from break to see Ace hauling Jayson Matthews up into suplex position, holding him there and letting the blood rush to his head as the crowd counts the seconds!} Terri Morasco: Welcome back to Sacrifice, and welcome back to an incredible display of power by the Ace! Ace and Jacobsen have maintained control during the commercial break, and Jayson Matthews is in deep trouble here.
Vasco Dias: If he can’t make the tag here, then he’s toast, and if Ace hits this stalling vertical suplex, then he’s really toast. Like an English muffin.
{Jayson kicks and thrashes his feet, though, and manages to float over, landing on his feet! As Ace turns to confront him, Jayson leaps, delivering a desperation JAYSON MATTHEWS EXPERIENCE to the bigger man! Ace is knocked stumbling back into his team’s corner, and Andrew blind tags himself in, only for Jayson to use the opportunity to collapse into his corner and tag Bob Pooler! Andrew enters the ring, only to be met with a springboard dropkick from Pooler, who rolls to his feet and rushes to a neutral corner! He climbs to the second rope, wasting no time, and comes off with a diving double foot stomp to Andrew’s lower back! Bob gets back to his feet, not wasting time, and grits his teeth, grabbing a gutwrench and powering Andrew off the canvas for a gutwrench gutbuster!} Terri Morasco: I think we might be seeing some Acid Reflux here tonight, Vasco!
Vasco Dias: Pooler doesn’t want to go down without a fight, and I don’t blame him in the least. If he can pin the Imperial Champion, it reminds the world just what the Invictus Title is all about.
{Indeed, Bob keeps his hands clasped, rolling through and nailing the gutwrench rib breaker, following it up with a gutwrench backbreaker to complete the ACID REFLUX! He drops into the cover!
ONE! TWO! THR—KICKOUT! Bob quickly hauls Andrew to his feet, lighting him up with a knife-edge chop! He delivers a second, and then a third before whipping Andrew to the ropes! Ace reaches over and blind tags himself in, but that leaves Andrew to come off the ropes into the HIGH-VELOCITY HUG! Bob drops into another cover, but the ref waves him off!} Terri Morasco: Bob doesn’t realize that Ace made the tag! He’s covering the wrong man!
Vasco Dias: That mistake’s gonna cost him…
{Bob, to his credit, gets to his feet quickly and charges Ace as he enters the ring to correct the mistake, only for Ace to sidestep and send Pooler crashing shoulder-first into the ringpost! Ace yanks him out, not giving him a moment to breathe, and delivers a beautiful RUSSIAN ROULETTE! Ace hooks the leg!
ONE! TWO! THR—KICKOUT! Ace nods, quickly transitioning into a half nelson on the bad shoulder, and uses his size to bear down on the smaller Pooler. Andrew, by this point, has rolled to the apron and struggled back to his feet, and he reaches over the ropes, calling for the tag!} Terri Morasco: Andrew wants back into this match badly. Is that a wise choice, given the punishment he’s taken?
Vasco Dias: NO! He’s taken a beating to his ribs already! Let Ace do the hard work here!
{Ace ponders the outstretched hand for a moment, nodding, and mouths “This is for my girl” before reaching over and tagging Andrew back in. Ace maneuvers Bob up to his feet and locks in a bearhug, and Andrew immediately understands, ducking between the ropes and hitting the opposite set to come off with a clothesline to Pooler and completing the HART ATTACK! Andrew spins into the cover!
ONE! TWO THR—BROKEN UP BY JAYSON MATTHEWS! Jayson broke the pin with a baseball slide, and Andrew clutches his ribs as he rolls off Pooler.} Terri Morasco: Another good example of double-team offense from Ace and Andrew, but Jayson showing some tag team awareness as well.
Vasco Dias: Jayson Matthews has the art of self-preservation almost as mastered as the art of losing. See what I did there?
{Andrew gets to his feet, clutching his injured ribs, and tries to pull Bob up to his feet. Bob manages to get a burst of strength in his system, though, and bulls Andrew back to his corner, tagging in Jayson. Jayson quickly scrambles in, delivering a sharp knee to Andrew’s ribs, and takes over the facelock from Bob. Andrew gets his feet up on the ropes as they start to move out of the corner, though, and pushes off, bulling Jayson back just far enough to get a tag from the Ace! Jayson struggles, not hearing the tag, and tries to muscle Andrew forward…only for Andrew to summon his strength and pop Jayson up with a flapjack INTO THE ACE-PLANT FROM THE ACE! Jayson’s head spikes into the canvas, and Bob looks to springboard back in to break the cover, only to be caught out of the air with the ICE BREAKER powerbomb! Ace and Andrew stand over their opponents, looking at each other, and nod, simultaneously dragging both men to the center of the ring! The two men grab their fallen opponents’ legs, Ace on Jayson and Andrew on Bob, and look around at the screaming Manchester crowd before stepping through and locking on stereo SHARPSHOOTERS!} Terri Morasco: DOUBLE SHARPSHOOTER! MIDDLE OF THE RING! NOWHERE TO GO FOR EITHER MAN!
Vasco Dias: Jayson’s the legal man, but Bob can’t help him when he’s trapped in the Sharpshooter by the Imperial Champion! This hurts to watch!
{It only takes a few seconds before Jayson quickly begins hammering the mat in submission, clutching at his knee! Ace and Andrew release the holds and stand up as “Brotherhood of Man” plays over the PA, the referee raising both men’s hands.} Alison Valance: Here are your winners, the team of the Imperial Champion, Andrew Jacobsen, and the Ace!
Terri Morasco: Big win for the Ace and Andrew Jacobsen, with the self-styled Apex of Evolution earning the win for his team here in Manchester tonight!
Vasco Dias: This crowd couldn’t be happier for that, and I couldn’t be less happy for them. Hats off to them, though, it was a hard-earned victory.
{Andrew lowers his own hand, shaking his head, and looks over to Ace. Ace looks back, and Andrew offers a handshake. After a moment’s hesitation, Ace takes it, and Andrew pumps the handshake once, raising Ace’s hand to the utter delight of the Manchester crowd.} Terri Morasco: Ladies and gentlemen, Bloody Assizes is coming! For Vasco Dias, I’m Terri Morasco! Good night, and thank you for watching!
