Well I guess we were looking for a reaction after all, this wasn’t necessarily the one I was looking for but it was received, and that is a good thing. I don’t expect people to start cowering; I don’t expect people to board their windows and doors, just for them to notice.
And you all did. Whether or not you want to admit it or not, Lex and I are the two most devastating stars in the business today, and it isn’t because of our high percentage of wins, it is because of the fact that we literally only are doing this to show that we are better then everyone else. I mean, if you think I actually am longing after the Heavyweight title, then you are all as mindless as I thought.
Even Xavier Cross admits that he had no chance that he was defeated, yet everyone wants to line up saying I lost that match. I didn’t lose, and technically neither did Xavier, but I think that if you did a poll of the people in the arena that night and they would all same the same thing. But, I guess I need to get focused, I need to get prepared and let the venom start flowing because I am facing this week, apparently the same person I did last week.
Or wait, I am facing Rob Diamond, but wait, did he say the exact same thing this week that Doc did last week?
Said I couldn’t beat Xavier… Check.
Said that he isn’t scared of me… Check
Said that I am really not that good… Check
Wow, what wit, what mental acuity, what phenomenal oral excellence. You were able to recite, almost verbatim the same thing someone said last week, only this time you added elements of my family.
Holy Bat Promo, hold the phone, call the national guard my kryptonite has been found. Rob Diamond, the main event, the best wrestler in the world now has a secret ingredient, recycling.
Maybe next you will start reducing or reusing. I could sit here, and pull your arguments apart one by one, mocking you and showing the world just how liberally you need to have some practice in history. I could very easily mention that I was focused on the title but after Xavier spoke ill of my daughter I changed my focus, and if you actually paid attention you would know that.
Or I could mention the fact that you said I used my sister as an excuse to lose when in actuality I didn’t lose at all.
But honestly, over the years I have learned that you aren’t worth my time. No one can ever be as good as Rob Diamond, no one can ever rise above him and he will use anything, ignore everything just in the essence of putting himself over time and time again.
See Rob, I know that you are a glory hound, and one of the reasons that you don’t like me is because I take a little of that thunder. I don’t have the flair and pizzazz that you do, but my name isn’t Liberace, I don’t need to use Rip Taylor’s confetti gun to win matches.
I win because I am physically superior.
And this “heel turn” that you spoke of foreseeing? I have been a “heel” since I arrived here. You would know that, if you paid attention to anything other then yourself.
Oh, and congratulations on the tag championship, I am sure it is difficult to hold those titles in the most anemic tag division I ever saw.
{Scene opens, Xander stands in the home of Todd Williams, Xander looks flustered and Todd shakes his head}
Todd: Well, if you weren’t with any other woman, then who was calling you with the sweet talk?
Xander: I don’t know man, I have no idea. I didn’t cheat on her; you know how… awkward I am with women. I don’t know the first thing about picking up chicks.
Todd: That is true; you certainly don’t mean business like Todd Williams does in this situation.
Xander: I just don’t understand it, a woman’s voice and hell, if I was Jenny I would think that I was cheating on her too. What other excuse is there?
Todd: You sure you didn’t go on a drunken Famularo rampage?
Xander: Look man, you know me better than that, you know that I wouldn’t do that to my wife, to your sister. I love her, I am just really confused about this. She won’t even return my calls, I stop by the house and no one answers… I don’t know what to do.
Todd: Look, I talked to her the other day and she is fine, you, however, are not going to be fine. She is mad as a wet hen and let me tell you something, there is something about the Puerto Rican side of her that is like a fiery tiger.
Xander: Oh, I know. I just, Jesus man, I don’t know what to do.
Todd: Well, did you call the phone company?
Xander: The call was made from a pay phone.
Todd: Are you cheating on my sister with a baglady?
Xander: Not funny dude…
Todd: Have you received anything lately?
Xander: Yeah, this text message.
{He holds the phone out to Todd who takes a look at it. Todd moves his eyes close}
Todd: I can’t read this shit, what the hell kind of phone is this, you are a damn hall of famer wrestler and you don’t have a smartphone.
Xander: I don’t like to immerse myself in technology. It says, that she can’t wait to see me again. Same as the voice mail, only, I haven’t seen anyone.
Todd: Maybe it is that old girlfriend you had, what was her name… Amy or some crap right? She always seemed a little psychotic to me.
Xander: Shit, she took the break up pretty hard. Maybe me marrying Jenny got to her and it sparked something. Thanks man.
Todd: Xander…
Xander: Yeah…
Todd: Leave my sister alone for a few days. You aren’t going to want to get near her. Let her cool down, or you might end up a eunuch. And I don’t want that to happen until I am an uncle.
Xander: Ok, thanks for the advice.
{Scene fades}
You know Spike, I could go through a lot of shit here, talking about how you have become a pretentious prick, or that I think the use of hashtags if completely asinine to a grown man and any person that uses a hashtag should be sterilized but honestly I don’t like to force things, I haven’t been nice to my opponents here and it is legitimately because I have thought that none of them have been worthy of lacing my jockstrap.
Yes… My jockstrap has laces.
So, I am disappointed that you are putting your faith in Rob Diamond, and I am sad that you are starting to act like him but I am not going to attack you here. You haven’t taken the low road, you never have and although at times in your career you have been super flakey ultimately I think you are a pretty badass wrestler, a legend in this business, and as you looked up to my father when you were coming through the ranks I have looked up to you as a intelligent businessman and a true delight to watch in the ring.
Woah, I guess that was a bit of a swerve huh?
See, I am not here to put on airs Spike, I don’t need to create animosity to sell matches or tell you I wanted to kill you because honestly that shit is trite and in my opinion has no business in the ring. I am not going to kill anyone… I may beat them, I may hurt them and I may take a bit of pleasure in doing so but I don’t play this.
This match doesn’t need to be sold. It is infamous versus the two wildcards. Lex and I have mutually admired one another for a long time, we have been on the opposite side of the ring and he is one of the only men who has consistently given me a challenge. He is man that I went to when I knew that it was time to stir a pot. Spike, I don’t know why you insisted on trying to make it sound like I am hiding behind people or being protected because if you actually followed wrestler, if you were a student of it and someone who respected the sport you would see that I went a year without losing a singles match. I went for a full year.
I don’t need to hide.
But one man, he may be able to change things, but two men and two men of the stature that Lex and I are, we can really shake things up, and we are going to do just that. You will see in due time, this isn’t some fly by night partnership, we have plenty in store for everyone and this week they put us against the tag champs…
In a non title match right?
So who is being protected?
I think we both know the answer, I need no protection. But it doesn’t hurt to have a friend watching your back.
And I think deep down no that, I think that you understand that, and I think you were pulling deep to find something to say ill of me. Keep pulling, because you have to go deeper. But at least you put more thought into it then Rob, I mean, how many times have I heard bad things about my father and sister?
Oh, just about every week.
So, instead of talking more, I will let my actions do the talking. I will let my abilities tell a story.
And Lex and I will show just what we are capable of this week.
People won’t be able to ignore it.
{Scene opens, Xander is talking on a telephone in his father’s living room.}
Xander: No, not yet. I don’t want this to be expected and people are waiting for something else big. I want it to be a big surprise, I want the world to stand up and take notice of what is happening and honestly, if I pulled this card too soon, then it would be overshadowed. Let’s let things mellow out for awhile, let’s get things nice a calm and then we will go forward as expected.
{He pauses listening for a few moments, the door opens and the enormous Lex Sense walks in, Xander nods to him and Lex comes and sits}
Xander: No man, you just keep doing what you are doing and soon this will commence. Ok? Cool. Look, Lex is here and we are going to get to work.
{He hangs the phone up and looks over at the monster sitting on his chair}
Xander: Well, I think last week went extremely well.
Lex: Yeah, we made our point. What is the plan?
Xander: We are going to watch tapes, find a weakness and then exploit it. We are going to do what we do best, and when we do that, there is no chance that anyone can stand with us.
Lex: All right, let’s get to work.
{Xander stands up and extends his hand, Lex reaches out and the massive hands clasp. The two turn and start heading to the basement as the scene fades}
There is plenty more to wait for.
Surprises around every corner waiting for everyone here.
It is time to make some friends, because things are about to be stirred up, and if you no anything about me, I don’t make threats.
I make promises.
And you all did. Whether or not you want to admit it or not, Lex and I are the two most devastating stars in the business today, and it isn’t because of our high percentage of wins, it is because of the fact that we literally only are doing this to show that we are better then everyone else.
